• Juliene (8/5): Great location. - Love the location! Since it's in the downtown area of Coron it is very walkable if you wanna visit Lualhati Park and lots of restaurants around the area. Staff are also very nice. The shower head holder was broken in our room so it was hard to position it. Also the mirror in the room is too high

The surroundings are very noisy, but that is not at the fault of the accommodation. The rest of the accommodation was quiet. The rooms didn't have proper curtains and so was quite bright as our room faced the pool and communal area in which lights stay on.

The location is fine but the block where we stayed is located by the main road of Coron, which makes the noise level outrageous given the low window isolation. Bathroom facilities could be improved.

• Elisabetta (9/5): Love it! - Really cozy place! We had to choose it as last minute accommodation, but we couldn’t be happier! Very professional team and cool place. The room was very clean, a bit old and dark but for the money we paid it was even too much. The outside area was really nice, and is located really close to the port and full of small shops all around. I would really recommend it!

The shower is hot and good pressure It's under construction, so bad that it's not possible to have a conversation during 8 am and 5 pm. The breakfast. Buffet is to less, so at 8:30 there is almost nothing left. And they don't refill.

Every other day we got to pick what we had for breakfast and on a Saturday they do a buffet breakfast. Sounds great but none of the food looked nice. I would rather have the omelets they serve every other day

This was possibly the noisiest room I ever stayed in. We knew it was next to main road on booking but we totally underestimated how noisy this would be. Even earplugs didn’t block it. And it was constant. Factor this in if choosing to stay here. There were limited choices for our stay in Coron but next time I will not book along the main road. Breakfast bit hit and miss Shower was too hot and a very random spray.

• Natasha (3/5): Has potential but dissapointing - The pool was an added bonus. They did print out a ferry ticket for us and supply an adaptor for electricity. The majority of staff were not receptive. The breakfast was not exceptional as advertised ordering system was over complicated. Food was not properly booked ie toast not toasted. Our last morning we had an early start and requested early breakfast and it was shambolic and disorganised eventually we were given a takeaway bag with some rotten fruit in. The pictures on the website were very misleading and the property is in need of some tlc. We did not have hot water until our last night and the room was serviced only when we asked and then a shower mat appeared. The Wi-Fi was not able in rooms which was not advertised and only available in three places with different log ons. The property is close to the main road so noisy. There was a hard sell for trips as soon as we arrived.
• Mahmut (3/5): Total disappointment - Nothing It is a disappointment. Misrepresented on their website. This is in no way a three star hotel. It does not have soap. Shampoo, hairdryer, a safe. They do not offer water. The breakfast is very little and limited. This is barely a one star hotel. TV does not work cockroaches and ants in the bathroom. Stay away from here

• Moutassem (4/5): Not that good of a stay - The staff are friendly and the location is good and the breakfast is nice. The hotel seems to have seen better days. It is very old and squeaky. There are no windows to close, but shutters only so you feel like you are sleeping on the side of the road. You can also hear the neighbors from below and from the sides as the walls and floors are thin wood that squeaks when you move. Looking at the floor, you can see the lights of the below rooms. There is no internet in the rooms but I already knew as I read it here before I booked. One of the bad things is the electrical plugs, unlike all of Philippines, the ones they have are very old, you need to buy adapters. Bottom line, the hotel is so old and a guest cannot get past that act or feel its negative impact.

We had to ask twice for towels as none were provided initially. They gave us stained ragedy towels. Our room wasn’t turned on during our stay. Had to ask reception for toilet paper. The price is pretty steep considering all of that, you can get much better for that price in Coron.
• Aimee (8/5): Pleasant and friendly accommodation with nice pool - A small and pleasant accommodation with rooms arranged around the central pool, bar & restaurant. The cheaper rooms are near the road and are very noisy all night. The deluxe rooms are quieter and right next to the pool. All rooms have wet room style bathroom with shower / toilet. Good size pool and selection of breakfast options. Sometimes they asked us to select breakfast the night before and sometimes it was a buffet (we stayed over Christmas so maybe they were not fully staffed). Breakfasts were basic, sometimes served cold, only instant coffee. Staff were very helpful and booked trips, a driver and even masseuses for us.

Ao chegar no estabelecimento só consegui realizar o check in as 14:20. Em um dos dias ocorreu uma confraternização dos funcionários do hotel onde os serviços aos hóspedes foram interrompidos às 17 hs e se retornaram no dia seguinte. Café da manhã ruim. Gostei do quarto, banheiro e área da piscina do hotel, porém existem diversos inconvientes gerados pela desorganização do hotel

Confort des chambres assez rudimentaire, petit filet d’eau pour la douche (mais à Coron l’eau est une denrée rare, je pense donc que c’est voulu), assez bruyant et mal insonorisé. Climatisation fonctionnelle. Attention pas de volet ou rideaux occultant, donc jour dans la chambre des 6h du mat. D’un point de vue propreté les draps auraient un grand besoin de renouvellement ou d’un nettoyage intense. Petit dej passable, faut pas avoir faire le matin...

• Kariz (8/5): For family/group stays, yes! Generator, yes! - Nothing much to complain about, other than the tired looking facilities. An upgrade of some appliances would be a great help in reviving the hotel. However, for the price point, this is one if your best bets. (1) there is a pool, which is a key requirement for my daughter who seems ti be part mermaid (lol). (2) there is a backup generator in case of power failures- which is a CONSTANT PROBLEM townwide. Lights, outlets and ceiling fan kick in, so youve got your basic comforts. (3) the staff are attentive. (4) food is affordable and yum. If you want fine dining, go out (sheesh). (5) Bathroom and bedroom is not cramped. The location is spot on- no noise at night, but also just a few shakes from town center. The staff can help you work out your itinerary, and assist un airport transfers. The pool is CLEAN. The bathroom could be (much) better, but this isn't the Two Seasons, deal with it. For the price, I believe it's the best option for you. Family or group stays are ideal.

Man könnte das sicher mit überschaubarem Aufwand wieder zu einem Juwel machen: Gewege reparieren, Amaturen in der Dusche erneuern, hier und da etwas Farbe und den übermäßigen Bewuchs zurückschneiden.

Eggs and toast made to order for me at a special setting as they realised I wasn’t really interested in the Filipino breakfast. Lady in dining room so kind and attentive. Unfortunately I left my booking too late and they could not accommodate me for 4nights so I had to move to another lodge across the road. The lovely lady at reception checked with my forwarding hotel to see when my room was ready and then had someone take my luggage over to by next Lodge. Not only that they allowed me to come over and use the pool for the rest of my stay. Absolutely lovely staff - every single one ! Amazing service. I would definitely stay here again. I would give 5stars but there is an ant problem which is a bit annoying. I’m just not sure there is a solution in a wooden building.

• Karen (8/5): - Firstly, it was great to be picked up at the airport as it's quite a long drive into Coron. Daryonan is a welcoming place and the staff were very helpful. Book your tours through them as we found them cheaper than the tour places out on the street and our tours were great. We also booked massages in our room and the ladies not only did a fabulous job... they were friendly and funny. The hotel was very central and we could easily walk around the streets and down to the port. The downside was the food. While it was probably good for Filipinos, there was nothing appealing for foreign tourists either for breakfast or the evening meal. There is a restobar along the street called Buzzexpress which was better as well as some other small diners which we enjoyed.

• Aaron (4/5): Very dissatisfied - The hotel offers airport shuttle but never arranged it- we contacted them three times and only once did they respond asking for our booking reference number then never responded or arranged the pickup. Our connection flight was canceled and we were unable to make it to the hotel the day of the reservation- since the policy says no refund, they kept our money and did not allow us to use it toward a vacant room the next day when we were able to arrive. I won’t do business with these kinds of people.
• Lester (6/5): Pretty basic but... - When I first saw the place I was truly disppointed, the bathroom is in serious need of repair. There is not enough water pressure for shower thus I had to fill my pale from the faucet. If I want warm water I had to patiently collect it using a small bucket and dump it into the pale to mix with the faucet water in the pale. What an ardous task to shower, but this is the indigenous people's way of life. They dont have alot in the way of western people's hospitality life. My aircon kept leaking water. Having said all these, I must give them credit for making up what they lack in material. The staff are well inculturated in wanting to make visitors like me welcome in their humble place.

The bed is okay and the comforter..expedia just request in your affilliatted hotels that in your bookings give us a good services because i already experienced someone told me that online booking like your site and etc..are cheap..so we need to book directly to there site so that it cannot be a cheap booking as per to her,so proved it to us that it is not true..and me i request expedia to be honest with your post because you posted a very clean hotel rooms but if we already there on that hotel the class of hotel rooms you've been posted is already different from you site. I hope you improve your hotel coordenation so that we,as your client the hotel management can give us excellent accomodation thru from the rooms we booked from your site..thank you

• Christian (6/5): Coron Palawan trip - Place is crawling with ants. Water shuts off at times and when it comes back on, it is with dead insects. However, place is convenient and staff were all friendly and helpful. They will surely attend to your needs with smile on their face. They serve cooked to order breakfast and at least whay I had were good.
• James (8/5): Good location, nice facilities - Darayonan is located within an easy walk of the waterfront and "main" part of town, and the rooms are just far enough away from the road that they're nice and quiet. Of course you'll hear roosters in the morning, but that's nothing new in the Philippines! The hotel grounds are really nice, with a great refreshing pool, nice bar, and a good breakfast at the restaurant. The balcony from our room got nice morning sun, and the room was comfortable and clean. We had plenty of space to spread out all our wet swimwear and snorkel gear. My only real complaint about this place was that they offered bird watching tours, which we were excited about and we'd brought binoculars and a big camera lens just for, but when I tried to actually book it they told me it was "exclusive" and asked if I was a professional photographer, and when I said no, I was not allowed to go on the tour. I never fully understood the reason for this (I think some was lost in translation), but it was disappointing, and I lugged a lot of heavy gear for nothing. So, if you stay here and they mention bird watching, just know that you DO need to confirm in advance that you want to go; don't assume you can book it when you get there. This could have been made more clear.
• Nicole (10/5): Stay in darayonan Lodge - Friendly people/staff. Excellent stay. The room needs a little revamping but otherwise serves its function. The patio and the poolside are awesome places to chill. Poor wifi connection in common areas. Shuttle service is on time. Good breakfast menu selection.
