Cabins are very clean, cozy, and comfortable.
- Ishita (10/5): - The cottages were very spacious and were exactly how it was mentioned on the listing
Staffs were very polite and helpful. Would highly recommend this place. They have a lot of other facilities too though we were not able to enjoy de to time constraints but would definitely be back. Need some maintenance for few cottages

- Shauna (9/5): - After a long drive from Timmins, I was greeted with such a great smile, and it was an easy check-in.
Beautiful little spot to stay.
It’s wonderful that you can have animals stay as well. some people need to not let their dogs bark constantly at 2 AM. That’s not the fault of the staff, but the people that stay there.
- Michael (4/5): Has Potential With More Maintenance - The location was convenient for us and the surroundings beautiful. We enjoyed all the trees on the property and being able to walk to a scenic pond and trail. The layout of the cabin was just what we needed with two bedrooms, a bathroom (the sink outside the bathroom was convenient for four people), a kitchen and a table that seats four comfortably. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The check-in process was smooth and I appreciated the verification call on day of check-in. Although the entire cabin looked thoroughly cleaned, the dishes were not clean (glasses were dirty and bits of food on pans) so we used the paper products we brought instead. This is inconsiderate of previous guests but should be checked by cleaning staff as well. The stove looked old and rusty. The hot water heater was very loud but located so that it did not bother us while sleeping. The only reason I would not return is that there was visible black mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. You could smell it in the bedroom next door as well. We did not want to spend much time in the bathroom so none of us felt comfortable using the shower. I did appreciate the interest and concern when I mentioned this at time of check-out. I think the place has potential but needs more maintenance.

- Sara (9/5): Cute little cabin paradise - I loved the location and the cute little cabin in general!! Exactly what I was looking for on my road trip.
Had a hot tub and a sauna too The sauna didnt actually get hot even after 40 minutes

- Karen (8/5): Other than the issue with changing the lock, we were very happy with our stay and would return. - Delay in getting the lock changed (which was due to previous guest taking key with them) - it took very little time to do but we had to wait until the person arrived to do it which meant we didn't have time to take a walk on the hiking trails.
- Judy (7/5): Not sure I will stay here again - I loved the photos online. I like the area, as it is beautifully set in the woods. The cabin had an overwhelming smell of pinesol It gave me a headache. The cabin was tidy, but not overly clean. There were a lot of dirty hand marks on light switches. I think for the pice I paid/night, it could have been cleaner.
- Ilona (10/5): - Great spot to stay, halfway to Thunder Bay from Toronto. Comfy cabin, and a wonderful pool with sauna after a long day's drive.
- Goran (9/5): Overall, pleasant and comfortable stay for two. Staff was great and responsive. - Friend and I stayed here for 2 nights. We had a choice between a motel in the city or Glenview Cottages. Cottage was clean with one bedroom and a pull-out couch in the living room. I think the property is just right for max 3 people . I've requested an extra blanket, which was delivered promptly. There is a landline phone inside each cottage, which you can use to call front desk or make local calls. There is a good size swimming pool, which I didn't have time to use. Cute laundry room, with 1 washer and drier. They cost $1.50 each. Since we are hikers, we walked their well maintained trails. Remember Big Pine. Cottages are available year round. Staff were great and always maintaining something. There's a small gift shop at the 'club house' for purchasing small items. Beds and pull out couch were really comfortable . A bit rustic and outdated for those used to 5 star hotels. No beach near by. 10 minutes drive South to Sault. We've travelled to grocery store for cooking supplies. Wal Mart is your best bet for one stop shopping. Also, there was a solid traffic northbound on Trans Highway due to construction.
- Erika (7/5): Good value for the price, lots of amenities, great location. - Location was great, and the size of the cottage was perfect. The bed was very uncomfortable for me, but it might just be a preference thing. It wouldn’t stop me from staying here again but I would probably sleep on the sofa instead.
- Parent (8/5): -
- Yvonne (6/5): - Great beds but a very ‘tired’ cabin.
- Zhang (8/5): -
- Jason (9/5): -
- SANG WON (8/5): - It was the great Cottage.
- Eunice (10/5): The accommodation is perfect for the total comfort, distance, and affordability - There is really a cottage feel to it! The property is so near the Agawa canyon train
- Lori (6/5): - Could use a good clean and updating.
- roberta (10/5): -
- William (4/5): very nice staff and great bed - lots of amenities close by the badly stained dirty living room carpet, and dead bugs on window sills, sofa was dirty and a hole in main door,
- Olinda (10/5): - Very good very clean cottages
- Patodia (9/5): -
- Shehnaz (8/5): - Close to the Agawa Canyon train station at a reasonable price. Clean rooms for more than two person stay.
- Patricia (7/5): -
- Achyuth (8/5): Great location - We stayed at one bedroom cottage location is great with great spa and sauna which is neat had a relaxing time there The sofa bed was broken and the bed inside bedroom is noisy
- Wendy (8/5): Vacation trip - Cottage was a nice size for the 4 of us. Location was perfect. We'll lit at night. When you had an issue staff were quick to resolve and friendly. Great trails to walk. Not that I didn't like, but just a few suggestions. The cottage could use a little paint and sprucing up along with a new stove. Maybe create an accessible cottage or put bars in the tub and by the toilets.
- Brian (8/5): - Cabin was in fairly good condition. Duct tape keeping some floor boards down.
Excellent location for our stay and close to nature
- brian levesque (7/5): In a pinch maybe. - Great location on side of hwy. Property is quite large. Very convenient. Property rebooked me due to travel constraints. Dated. I booked after long day on motorcycle. Hot tub was not working!! Sauna was working, but took forever to heat up and was not clean. Plastic bottles and clothing items under bench. Never used pool.
Water on demand in cottages worked but really should be boxed in. They look unsightly. TV is way way too small for size of living room. Looked like a computer monitor but it did work. Hodge podge of cutlery in kitchen. My a/c was particularly noisy but it worked. This place needs some TLC. Understanding the business model of motels and providing what canadian travelers expect is two line items. Hopefully this place improves.
- Brad (10/5): - Everything the hot tub and fire pit Beds were a little hard
- GEORGE (10/5): - Very modern
- Dan Kwak (10/5): -
- Kenneth (10/5): - Didn’t use it
- Marlene (8/5): - Glenview cottages is our go-to stay when visiting Sault Ste Marie every year. We love the property and the cottages. Staff is super friendly.
We always rent a pet friendly cottage so that we can bring our small furry companion.
This year, however, we noticed that the windows, doors and walls were not cleaned. There was dog slobber on the windows and dirt on the doors and walls from the previous guests which we ended up cleaning.
We would have rated a 5 if it weren’t for that.
Everything else was perfect!
- Cheryl (10/5): - We were very pleased with the cabin overall. Unfortunately our stay was brief and we didn't need or use the other amenities, but we found the kitchen well equipped and beds comfortable. It had a homey feel to it.
- Brett (10/5): - all good
- Kevin (10/5): - Nice spot right off the highway. Great, friendly staff. Cottage was well equipped with all the essentials. Would highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay :)
- Ken (6/5): - Nice staff show pride of ownership
- Reino (8/5): - Great price. Rustic charm. Friendly staff. Nice trail nearby. Older but great value
- Olinda (10/5): Great place - Very good and welcoming.
- Ravensbergen (6/5): It was in a great location and we were looking for clean and a bit of space which was delivered. -
- Romel (10/5): - More secluded, short
- ann catherine (10/5): - Privacy, safe, eco friendly
- Ciaschini (4/5): It was a place to sleep and get ready for the wedding - No breakfast provided and if there was a breakfast we didn’t know about it.
We had a wedding to go to and it was close for travelling. Pool table was free Here are my comments
There was no Top sheet on the bed. There was only a bottom sheet. Beds are very hard and pillows are very hard. Rooms are really outdated and stains can be seen in the rug and couch. No Kleenex in the cabin. No paper towels or napkins in the cabin. Heat/air conditioner very loud. Had to ask to have our room cleaned. Had to ask to get the hot tub open when the hours said it was open. Dishes had chips in them. Spider webs in the corners everywhere. I clean them myself. Would I stay here again. Nope not unless changes are made. Pool was not heated as described and was not the cleanest.
- Jennifer (4/5): - Knowing it was a cabin and not hotel room, it was filthy, the floor made my feet black, the bathroom and kitchen were very dirty. It smelled bad. There was garbage all around the property. Beds were not comfortable, I was afraid to use the pillow. The roof was sagging so bad it was clear there was a leak that was drilled from the roof to relief the pressure; however leaving the roof sagging badly in many spots. Overall would not stay again.
- Kathy (8/5): -
- John (6/5): Adequate - Good country location. It was a cold night and the heater in the wall was extremely noisy.
- Bruce (7/5): A nice stop on the circle - Cabins were quaint and well-appointed. Beautiful nature trail on site. Horrible smell (burning plastic?) from the baseboard heat in the bedroom.
- Elizabeth (5/5): - Good location right off the hieay for our road trip A bit run down overall. Rusted electric heat sources, etc
- Paul (10/5): -
- Mikhil (8/5): -
- thanh (9/5): - Exc location. Very helpful and friendly staff.
- Viraj (7/5): Convenient comfortable stay at the edge of town with all amenities - The staff was very accommodating and helpful and responsive to requests. It is clear that they are working hard to upgrade the facilities bit by bit ! The beds are super comfortable and the towels are great quality. Some areas like the bathroom etc could use an upgrade
- Pete (6/5): - Jet tub didn’t work. Shower was broken. Toilet handle was broken.
- Allan (10/5): - Basic but nice.
- Susan (8/5): Great place to spend a night - Location and kitchen in cabin
- Nicole (10/5): - The property was very nice and have nice trails.
- Shelby (10/5): - Staff are awesome, hot tub is nice, cannot swim in the pond and the park is actually over where the RVs are. Pool table is in the office, haven't used it yet but look forward to it. Cabins are close together but hasn't been an issue. We are staying another night! :) thanks!
- Debbie (10/5): - The cottage we stayed in was very clean and felt very comfortable. We only stayed one night, but will definitely be back.
- KAREN (10/5): - Accommodating staff even when we were running late
- Walker (5/5): It was a well located and friendly place to land after a long day of motorcycling. - No breakfast. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The furnishings were old and not comfortable. The floors were dirty.
- linda (8/5): - The property suited our situation as we had two dogs. The front desk was very helpful as we had a few issues that came up that they helped us with. Did not like the parking as it caused a problem with our tire but once we told them they tried to remedy it. Overall good facilities
- Timo (8/5): -
- Caroline (9/5): We will stay again if we are in the area - It was very clean and comfortable and had a kitchen very well stocked with dishes, cutlery and pots and pans. Bedside lamps didn’t work even though they were plugged in
- Laura (9/5): -
- Carole (9/5): Excellent Vacation - Proximity to city, spacious cabin, nice amenities. Bed needs gel memory topper, the matress is a bit too firm for us...other than that, it was excellent We have nothing to complain about. We enjoyed our stay.
- Teter (9/5): -
- Susan (8/5): -
- Bao (8/5): - Considering the price, it’s a great place to stay with your family. The location is approximately 8 km from downtown Sault Ste. Marie, nestled in a forest. There are plenty of great facilities to enjoy, like a swimming pool and a fire pit. However, be prepared for plenty of mosquitoes during the summer months.
Additionally, please note that there is air conditioning only in the living room, so the two bedrooms might get quite warm in the evening.
- Tracey (9/5): Great stay - Great little cottage, we were only there a couple of nights but it was perfect Nothing
- Claude (8/5): - The cabin we stayed in needs some general upkeep. The air-conditioner was stuck at 60F so we had to turn it off and on to maintain a comfortable temperature in the cabin. It was also short on cutlery.
