Purtroppo al nostro arrivo non c’è stata la corrente per tutto il giorno e l’appartamento non era riscaldato. Non chiaro l’ingresso perché non c’è l’insegna ALTAMAREA, quindi non subito individuabile

Ci hanno chiesto 25 € al giorno per il soggiorno del cane… E sinceramente per un appartamento mi sembra esagerato. Ci sono stati dei lavori per tutto il mio soggiorno, il primo giorno ci hanno consegnato l’appartamento in ritardo perché stavano facendo dei lavori sull’aria condizionata e l’ultimo giorno hanno interrotto la corrente quindi mi sono dovuta fare quattro piani di scale con le valigie a scendere, perché gli ascensori erano bloccati.

Tout est au tarif exorbitant et en supplément de la piscine au parc voiture on vous laisse le choix entre payer 15.- de parc public ou 17.- de parc de l'hôtel. Tout est en supplément. Ameublement vieux et usé sans parler du balcon crade et de la chambre usé depuis longtemps. Et le top un matelas pourris ou les ressort vous laisse des marque dans le dos...

Matthias (7/5): Good location for Ironman but bit run down with great breakfast (except raceday) - One of the best breakfasts we had in Italy Although there were a lot of triathletes for the Ironman in the hotel, they only served breakfast from 6am on that day, which doesn’t make sense when the Ironman starts at 7:30am
Lefmann (10/5): Exceptional - The front desk staff was friendly and helpful! Monica was so sweet and patient with my questions! The property is nice and our room was adequate. Breakfast was great, big selection of food! My only minor issue was the underground parking situation, having to call the front desk each time we wanted to enter or leave for them to open the gate was silly. We ended up just parking on the street even though we paid to park underground. Not a big deal though!

Enrico (1/5): Bad - I am writing this review in English as it may be useful for ironman participants. I am one myself so understand where I am coming from. Pros: position in front of transition, literally two minutes. Cons: it's an ok three star hotel though 120/euros per night in september are a lot. While I was waiting to check in a guy walked in and inquired about prices and was offered 80/night. Breakfast on race day is at 6am. It's called ironman breakfast, but that is quite ridiculous because it's too late if the swim start is at 7.30. I have been to other hotels both in cervia and elsewhere for ironman races and breakfast in some case was at 4am! I would not go back just for this reason The lady at the desk offered parking at 15 euros per day, saying that if I parked on the street I would have to pay (blue stripes). Now, I was at cervia ironman before and knew that parking is free on the weekend of the race, and the hotels actually told me so. I checked on they city website that this is still the case in 2024. maybe the lady did not know, but... There are no signs showing the hotel name on the street. In fact, you have to check in at a neighboring hotel. It took me 10 min to figure this out, and I managed just because I speak the language (I'm Italian) When I checked in I presented my ID. I had reserved on booking and registered my credit card. I didn't have the card on me (I had left my wallet in the car, parked far away), just had the the photo ID. I asked if she could charge my credit card registered on booking, but she said she could not. I asked her if I could give her the card later (after all she had my id and also my card number on booking) but she refused to give me the key. In the end I used another card on my phone (which I would have preferred not to for a number of reasons) otherwise I would have had to walk 1km back to the car before checking in. It's of course their right, but... There is no trash bin in the room, except for the bathroom trash bin. On the other had they have ash trays, which seems to indicate they allow for smoking Breakfast is till 10.30 on the day after the race, and check out is at the same time.

We were received with our pets. The second was given a discount on accommodation. Pleasant staff. They checked us in late at night without any problems. We are very satisfied, thank you! there is no.

Twillardo (2/5): Worst Customer Service Experience - The location was great for the beach, the centre was about a 20-minute walk, a couple of good restaurants close by, the supermarket was about a a 15-minute walk, and the train station was 5 minutes by taxi. Breakfast was fresh & plentiful, our room was cleaned and beds made daily, the dining room & cleaning staff were great. The Customer Service. Booked an apartment on the 15th January as a treat for our son who was turniing 18, then two weeks before we were due to leave, we received a message on 2nd May from Customer Service where "the property recently changed the room name from apartment to quadruple room with sea view" We advised that this stay was for our son's 18th, and the Quadruple was unsuitable as we wanted him to have his own room in the apartment, they did offer alteratives, but there would be an additional cost, the situation was still unresolved when we arrived at the hotel, despite our protestations the manager was unmoved & was quite belligerent. We begrudgingly had to accept this change as this was meant to be a special occasion. Overall, our stay was tainted due to the poor customer service experience, there appeared to be very few guests, so we were flummoxed as to why they couldn't give us what we had booked and paid for in good faith, we did ask for a refund so as we could book something more appropriate, however, this was dually denied, due to our experience we would not return to Altamarea Residence, however, we would defo return to Cervia as it is a great destination.

Sara (9/5): super lovely - good position, very good breakfast, super kind receptionists. All was very good. Kids area wasn't open but people told me was very good, a pity not to use it. Just because I want to give an advice I can say the parking area wasn't used properly by the hosts and I can say that forniture was a bit old but it wasn't very important.
Samantha (5/5): Close to the Ironman village - Choice of breakfast, but still only Industrial Kellogs Close to the Ironman Start Staff could be friendlier No possibility to have lunch or diner and far from the historic centre Booked a stay at Altamarea Hotel and couldnt find any placards or something with this name, so we were looking about 10 minutes and than asked at the Hotel Villa del Mare, which told us it would be there.
