Guest Reviews
- Tacadena (10/5): -
- David (10/5): - You could not ask for a nicer quiet B&B and the hosts were amazing. You will be all by yourself as they only host one couple at a time. On Cottage Lake the facility is warm and friendly, and a little dated with the layout. It's private and breakfast is served at whatever time you want, and it's excellent! A very nice getaway that seems away from everything but only half hour-40 minutes or so from Seattle.
- Tamara (10/5): - Our stay was fantastic! The accommodations were perfect. They have thought of every little detail and are gracious hosts.
- Leon (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): - Beautiful property with incredible views and a magical ambience. Great place to relax!
- Renee (10/5): - We loved the cozy feel of our own indoor space, the tranquil outdoor space (flowers, fountains and a lake), the fresh breakfast and the very generous hospitality of John and Beth. We spent a delightful 3 nights there, visiting the nearby wineries, hiking nearby trails and just chilling out on the lake or in the hot tub. Perfect for our 24th wedding anniversary.
- Jammie (8/5): Just lovely. - Wonderful stay with J & B. Such a beautiful property and relaxing outdoor environment. Serenaded at night by the lake dwelling bull frog and during breakfast by the host. Nature abounds with the birds and fish bubbling in the lake.
- Rachel (10/5): Good for single or multiple night stay - The accommodation appears to be a fully developed walk out basement. Carpeted floors. Large living area. Attentive hosts.
Beautiful view of the lake. Small dock with rocking chairs, fire pit. Generous breakfast brought to us.
- Louise (10/5): Best Place to Connect with Relaxation and Natures - Our stay at Cottage Lake Bed and Breakfast was very relax full. The natural beauty of the & B is breathtaking. We viewed and connected with so much of site-seeing of otters, variety of birds, fish and ducklings, not to forget about the breathtaking view of the stars and moonlight. The treehouse is a great area to view the lake and to meditate. The owners Bet, John and their greeter Sadie are very welcoming. We will return to this B & B and will be telling our friends of this extraordinary location.
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful view and outside space to enjoy. Our hosts were outstanding with their communication and hospitality.
- James (10/5): - We truly enjoyed our stay with our hosts, John and Beth. Their suggestion of Snoqualme Falls park was a highlight that we never would have considered. Only qualm would be, a more comfortable couch and chair to lounge in.
- Michael (10/5): - We had an excellent stay. John and Beth were so nice and even blessed us with some homemade cakes. Highly recommend for any type of vacation or get away.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shayla (10/5): - Beautiful views… relaxing atmosphere. Hosts were beyond amazing and welcoming. Really makes your stay unique and a perfect get away.
- David (10/5): Peaceful and beautiful retreat - We found Cottage Lake Bed and Breakfast to be a peaceful and very comfortable retreat for a couple of days. The accommodations are comfortable, spacious and private and the view was special. We enjoyed visiting with our hosts very much and took advantage of their very eclectic collection of books and music. We would happily return again in the future for another stay.
- Rebecca (10/5): Incredible stay at Cottage Lake B&B with warm hosts and breathtaking views - I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cottage Lake Bed and Breakfast in Woodinville, Washington, hosted by the lovely couple Beth and John, and their adorable dog Sadie. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by their warm hospitality and friendly nature.
The cottage itself was a dream come true - cozy, charming, and beautifully decorated with every detail carefully considered. The room was immaculate, with a plush bed, soft linens, and fluffy towels.
The highlight of my stay was the delicious breakfast that Beth and John prepared each morning, and brought out to me so I could eat lakeside.
What really made my stay special was the beautiful surroundings. The B&B is situated by the serene Cottage Lake and surrounded by lush greenery, providing the perfect spot for a peaceful retreat. The outdoor seating area and fire pit were great places to unwind and take in the stunning views.
Overall, I highly recommend the Cottage Lake Bed and Breakfast. Beth and John made my stay unforgettable. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful location with exceptional hospitality and mouth-watering breakfast, this is the perfect place for you. The only thing I wished for was another bedroom so I could come with a friend next time!
- William (10/5): - Beautiful lake and garden views, wonderful accommodations and perks. John and Beth are fabulous and attentive hosts. Will stay again!
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- julie (10/5): lovely, peaceful place - Lovely, peaceful place. Gorgeous water view amidst a deck and yard filled with flowers. Hosts are thoughtful and kind. Area is close to vineyards and other events.
- Nadja (8/5): Great location! - location fridge in room would be nice
- Cynthia (10/5): - Brenda and John were amazing! The lake views, breakfast, and comfort of the home were excellent!
- Julianna (10/5): - This place was simply amazing! From
The hot tub overlooking looking the lake to the fire pit on the dock there is no bad view. The view from the office is a writer’s dream. The breakfast was so good and healthy. John and Beth are so kind and really go out of their way to make your stay special. It is the perfect romantic getaway. We will be back but for more than a weekend!
- Michael (10/5): wonderful experience - We had our morning coffee in the gazebo with a fire in the fire pit, watching the birds and animal life in the lake. My wife decided they have their own lake monster,(or maybe a beaver)lol. There is a wonderful library to use with many classic titles. Quiet, peaceful, and many wineries, hiking and waterfalls nearby. Perfect variety of food for breakfast. Best of all the owners John and Beth are respectful, friendly and just wonderful people. If it was warmer, we would have taken out the kayaks and looked for that lake monster. LOL. The tree house is an amazing place to visit, what a view of the lake from up there.
Only concern is the hill the cottage is on, I thought I would fall. Once I got used to the rocks that are NOT slippery at all, I was able to walk up an down to the lake without concern.
Thank you for a wonderful vacation
- Lori (10/5): - The owners, John and Beth were so kind and hospitable. We were treated like family! The cottage is on the lake with beautiful views and wildlife. Saw a resident bald eagle frequently. Breakfast was delicious and our stay was amazing! Thank you to John and Beth for such a wonderful time! We will be back.
- Shalini (10/5): Relaxing perfect getaway - We went to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary and it was beautiful, quiet and relaxing. We loved it. Plus super convenient to the wineries with a cab ride. Also the hot tub and view and breakfast by the lake was amazing !
- Linda (10/5): - Incredible experience. I can't rate it high enough. Our hosts made us feel like part of the family.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very quiet place by the lake. Nice bedroom with family room connected. Beth and John were very nice host of the cottage. Only downside was the bathroom was a distance away from bedroom. For older people might be a problem when they have to rush. Carry light suitcases for carrying distance from parking to entrance, a little walk. Very nice couple.
- Scott (10/5): Great B&B on a serene lake - The hosts were amazing, the breakfast was great. The dog was awesome. I'll be back soon.
- Irena (10/5): On the water's edge - We stayed in a room, not in a treehouse.
It was lovely! The room is tastefully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. Overall throughout the property, every detail is thought of.
The hosts are the nicest people. Beth was lovely to talk to and John played guitar for us while we were having breakfast. Harley, their dog, is very friendly and will greet you like an old friend.
I wish we stayed longer to enjoy the lake. You can kayak or swim or bring a floatie and float.
Thank you for openning your home to us!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Location and service were amazing! Cleanliness of the treehouse and bathroom has room for improvement.
