O quarto é pequeno, mal iluminado e a limpeza claramente não é prioridade: lençóis não estavam adequados e o cobertor dava a sensação de não ter sido lavado. À noite, foi impossível dormir confortavelmente. A recepção, em sua maioria, foi extremamente deselegante, principalmente uma funcionária, acredito que seu nome é (ALESSANDRA) que se destacou pela má educação. O ponto positivo é o preço baixo e a localização central, mas isso não justifica a falta de higiene nem o mau atendimento. Não voltaria e não recomendo, a não ser que o critério seja apenas economizar e aceitar condições ruins.

• Laila (2/5): Não indico! - Péssimo ainda é pouco! Cheguei e o quarto que me colocaram estava sem CHUVEIRO, pois a ducha estava quebrada. Questionei e a resposta que me deram foi: “Se está quebrado, tem que esperar amanhã para alguém olhar”. Para piorar, na hora que fui dormir encontrei um par de meias sujas, de criança, por baixo da coberta (ou seja, nem mesmo trocaram os lençóis). Novamente reclamei e só então me trocaram de quarto (muito a contra-gosto e dizendo que eu estava RECLAMANDO DEMAIS). O quarto novo era grande e bem espaçoso, com 5 camas divididas em dois espaços, porém apenas UM ar condicionado de 9.000 Btus para refrescar todo espaço (o que obviamente não adiantou). O café da manhã não é buffet, é um prato montado que eles entregam na mesa, com pão e alguns (poucos) pedaços de fruta. Em um dos dias, pedi para trocarem as toalhas e a troca só foi feita no dia seguinte. Resumindo: o hotel é péssimo. Nem de longe merece as 3.6 estrelas que tem aqui.

• Telma (8/5): Conhecendo Santiago - Os recepcionistas foram otimos, falta um serviço para ajudar a levar a mala, e que todos falem pelo menos inglês, pois alguns nao faziam questao de entender e ajudar, nao foram todos. Sai donlugar sem saber como ascendia uma luz no quarto. Mas o hotel é muito bonito, cama confortavel, banho gostoso, sem toalha e a janela do banheiro nao fecha direito. Mas compensa pela localizacao e recepcionistas prestativos co café é bom, mas vem regrado, nada diferente, todos os dias a mesma coisa.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Cheap, not cheerful - The hotel is completely different from the pictures shown on the website. In fact they put me on an adjacent hotel called Hotel Sonetto. It may be cheaper than others but you get what you pay for. The bathroom was a bit filthy, lots of ants, and the room and beddings are generally in poor conditions. I stayed for three nights and they never cleaned the room. I had to extend the stay for one night (too much hassle to move elsewhere…). They woke me up at 11pm on my last night saying I hadn’t paid, and then tried to charge me double the amount they agreed for the night. The matter was resolved ultimately, but it was an unpleasant experience for me, and I felt they were at best mismanaged, if not dishonest. In short, they say it’s 3-star but my experience suggests that 1-star would be generous. Avoid it.

• TheReliant1000 (4/5): Allright, but noisy. - Very well located indeed, near Museu de Bellas artes, restaurants, shopping area, metro station, great for walking, but it is not a "boutique" hotel. My room was too noisy, probably because a previous larger room was divided in two with paper wall. Can't say abou other rooms, but mine was terrible in this aspect. Also, the view from my window was sad. Breakfast was minimum and staff ok, just ok. PS: stay before the pandemic.

• SparkzJordan (6/5): Short stay in a great Santiago location - Quaint hotel in a great location close to the Barrio Bellavista. Supermarket across the road which is really handy. Nice little terrace to chill on out the back. Room was ok for the price and breakfast was ok but there were numerous things that let it down. Our toilet didnt flush and you had to lift the top off to get it to work. The safe didnt work. The air con was really weak. The woman on breakfast duties was very stern and packed away the food before breakfast was over and without asking if we had finished which we hadn't. One final point. Being a tourist we shouldn't have to pay the 19% IVA Tax as long as we provide our PDI entry slip. The guy that checked us in insisted we had to pay it. After going backwards and forwards I paid it as had just arrived in the country and wanted to chill. Luckily we managed to get a refund from the manager on check out once we brought it to her attention.

• thomaspashley16 (2/5): Disappointing staff attitude - On booking.com I booked the wrong weekend for my stay at this hotel. It was a non refundable ticket and it was my fault. I arrived at the hotel and got to reception. Firstly, no one spoke English and and we had to talk to each other via google translate. They couldn’t find my booking for that day and I found out the date I booked was wrong. I explained that I no longer needed the 2 nights next weekend and can I change them to now...I was stood in their reception after a 8 hour coach ride from Mendoza. There was a spare room and I still intended to stay at the hotel. They declined and said I would have to book and pay again - very disappointing. The rate at reception was nearly double that of booking.com so I went back to the website and was about to press confirm payment when they said sorry the available room has a problem and is no longer available. They then told me I would have to get a taxi to their other hotel across the river and stay here. Again, not accommodating. I booked this other Tremo hotel at a higher cost to my original booking and went. I was presented with a downstairs room sat confidently between All the noise from reception and my window next to the cafe area. Very tired, very noisy is not my idea of fun. The room was clean, but the bathroom and shower very dated. The location was good next to the Bellavista center with restaurants. Anyway, it’s up to the hotel to overall a non refundable ticket, not booking.com. I went to cancel this reservation for next weekend and it said I could email the hotel via the website and ask for a refund or date change. As I had already paid the new hotel booking fee I asked for a refund on the basis that I am still staying and paying for a room in the hotel chain. They abruptly replied saying no. Very disappointed with the attitude of these people. I can admit to the initial mistake, but not letting me change the dates as I’m stood in reception trying to check in is poor form. Travelling on a budget and effectively lost $100 to these guys when they could quite easily helped me out. It’s things that this that ruin stays in cities.

• cliquemundo (8/5): Good stay in Santiago - Renovated rooms and good breakfast. Nothing to complain about the hotel. Very friendly staff and great location - walking distance from the Patio Bellavista. Many bars and restaurants in the area. Watch for the taxi drivers - we got ripped off by one of them.
• Sandro (4/5): - I had assumed it would be a boutique hotel, but it was far from that. We had to change rooms 2 times. The first one it wasnt in the hotel, but across the street in a run down building and the room was terrible, with the window in front of the inner cafeteria. The second room it was tiny, so the sink of the bathroom was in the bedroom itself. And the bathroom it was stinking with the smell of a cesspool. Really unpleasant. After my wife complaint a lot we were relocated for a better room in the hotel. We really aprreciate the efford of Issac, the staff member who was the only professional worth of a praise. The breakfeast it was mingle, just bread and some cold cuts. No fruit in the sight. No coffee ready to drink, just nescafe in powder. To a hotel who have a boutique in the name is a hack. We felt really misguided by the photos. It was an utter desapointment.

O edredondon, as pontinhas das penas saiam pelo pano e esperavam a perna (nunca tinha visto isso). Está longe de ser um hotel Boutique. Sugiro trocar o nome. Táxi do hotel mais caro que táxi do aeroporto.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Not really what I expected - The pictures look great. The room I got was a single room, on the ground floor, with paper-thin walls, windows that looked into the dining room (yes, not outside), broken everything in the bathroom, ... It was just a terrible night stay.
• Jay (2/5): - Terrible hotel for 3 nights. At best this is a 1 star hotel, maybe slightly better than a youth hostel. 3 1 /2 stars is delusional. They first gave us room 27A, in the annex across the street. It was right next to the front door, the front desk and the road. It sounded like grand central station. The air conditioner leaked a few ounces an hour onto the floor next to the bed. There was only one staff person who spoke English, a nice guy from Venezuela, who was very helpful. At our insistence, he moved us to a quiet and bigger room upstairs, 17A, in the Annex. Why stick us in the worst room at first? Better room, but only one 50-watt bulb for the entire room, wobbly, slanted floors that made our suitcases roll, and a refrigerator that oozed brown stuff. I now have the flu. Broken vanity table tipped and broke a glass. Just propped it back up against the wall. Breakfast was inedible -- if you don’t like meat and cheese on white bread. No fruit, except apples the first morning. In contrast, our 4-star hotel in Bueno Aires was a 4-star hotel under American standards. Wow what a difference. I thought I could trust Expedia’s stars. Very disappointed.

Me cobraram 50 dólares de taxa de garantia de uso de um frigobar que nem existia. Roupas de cama deploráveis de sujeira. Lençóis sujos e manchados. Edredom, que era branco, estava com as bordas pretas de tanta sujeira. Após ter conversado com os recepcionistas, que não deram atenção ao fato, e depois de uma noite sem dormir por causa dessas condições, tive que reservar outro hotel e ir pra lá. Aguardo ressarcimento do pagamento!

• jorge (4/5): Gute Lage.... - Die Lage ist gut und zentral umgeben auch von einigen guten Restaurant. Das Zimmer - ohne Fenster - war gewöhnungsbedürftig. Und wc/douche ohne jegliche abstellfläche und etwas lieblos. Das Frühstück ist einfach gehalten... täglich fehlt irgendwas.... und der orange-juis war mehr Zuckerwasser als Fruchtsaft.
• Deceivin (2/5): Rude staff run down hotel - Tremo hotel boutique was chosen due to a nice location. I checked in and went to the third floor (no elevator) the room. First, no fridge as promised and the floor was ripped and covered with a rug. To make matters worse there was an infiltration in the wall (subjected to mold). I took a picture went downstairs talked to the receptionists and heard from the reception desk that the hotel was full and no other option. The treatment from the staff was unacceptable, it felt they were doing us a favor. These people should be better trained to deal with tourists. So, breakfast was not nice at all. Bed sheets stained and worn out. Bar soap and shampoo never replaced, we have to ask for. Bottom line it is not recommended. For a bit more money you can stay in a better hotel.

• debcenturion (4/5): This place sucks - What a dump. Stayed there twice and second time got worse. Be prepared to climb up to 3 flights of stairs with your luggage. First check in got there early and my room was ready but they wouldn't let me in my room until 3. Paid for the first and second visit up front, but the wanted to charge me again for the second visit. Stayed in a total of 3 rooms each got worse. Much better places to stay in this area
• GabrielaV007 (6/5): Good Location - I found a bit overpriced, but staff were helpful, good breakfast (though not many options), good bed and shower. If you like sleeping in the dark, some rooms get the morning sun and the blinders are not enough to avoid the sun light. We had problem with a locker with one fo the rooms we were in. It wouldnt work with the key card then they had to break it and leave it open at all times. Other than that, its a good hotel.
• jjskelton (4/5): Avoid if possible ... - on arrival was blithely informed my room was'over the road' , my protests were swept aside even tho I was a solo female traveller and made my feelings known. This room was awful, a long thin corridor with weird single bed placed vertical to my double, effectively blocking the drawers of a hideous unit housing a tv and wardrobe. There was no reception or night porter 'over the road' and the wifi was pathetic there. I was informed breakfast was served in the hotel tho...you just have to cross 4 lanes of traffic and hey presto you are in the hotel (yes the one I'd booked!) The next morning my complaints were listened to and I was put in ground floor, street facing room 4. Rubbish, including fly tipping is placed outside the window and trash collectors are kept noisily busy all times of the day and night. The walls are thin, alarms go off constantly, water drips from an overflow somewhere and sleep is obviously not something you are going to get a lot off. The breakfast is a joke...hostels offer better quality and variety of food which is the same daily fare placed on one spindly single trestle table. The pros? Digging deep really only the fact it's in a good walkable location and receptionist Paula was helpful. The rest were pretty ineffectual to be honest.

We have reservations for five nights arrive early on red eye flight...clerk says there are open rooms but must wait for manager to arrive eight am...he says no rooms open you must wait until 3 pm..is policy.. 245 pm lets us in room....... All the staff and the room very good..... We leave for vina del mar for three days and return for out last night at three pm.... The manager says bed broken in our room send us to a room in poor part of town..... Again...how sad .... nice hotel and staff but rude and neglectful manager

They make you pay an outrageously high deposit (US$70) in case you break anything, but things are actually already broken or poorly maintained in the room! The hotel is well located, beds are confortable, rooms spaceful and quite clean. Unfortunately for the price that you pay it has its downs too, its very noisy as the windows dont close properly, despite the excellence in the reception (specially the french guy) the service in the breakfast is quite poor, the stairs are very noisy so you keep listening everyone going up and down. Besides that the breakfast is served in a terrace in winter...at 7 degrees. Overall an ok experience but for the same price you can get much more with other options.
• Yorg30 (6/5): Just ok! - Tremo Hotel is located on a quiet street in Bellavista. The breakfast was good and the Internet service was fine, though too expensive for solo young travelers like me. This is a boutique hotel, is all sense of the term, but on that is clearly fading. The standards of the hotel room were low, the walls are paper thin, the bathrooms are dimly lit, and the staff cater to senior tourists or non-Spanish speakers in order to monetize the tour programs on offer here. Generally, the staff were friendly. But one in particular, a tall Spaniard with bad manners, complained openly about having to come upstairs in order to help me open the safe. He was rude and mean.
• 477rodolfoo (10/5): We wil comeback - The service was very good with a nice breakfast and the room was just the way we like it with a very nice bed we have wi fi and blow dryer in the bathroom and a little refrigerator . And is also very close to restaurants and bars and some of d main attractions
• Eliza2B (6/5): Great location but noisy - This hotel is newly renovated but fairly basic. All hard surfaces and white blinds, meaning that noise travels and it's very light all night. Very noisy aircons. Nice touches like all day drinks and fruit, but service is ordinary (one day they forgot to service our room). Overall while the location is great, the place is very noisy - traffic noise in the front rooms and party noise in the rear courtyard (one night until nearly 4am). Staff are friendly and some speak English but not all. Basic breakfast is included.
• tiagonc (8/5): Cheaper than the Mercure Vitacura, specially travelling in 3 people - We got ourselves a 3-person bedroom facing the street. Very clean bedroom, Lots os natural light. A bit os noise from the street cars too, but only after 8 o'clock a.m. There is no safe-box in the bedroom. The beds are JUST PERFECT, what a wonderful matress. There is a empty fridge in which you could put your own wine. The staff is very well educated and gives you tons of attention, especial thanks to Rubi, Hermes, Julio, Caio and Paula. Short distance from main attration. Would definetly stay there again.
