Roth (9/5): Super delightful Bed and Breakfast: amazing room, breakfast and hosts! - Our hosts were just lovely! Our room was spotless, and incredibly comfortable. We so enjoyed that there were two easy chairs (not always provided in accommodations). Breakfast was incredible. We only wish we'd had time to enjoy the little patio and outdoor areas! We live in an old Victorian and know the issues of old buildings; however, we were disappointed that the room above us created late night, and early morning noise. We stayed in a first floor room in the separate building. The TV was a bit loud, and much moving about at 6 am including shower and bathroom fixture noises. Other than that, it was a delightful place to stay on all accounts!!

Regina (10/5): - Fabulous B&B in Vermont! Hosts were kind, bed comfy, and the breakfast delicious! Would stay again. Area is typical Vermont- vast green space with little else happening. Wonderful place to stay while driving through the state.

Roberta (10/5): - Excellent bed, shower, and breakfast so it hit my big B&B 3. It’s beautiful setting, not too fancy, but more than homey. The owners were friendly and down to earth, loved their well behaved dog. Lovely antiques throughout and thoughtful touches like an instant hot water faucet for tea which was easy to access, wine glasses and bottle opener in your room, samples of shampoo bars which encourage people (I hope) to eliminate some single use plastic. Close to Burlington, minutes from Vergennes village. I would stay again.
Peggy (10/5): We will definitely recommend this Bed & Breakfast. - We had a pleasant stay at this Bed & Breakfast. The Adirondack Room was large and comfortable. The bed sheets were the softest we have ever felt! We loved them! The fireplace in the room was perfect and beautiful. The jetted tub was perfect for two. Breakfast was a plated meal and excellent. The owners dog was super cute with a sweet personality. He was love at first sight! 💕

Caitlin (10/5): - The Strong House Inn is an absolute treasure. The staff is incredibly kind, friendly, attentive, accommodating and professional. Breakfast was included but easily could have charged $15 per person - everything was so delicious - better than most breakfast restaurants. They also served coffee (best coffee I've had in a long time) and orange juice with the meal. The grounds are serene and breathtaking. Beautiful, mature landscaping in a quaint setting. There's a nice farm view across the street. (There was a slight odor, but the flowers did a good job of masking most of it). We stayed in the Sheraton room. We were very impressed with the quality of the mattress, pillows and bedding. The room is on the central AC so it stayed very comfortable despite unusually high temperatures for May. There was even a box fan in the closet. (I prefer to sleep with a fan so that was a nice surprise). I highly recommend this property.

Our room was beautiful. The owners were amazing and very welcoming. Their new puppy was absolutely adorable and very friendly. I would highly recommend everyone to stay here

Note that breakfast was served in the main building, so you'll need to bundle up in winter. We would stay again.

T he breakfasts were outstanding and the outdoor spaces including a lovely fenced in garden with outdoor space heaters made it easy to stay socially distanced. Breakfast groups were also spaced well apart inside the Inn which is nicely located in Vergennes with beautiful vistas all around. Definitely recommend!

The Inn was very nice but unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy it because we had to leave so early the next morning. I would love to come back and spend more time there.

c (8/5): Convenient Location & Nice grounds - The carpet in our room could be updated, but I felt the room was clean and our beds were comfortable. One other improvement that could be made is that the shade on the window was a foot short from the bottom. So in the morning, it was a little bright. Hard for my hubby to fall back to sleep when he awoke early. A last concern would be if you are taller person. The room we had--victorian (chosen because it had a separate bedroom from the other twin bed & sitting area)-- had a slanted ceiling in the hall/closet area that you accessed the bathroom from. The sitting area and the twin bed were also in a room with the slanted ceiling. If you were tall, you might have an issue with bumping your head. The main bedroom had normal ceilings. The bathroom toilet and shower were in a closet sized room. I am not exaggerating. The sink was beside the "closet." I was okay with it, but others should just be aware. I was pleased that there was plenty of hot water for my shower. The breakfast that morning was scrambled eggs & an english muffin. They also have a little breakfast bar with yogurts, cereals and toppings. They offer juice, coffee, tea. Overall, I had a pleasant one night stay.
Liz (10/5): Superb location. Thoughtful innkeepers. - The innkeepers went above and beyond to help me address the angst of an overscheduled long weekend. Staying up late and creating a take-away breakfast were among the tasks that they carried out effortlessly. Fresh apples from the Inn's tree were amazing - crisp and tasty. The room I stayed in was in a small modern building - very quiet and well laid out. I think that the Inn is very beautiful and I hope to return.
