The fans in one of the rooms didn't work. They need to upgrade the TV. The aircons is pretty bad it's not cold in the room. Overall not what I expected.

Staff were very accommodating and always friendly * We had a 2seater sofa and no tables or chairs to sit and eat. * Our pillows were well and truely worn out. * No onsite parking, so we had to move the car every 3 hours to avoid parking fines.

- Melisa (10/5): - Maria was awesome. She was very friendly and very accommodating. The location was perfect, a walking distance to nearly everything for essentials and even leisure. Very close to the lagoon/pool, night market, Rusty's market, cairns lake central mall, cairns acquarium and so much more. The swimming pool was a plus for my hyperactive little one who loves swimming. I definitely will book the place again when in Cairns. Thank you Maria for your kindness🌹🩵

- Sandra (6/5): Close to town - Receptionist/manager was extremely helpful, and the beds were clean. Was close to town and the markets and shops were within walking distance Room was average, and there was no door on the 2nd bedroom, which did not provide any privacy for either myself or my daughter. The bathroom door and walls were dirty. Not enough cutlery, for the 2 of us. Bath towels were scratchy and thin, and the shower leaked and the shower door did not close properly.

- Jodie (6/5): - Stayed at this property with a 1 year old and the room was located on the top floor so had to climb 6 flights of stairs to go up or down. It was noisy as the sound echoed through the property so Friday and Saturday night was hard to sleep. The room was not clean to the point that we found contact lenses on the table, hair in the shower and our one year old was finding all sorts of gross stuff around the room. Positives were the price and size of the accomodation.

The TV didn't have many channels. We had planned to watch 2 games of footy, one on Friday night on channel 9 and one on saturday on channel 7 and we couldn't get either.

- Beverley (10/5): - Very central to everything. Train and big shopping centre only 10 minute walk. Woollies 5 minute walk. Waterfront less than 5 minutes. Heaps of eateries there. Even though we had late checkin (after 5pm) easy to get our key and gate code. Apartment had separate bedroom. Ensuite good size with walk-in shower. Nice hot shower.Kitchen has microwave, kettle, small fridge and few dishes. No cooking elements which we knew before we stayed. Maria very helpful and friendly. Good accommodation at reasonable price. Only downside was the towels very thin. Would stay there again.

- Consuelo (8/5): Good for a few nights - The room was very spacious and close to the city centre. The staff was very kind with letting us check in late and leave our luggage after checking out. There were no lifts in the building and no products left in the room.

The toilet did not have a toilet roll holder next to the WC and the roll had to be manually picked every time for a clean. The reception staff were helpful though when we contacted them to inform of our late arrival.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Spacious room, great location right in heart of CBD. Walkable to esplanade, lagoon and to local Woolworths. About 15 mins from airport with taxi. Room had mini fridge with tea/coffee/milk and a microwave. Easy checkin and was able to leave to leave our luggage after check out before taking ferry to next destination. Great value for money and super friendly and helpful staff.

- Miller (8/5): Cairns Central was very close to all my visited places. - I liked the central location. The hot water tap on the bathroom vanity leaked through the handle and ran onto the vanity and the floor. The second exhaust fan in the shower room was noisy and disturbing drumming.

Didn't see staff for the 3 days that were there, and when I rang the office to ask for fresh towels and some toilet rolls, the lady said the office was shut.
- Naomi (1/5): Bad - Location in the heart of the city Old Dark and dingy place, needs an update badly. Smell in rooms was putred. Small box AC did not cool down the room. Sheets are not clean. The kitchen ware not clean, towels are non existent they were that thin. There is no service over the weekend to top up amenities or get new towels. Staff told us we were being too loud at 6 pm, that guests were complaining. Overall, it was a bad experience.

The bathroom was clean just ran out of hot water early. Pool was beautiful and the staff exceptional. Just running out of hot water.

The room had an old school box air conditioner that was noisey n then kicked into even noisier each time the compressor set in. But, the beds were really comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Do you get what you pay for? $140 a night? I’d probably not stay here again unless they did some upgrades.
