• Emma (7/5): Over het algemeen aangenaal - Fijne manager, aangename douche, uitgebreide keuken. Airco in de kamer was heel luid en niet zo goed (had ook een vreemde geur). Vanuit een van de badkamers kwam een vreemd geluid na het douchen. Dit stoorde s’nachts heel erg. Er werd niet direct iets aan gedaan.

• Didier (10/5): - Personnel et responsable très sympathique et avenant pour tous soucis, ce qui a été le cas pour une chambre un peu bruyante donnant sur un boulevard. Ambiance jeune des backpackers. Proche du centre, des restaurants et du chemin très agréable longeant le mer. Les chambres avec toilettes sont toutes neuves. Comme c’est neuf, il manque des reposes bagages et dans la douche un repose savons, mais c’est sans doute un détail pour les routards et autres backpackers.

• Phoebe (8/5): Friendly hostel in a good location - The hostel was in a great location with the esplanade and shops/restaurants all on the doorstep. We were upgraded to a superior double room after having an issue with the room we originally booked and the room was perfect - comfy bed, spacious room and living area, and clean private bathroom. Zenon and the staff we came across were also all very friendly. Some areas around the hostel were quite basic and could do with being updated.
• Stella (9/5): Clean space with very friendly staff. - Clean, well-priced stay. First time ever in a motel, found the rooms quite comfortable. Decently quiet and dark. Some rooms are better than others, we tried two rooms and really liked the one that overlooked the street. Can be a little bit murky if hot humid day (fair enough).

• Giulia (6/5): Not friendly guests - The location was great. In a quiet street, but walking distance from the centre. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The only bathroom that I used during my stay was clean. The beds didn’t have their own lamps, so the big light stayed on until late. Make sure to bring an eye mask! The beds also didn’t have their own plugs for charging your phone and the air in the room was pretty stale. NO ONE said hello the whole time I was there. No one didn’t even turned towards me when I walked into the room. Such a strange vibe for a hostel. Only thing I can think of is that most people live there while working in Cairns, so are not interested in socialising.

• Elizabeth (10/5): - The position is opposite the coast right on the esplanade. It was quite quiet from early evening which when getting up early for full day activities was excellent. As an older than most (70 yrs physically ! but 20yrs mentally !! )backpaker I was concerned, but had absolutely no need to be.The staff were friendly and helpful.I arrived out of hours but had been told exactly what to do and how to locate my room key which worked like a dream. One night I had a nasty nose bleed, and found the next day I had been left a sympathetic message and fresh bedding.Thanks whoever did that it was very thoughtful. The Hostel has a kitchen, washroom with machines which need coins and of course an outside pool. All very clean and well looked after. I had to leave..

• Fenna (10/5): Ontzettend fijn en relaxt hostel met lieve mensen - De fijne relaxte sfeer en de ontzettend gastvrije en welkome familie en staf. Iedereen staat open voor een praatje, zijn behulpzaam en attent. We kregen een paar keer vers fruit van Julie en door de gastvrijheid van Zenon en de staf mochten we op de dag van vertrek nog veel langer blijven omdat onze vlucht pas in de avond zou gaan. Ontzettend bedankt! Jullie hebben er voor gezorgd dat we ons thuis voelden! Niets.
• Daphné (5/5): - Il y a deux grandes cuisines et une grande piscine et la cafétéria est grande. C’est pratique. On y fait plein de chouette rencontre Le lit superposé dans lequel j’ai dormi était très inconfortable. Il n’y avait même pas d’échelle pour monter, ce qui rendait l’accès compliqué et peu pratique. Mais surtout, le matelas était complètement affaissé, avec un véritable creux au milieu, probablement dû à l’usure. Résultat : mon corps n’était pas du tout soutenu correctement, avec la tête et le haut du corps relevés et le reste qui s’enfonçait. Dormir dans ces conditions était vraiment désagréable et loin d’être confortable.

The location was great, a quick easy walk to restaurants and the lagoon. My room was exceptionally clean and well maintained, the pool was a great perk and very clean. The kitchen area was well stocked and clean.

• Virginie (10/5): Très bon séjour pour visiter Cairns et alentours - Nous avons séjourné dans un des appartements qui vient d’être fait ou rénové. Le séjour a été très agréable. L’AC permet de trouver une température confortable. La télé permet de se connecter à Netflix. L’endroit est propre et le personnel est très sympa. On peut accéder à la cuisine commune si besoin. La chambre dispose d’un frigo et d’une bouilloire et on a apprécié avoir un peu de lait offert pour le thé. Le logement est plutôt bien situé dans Cairns, avec une station Beam pas trop loin, deux cafés à côté, et on peut marcher pour aller en ville (7-9min). Un détail: ce serait top de rajouter une table basse dans le salon. À défaut nous avons utilisé une des chaises de la terrasse. Sinon tout était très bien.

• EMIKO (9/5): 2階だと悩みますが、また絶対に泊まりたいとても良い宿です。 - 事前のメール問合せも親切でした。スタッフの皆さんはいつも笑顔でとても良い雰囲気でした。部屋はとても可愛く清潔で、共同キッチン・ランドリー・プールも全て快適に使えました。一階のレストランは飲み物だけ利用しましたがとても素敵な店員さんでした。 一つだけ大変だった事は、急な階段を登ってから入り口のドアだったので、重いスーツケースを持っているとかなり大変です。

Staff friendly and interested in their guests. Nice pool area, washing & drying facilities. Opposite Muddies cafe, beach park, 10 mins from the centre and marina. Nothing.
• Kassandra (10/5): Nice surprise - would recomend - Each bed had a shelf, lights electrical sockets and USB socket. Our 4 bedroom dorm had its own fridge /freezer (was spotless). Air con worked well. You are provided with towels - and they even offered a fresh one if needed. I had 2 large cubes for my things including 1 locked one - key provided. Plus other space to put your things - doesn’t feel cramped in room. Pool is as new as the pics! At first sight, it’s a bit rough around the edges.

Provided beach towels and shower towels, which was a surprise I thought hostel doesn’t provide any of these. Provided shower gels and shampoos conditioner. Got a clean swimming pool so good. Air con and fan in the room Each room has their own fridge which is clean!!! So your food won’t got missing! The food in Bugas cafe next door is good as well, drink is average. The sharing Kitchen have all you need, microwave, air fryer, cooking pan, forks, knifes, bowls, plates…… Not much, just the cooking pan is easy to stick(?)

• Marta (1/5): De los peores hostels en los que he estado - Buena ubicación, con sitio para aparcar gratis en la calle (en recepción te pueden indicar dónde) Había poquísimos enchufes, solo un baño para más de 12 personas y las literas son tan bajas que si estás en la cama de abajo no puedes ni sentarte en el colchón, es casi claustrofóbico. Me pareció tan incómodo todo que cancelé otra reserva que tenía unos días después.

• Elisabeth Roya (8/5): Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis - You have your own fridge in the bedroom. Thats a big plus!!! Never seen it before and so much better than a communal one! Big pool, 2 kitchen option, location is by the water so also perfect and the people working there are super cool! The upper bunkbend does have a "ladder" but thats just a small thing so i would always book here again

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, vor allem Zenon, der Boss, der sich um alles kümmert, ist unglaublich hilfsbereit und hat sein Herz auf rechtem Fleck! Nochmals vielen 💜-lichen Dank! Girl who checked me in seemed very confused and unsure what she was doing , took me to my room and then as I was leaving for the day she ran over to me panicked saying she had given the wrong bed number - very dramatic. Main guy was very friendly along with the maintenance man and the lady who checked me out. Thanks for a good stay

• Dominic (10/5): - Everything, the space is beautiful and very clean, calm and quiete with an amazingly friendly vibe. Rooms are lovely with cold AC and hot showers and the owner Zenon is so helpful, friendly and just generally really nice guy, and the hostel reflects that perfectly. 10/10 Nothing
