• Carolyn (10/5): A divine place to stay - A short walk away from busy Leura shops this peaceful accommodation feels more like a grand home. The huge ensuite with spa was a bonus. All the comforts without the busyness of hotels in the area. Ideal for a romantic stay over.

• GENMEI (8/5): - Too many guests, not enough tables for us to sit down and enjoy our breakfast. Very friendly staff, but apparently need more staff to serve guests in time.

• Andrew (10/5): True Boutique Bed and Breakfast stay! - This is a really adorable property and defines the word 'boutique hotel' in my mind. Staff members show that they genuinely care about your experience while staying there and made for a really nice and homey feel. In-room hot tubs are great, beds are very comfortable. Only minor downsides are that the temperature control is difficult in the older buildings (naturally) and the walls seemed a bit thin on some occasions. Overall, a lovely stay!

• Genevieve (10/5): - Loved our short stay at Bethany accomodating 3 adults (1 adult daughter). Cosy with a touch of luxe. Nice breakfast included. Lounge area was comfortable. All managers were friendly and helpful.
• Jane (4/5): - Upsetting that when i arrived they tried to put me in a room that was much smaller than the one i booked, they did finally give me the suite. However there were no toiletries or as advertised gowns, i asked and was told i would be provided with these but they did not turn up! Nicely renovated property, but the toilet was inside the precincts of the second bedroom! There were no doors between the bedrooms and no door for the bathroom. The restaurant (?) only had one set 3 course dinner for $70. However the included breakfast of muesli with yoghurt, pancake and fresh fruit was nice. The gardens are overgrown and totally unkempt in much need of TLC. Really disappointing for my 1st post COVID birthday expedition.
• Anita (6/5): - Property was clean. A little quirky with random shampoo and conditioner in shower like someone had left them there previously. Not as quiet as we had hoped. We could here people in the neighbouring two rooms.

When lockdown hit, they offered neither a refund, a credit or even a partial credit. Good to see community spirit is alive and well at Bethany Manor.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Disappointing experience - This booking was made after the first wave of covid-19 had passed and was a no refund policy which we understood. Owing to our concerns with the second upsurge in cases in Western Sydney we asked if the booking could be deferred to avoid risks for all concerned. Bookings in the covid-19 period have been honoured by reputable establishments and we would have been prepared to forego a nights cost. This was part of our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The proprietor was not at all understanding and refused. We would not recommend or book again here.
• KUNAL (8/5): cosy and comfy cottage style - Very different to a hotel accom. This was a more homely feel and cottage style. We did not have enough time to spend in accom but little time was well spent. Its awfully quiet, so if you are planning groups or parties, may be not. For us, as a couple we were happy. Breakfast was cooked with 2 options, pic below. Nice garden area. Sweet room and lounge and overall feel and look. Heating is nice, so don’t worry if you go in cold weather. The caretaker/host was very informative and sweet. Overall a pleasant stay.

He also gives great tips on hikes, restaurants etc. The rooms are immaculate, and the garden is gorgeous. We were very happy with our stay.

Our room had wine and champagne glasses, candles in the bathroom and lots of other lovely little touches that the owners had made. The main lounge room had freshly made cake and biscuits. Aaron gave us some great tips if where to visit. It really is a lovely place and the breakfast was amazing with lots of variety.
• Greg (10/5): - Bethany Manor was the perfect base for our visit to the Blue Mountains. The hosts were very gracious and provided personal attention to all their guests. The home cooked breakfast was delicious and the fresh baked fruit cake in the sitting room was a special treat.

• Carol (10/5): Quiet and comfortable B&B in Leura - We had a lovely stay here, even though just for one night. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet, and there was a verandah just outside the room to sit on with a cup of tea and piece of cake. Our host, Aaron, was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Parking was readily available. Located on the other side of the highway from The Mall shops etc., but just a 5 minute drive. Even though the highway was reasonably close, it was pretty quiet at night.

The rooms were spacious, everything being provided and extremely clean. We particularly enjoyed the delicious cooked breakfasts. The hospitality here is second to none and we’re already looking forward to another trip to the Blue Mountains. We highly recommend it.

Leura is beautiful, so the location was fantastic. The gardens at Bethany were gorgeous this Springtime. I also enjoyed the hot bath and fireplace within the room.
