- Yelena (6/5): - Walking distance to everything I needed. The sea food place to eat was not near. The bathroom and the room can be more clean (the toilets on the outside could be pee stain free). I like that the tea and coffee and sugar and sheets were avaliable and the laundry serves as well. The AC in April was not available, only a heater. I was disappointed about that. The front desk people are super helpful and nice.

Genel olarak temizlik fena sayılmaz , odalarda minibar yok , buzdolabı var.

Man tror att det finbs restaurang på hotellet men beställning kommer utifrån. I hissen står att restaurang finns på vån -2. Finns inga spädbarnsäng som det uppgee i info. Fick ont i rygg pg obekväm säng. Man slår fötterna/ben mot sängen hela tiden så ömma ben och fötter fick vi efter 5 nätter. Svårt att ta sig runt i staden med barnvagn. Långt ifrån alltt internationellt.

The house keeping is poor and the room was dirty and was not cleaned for the duration of my stay despite my request to do so. Strong unpleasant smell comes from the bath room. Brakfast is not included and no suger, water or tea provided in the room for period of stay but for the first day. Reception staff are friendly and welcoming if not for the poor house keeping and the poor state of the accommodation I would have enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

The carpet in the reception was that worn that You could not even see the pattern and coulours it once have had!! Every tv program was dubbed. And therefore no english channel.

Städning utförs endast på begäran av dig och görs grundligt och bra. Det bor supergulliga katter på hotellet och utanför. Många affärer och restauranger en kort promenad från hotellet. Sköna och mjuka sängar! Kan absolut tänka mig att bo här igen.

There was noise especially close to morning with doors opening and people walking across the corridor. Maybe some bit of sound proofing would help.

- REZA (8/5): Reza - hotel base in outscored on Istanbul a little bit far from main taksim squire but in 10 min walk there is bus station which can get you to Istanbul airport easy and metro bus to get you around , area is going thought re-generation phase so lot of building work , it seems area was industrial before this re-generation, but hotel is in good condition and there is set up shops and food places around it which open to late hours , it was farely priced .

There is also Havaist bus service cost 18 lira from Istanbul Airport. you will get out next stop and then you will walk to hotel 10 minutes

- sundowner (2/5): awful. Never again - One of the worst, in fact, worst hotel we stayed. Beds are really hard that you ache for weeks. Cleanliness needs improving. Once you are in the room, it has a sense of a cell although I haven’t been in one. Toilet flash refills take one hours so if you flash middle of the night you have a tune to enjoy which wasn’t that much of a deal because we couldn’t sleep due to beds anyways. Please pay little more and stay somewhere else. Remind you this one was quite expensive that’s why we chosed this one.

The beds were very, very hard. Little padding. Sufficient for us, as we were just passing through and only there for a few hours sleep. But Western folks may find the beds too hard to sleep on.

- Mike (8/5): One night at Grand Palace - we had lay over from Barcelona to LA in Istanbul, we stayed at Grand Palace for one night, hotel wasn't too bad, close to the airport, good breakfast and friendly staff, the location was not that great, lot of dirt, old and damaged building around it, the hotel itself is relatively new building, for one night, close to the airport and the price, I say diamond in the rough.
