• Abdulla (1/5): very very very bad hotel . its 1 stars hotel not 5 stars - to be frankly speaking only i like the location. and everything in the hotel is bad I arrived at the hotel at 8:30 PM on July 11th with my family after a long and exhausting trip. We were all very tired and looking forward to a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, our experience from the moment we entered the hotel was shockingly bad and absolutely not what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Upon arrival, I was surprised to see that there was only one staff member handling everything — check-in, baggage, housekeeping, etc. His name was Abdurahman, and sadly, his behavior was extremely unprofessional and rude. When I asked him for assistance with our luggage, his response was dismissive and unhelpful. He immediately questioned whether I even had a reservation. I showed him my booking, which was for 2 adults and 2 children, but he claimed it was only for 2 adults. I told him I was willing to pay any extra charges for the kids, but he refused to assist and told me to fix it through the booking platform, which wasn’t possible. After a long and unpleasant discussion — in front of my children, who witnessed his rude tone — he finally allowed me to pay the extra charges at the hotel, something he could have done from the beginning but chose not to. The lobby was in terrible condition — bags and egg cartons were scattered on the floor. supposed th were for breakfast, which was extremely unhygienic. I also noticed a small room in the lobby with the lights off, and when I asked if my family could sit and rest there while I handled the check-in, he smirked and said it’s only open when the bar is operating. Once we completed the stressful check-in, we were given a so-called “family suite” that was in very poor condition — dirty, poorly maintained, and even had insects inside. I have taken photos and will be uploading them here and on Google Maps so others are warned about the reality of this place. Although we had booked to stay from July 11 to 13, we only stayed one night and checked out the next morning because we could not tolerate the condition.
• Eman (10/5): Excellent location (2 min by walk to Nizami street) - Best hotel, comfortable and very kindly staff , and good position near center and nizami street , and they provide all thing you need, i really spend a very good time in Sapphire hotel. I will not change my this hotel in coming trips, thank you really for everything.Very clean hotel the staff are very friendly and the location excellent and the hotel is reasonably priced.I do recommend it to families and friends
• Sercan (9/5): The heart of baku - One of best hotels in Baku , excellent location , 2 min. walk to nezami street (the heart of baku). many restaurants, cafes, shopping ...... etc. the next side of the hotel a big street easy going outside or othe parts or the city. small lobby but warm welcoming from the excellent ; polite & smile staff, (they are chosen correctly - in high level working. rooms are huge , bathroom too , with nice & clean towels ; high level tualitica amenities in rooms. 2 complimentary bottles of water every day. breakfast is good (nice fresh items & special azarbeijan food ; eggs & pankace station (don't miss it - the mixed omlette). big value for small money Thanks to all staff - see you soon Nothing

• Abdul (10/5): Good Hotel - I stayed in this wonderful hotel. The room had all the amenities, a comfortable shower, toiletries, an iron, slippers. Comfortable beds and pillows. Cleaning and water delivery were done every day. Breakfasts (buffet) were delicious, filling and varied. The hotel is located next to the embankment and not far from the metro, so it was very convenient to travel. Many thanks to the hotel staff for our vacation, we liked everything. Nothing

• Gurjeet (6/5): It's Sapphire hotel and Restaurant. No Sapphire City hotel. Beware !!! - Rooms are big and clean and the restaurant staff is very good serving breakfast. Supplies are available and the room is cleaned every day without any issues. The hotel's location is difficult to find and is listed incorrectly on Google maps. It's a run down hotel with very few customers. Front office staff don't smile and there is no bell desk after 6 pm and before 10 am. No service quality at all. Restaurant is closed after breakfast. No room service available. Little far (around 500 metres) from Nizami street in a dark lane. We had booked for 4 days and we were one of the 3 customers staying in the entire hotel. Lights are switched off most of the time in the main lobby. Travellers always confuse this hotel with another hotel on Nizami street called Sapphire city hotel. Even we booked this one thinking it was the other hotel.

• Nada (1/5): They take my money without staying, however they change and make this booking under my name - I don’t stay on this hotel and they make the booking and deduct the money from my card. I am tried a lot to refund it with booking help but they don’t help me and they don’t have plan B for like this action to refund the fees back if the hotel doesn’t respond or not coordinates well! The service and the customer service in the reception. Also, they don’t reply to the emails or calls from my side or booking side!

The Managers were very helpful especially Mr. Abdur Rehman and Aida. I reached early morning to hotel and requested for an early check in and Mr. Abdur Rehman checked me in at 9 am. Over all highly recommended for visitors who want to explore this city.

• Mohamed (6/5): "5-star" is a scam, it's 3-star at best! - + Very nice staff, especially Abdulrahman. + Good location. - customer service is useless, the reception never picks up the phone. - the hotel is very old and very dirty, the room furniture looks so bad. - the internet is so slow that u can't do anything useful with it. - the room lacks many basic items, like a tissue box, notepad and a pen, etc... - the beddings are a disgrace! You can barely cover yourself with them! - at check out the staff will almost force you to write a good review BEFORE you leave, so they make sure the ratings stay high!
• Ashley (1/5): This hotel is a scam! - Nothing, this hotel is a scam, nothing like it’s advertised on the internet. They scam your money. They purposely told me that none of my credit cards worked so they could force me to pay cash. There was no blanket in the room and room was not clean. I tried to complain to the manager and he couldn’t care less. It was a terrible experience.
