So many Supermarkets in the city shout down after COVID-19. Employees seem not familiar to process checking in for travelers of overseas. I booked 6 nights on websites . I was told there were no south window room because people coming for meeting. I was sent to a room with three big windows towards northwest corner. I walked away and requested for refund. I back to US yesterday, it has been 10days haven’t received refund yet. They took a few seconds to charge, taking unlimited time to return.

- Allen (8/5): Decent hotel at decent price - Service was adequate for a 3.2 star rating. The room was small so we asked for a larger room. A larger room was provided at additional reasonable cost. The generally Chinese style breakfast was good. Overall this stay was good except they did not provide bottle water during one day' but upon call' 4 bottles were brought up in 5 minutes. Overall satisfied with this stay. This is my second stay at this hotel within past two years. I recommend this hotel to others wanting a safe comfortable hotel without any fancy amenities. I will stay here again in future.
- Megabruno1994 (10/5): Nice Business Hotel - Location is the biggest thing that makes me stay here every time. Rooms are above standard, however overall design is mediocre. Staff service is mostly prompt and personalised, laundry facilities are on site and very convenient. The hotel is missing a proper dining outlet, however in close proximity there are many good food options. The HIX suites are absolute bargains though, at a more than reasonable price point I will say they are the most attractive rooms in the area - until the MEA next door opens next year I guess...

- Charles C (6/5): Clean. Next to Carrefour and many restaurants - Part of the hotel was under renovation so it was noisy during the day. The room temperature felt warm. Couldn't open the window and AC wasn't working (only air and no cold air). I think the hotel had the heater on. Breakfast was average. If you're tired of it there is a Macdonald's and Pizza Hut just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Just beside the hotel there is a Carrefour and a few restaurants which was very convenient.

- udamamo (6/5): - 立地は高鉄、地下鉄の瀋陽北駅から徒歩7分、空港からのリムジンパス乗場にも近くて便利な場所にあります。すぐ隣がスーパー、ホテルの向かい側にコンビニがあり、便利な場所です。ただし、観光地が中街にたくさんあるので、観光中心の方には向かないかもしれません。ホテルは内装的にも綺麗なホテルではありましたが、シャワーの水が少ししか出なくて最悪の部屋でした。(729号室です。)それ以外は問題ないホテルでした。朝食も種類が多く、美味しかったです。

- カズ (10/5): おすすめホテルです。 - 今回、2度目の利用です。月一で瀋陽に行きますので、常宿にする予定です。駅から歩いても、苦にならない、便利な場所に有ります。ショッピングセンターが近くに有り何かと便利ですよ。シャワーの勢いがもう少し強いと、申し分ありません。朝食もなかなか美味しいし、品数も十分です。

An American was asking for syrup for his French Toast but all they could offer was honey. But there is a good mixture of vegetables, porridge & ham. Staff are very helpful & friendly.

- touchdownjj (6/5): It's becoming an average hotel - The hotel had a planned water pipe fix service during my stay, But, it did not went as scheduled during middle of the night, but, instead, took place on a Saturday morning, the hotel was without any water for almost the entire morning. Although the hotel managed to make up by providing bottle water, but, a lacking of water, was a major inconvenience. The location is still good, where Carrfour is a short walk away. The TV programs offer plenty of international channels, which is great for international travelers. The breakfast is still FREE and plenty to choose from.

In room dining arranged 3 beer cans (warm) on request. As I am IGH reward member. No in room dining was available after 10 PM. So, I stayed without food, as I arrived at 12-30 midnight. Breakfast have no real juice. Fruits are limited. No one understand english properly. I asked for salt and till end of breakfast it never reached. Breakfast is horrible. Do not match with IGH standard.

The room was very comfortable (and a bonus of a few English channels!). It was close to a Carrefour, and convenient to numerous bus stops taking you all over the City. I would definitely recommend this hotel for good value and good location!

- Brezo_R (6/5): Short stay is enough - Just came back from a short trip to Shenyang where we choose this hotel.Being used to Holiday Inn it's right to say that we already know what we find.The room and bathroom were ok, clean but some amenities missing like the small fridge and iron.Location is good, the hotel is on a quiet street, next to it you have a supermarket and also some small restaurants.Breakfast was with enough choices and WIFI was working properlyt.Not far from the city attraction, but still you need to take a taxi.The downside of the trip was the service from the staff.Despite the fact that they can barely speak English, any requests coming from us were treated with no help or compromise without any explanation.My opinion is that they should really improve their customer service.This being said we will not book another time this hotel since there are a lot of places to choose from in Shenyang
- Tom (4/5): Dumped - My flight was delayed out of the United States so I attempted to check in 1 day late but had paid for the whole stay. The hotel cancelled my entire reservation and did not even initiate a refund. Expedia took care of me but I found this sort of ridiculous. If I pay for a room, that is it, its mine whether I show up or not.
- chengbo (8/5): Great family stay - Recently spent 4 days in the suite. We are a family of 3 with an infant. This was one of the only hotel I could find that provided crib. The location is great. It's near the central north station. But just far enough away and on a small side street that you get a fair amount of peace and quiet. Room was quite sizeable, the king bed though was two twins bound together. There was both a tub and a shower. Breakfast selection was amazing. Mainly features Chinese style items (congee and side dishes but had western things too like cereal) there was a egg station where they made it to order. In my opinion although a good place to stay if you are used to international standards.
- Michael (10/5): Short stay at a nice hotel - We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Shenyang North Bus Terminal, as we were aiming to catch an early morning bus to Ji'an the next day. We arrived at 4am and had to leave by 9am, so not a lot of time to experience this hotel. It was a comfortable stay at a nice, reasonably priced hotel that has a decent breakfast selection.
- Mszeb (10/5): Excellent Hotlel, Excellent staff! - We recently spent 3 weeks here and it was excellent. All the staff were brilliant and especially Rassian who always went that extra mile! Thank you! 10/10 for everything and we will definitely be back! Zeba & Muhammad Shoaib
- tonygR7412HJ (8/5): Good lacation, decent value - This new Holiday Inn Express is about a good 10 minute walk from the North Station but for me it is around the corner when I visit our office in Shenyang. Beside the Carrefour plaza, there are many choices to eat and shop. Among these places are a Pizza Hut, McDonald's and Subway plus many local eateries. It is tucked away from Beizhan Lu so make sure you download the address and name in zhongwen as many taxi drivers don't know this place. The breakfast is more Chinese than western but you will not starve as you can always find something decent to eat there. The rooms are clean but ask for the biggest room as the small ones are small. The service is good albeit English is not widely spoken but you get by. There are a few western channels on TV and there is an actual coin laundry on site so if you need to wash a few things, it is convenient. This place is good for a few days but longer term I like something more upscale but for the money, it is decent value.
- Peter (6/5): Bathroom - Workmanship in the bathroom is not good. You can see the seal between floor and wall did not cover the rusts. The worker did not prepare the cleanness, dryness before apply the white seal so the rusts come out. When you look at it, you feel bad.
- w1llesden (10/5): Great hotel - Stayed here recently on a trip to Shenyang with my wife and really enjoyed everything about the hotel....great breakfast, the best yet (probably because of the many western options available - and the best coffee in Shenyang) ... we liked the hotel so much we have booked to return in a couple of days
- thelonious22 (10/5): Great stay! - I rewarded myself with a night at the newly built Shenyang North Station branch of Holiday Inn Express. Brand spanking new, it was so worth paying the extra few bucks to stay at a Chinese hotel where everything functioned properly, staff spoke few words of English, things weren't covered in dust and cobwebs, and most things at the breakfast buffet were identifiable.
- Joseph (10/5): Overall Great Hotel! - This hotel exceeding my expectations in every category. The location is nice, with a quick walk to a subway stop and train station. The room was very large, modern, clean, and well kept; better than I expected for a 3.5 star, honestly. The included breakfast was 100% worth it, and I wished I could have taken it with me to the other hotels on my trip.

- touchdownjj (8/5): Conveniently Located, Nice Business Hotel - This hotel is located across the street from the Carrefour, and in a small and quiet side street, away from the main streets. Its a small hotel, the lobby as well as the breakfast are all located on the 4th floor. The hotel is brand new, decor is simple, clean, and comfortable. The room is a bit on the small side, but, acceptable. There is free Wifi throughout, and a good few English language movie and news channels to watch. The FREE breakfast is pretty good quality, considering its free. There is an egg station, as well as wonton soup station. You'll find both the Chinese and Western style selections, including salad, chicken nuggets, or congee. It's nice, they have a coffe machine, and offers expresso, latte as well. As a business traveller, that looks for good price/performance hotel, that the facility and the service meets the International standard, and is quiet, and comfortable. This is what you can expect at this Holiday Inn Express.
- sy (8/5): Super market and fast food next to Hotel. - Public transport near to Hotel, can get to attractions easily. Fast food and super mart next to it makes it even better. The free breakfast is not great, minimal changes to our 7 days stay. No swimming pool nor gym on this facility but the self service washing machine in this hotel a plus.
- David (10/5): Great stay, but ask for a/c at night - Wonderful hotel in a convenient location. I will stay again. Only negative was that they turn the a/c off after 6pm and don't turn it back on til about 8am. Our room was sweltering, but the staff said they can have individual rooms left on during the night if requested.
- Nat (10/5): What more could I want - Not only was this the cleanest hotel that I have ever been in, but it was the best. I was greeted everyday like I was an important person. I was asked if I needed anything every time that I met any of the staff. The facilities were great. The food was excellent. I had excellent meals. Prices were reasonable. It was a great feeling of being a VIP.
