• Sabine (5/5): - Schöne Lage! Schlechter Service, nie war jemand zu sehen, der irgendwas gemacht hätte in der Anlage, schlecht gereinigt auch vei Ankunft. Bin in Glasscherbe getreten, die vorher nicht entfernt wurde. Keine Reinigung in 14 Tagen,. Sehr kalt, da Fenster und Türen so durchlässig, dass man Finger durchscheinend kinnte. Küchenausstattung mehr als dürftig.

• Maree (5/5): Amazing host, but for the price the villa is not up to a standard I would expect. - The villa was a great size. And our host Lourdes was fantastic. Location is good in Puerto Calero near the supermarket and restaurants. Unfortunately the property needs updated. It is a nice sized villa, but needs attention. It would be great if furniture was updated. It was very cold , no heating or heaters provided and the bath in en suite is rusty. The patio door leaked in the main bedroom when it rained. Also not really enough chairs inside for 5 people and minimal kitchen items although enough. The pool is freezing and did not get the sun at all due to raised area at end of pool. If all these issues were addressed it has the potential to be lovely.

À 5 minutes à pieds de la marina de puerto calero (10 minutes au retour pour remonter la côte 😜) et à 3 minutes à pieds d’un supermarché très bien achalandé. Villa très spacieuse et conforme à la description. Lits confortables. Jolie piscine mais pas chauffée donc très froide pour se baigner fin décembre. Belle vue de la terrasse sur les montagnes. On a pu profiter de notre terrasse de beaux couchers de soleil et surtout du feu d’artifice du nouvel an tiré à minuit. La propriétaire était très gentille et arrangeante sur les horaires du check out. Puerto calero est idéalement situé pour visiter l’île (max 40 minutes de voiture pour aller en visite) Je recommande ce logement. Manque d’équipements et d’ustensiles de cuisine. Et aucun produit type sel/poivre. Juste du produit vaisselle et une éponge.

• Keith (10/5): Brilliant - Fabulous host who met us and showed us around. We love Callero and the villa is very central to the marina and restaurants and only a sixty second walk to a large supermarket. The villa is lovely and quiet and really outstanding. Couldn’t find anything.

• Belen (9/5): Nos ha encantado la isla la casa y nos han tratado fenomenal. - La villa amplia, limpia, camas grandes y muy cómodas. Servicio de limpieza. Piscina impecable. Detalle de dejarnos cosas para desayunar porque llegamos tarde. Poco menaje, no había ventiladores y tuvimos que pedir porque nos tocó ola de calor 3 días. (Nos los pusieron enseguida) Almohadas mejorables.

Bien ubicado en una zona la de isla perfecta para poder hacer visitas a los lugares emblemáticos de Lanzarote. Lourdes, la anfitriona, hizo todo cómodo y fácil. Sin duda un lugar para repetir.

• Noel (7/5): Enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back - could do with some updating though! - No 2 - 3 bedroom villa on ground floor - Great location - very quiet and private less than 10 minutes walk to all the restaurants and bars at the marina. Very spacious villa with exceptionally comfortable beds. Big outside area with sun loungers plus table and chairs. Towels provided both inside and outside. Good wi fi. Easy parking. Friendly and helpful host. Slippery shower tiles. Tired decor and some furniture, lighting generally poor. Lacking in some cooking utensils. No soaps or shampoos other that a bottle of washing up liquid! No information pack/instructions about the property or surrounding area/Lanzarote in general. No welcome pack with a few basics. None of which detracted hugely from our stay, so minor gripes really.

• Stephen (8/5): Another lovely pleasant stay in Lanzarote - Nice villa located on a quiet street , just a 10 minute stroll down to the marina where all the shops ,bars , cafes and restaurants are located . We have stayed at Calero many times and although the area is only small it is just so pleasant to stroll around especially on a evening. Nothing we didn't particularly dislike , like most holiday accommodation just looked a little tired something that could easily be rectified , a welcome pack of some sort would have been nice , once unpacked our first job was to go down to the local supermarket to buy some basic items .

• Ian (10/5): Lovely relaxing stay - Was a lovely clean and comfortable villa,really good location a little hilly but we knew that and didn't find it a problem ,everything there that you needed ,Lourdes the owner lives on the complex so is always on hand if you need anything the complex consists of six villas all with own private swimming pool and all amenities ie towels, bed linen, iron A little supermarket in the marina for essentials,otherwise you have to go into puerta del carmen , a large supermarket being built at end of road so will be even better Would definitely return No air-conditioning or fans ,and pool could do with being slightly heated(as exceptionally cold) but managed fine

When we arrived the property was absolutely spotless. The gates grounds are immaculate. The property is very quiet and private. The lack of air conditioning was very difficult in August. The property is dated and no cleaning products were supplied. The pool has a very high level of chlorine which affected the children’s skin so we couldn’t let them in it after a few days which was disappointing

Fabulous size apartment and very private. Could be a fantastic apartment. Outside utility area and pool area a great space but if more than 4 staying there would need more chairs and outside seating. The property is dated and needs modernising. Seating area in lounge very uncomfortable. Lack of lamps in bedrooms and lounge. Electrical sockets concealed and loose and en-suite shower not working properly and other bathroom shower very slippy. A welcome pack/starter pack should be provided. Crockery and cutlery very limited and poor quality
• Daniel (8/5): An excellent property in a good location. The hosts were very efficient and friendly. -
• Barry (8/5): Very pleasant villa, not too far from shop and restaurants, and a friendly host. - The villa is spacious, with a large living space and good-sized bedrooms. The pool area is lovely, and the road outside was very quiet. Parking is easy just outside the villa complex. The local supermarket stays open until 8:00 in the evening and has pretty much all the basics you are likely to need. We would have appreciated a welcome pack of some sort on arrival - perhaps some coffee, biscuits and milk, especially if arriving, as we did, late in the evening when the local shop had closed. It would also be helpful if washing-up liquid was supplied, and perhaps some liquid hand-wash in the bathrooms. The villa is situated up a hill from the restaurants and marina, and we found it easier to use our hire-car to access the facilities, due to reduced mobility. If you're fit enough, it's only a 15-minute walk back up the hill (10 minutes to get down!).

Staff. Lovely bed/bedding comfortable. Washing machine & hairdryers were a bonus. Great to have bath & hand towels supplied. Cleaner lovely & Lourdes our host was exceptional. Would definitely go back again. Pool a bit too cold (end of January) still managed a length or two. Shower great. Rusty plug in bath.

• Tricia (8/5): Very good - Great location - ten minutes walk from the marina. Spacious, clean and airy accommodation on two levels (two of us in a two-bedroom villa) with two patios so you could follow the sun throughout the day. Sunset views from the top patio were fantastic. Owner Lourdes was a great communicator and met us at the property. She was friendly and helpful. We had a late afternoon flight home so she kindly allowed us to check out later (12 instead of 10) which meant we had a more relaxing departure day. Very accommodating. A minor gripe - the property has a small external fixed airer, which is great, but as cyclists we had a lot of laundry to dry and an additional freestanding one would be a bonus so you could move it indoors at night.

• Keith (8/5): Very enjoyable holiday. - The location was quiet and relaxing. The property has a good view (villa 7) and is well set out. There is a traditional Spanish feel to the property. The bedding was changed half way through a two week holiday and the towels three times. The pool filter was very noisy through the night. There were cobwebs on the chair legs and the settees were uncomfortable for a prolonged period. The TV only had one useful channel.

Very welcoming host and they were always available to help and answer any questions. Very lovely people indeed. The villas are self-catering so we got to go out and try different restaurants along the Puerto Calero marina and in Puerto Carmen. Other than being up a steep hill from the beach (in which everywhere is), Nothing, everything was great.

• Sandra (8/5): Nice spacious comfortable villa, unfortunately it was a bit run down and could do with a bit of renovation - lovely spacious property with reasonable facilities The owners were not around much and we had to ask for the pool to be cleaned after we had been there over a week
• Amanda (7/5): Ok but could be so much better - The property is a ten minute walk from the centre of Puerto calero, the last part of the hill is very steep. Taxis are available a quarter of the way up the hill, but often a long wait and non at all on several occasions. There is a lot of internal and external space with views of the mountains and sea in the distance (apartment 8) Excellent WiFi in every room. Despite it being on the confirmation and promised at check in we did not receive any replacement towels or sheets nor was the apartment cleaned during our weeks stay, we never saw anyone to chase this up. There is no heating and it was very cold the whole time we were there. We felt while the apartment and terraces were nice they were desperately in need of an upgrade. The metal sink in the downstairs bathroom was very industrial looking and the shower in the upstairs bathroom was too high with a very poor flow of water. The bedding and many of the utensils were poor quality and well worn. Many of the light fittings had bulbs missing and the ones that were there didn’t match. There was lots of outdoor furniture but it was all old and tatty looking. Without a tremendous amount of expense and effort the apartment could be improved and upgraded to a much higher standard.

• Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Lourdes was a lovely helpful host.The location was quiet, and a short walk from the harbour shops and restaurants. We loved the private area and pool.The villa had all the facilities required for a comfortable and self-sufficient stay.Good WIFI also.
• Tracey (10/5): Fabulous holiday - Everything perfect for my 60th birthday couldn't have asked for any more Really picky but the kettle and microwave could do with replacing past there best but nothing to complain about
