- giuseppe (6/5): Ottima posizione - Sono stato vari giorni a Santiago per necessità Mi si è rotta la macchina Tutto è andato benissimo Due soli nei: 1) la presenza di formiche dappertutto persino sui tavoli del ristorante Nei contenitori dello zucchero Dovunque 2) l'atteggiamento della titolare ,fino a quel momento gentilissima e disponibile,a questa mia legittima osservazione. Cosa che mi ha costretto,permanendo la necessità mia di fermarmi a Santiago,a cambiare hotel. Per riassumere: tutto rovinato dall'atteggiamento supponente della titolare.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Decent room for short stay - All good, clean room with good breakfast. The only thing I didn't like was that my bedroom and toilet was separate. This meant walking past reception just to use toilete bathroom. Not sure if all rooms are like this but otherwise was good for the money we paid. Also you will be very close to everything.

- Stephen (10/5): An absolute gem! - Via Emilia was excellent! Peaceful, clean, well-appointed, great food, and great neighborhood. If you want a place close to the nightlife and action, this might not be the best, but if you want a lovely, tranquil place to rest and relax after a day of business or site-seeing, this is the place. A $4 taxi ride will get you to most of the main areas/attractions in Santiago.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It's a perfect B&B. Just be aware that there are only four rooms so booking early is a must. Not only is the place charming, and the owner fantastic, but the location is perfect. Within just a few blocks easy walk you have ice cream shops, cafes, supermarket, ATMs, restaurants, and a great spa. "Concho" (automobile-buses) routes on the corner whisk you away to downtown in minutes for 25 pesos and an Uber ride will get you to most places in short order.

- Stephanie (8/5): Cute & Convenient - Via Emelia is a gem! Located about 20 minutes from the airport and within the downtown area. They were kind enough to check me in at 3 in the morning! Also very prompt with communication. The continental breakfast they provide is a nice touch. Great value for the price!

- Javier (6/5): Ok hotel for one night not for long staying - Nice people, clean room but not comfortable for long term staying, good size closet but not hangers, good size room and bed but not dressers or anything to acomodate belonging, not a cooler or mini refrigerator in the room and it is prohibited 🚫 eat in the room, not parking space have to park out at the street. If you’re just passing by is ok, but i will not recommend it for more than that.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Happy guest - My friend and I needed a place to stay for one night only. Upon reading mostly great reviews of this place and for the price listed, I decided to book here. Via Emília is found in a residential area. Although it was easy to get there, we had a bit of a hard time at night identifying the place since there is no sign that says Via Emília. We had to base ourselves on the picture we saw on hotels.com. But overall, my friend and I were very pleased with the excellent customer service and the friendliness of the owner and the security guard. The room was a decent size, clean and comfortable. We had a separate restroom located next to the lobby desk. Although our stay was brief, we enjoyed it and would recommend Via Emília to others.
- c (10/5): Nice quaint bed and breakfast. - I would certainly recommend for a quick stay in Santiago. Very clean and very secure. Alex made me feel welcomed and shared some good advice. The continental breakfast was good too!
- Alex (6/5): A house with 4 bed rooms - This is a house with 4 bed rooms ...is a quiet area ....if your intentions are to party this is not the place to do it....i had no internet for 3 days .....the owner lied to me telling me that it's the internet company's fault....come to find out ..this lady (the owner)did not want to fix the internet)

Everything with Via Emilia is right.I wish that other people had that standard.A supermarket is nearby. Transport is no problem.The Leon Arts Centre is within walking distance.This lovely place should be an example to all and sundry - this is how you look after guests !

- David (10/5): Excellent Cozy Place - This was a great choice. My wife and I spent only one night at Santiago due to our trip schedule, but we made the right decision. The place is super cozy, familiar, super clean and very tranquil/quiet. After spending the whole day in the busy city of Santiago, it's nice to have a place like this to rest. Breakast was excellent (continental included). We were not able to meet the owner (bummer), which we had good reference of, but there was Lucy who was more than a good host. She received us, showed us around the place and served breakfast in the morning as well. She was very attentive and even recommended some places to visit in the area (which is very close to everything). Fully recommended!

- Brian (8/5): Thank You Alex - I was new to Santiago and stayed here the night before my flight. I had a rental car and got lost trying to find my way to the hotel. I called Alex and he drove to get me and escort me to the property. Also, the early morning of my flight, Alex also assisted me in getting to the airport. The property is clean and comfortable, however Alex went over and above to help me in my times of need. Because of Alex, I recommend staying at his hotel and I will surely do so again if I am in Santiago. Thanks Alex.

Alex is a very accommodating host and speaks English too. Very quiet and safe neighborhood - I will stay again whenever I'm passing through Santiago
