Guest Reviews
- Yosemite1234 (10/5): Excellent location - Excellent location with views of St Michael’s Mountain. Really good car pork at the rear of the property. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The food is great quality and value for money. Great quest lounge are which was bright no relaxing. 10/10
- Nicola (10/5): Lovely stay with super friendly staff - Fabulous location with lovely views. The room we had was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The lady that checked us in was super friendly and made our night by arranging fish and chips made from the restaurant in takeaway boxes, so we could take them to the beach, to watch the sunset with them, and they were amazing.
- Isobel (7/5): - Clean, tidy, good location My room had a funny smell
- Alan (10/5): -
- Michael (8/5): Great location for a one night stay. - Great location, off street parking, nice restaurant on site and lovely staff. The mattress was very hard and therefore was not a restful nights sleep. Pillows were like pancakes. A fluffy mattress topper and quality pillows would have made all the difference.
- Chris (9/5): Quaint cottage-style stay with a beautiful view of St Michael’s Mount. - Wonderful cottage-style hotel with excellent view and tasteful decor. Was a bit of a challenge hauling our heavy luggage up and down the stairs.
- Rogerson (9/5): Excellent Hotel in Marazion - Location, free parking, friendly staff, excellent breakfast Hard to think of anything other than usual moan for me in all hotels - duvet too thick.
- bradders99 (10/5): Absolutely top quality! - From the moment we arrived at the Marazion Hotel, we were treated so incredibly well. The team are so friendly and welcoming and made our stay so much more special. There's such a relaxed family feel but that doesn't compromise the outstanding quality. The rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you could wish for. A good sized room, comfy king size bed, a well stocked tea tray with local beverages, fresh cow's milk and biscuits, 50" television and plenty of sockets and USB points. The bathroom was modern too with a fantastic power shower. Everything was spotlessly clean and such a credit to the considerate housekeeping team. Service in the restaurant too was just fabulous. The menu - much of it supplied by local businesses including fresh fish - was comprehensive, the food was piping hot and just delicious. All served and presented as well as any 5 star establishment. Pretty much the entire menu was also either gluten free or had gluten free options - a real bonus when one of your party is coeliac. A huge thank you to everyone. This has to be one of the best experiences at a hotel we have had - simply first class!
- Stephen (10/5): Beautiful property, great staff, fantastic stay. - Really lovely character property in great location. Old building but contemporary in style. Staff were amazing and so welcoming, we were staying due to very difficult personal circumstances and the staff made us feel very well cared for.
- Bret (10/5): Magic! - Location was perfect for visiting St Michael’s Mount - right across from the sand and many great views from the rooms and common areas. Hotel was cozy and impeccably clean. Very noticeable compared to the chain accommodations these days. All staff were warm and helpful, who also were happy to arrange transportation on my behalf. Breakfast was HOT with multiple options offered standard, and the attached restaurant was inviting with lots of Cornish flavor for dinner and drinks. Not a thing. If you are looking to visit St Michael’s Mount, experience some Cornwall beaches, and splurge a bit - this is a lovely option. Only wish that I could have visited in peak summer. Can’t wait to come back!
- Ian (10/5): -
- Ebru (10/5): - Everything was perfect. The staff were very polite. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.
- Arthur (10/5): Excellent - We had an excellent stay at the hotel. We stayed there for 2 nights. Breakfast and dinner are very good. Staff is very friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant twice. The room was clean and met all expectations. The hotel is located on a main road, but we had a room at the back and that was very quiet. The location is ideal. Good parking. In short, highly recommended. Nothing.
- alfonso (10/5): Molto piacevole - Posizione e struttura !!Personale molto carino e disponibile !!
- jonathansV5185WB (10/5): Fantastic stay in Marazion - Great location, lovely large comfy room, staff were all excellent great hospitality, the restaurant was also superb, great food breakfast and dinner, definitely the best one in Marazion… highly recommended
- 787ladyjane (10/5): Excellent - After a day at St Michael’s mount, called in around 4.30 on the off chance as we had not booked. We were a party of 10, a mix of adults, children and a baby.we decided to have a drink and wait for the Dinner service to commence at 5pm. They accommodated us at a lovely table. We had brought a birthday cake
with us. We all enjoyed a lovely meal. They bought out the cake with candles (which I had forgotten) and everyone sang happy birthday. Created special memories , definitely recommend and will be visiting again.
- Jonathan (10/5): Fantastic stay we will be back… - Great location, lovely large comfy room, staff were all excellent great hospitality, the restaurant was also superb, great food breakfast and dinner, definitely the best one in Marazion… highly recommended…

- T6950BTjasonp (10/5): Time away from children. - Had a lovely three night stay in March just my wife and I.
We couldn’t fault the hotel, it was everything we had hoped for.
The Cutty Sark restaurant served lovely food and could cater for my many food allergies.
The free parking was a bonus, the staff were friendly and we slept well.
Would definitely recommend the hotel. 10/10
- Perks12 (10/5): Fabulous place to stay - My husband and I had a great stay at the lovely hotel in Marazion. Fab location, parking, friendly staff, comfortable room and brilliant shower. We had 3 relaxing days and nights here which was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, fresh, well appointed decor, comfy bed and pillows. Lovely breakfast and accommodated my husband’s allergies really well going over and above to make sure he had something tasty. Cannot fault it at all - the perfect little getaway thank you so much

- sarahcV7706WH (10/5): Birthday celebration stay - We are quite local but stayed here as a large family group for a birthday celebration. What a wonderful hotel and restaurant experience. As a couple we booked a sea view room which gave us a beautiful view of the Mount. We all had a fabulous evening meal in the restaurant, the staff were fabulous, friendly, attentive and engaged. The food was top quality local ingredients. Finished with a very good quality breakfast the next day! Thank you to everyone for making our stay so welcoming and pleasurable.
- Stephen (9/5): We really enjoyed ourselves - Well presented and fitting for the location Nothing
- Nicola (10/5): - Friendly staff, room was very comfortable with fantastic view. Food was great with lots of choice Nothing
- Michael (10/5): Great hotel, location with super food and pub options. - Great location and staff, historic building with beautiful renovation, delicious attached restaurant and cozy pub, private free on site parking, direct view of St. Michael’s Mont featured in the Game of Thrones prequel, easy access to southern Cornwall cities and sites. Liked it all!
- Hall (10/5): Perfect - Everything
- Pauline (9/5): We’ll come again! - Location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit. Lovely breakfast served us by cheerful and attentive staff. Nothing, although next time we would bring our own softer pillows!
- Olena (10/5): - A wonderful hotel with perfectly clean and comfortable rooms. Views of the sea and castle from the window. The staff and breakfast were simply superb.
- Pankaj (9/5): -
- anna (9/5): Great hotel , worth paying for the seaview - Beautiful room, lovely staff, great shower and omg the bed was so comfy!
Really well equipped room,,all the extras on the tea tray that make the difference. Lovely guest lounge. Great view. Good parking.
Bed was the best thing though, after a week on an awful mattress in a holiday cottage it was a blessed relief to sleep in such a good quality bed. I have a back injury, so for me a firm mattress that supports my spine is a game changer. If you like a soft saggy springy mattress you wont like it!
Ate one evening in restaurant, food was very good, the evening chef really understands flavour, good portions too and lovely service. Beautiful comfortable restaurant. Breakfast was a mixed bag. Continental was good, fresh and ample. Cooked brekkie was disappointing after the high quality food during evening service. The mushrooms and poached eggs were great, but let down by tasteless underipe tomatoes, bland beans, average bread and a very 80's veggie sausage! Such good veggie sausages available now, please try something like Cauldron sausages!
Decide to skip it the next day and had scrambled eggs on toast instead, these eggs were delicious, with really good flavour.
I dont think I would have been disappointed if the evening meal hadn't been so very good, it set the bar really high!
- Susan (10/5): - Friendly service. We were upgraded to a seaview which was lovely. Excellent food in the restaurant. Loved the night lights in the bathroom. I was really happy with everything.
- Simon (9/5): Excellent team - thank you -
- AbigailEMG (7/5): Great location for visiting St Michael's Mount - Staff were really friendly, great location for visiting St Michael's Mount Could only leave car parked in hotel car park between check in and check out due to limited space
- Phil (10/5): Great hotel in a lovely location. - Excellent hotel our third visit. Staff are lovely, very attentive and welcoming. Hotel is really clean and in good order, lounge area is lovely to sit in and have a game. Food is excellent, Sunday roast is fabulous as is the breakfast . Free parking on site. We will be back for a fourth visit, great place to stay. Nothing, it ticks all the boxes.
- Colin (9/5): -
- Wurzrat2 (10/5): Comfortable like home! - We love it here! We’ve been back many times! Small hotel. Beautifully decorated. Always a warm welcome. Rooms are spotless, bright and comfortable.
Staff are fabulous! Front of house staff are friendly, happy and always professionally efficient. The kitchen team create yummy food to enjoy; beautifully presented and hot!
A delicious , relaxed breakfast always starts the day.
- cj0hnp (8/5): Convenient for a South west Cornwall stay - Nice rooms situated in the centre of marazion.Cutty Sark restaurant serves a good meal car park small but you can leave the car and catch the bus to Penzance helston or Falmouth and also use the train for visits elsewhere
- Andrew (10/5): -
- Mark (10/5): Most pleasant staff and excellent location with beautifully cleaned and maintained rooms. - Room was so clean and well looked after. Everything worked. Only one tiny little observation - radiator paint could do with a bit of attention
- Lisa (10/5): Beautiful hotel near to the sea - The hotel was lovely the rooms were very warm and cosy and beautifully decorated. Nothing
- Joaquim (9/5): Descanso e caminhadas - Localização e estacionamento incluido. Mesmo em frente a St. Michaels Mount, e com paisagens muito bonitas. A praia é excelente para caminhadas na maré baixa.
- chris (10/5): - Lovingly renovated to a very good standard Pillows could have been better quality

- Ann (10/5): An excellent winter break, comfortable hotel with exceptional food in the Cutty Sark restaurant Staff all - Very welcoming , warm and cosy. Lovely furnishings and decor, more like a country house than a hotel. Ignore Sat nav when trying to find the car park there are some extremely narrow streets
- 645zaynd (10/5): Perfect dream hotel - It was absolutely perfect, we booked the apartment, it was so big and gorgeous, even the shower was good, and also at the restaurant MEGAN was wonderful, the food was delicious, COME HERE ON HOLIDAY!

- Caroline (8/5): -
- Sandra (9/5): - The management upgraded our room before we arrived so a pleasant and very welcome surprise. Fantastic view of St.Michael's Mount. Everything was good.
- Lloyd (10/5): A fabulous hotel. - All the staff were super friendly and accommodating. A big thank you to Karen for upgrading our room. We were visiting for our 30th Wedding Anniversary so this made our stay extra special. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy. Breakfast was delicious and the roast on Sunday was divine. The hotel is in a perfect location and central to visit so many other areas of Cornwall. Nothing not to like.

- David (10/5): -
- Keith (9/5): - Breakfasts and Dinners were great on every occasion.
Staff were always happy and smiley and were as attentive as they needed to be. When you pay what is pretty much top dollar for a hotel room you would expect good quality toilet paper and not the cheapest and thinnest money can buy.
The orange and apple juice that accompanied breakfast was also a little underwhelming.
- Jenny (10/5): Just what the doctor ordered x - The hotel was exactly as described, spotlessly clean, comfortable, helpful staff and stunning views The was nothing we didn't like
- adala (8/5): Loved it - Lovely experience. Very nice breakfast and warm and outstandingly welcoming staff in the restaurant and hotel. Nice breakfast and dinner. Room was comfortable but you need to climb stairs. Host assisted us with the luggage. No ac.
