• Justin (10/5): - It is an older hotel, so don't expect modern resort accommodations. It is comfortable, close to everything and the staff are very friendly. Just ask and they will help with a smile. I had a very satisfying stay here.

• Verified traveler (10/5): 便利なロケーション　フレンドリー丁寧なサービス　 - 市内周辺の観光地はすべて徒歩で行けます。周りにお店、カフェ、レストラン、コンビニもたくさんあるので、何も困らずとても快適に過ごせました。受付に日本語を話す男性が勤務していて、常にいろいろ訪ねてくれたり、教えてくれたり、とても気持ちの良い対応を受けました。感謝しています。部屋は、広さは、十分、古さがあるせいかバスルームは、少し古びた汚さがありましたが、普通に滞在するには、問題ない程度です。往復空港送迎付きとのことでしたので、こちらを予約しましたが、ホテルからは片道のみといわれ、記載に誤りがあるため、片道の送迎代は、ホテルドットコムで負担していただく対応をしていただきました。女性一人旅でしたが、危険な思いもなくとても快適に過ごせました。

• Stig (8/5): Worth staying. - Stayed one night in Vientiane and wanted to try out this hotel. Bathroom looks a bit older than the rest of the room, but its ok and works. Aircondition was very good. The room was big. The beds looked good at first, but felt too hard after laying down for a bit. The room was clean. Towels, toothbrushes and shampoo was complementary in the bathroom. Breakfast had several dishes to choose from, bread and jam together with cereal as well. We did eat somewhere else for dinner so we can not comment on the rest of the food. The Staff was very friendly, and spoke some english (not great but understandable). All in all a good hotel.

They need beds for real. But the staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful. And you only get one free ride from the airport after they pick you up from the airport and drop you to the hotel then after that it’s $10 to get a ride back to the airport when you leave.

• 猫好きばばあ (10/5): - 自転車のレンタルは無料でした。 また、空港へも無料で送って頂けました。 フロントには日本語を勉強中のKhamtanさんもいらっしゃったので、心強かったです。 車庫のようなところに数匹の猫ちゃんが飼われてて、猫好きの私にとっては観光するより猫と一緒にいたいくらいでした。 シャワーの出は問題なかったのですが、排水だけがイマイチ良くなかったです。 次にビエンチャンに行っても、また　ここに泊まります。猫目当てです。

• Steven (6/5): Cheap & Friendly - I always stay here when I'm in the capital because of the location and price. The rooms are priced fair in my opinion. This stay however I did not enjoy so much. Initially I had picked out the studio room. When I arrived at my room door, the key didn't work. The bellboy went back downstairs to program the key appropriately. When he arrived, he had two keys. The first attempt failed to open the room however second was a success. Upon entering the room, I noticed that it was not the studio, instead it was the family room. Confused, I went back to the front desk for clarification. Turned out both studio rooms were not available. Not a big deal but it would've been nice to be informed upon check-in. Nonetheless, the stay was still comfortable as usual and I was given no hassle about a later check out. FYI The A/C in room 312 works great!

Bezpłatny transport z lotniska (ok.15 min), doskonale położenie w centrum miasta, blisko do licznych restauracji i sklepów, bezpieczna okolica. Pokoje duże, czyste, komfortowe, wygodne łóżka. Smaczne sniadanie z bogatym wyborem dan na ciepło i zimno. Personel uprzejmy. Szkoda, że spędziłem w tym hotelu tylko 1 noc.

• LEE (8/5): 만족했던 호텔 - 우선 공항 픽업버스가 무료라는 점이 굉장히 좋았구요, 픽업하러 오신 분도 친절했습니다. 호텔 직원분들도 다 친절하고 룸 상태도 좋았어요. 벌레도 없구 청소도 깨끗해서 만족이었어요. 카페나 음식점 야시장 관광지 다 걸어갈만한 거리였어요. 아 조식도 맛있었어요! 종류도 많고.. 또 먹고 싶네요ㅠ 비추할만한 거리가 없는 호텔이에요! 개인적으로 아주 만족스러워서 추천해요.

• Verified traveler (4/5): I dont reccomend this hotel - when i booked i requested a quiet room and this was confirmed. 48 hours prior to arrival i wrote, via the hotel web site, to confirm the quiet room and to organise an airport pick up. the web site said i would receive a reply in 12 hours, i never received a reply. my 'quiet' room was next to the chamber maids station and i was therefore woken at 7.15am by their arrival - i dont blame them. my room also suffered from mechanical clanking noise throughout the night (lift or water pump?). i had requested a quiet room, they gave me the opposite. the wifi is slow and unreliable, it literally cuts out every five minutes. breakfast i only ate once as it was mostly tasteless fruit and processed food, the toaster only toasts one side of the bread and the coffee is awful. i also saw a cat sitting on the chairs and tables in the dining area so i worry about the hygiene. the reception staff spend most of their time with their heads down playing with their mobile phones. when i wanted to check out both members of staff where playing on their phones and did of notice me until i spoke to them. it is unprofessional and terrible customer service for staff to be seen playing on their phones at work. perhaps they could be employed responding to customer emails and then i would have received a reply?! the hotel manager really needs to look at the quality of service provided, give the staff some customer care training and ensure they put the training into practice.
• Sansnee (8/5): Convenience to different tourist locations - Staff are doing their best to provide services. We stayed twice at the hotel because of the location. The first room is large but water in the shower will over-flow when used. The second time we stayed, other room/s occupants were extremely noisy until late at night. I am not certain whether the staff took any action or not after being notified about the issue. Noise is transferred from one room to the others and one floor to the others. One noted also that there was only one staff during breakfast. Again he tried his best to provide the services required. Otherwise, the hotel is best served my purpose.

• ray (10/5): Convenient - Staff very helpful room clean food good; close to dining and bars; don’t understand why anyone complains when it’s a budget hotel ; if you want five star then pay five star prices, balcony overlooks a semi demolished building which is an eye sore but we were rarely out there anyway. Wi fi is a little slow but it’s the same story most places in Asia just don’t use it at peak times when everyone is having breakfast and on Facebook etc Lovely little cafe across the road the Parisienne great coffee and wi fi Pricing very good and a large room with all the normal facilities fridge ,cable etc Would be happy to stay again anytime

• SW (10/5): nice hotel and near night market - we arrived vientiane at 7am and hotel allowed us for early check in and upgraded the room. hotel also extend our check out time to 2pm the next day as our flight was 4pm and arranged free transfer to airport. what more can we ask for? :)

We had need to cancel a night due to travel plans and the hotel manager William was very helpful and agreed to refund the last night without penalty. He and his staff were very helpful and would recommend this hotel for this reason alone.

• Matt (10/5): Great staff, great location, very clean and quiet - This was the best stay I have had in any hotel in South East Asia and having lived in the region for 17 years that says it all. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The room was very spacious, impeccably clean and very quiet. The breakfast was nice and the buffet lunch had a good variety for a very cheap price. I will only stay at this hotel when I visit Vientiane again. A special thank-you to William the general manager who was incredibly helpful with great local knowledge.

Vientiane, while being the capital of Lao, is a "low keyed" escape from neighboring Thailand......(this was my "visa run") Hotel is a 5 story building, very close to the outdoor cafes, bars and restaurants of the city........ I had the "deluxe" room on floor 4...has a small balcony....nice..........room is large, bed comfortable, ac works well......internet is decent but certainly not fast...found the room to be somewhat noisy as you can easily hear everything in hall or in adjacent rooms....(no problem at night to sleep) Breakfast (included) is buffet style.....Ok.....(missed a decent cup of coffee, lol) Workers and staff pleasant though English is not understood by most........you will not go wrong staying here (price very reasonable) but I will look at another hotel when I return to Vientiane.

We liked the location because it was halfway between the river and some of the places we wanted to visit. There are cafes, restaurants, and bars within walking distance. The hotel has a lovely bar/coffee shop on a small porch/patio in front of the hotel.
• H.Judy (2/5): Not recommended - So disappointed to check in to such a depressing looking place. The rooms need updating especially the bathroom! Beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable. Felt very 3rd world atmosphere. Should not have more than 2 stars on hotels.com. Overpriced. Found another hotel to move to that cost $40 and was fantastic. So happy we moved out of this dump.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - The room was spacious and clean. But, the rooms tend to be poorly lit and bland. The bathroom was in older condition but everything worked. The checkin went quickly. Staff was friendly, but lacked general knowledge of the area. I think this is more of a hotel for people on business and tourists who were part of tour packages. The hotel is close to restaurants, Lao National Museum, the Mekong and night market. Breakfast was okay. Western style (eggs, ham etc.) was not especially good. Asian breakfast (noodle soup, congee) tended to be better.

William has good command of English . Buffet breakfast generous with many varities . I am very satisfied . Room is big . TV channels BBC , CCTV and CNBC for news are what i switched on at night . i noticed many entertainment channels available but no time to watch . I WILL BOOK THIS HOTEL if I visit Vientiane next year.

• kenny (4/5): Better stay elsewhere - Bad: hotel condition was poor, sink was leaking, poor sound proof, wifi was very spotty on and off every 10 minutes, tv doesn't work. Bed had many stains. Good: location next to Lao plaza hotel, a mini mart around the corner, not far to talad Sao around 10 min walk. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Would recommend to goto house of fruit shakes about 2 min walk from hotel. We requested an airport pickup months ago and of course no one from hotel to greet us after we landed. We scambled and managed to borrow a phone to contact hotel and they came after 1.5 hours. Surely we discussed our complaint to the manager and he apologized what happened to the confusion in airport and offer us a return drop off to airport free of charge when we check out. However, when we checked out the manager did not honored his words and we had to pay $10 for the drop off. Extremely dishonest and unprofessional and disgusted by his bait and switch scam. Stay away from this hotel!!!!!

The only negative was the lighting was low and the air conditioner doesn't get very cold but it wasn't too bad.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good choice - We take the hotel's MPV for sightseeing in Vientiane at a very reasonable rate. The driver though speaks little English, but he performed well in taking us to Buddha Park and other Vientiane attractions. There is no need to book any private tour. Breakfast starts at 7am, but food was ready to serve by 6.45am to our delight. As I booked my room through hotel.com, we were given a free transfer to airport. What a pleasant surprise!
• Geoffrey (6/5): 3 star is 3 star - Hotel picked me up from the airport on time for $10 (average price $8) but the return trip was included in the room rate so that was fine. Check in was prompt and easy. The hotel has a lift even though it is not stated on the website and no photo. Stayed in room 404 which was spacious as was the balcony. Nice rain forest shower with plenty of hot water pressure but the shower area was not recessed and partitioned, resulting in a wet and slippery floor. Good selection of toiletries. Not happy that there was no BBC or CNN English news media on TV. Bed was comfortable enough and the air con was fine. Needs more lighting in the corridors. I lost my electronic key card and was charged $US 20 for a replacement. Breakfast was adequate with a mix of east and west food. They could give more than 1 choice of fruit. The location is as good as anywhere in Vientiane, walking distance to everywhere and lots of restaurants around but the hotel is situated on a quiet road.
• Krisana (10/5): Thank you Laos... - Very basic hotel at good location. Staff were friendly and very helpful. On the first day my sister was ill and I have to say a big thank you to the Manager Mr.Williams, who promptly send somebody to the pharmacy to buy the medication for her. It was the service which came so naturally and I was very impressed and thankful. The staff were friendly and ready to assist and accommodate all our request. Location was great and easy to go around. However. The room that we were assigned was facing right into another building which was abit of a disappointment. But overall we had a great stay and will continue to use your hotel in the near future.
• Andrew (8/5): Enjoyed our stay - Stayed 3 nights. Was given great service by the staff, very helpful. The last night there was a neighbourhood power cut which put the air conditioners throughout the hotel out of action. Though no fault of their own they were very apologetic and very quickly provided us with an electric fan. Would recommend this hotel.

• MK (10/5): Excellent Hotel in the center of Vientiane - Great experience for my wife and I . I chose this over some other higher Rated hotel based on the reviews. And, I am sure glad that I did. It's a nice clean hotel with a very elegant lobby . The staff are all friendly and courteous. Special mention "must" go to the Asst.General Manager William . He is always available to help out any/all his clients. He even drove me in his own car to the best pharmacy in town because I needed something. The rooms were huge and clean. The Breakfast and lunch buffet were nicely laid out and attention to customer satisfaction by everybody made the experience that much memorable. All in all , absolutely satisfied . So much so that wife and I are going back in August. Vientiane is a laid back city with very friendly people. Quiet, serenity is the norm here.
• Matthew (8/5): Good Option in Vientiane - Family and some extended family stayed in 3 rooms for one night in April 2016. Two of the rooms were upgraded and all of the rooms were spacious, clean, and cool which was a welcome relief with the soaring temperatures. Shower pressure was excellent. Location was great, easy stroll to restaurants, fountains, etc. Appeared to be nice shops around as well. Inclusive breakfast buffet was good. Had western and Asian options. Staff at this hotel were friendly, professional, and attentive. Hotel also offers affordable AC transportation to sights around town and to the Thai border crossing.
• Robert (10/5): happy stay - stayed two nights .Close to every thing.arrived 9.30 in the morning,room not reedy so they gave us an upgrade so we did not have to come back at 1400. great service and big choice at breakfast time.if i had to complain about any thing it would be the in room WiFi very week in lobby is good.
• George (10/5): - I've been traveling non stop for about 4 years and I have to say that this hotel is a gem! At this price point, it can't be beat! Excellent location, great breakfast, wifi is fast and the staff couldn't be more pleasant or helpful.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Fine hotel - Just a tad woen (like everything in Vientiane) but it was clean and a little classy, and everything worked. Nice breakfast spread. Polite, attentive staff. A real bargain, even for Vientiane.
• Helen (10/5): Would definitely stay again! - Although only a short stay, everything about this hotel was great. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and service was excellent. Rooms were clean, beautiful and spacious. Breakfast was buffet style and more than adequate. The location was great for us - walking distance to a number of sights and a short tuk tuk ride to others. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
• Bill (10/5): Very nice hotel at a very competitive rate - I had the misfortune of my traveling companion passing away prior to this trip. I informed the front desk, because the rooms were pre paid. The next morning the General Manager introduced himself and offered his condolences. He took extra special care to make sure that everything was taken care of. The General Manager were extraordinarily kind of gracious during my stay, along with being very friendly.

It was like a suite. It is centrally located near all the main sites in the city. I had an incredible experience

• Ranjan (8/5): Excellent Service - On arrival we received warm welcome by hotel manager, seeing we have a kid, he happily upgraded us to a family room. staff were friendly. The hotel is at excellent location, most of the attractiona are at walking distance. it also has enough parking space. The breakfast was good and the hotel staff happily provided us vegetarian options.
• Diane (10/5): Lovely hotel and great staff - Lovely hotel juice on arrival they upgraded us to a king room, Close to river and monuments. Only small complaint beds were a little firm for us but the area around hotel was great
• Mark (8/5): Hidden Gem in Vientiane - The hotel and staff are great! Good location, easy walking distance to a lot of tourist sights in Vientiane. Breakfast Buffet is good too with a good mix of Asian and Western ood.
• Gavin (10/5): Really nice hotel, lovely staff - This is a very nice small hotel that has some of the nicest most friendly staff Ive met at a hotel. The rooms are big and the beds really comfortable. I had a great sleep each night. Breakfast is good for Lao standards and the location is perfect for nearby restaurant, minimart, massage and just 5 minutes away from almost everything else. Great value for money.
