• Angela (8/5): A short stay close to the airport. - They were very accommodating to us with a very late arrival. It is only about a 5 minute drive from the airport. The room is basic but clean. For a one or two night layover, it worked great and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Perfect location right on the beach-and 5 minutes from the airport - swimming pools and restaurants on site. Suites have everything you need and are comfortably furnished and very clean. • Meghan (6/5): - The room was renovated and clean except for mold in the shower. The bathroom cabinet was peeling. Restaurant access was great. Beach is very close. Small pool at the resort but the adjacent pool bar has a nicer pool area. AC was nice and cold and each room had its own AC unit. Worst part was the noise. Voices carry from outside very easily and airplanes coming and going are bothersome while sleeping. There is a city bus stop nearby but taxis add up quickly (20-25€ each way) when going to attractions, airport, ferry port etc. as this is far from those areas.

• Lars (8/5): Great value for money - Great value for money for families with a pool and short walking distance to the beach. The trade off is that the room standard could be better, but it works. There may also be some noise from other guests that use the pool, even at night.

• david (8/5): Hôtel très moyen, juste pour passer 2/3 jours - Notre séjour à l'hôtel Anemos Suites était correct bien qu'entâché de petits désagréments : en terme de confort, manquait un peu de vaisselle (pas de bols et très peu de couverts), pas de clé pour le coffre-fort afin d'y déposer nos documents et autres... En matière de propreté, les draps étaient légèrement tâchés et nos serviettes de bain n'ont pas du tout été changées (nous sommes restés 5 jours). Le ménage, bien qu'annoncé sur le site comme quotidien, n'a pas été effectué (seul vidage de la poubelle dans la cuisine et heureusement que nous vidions nos sacs poubelles tous les jours). Beaucoup de fourmis aussi dans l'appartement. La salle de bain n'était pas très propre également, le système de remontées du siphon était bien encrassé et attirait les fourmis. Côté extérieur, les photos n'étaient pas non plus très conformes à celles publiées sur le site (éclairages piscine n'ont pas du tout le même rendu en réel), le parking extérieur était situé sur le terrain vague en face et quasiment poussiéreux et le cadenas sur le portillon d'accès était cassé. La ruelle menant à la plage publique était très fréquentée. Beaucoup de bruit dû aussi au restaurant qui accueille des extérieurs à l'occasion d'anniversaires avec une multitude d'enfants et de fait le parking quasiment complet tous les soirs à partir de 19h00. Enfin et heureusement, Georges, le gérant, était sympathique et serviable... Il n'y avait "jamais de problème" 🤔 mais les solutions ne sont pas venues. Accès à la plage 👎

Places to see, how to get around, where to eat! They were all spot on! A great family place to stay with a restaurant with a children’s playground( for younger children under 10 ) The local beach was very clean, well maintained, and beach goers were very considerate and respectful! A great place to visit in Crete very close to the ferry port!

I highly recommend it. Btw its a 5 min drive to the airport. Jorge arranged an early taxi for us at 6am which made our next day's travel plans flow easily. Thank you Anemos Suites!!

In the morning i had a hard time finding anybody to help me at front desk. A woman who didn’t speak English eventually came. A random guest translated that there was no coffee or water available for me to buy. Very bad vibes here. Shower looked dirty. This place looks nothing like the photos.

It was ideal in every way, close to the airport, great room, swimming pool, 1 min to the beach, nice/basic breakfast to get our day started, 15 mins drive to Knossos, friendly hosts and they even waited til midnight for us!

The bar is proposing good cocktails and the swimming pool is nice ! I recommend for quality and cheap price !

Hotel czysty i wygląda jak nowy (wydaje mi się że przeszedł remont). Dużo roślinności na terenie hotelu. Wygodne łoże do spania. Bardzo przemiły i pomocny personel. Restauracja z niewygórowanymi cenami. Jedzenie w restauracji pyszne. Hotel w realu jeszcze ładniejszy niż na zdjęciach. Moja ocena to 5/5. To był nasz najlepszy wybór. Gorąco polecam dla rodzin z dziećmi.

• Wayne (8/5): We'd come back again. - We had a short, but relaxing visit here. The property is not right on the beach, but is an easy 1-2 minute walk, and the views are lovely, and the water very clear. We had one major complaint--our bathroom was extremely moldy. We asked the staff about it, and they did their best to clean, but at least some of the smell remained. The free breakfast is not anything great, but it is enough. The restaurant was quite good and reasonably enough priced. The staff were helpful in getting us taxis and one of the waiters spoke very good English. It was very quiet and serene, and the air conditioning helped during the warm afternoons. It was lovely to sit out on the balcony in the evening and watch the sun set. All in all, very much worth the money.

You had one big towel for a double room that did not get changed throughout my entire stay. Worst of all is the extra quests - like the cockroach that decided to come to say hello whilst brushing my teeth. Avoid!
• Vladimir (8/5): Could be better - Stayed one night there because of its proximity ~ 2-3 miles to airport and promise to offer shuttle to airport, which we found on the Hotels.com. We had early morning flight to Athens and wanted to drop our car in airport in the evening and use the shuttle. At the reception we were told - no, we do never offered the shuttle, but we your can use taxi for ridiculous 20-30 Euro one way: 10 Euro/mile . We had to drive to airport, to rebook the car for extra day and to wake up extra hour earlier - e.g. to do what we tried to avoid. This was disappointing in addition to a luck of places to have dinner around the place - probably because of low season.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - The property is definitely aged, and doesn’t seem to be cleaned very well. The restaurant was supposed to be open until midnight but wouldn’t serve us after 11. There was also no shuttle to the airport as stated. They had some staff that were very sweet, but other staff that were not helpful or accommodating whatsoever. This property is in a secluded area so don’t expect to find any other restaurants nearby.

• Ann (10/5): Comfortable, friendly, fantastic beach - I spent just one night here with my family when we travelled from western Crete to visit Knossos. We had a suite that sleeps 4, one double and 2 sofa beds. Comfortable beds,plenty of bedding and ac in both rooms. There was a huge balcony that went around 3 sides of our suite, with lounging and dining furniture. The kitchen area could have been better stocked with crockery but we didn't cook so it wasn't an issue for us. Pretty good wifi. Nice pool, good restaurant and a fantastic children's play area. This and the resident kittens made it a fun time for all. Anemia is on a fantastic sandy beach with tavernas and water sports. There are a few little shops around the corner. Breakfast was basic but good. We found this a good place to use as a base for seeing Knossos and wished we could have stayed for longer
