• Ileana (10/5): Il piacere di stare nella Strip di Malia - Arrivata a Le Palme mi ha accolto Giorgia in reception, e li mi sono sentita subito a casa. Gentile, cordiale, solare , tra l’altro la camera me l’ha consegnata prima del previsto. La camera e’ come nelle foto ,hai un balcone con uno stendi biancheria e con un tavolino per rilassarti all’esterno La piscina si trova in un locale di fronte ,a 20 mt ,il personale gentile e ti senti in relax. Le Palme si trova sulla Strip di Malia, piena di locali , negozi, rent a car , e tanto altro .A 5 minuti ti puoi recare verso la strada principale dell’isola o all old town , mentre per la spiaggia si fa una passeggiata attraversando la Strip, di circa 10 minuti . Li puoi trovare o la spiaggia libera o i beach bar . Io ad esempio andavo al NISOS dove anche lì mi hanno coccolata , e poi la location e’ stupenda . Che dire le mie aspettative sono andate ben oltre , e la cordialità di tutte le persone che lavorano per la struttura sono impagabili . Ci ritorno sicuro ! ( io mentre ero là ho prolungato il mio soggiorno )

• Alexandre (7/5): - La localisation, plein centre. La propreté au top, cuisine fonctionnelle, logement spacieux, bon rapport qualité/prix. On peut facilement entendre les occupants des autres logements chanter etc... Et l'établissement est en plein centre ce qui est un atout, mais il n'a pas de parking donc il faut se garer a 10min a pied si vous ne voulez pas payer.

• Evgeniia (9/5): Thanks to the staff! - The staff were very nice and welcoming. They even gifted some easter cookies. All amenities are there, the location is very good too. Currently there is construction right in front of the hotel, hence noise. I was on a weekend, so not too much of it. The room itself us pretty dark (u can even see that in photos) and cold. But u can heat it up with AC :) I guess the freshness is very good on hot summer days.
• Arnaud (9/5): - L'hôtel est bien situé dans la ville. Prix doux par rapport à la prestation (35€). Le personnel est accueillant, prévenant, gentil, agréable. Nous avions réservé une seconde nuit, mais qui n'a pu être prise en compte en raison d'un problème de double réservation sur Booking. Le personnel s'est démené (et je le remercie) pour nous trouver un autre hôtel le ''Mare monté'' tout proche, qui est remarquable (surclassement sans doute). Quelle gentillesse. La piscine n'est pas encore accessible, mais là saison n'est pas encore avancée.

• Heiam (9/5): Ich würde es wieder buchen. - Die Lage ist super. Man ist mitten im Geschehen, aber dennoch ist es recht ruhig, weil es in der Seitenstraße ist. Die Terrasse/der Balkon war super, um den Abend ausklingen zu lassen. Zimmer groß und Bett gemütlich. Kleine Küche, und eigentlich alles was man braucht. Sehr gemütlich alles. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle extrem freundlich. Sehr sympathisch und immer hilfsbereit. Die Dusche ist ein wenig klein und man macht einfach alles nass. Das war aber das einzige, was ein wenig nerven kann, gerade wenn man lange Haare hat…

• Olga (10/5): - 3 weeks since we're back home and I still remember dearly our stay at Le Palme. First things first - unbeatable service and all staff going out of their way to make you feel welcome. We arrived in the morning, our checkin was at 2pm and we went to humbly ask if we can leave our luggage at the reception to go enjoy the beach in the meantime. All agreed. Well, imagine the look on our faces when the host caught us on our way to get changed, to offer us the ready room if we wait for a bit till it got cleaned from the previous checkout. The room was ready for us at 11.30. That was not the only pleasant surprise - the staff was so lovely, gorgeous people! Georgiana and Manos were so helpful with everything you could ask for and more. Georgiana gave us advice and suggestions on absolutely everything in and around the area. We rented a quad for a few days and Manos was always moving it around so there would be no issues with the parking. The cleaning lady (lovely lady who was also pregnant) left our room sparkling every day of our stay there. They're all close and it created a cosy, family like vibe you could feel it to the core. Most of the evenings (if not all) it was Manos and his mother at the reception, oh what a lovely woman. Always greeting us, making sure everything was ok, and my compliments - an absolutely beautiful woman inside and out. If you get here and meet them, you can never go wrong - great people, big hearts! On our last day, we had the checkout in the morning whereas our flight was at 8pm, so Georgiana kindly offered us to keep our things at the reception for the day and recommended a beautiful place to visit before we got to leave. We went to Agios Nikolaos, beautiful harbour (to get there we took the bus from High Street and it was around 8 eur/2 people) And last but not least, the hotel was beautiful, the room exactly like the pictures and the terrace was huge. Totally recommend, you will enjoy! We lost 2 days to the rain, but otherwise can't really fault anything else.

• Alexandra (10/5): Bellissima camera nel cuore pulsante di Malia ❤️ - La camera è stupenda, è molto ampia, è presente anche un angolo cucina con lavandino e frigorifero, che noi non abbiamo usato ma molto utile in caso di necessità. La pulizia era davvero ottimale. La camera dispone anche di un balcone, molto comodo per stendere teli mare e costumi. L'accoglienza da parte della proprietaria è stata ottima, molto disponibile anche per fornirci indicazioni circa il parcheggio. L'aria condizionata rinfresca alla perfezione. La struttura è davvero nel centro della movida di Malia, è un piacere poter girare a piedi lungo la via dei locali. Con le finestre e le porte chiuse non abbiamo avuto problemi di schiamazzi. Forse solo la doccia che non ha la vetrata ma solo una tendina, ma nel complesso è un difetto davvero di poco conto. È un po' problematico trovare parcheggio soprattutto il weekend in alta stagione, ma comunque abbiamo trovato una soluzione molto vicina.

• Deborah (4/5): Nice if you don’t mind a lot of noise - The staff is super friendly and the room is pretty big and clean! Central location, so everything is within walking distance (beach, old town). The hotel is surrounded by clubs/bars and the room is not soundproof, so there’s a lot of loud music until very late at night from the bars and party people coming home making noise. Room itself is fine, but the bathroom is very small. When you shower everything gets wet.

Bon rapport qualité-prix. Clairement pas l’endroit pour ceux qui souhaitent du calme ou de l’authenticité. Le bruit des voisins festifs est fréquent et la rue balnéaire manque totalement de charme

• Sherine (7/5): Repos non, fête oui ! - Moins cher sur place que sur booking ! (20e la nuit) L’accueil est très sympathique, notamment la dame de la réception qui est toujours disponible et agréable. Le logement est récent, moderne et très bien décoré, offrant un cadre agréable pour séjourner. La plage de Potamos est à seulement 10 minutes, moins fréquentée et donc beaucoup plus calme que les plages principales. Enfin, la taverna Zacharias est à absolument tester pour une expérience culinaire locale authentique. Cet hôtel n’est clairement pas destiné à ceux qui veulent se reposer. C’est très bruyant, la rue est très animée et la piscine se trouve de l’autre côté de la rue, derrière un bar, donc nous n’avons pas pu en profiter. Les restaurants et magasins autour sont nombreux mais les prix sont assez élevés. On croise également des rabatteurs dans les environs. La douche éclabousse partout, ce qui rend son utilisation peu pratique, et il serait préférable d’avoir deux tapis de bain dans la salle de bain pour plus de confort.

• Julia (7/5): Wir haben uns im Großen und Ganzen wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder :) - Die Unterkunft ist schön eingerichtet und bietet eine kleine Küche , um auf der Therasse zu frühstücken usw. Die Ausstattung der Küche, könnte jedoch besser sein. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war insgesamt top! Das Badezimmer ist leider zu klein und beim duschen überflutet man jedes Mal den Boden.

• Maria Papadaki (7/5): - Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικό και πολύ ευγενικό, γενικά ήταν φιλόξενο ως περιβάλλον. Στην κράτηση είχα επιλέξει δωμάτιο σε όροφο και έμεινα σε ισόγειο, επίσης στην σελίδα κράτησης έγραφε θέα στην θάλασσα αλλά η θέα ήταν τοίχος.

• Kristina (7/5): Prima geregeld bij het hotel! - Het was qua locatie als je op de strip van Malia wilt zitten goed. Alles is dichtbij op loop afstand dus dat was top. Daarbij hoort wel de muziek die je ‘s avonds nog hoort maar wij vonden dat niet storend De badkamer was erg klein en stond volledig onder water als je ging douchen. Daarvoor de handdoeken van het douchen gebruikt om droog te maken maar die worden om de dag gebruikt als vervangen dus dat was onhandig. Airco werkt ook niet heel goed helaas. ‘s nachts nog steeds erg warm

• Jo (10/5): Amazing, can't wait to go back! - So much love for this place!! Firstly, the late check in was so smooth (2 am) and the guy who met us was friendly and informative. Told us about the bar and pool over the road at Help Bar which was also wonderful 👍 The Le Palme is in an amazing location, right on the strip but equally a short walk to the right into the gorgeous Old Town with its pretty little streets and fabulous traditional tavernas. Spotlessly clean, spacious and modern with comfy beds and gorgeous views of the olive trees. Room 111 was very quiet. Georgia on reception is absolutely fantastic, so lovely (good luck for 5/9!!). Poppy in Help Bar is incredibly friendly. We loved every second. We were in a very late flight home, and the only slight negative was the lack of a courtesy room, to get changed. However, we used the loo and made the best of it.

Caterina and Manos (reception) are extremely helpful and kind. The room was clean, and the housekeeping was great. I felt everyone was commited to provide me an excellent stay. The location is great! a few blocks from the main street, a few blocks from a big supermarket, and a few blocks of the beach. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Highly recommendable! And great value for money. PS: and I stayed like 20 days, not just one or two nights :-) Everything was great
• Alex (8/5): So Friendly - A great little hotel right on the Malia strip, about half way between the main street and the beach- it was lovely and quiet in early April but probably a bit different through summer. The owner/ manager who was on reception was extremely welcoming and very friendly, she added a real personal touch. My room was clean and well decorated with a comfortable bed and beautiful terrace (shame it didnt stop raining long enough to use it!). Decent WiFi provided, aircon available but at extra cost- not sure how much as i didnt need it. The only downside was the ensuite which was very cramped and using the shower flooded it. Also, no toiletries other than hand soap, and theyre a bit skimpy on the towel front. That said, overall Le Palme is an excellent, good value place to stay in Malia.

• Karolina (10/5): Magic place ✨ - Magic place in the middle of party town ✨ Personal was super kind and sypathetic, half of the house we’re living in was quiet at night even outside was party in the town and we so much loved the balcony in georgeous garden we were looking to! Simply loved it and highly reccomend!
• Emmanouil (9/5): Great value, nice rooms, simple and relaxing - Pretty much everything. Spacey room, comfy bed, a nice little balcony and a great garden area with a brick bench that you can relax on. A very helpful host as well. It's placed in the middle of a tourist road and allows for access to a nice open pool across the road. Rooms could use a bit more sound-proofing. Other guests are (very) drunk and hence (very) audible in the middle of the night, especially when standing outside of the rooms, in the open areas. That comes with the area though, so some better sound-proofing might help mitigate the issue. There were some small yet visible webs on the lamp on top of the main mirror. Besides that, it was one of the cleanest hotels I've visited.

The location is perfect if you are in Malia for parties and so on. Moreover, the beach isn't that far (10 minutes by walk). The bus stop to go to Heraklion airport is 7 minutes walk. Lots of restaurants, cafes, bars around. It is along the famous strip of Malia. The old town is nearby as well. The size of the room is great. Cleanliness at the property is good too. There is small kitchen in the room! 1. Beds could be improved significantly. It was not comfortable for me. 2. Bathroom, especially the shower room is very small and the curtain is always sticking to your body while taking shower. Also, it totally impossible to take shower without making mess around. also, there is no shower gel provided and in the shops around you only get 250ml bottles. They could install a shower gel bottle or sell small sachet at the reception at the time of check in. I had leave out mine as I did not have check in. This can be simply changed. 3. The rooms are not fully soundproof. As it is a party place, you can hear people coming in and out in the middle of the night.

• Matthew (9/5): Big, bling, great value - I had booked the pool balcony room and checked in with a friendly receptionist at10 30 am, by 10 40am I was in my room. The room was big, bling, very clean, and had a tv I could actually plug my laptop into and watch. You can't do this with the TVs at Real palace hotel that have a remote control that won't let you change to a HDMI slot, probably so you use less electricity or want to go to their bar. There was a well equipped, kitchenette with an oven/grill,hob,and a big fridge. Safe and air conditioner for no extra charge(unlike Real palace)no additional tourist tax charge(unlike Real palace)and as advertised, a huge balcony with lots of seating. The room is cleaned everyday, which I found impressive as I had just spent 6 days at Real palace without a single clean, Im ranting about Real Palace because they don't allow reviews on booking.com. A great value apartment in the middle of malia The only minor drawback is the balcony view. There is a view of a pool, but it was empty when I was there. You do have use of another pool, across the road, but I just went to the beach. Immediately in front of the balcony is the roof of a fast food restaurant, complete with extractor fan, which was switched on at night on saturday and sunday, but was closed for the rest of the week. There was a nice view of the mountains from one part of the balcony, which I enjoyed in the morning and early evening. On the other side of the street was a noisy bar(only noisy at night), which you could just see from the balcony, but it wasnt loud enough to bother me

• Natalia (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent hotel in a strategic location close to the bus stop and the centre of Malia with restaurants and supermarket. The room is spacious, cosy and clean with a comfortable bed, balcony and kitchenette. I stayed at the hotel for a week and extended my stay for another fortnight because I liked everything so much. Many thanks to Katerina for her active help and quick response to all my requests. Everything was perfect!

It is in a very good location close to shops and bus stops for Iraklio and other places and the accommodation is excellent for facilities and super clean, the WiFi works perfectly! I can highly recommend this place to stay and I would definitely stay again while I am in Crete because it is far superior accommodation to the places I have stayed while in Crete so far, Thank you! • Janne (8/5): Very nice, clean and spacious room in the heart of Malia - The lady from the reception was very nice and made us feel very welcome. We also loved our balcony! The location was also good, between the old town and the beach. The pool was on the other side of the road, but we didn't visit. During the night, you could also hear the music a bit so bring your earplugs.

When I come back for vac5ill definitely will stay at this hotel again. I recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to the beach and even closer to the clubs. The only small inconvenience was with the bathroom where all the water was coming out, but this was really not of a big problem
• Amy (9/5): Excellent stay and I would 100% stay again. - The staff were excellent throughout are stay. They helped us buy any event we wanted and assisted us with transfers to the airport. The location is great as it’s right on the strip and we actually didn’t hear anything, which we was worried about. I loved having the kitchen part and the air con was needed with how hot it was. Overall, I would 100% recommend this hotel and the staff were fantastic. The shower was quite small and the bath Mat was quite dirty.

• Eryn (1/5): Not impressed - The reception area was very modern The staff were rude and very arrogant. I was not happy with the way I was spoken too. I arrived and there was a bag of food in my cupboard with Ants. The lady on reception then had the ordacity to say it was mine !
