• Leung (7/5): Room needed some maintenance to reflect the beauty of the other parts of the hotel. - Location was close to the train station for the lines I needed for the days I was there. Staffs were friendly and worked efficiently. They kept refilling the fridge with 4 water bottles each day despite it only being 1 personal staying in the room and I didn't even finish the others from the previous days. The room I got felt more like a 2 star hotel room than 3 stars. Parts of the room was modernly renovated, but I'd personally say they were poorly designed and renovated as damages were partially covered up, lots of scratches and stains, missing pieces, squeeky doors, etc. My room felt warm and humid. The instructions in the room said there was a remote to adjust AC, but I could not locate the remote for it.

(The info booklet in the room said the aircon was hooked up to the building's central air, so we weren't allowed to control it). Couldn't imagine trying to sleep there. I had intended to stay at this hotel before moving somewhere else long-term, but ended up going to the other place immediately to sleep and using this hotel room as just a luggage staging area.

• Nora Samosir (3/5): good location but unpleasant stay - The location being close to the Cheongnyangni station was the reason for choosing this hotel. The very small window that faced another wall of the building made the room somewhat claustrophobic. The floor to ceiling mirrors on 2 walls were distracting and when the room lights were on created a blinding effect. In the bathroom, the bathtub was stand alone and this caused a lot of splashes of water onto the floor between the wall and the bath tub which was not cleaned by housekeeping making the floor there very damp and dirty.

• Rush (7/5): Good - The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was lovely, fresh water bottles in the fridge daily. The deluxe double was not as deluxe as I expected. No comfy chair to sit on, just two hard chairs or the bed.
• KIYOSHI (8/5): - It's close to the station, there are convenience stores and local food restaurants nearby, the hotel staff are friendly, and the cost performance is excellent. I would like to stay here again. The only downside is that there were a lot of fruit flies in the room, which disturbed my sleep. No matter how much I tried to get rid of them, there were still a lot of them.
• Charlene (8/5): - Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was a decent size, everything was in good working order and condition, the bed was very comfortable. It was surprising that a basic amenity kit wasn't provided in the room - it was available from a vending machine for 1500 kwn. The nightly rate was a bit high for the area, but I wanted to be right by the metro station, and the hotel was literally just a crosswalk away.
• 677claytonc (2/5): I Couldn't Find a Single Thing in the Hotel That was Clean. - This was listed as a "3-star hotel". It's actually just a slightly classier no-tell motel. Stained sheets, brown/white pillowcases, peeling chairs and walls, scuffed bathtub, dirty slippers, even the freaking HAIR DRYER was greasy on every surface. It was so bad, there was no point in complaining. What were they going to do? Book us a different hotel? All of this is stuff that you could live with, if your expectations are properly set before you get there. However, they're really trying to glam this place up with a heavy coat of makeup, influencer hype, and lots of filters on their photos. This room was listed at $165/night during our stay, and it was about $100 too expensive in my opinion.

• SUNHEE (2/5): - I don't usually leave reviews, but I had such a bad experience that I feel compelled to share. They only gave me one key, and when I requested an additional one, they asked for a deposit. I had confirmed before booking that I could use 110v electronic devices, but when I arrived, they couldn't even distinguish between a transformer and a power outlet, and kept insisting on the deposit. When I asked if someone could help me with my heavy luggage, they sighed and initially refused, though someone else eventually helped. Despite the information stating that the ramen machine in the basement could be used until 9 p.m. on weekdays, they annoyingly told me it was closed at 8:30 p.m. and repeatedly refused service. My child wanted to try the ramen machine because of their experience with it in Korea, and it was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. However, they ruined our trip to Korea and every time we returned to the hotel, we regretted choosing it. We never want to stay at this hotel again, so we decided to stay at a different hotel for the rest of our trip.

Staff wasn’t helpful when our flight to return home was cancelled and we had to return home a day early. They would not refund our last day. We had three rooms and these rooms were the most expensive rooms for our whole trip to South Korea. The room also didn’t look like the photos on the website. The walls are in need of a fresh coat of paint! Upon arrival late in the evening, there were some unpleasant odors wafting out of the parking area and the incense smell in the facility was strong. We didn’t see a whole lot to do in the general area.

• Elizabeth (7/5): the hotel is modern, conveniently located very near the train station and the big Lotte department store. - the bed linens are really nice and clean. hotel is near the train station. we had to ask for bath towels almost everyday for the week we stayed- there are 3 of us in the family room but only 1 or 2 bath towels given, and 3 small HAND towels 😞. there is no towel rack/bar/hook in the bathroom or in the bedroom.

Didn’t able to eat in certain days. Only got white rice, ramyeon, two type of breads and two type of cereals.

I was hoping for a beautifully styled room but we got a plain black and white room. It was so boring compared to other pictures.

Public transport options were very close by, both Cheongnyangni Station and bus stop options. The overall ambiance of the rooms were booked could be improved upon. Beds were a little too hard and one of our rooms had an intense and horrible smoke smell. Once the hotel staff was notified they were able to move us, but I am surprised they would book someone into a room that had issues.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - 청결상태가 너무 안좋습니다. 욕실 곰팡이와 습한상태. 시설과 서비스는 만족했습니다.
• Aviyas (6/5): 2/27 - I stayed at the Hotel "The Designers" for two nights, after my quarantine, when it was too early to check in to my university dormitory. The building itself looks prestigious and rooms too with everything being white, the reception staff was quick to check in me, they do charge extra fee ( small amount) for early check in. So even though the front desk staff did speak little English we was able to communicate through “Google translator” there were no problems, staff tried their best to explain things and were extremely polite and helpful. But I have nothing positive to say about the cleaning standards and cleaning staff, the toilet stank and was literally yellow inside it had not been cleaned before my check in, the toilet bench full of dust and dried soap. When I met a cleaner in the hall and pointed this out, he pretended not to understand me and gave a look like he wants to kill me and said that I should turn to the reception. They do not take their job seriously in the hall I constantly heard them laughing out loud and talking loudly in Russian with each other, like they are being in the market. 5 hours during the day of their working hours they sit and eat in the dining room. On the second day no one came and did cleaning in my room. So sadly that your housekeeping ruins your reputation, so make an investment in your cleaning staff, because these people have no job ethics, they are not professional.
• HYECHUNG (10/5): - 와우!!!정말 너무 너무 훌륭합니다. 넓고, 깨끗하고, 침구 완전 푹신하고, 분위기 좋고.....간이 식당에는 먹을 것이 없어서 많이 아쉬웠지만...그것 빼고 객실은 완벽했습니다. 다음에도 근처에 올 일 있으면 여기에 묵을 예정입니다. 강추합니다.

• SungHee (8/5): 괜찮아요. - 고3아이와 시험을 보기 위해 묵었습니다. 아주 늦은시간에 도착해서 아침일찍 나오는 일정이라 잠깐 지내기는 괜찮았어요. 주차는 발렛으로 했기때문에 편리했고요. 호텔들어가는 입구가 좁아 밤에 찾기 조금 어려웠어요. 욕실세면대가 사용하기 조금 불편했지만 전반적으로 가격대비 괜찮았습니다.

• Eunah (2/5): 지린내나는 욕실 - 음… 사진으로는 괜찮아보였는데… 실제 가보니 운영상태가 그닥 좋지 않았어요. 욕실에서는 지린내가 나고 세면대, 욕조 뒤와 틈새에 곰팡이가 있고, 세면도구가 담겨있는 박스는 일부 파손되어 있었어요. 제공되는 충전기는 먹통에 냉장고도 시원하지 않고, 벽지에 얼룩에… 3성급 호텔인데 너무 하단 생각이 듭니다. 욕실 지린내는 프론트에 말해서 다시 청소하긴 했는데, 청소직후만 좀 괜찮은 듯했고 시간이 지난 후에 다시 지린내가 진동해서 욕실을 들어갈 수 없는 걸 보면, 벽 어딘가 혹은 변기쪽 배수에 문제가 아닐까 싶은데요. 청소했다고 그냥 두는게 아니라 매니저 분이 직접 꼼꼼이 확인하던가 하셔야 할 것 같아요. 많이 실망이네요
• Gunnar (10/5): I would stay here again. - The room layout is fairly nice and all the standard amenities are there. The bed is firm but comfortable. Netflix on TV unit was a lot more convenient than I thought it would be as the TV moved fast enough through the selections unlike some of the other hotels. The area is fairly busy, but conveniently located next to the bus station and the train/subway station for easy access. Plenty of restaurants around and there is a department store right by it. The lobby area is small, but well laid out. The staff can see you when you enter to greet.
• Jin woo (8/5): 좋습니다 - 정갈하고 깨끗합니다. 온수가 한방에 팡팡 잘 나와서 샤워할때 기분이 좋았습니다. 단점(?)아닌 단점은 두 가지. 베개가 높고 딱딱함, 문이 엄청 무거움. 이 외에는 다 좋았습니다.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - 전반적으로 깨끗했어요! 사람들 손이 잘 안닿는곳에 먼지가 좀 있긴했는데 구석의 먼지는 별로 중요한문제는 아닌것같아요. 침구류에서 약간 락스냄새가 나긴했는데 제가 후각이 예민한편이라 느낀것같아요. 불편할정도는 아녔어요. 또 TV가 왕커서 좋았어요. 전체적으로 객실이 쾌적하다는 느낌을 받았고 가성비도 좋습니다. 만족스러웠어요

• Gabriel (10/5): - I stayed in a suite room which i got for a great price, so i was going in satisfied. This was my second time staying here. The first time was in August when I came to Seoul to say goodbye to a friend, and I believe i stayed in a double bed room at the time. Beds were great, ability to control the temperature, amenities, all there. Both rooms had great price and size. Suite room was fantastic. My only real problem was that the sinks I had were sort old, dirty and drained slow. Otherwise it was a great experience.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - 호텔 앞 정차 후 차키 맡기고 타워 주차했습니다. 직원분들 서비스도 굉장히 좋았습니다만, 방에 들어갔을때 침구나 다른 부분은 청결했으나, 쓰레기를 미처 다 못치우시건지 빈 물병이 바닥에 떨어져있었습니다. 침대옆이라서 기분이 좀 이상하더라구요.... 그거 외에는 침구 상태나 침실 온도가 적당해서 편하게 잘 수 있었어요.
