- Eryn (10/5): Comfort and easily accessible - The size of the room was perfect, the bathroom gave plenty of room and counter space for all of my products. My fridge didn’t seem like it got very cold, even with turning the knob down in the fridge to make it colder.

The wonderful gentleman at the front desk immediately changed our room, SADLY my husband book and paid for a king SUITE but we did not get that. The gentleman at the front desk made the rating go up. Everything else was fine EXCEPT for the ROACH and no King SUITE. KING SUITE as booked and no roach.

The hotel in front desk informed me that there were no rooms available and I needed to cancel my reservation. However, if I cancel my reservation, they will charge me again. So I sent a request for free cancellation, but haven't received a reply 24 hours later. So far, I haven't received any confirmation information nor a refund .I'm extremely disappointed with the behavior of BOOKING and the hotel

Check out staybridge suites instead - Good location There were no working keys to the doors and each time you left out you would have to find front desk clerk to let you back in your room. Certain on room window was fixed and would not close. Meaning the curtain was there as decoration only and was not functional. To make matters worse, the window view was full of bright signage from all the businesses outside.

The website claims there is an onsite restaurant and room service but neither is accurate. The rooms are painted a mauve- pink and seriously need updating.They have a musty smell. The room cleanliness is lacking. The overall experience has been disappointing. It is not up to the usual Hilton standards. I can’t recommend this place.

The chair in the room was so damaged. There was no complimentary breakfast as you would normally expect in a hotel in this medium class. I will not stay here again even though it is in a convenient location. Definitely choose another hotel.

The carpet in the hallways was not pleasing to the eye. In fact, it was badly stained. I was very disappointed with that.

Each time, someone answered and said, “ hold please”. They did not return. The staff was not friendly and wouldn’t speak, as they have always done in the past. Just a friendly “good morning” would be a nice addition. When we arrived in our room, the drapes nor shades would close. The front desk said, “ yes, some of them work and some don’t”Our concerns were addressed by survey, which Hilton responded by email and stated , please contact them at the email or phone listed below, which was not listed. Hilton, you can do better.
- mlrutland (4/5): Moldy Mess - Very rude staff (check in and check out was the same female) , rooms are old (ceiling was discolored), bathtub had hair and the bed was uncomfortable! They need to tear this hotel down and start fresh( throwing in some new end tables won’t be enough) plus the hotel has a moldy smell that feels dirty. The last stay , we had ask for a late checkout due to a work call (front desk said absolutely ), during my hour call, the staff kept knocking on the door and the front desk kept calling and interrupting my call. Too bad the phone was broken so we couldn’t answer. This time, when we checked in, our keys didn’t work, then at checkout our $10 my way benefits didn’t apply and she couldn’t be bothered. I know 4 nights a month is not a lot but we are done. After the last time we started staying at another brand hotel, thinking maybe it had changed we gave it another try. Nope

They do not have the kitchen open anymore in the afternoons either. I will not stay there again but I will go hang out with Tim at the bar. He is the only reason I didn't give 1 start. He is entertaining and fun to be around.

- Knight (4/5): - After staying at this property a couple of months ago, I decided to stay there again this weekend. The furniture was old and worn. The bathtub was dirty. The carpet in the hallway was in need of cleaning. The entry way rug needed vacuuming. This property did not appear to be crowded; however they appeared to put everyone on the 4th floor. The people that was placed in the room next to mine were extremely loud. I could literally hear their conversation. This was definitely a different experience from my first visit to this property.

- B7416OFkellyc (2/5): Worst Hilton property we’ve ever stayed at. Old, dirty, rude mgt, breakfast a joke, bar never open…. - STAY AWAY! This hotel is dirty & in disrepair. Mgt was rude when they should have grateful we were there. Breakfast was a joke. Chef couldn’t cook eggs. After 2 failed attempts, the waitress cooked eggs. Room was in bad need of a remodel. Bathroom had mold & shower door pull was falling off. Clock busted & woke us up at 4am no way to silence it. Hairdryer handle was gooey. Disgusting! The bar was not opened during our 3 night stay. We went to get a bootle of wine and asked the front desk to use 2 wine glasses which were in a glass cabinet 4 steps away. We were told it wasn’t allowed. The dirty room, broken clock, broken chair, broken shower door handle, rude staff SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED!

The Breakfast was good and hot, staff was constantly cleaning and helpful as well. Dinner was same way. Love it and will return I did not like the entry way into the building, I wasn't for sure if I was coming in the right way, Such a nice hotel should have a better entry; however I LOVED EVERYTHING ELSE!!!

- James (6/5): Terribly Disappointed. - We checked in and discovered there would be no breakfast because “we didn’t choose that package”; however, that option was not provided, but ok. We went out to eat and came back about 9pm to discover our room key pad was damaged, but worked (we hadn’t gone up at check in, just out to eat) and the door was dirty (I have pics). Still it worked and the inside locks worked and since we hadn’t planned on leaving we were ok with it. We get inside and the desk chair arms are extremely tattered. We asked about buying bottled water, but they had none because the delivery truck hadn't arrived. Plus, the vending machines were all sold out. Then, the remote only controlled the on/off, and volume. So no TV! This was about 10pm so we didn’t bother with trying to get someone to fix it. They weren’t helpful with the drinks so why would they care about the TV. Finally, as we were packing to leave I discover a used disposable laundry bag in the closet. When we checked out I tried reporting the issues but the clerk said “Yeah, we know and we are working on this problems. Like I know these aren’t huge deals, but we got the impression that our room was on hotels.com as a “discounted rate due to damage.” The issue is that we could’ve (and will going forward) stayed somewhere else. We presumed that as an upper scale Hilton family hotel that it would’ve been a treat but instead we were terribly disappointed.

- David (8/5): Overall, no complaints & I plan to stay here in the future. - Breakfast area was in a good location & clean. From previous stay I knew to prepay for the breakfast. The menu could be improved by adding bananas & other yogurt flavors. Plain yogurt is all that is offered. Not all but some of the staff in the breakfast area have been timid & appear afraid to offer much hospitality.

- Lauren (6/5): - There was some damage to the first room I was given and I had to be moved. The second room was fine. Day 2 of a 3 day stay, my room keys stopped working, so after a long day I had to trudge all the way back down to the front desk to get them reprogrammed. The restaurant was out of several things the first 2 mornings, but had been restocked by the third, so that made it somewhat better. Selection for snacks even to purchase was quite thin, and the vending machines were all broken, which was disappointing. I will say that the staff is all super friendly and tried very hard to be accommodating, but there was only so much they could really do.

Very bad whoever the foreign woman was. The shower area wasn’t clean (I have photos) there was a leak in the shower area water came out on floor badly I had to use all the towels to clean up the water. The shower surface was dirty. Look like mold in the corner. I was so upset until I didn’t shower because of the unclean area. My family showered but I took a bird bath from the sink.

When i told the employee at the desk her response was "I know but we are working on getting things fixed". So basically they know that there are rooms that are not up to Hilton standards but care more about making money than giving guests what they are paying for.

- charlessF6156FO (2/5): Worst Hilton Garden Inn - Where do I start…. And I stay here once a month to help retain my Diamond status with Hilton but it just gets worse every time. Gym water out (advised front desk for last 2 stays). Bar poorly stocked. No breakfast served for the last 2 visits. Very little flavored coffee creamer. And usually there is ice cream syrup put with the coffee, I assume as a flavoring….terrible idea! Get the big jugs of Coffee Mate like every other hotel. I check in 2 people on the app but you have to go to front desk and be sure 2 people are in their system for your Daily Credit. If you don’t then you have to call and hope Thomas is working there for 1 hour a day to make the changes to what you were charged. When I left here I headed to the Hilton in Starkville, MS. It was a night and day difference! Kudos to Starkville Hilton! I’m guessing whoever manages the Flowood hotel is used to a Motel 6. This should be the premier hotel of Flowood but it’s not. If I were Hilton Corporate, I’d change the name on this one and downgrade it in a heartbeat!
- Daniel (4/5): - A better job really needs to be done with the rooms. The carpet was dirty, shower curtain and a dead bug that apparently was smashed with the curtain. All the furniture looks like it had been purchased from a thrift with how poor the condition was and lastly, if this is a non smoking hotel, the rooms wreaked of cigarette smoke. I know it wasn’t just one room but many rooms because our in-laws stayed in another room. Poor job Hilton in letting your franchise and your brand tarnish in this way.
- richarddF554GU (2/5): Traveling for work and pleasure - I am a life time diamond member- I average over 200 night per year. I also stay with the Hyatt Brand. This Hilton Garden Inn is by far the worst Hilton Propety I have EVER stayed with, from the service at the front desk to never knowing if the resturant is going to open, the bar is terrible, the fittnes room is alway dirty and there is very little food in the lobby pantry. On one of my stay there was NO FOOD. I ask the front desk to switch my 10 meal credit to points. Of coarse that never happen. You have to beg to get your room clean. Shew! this place is soooo bad. I have written Hilton and never got a reply. It too bad, hilton point values are amount the worst now, they won't clean your clean like before covid. they have adjust pricing. You lose one custmore at a time before you're out of business. So, I have been staying with Hyatt whenever I can.. they are wonderful!
