- Nicholas (2/5): - The check in guy was awesome in checking me in & getting me to the room . I let him know I was from Hobbs . I was delivering packages all day & had to referee soccer games later that evening . I just needed the room for an hour to shower & change but I knew I had to pay full price no matter what . I get to the room & there was some crumbs under the A/C unit & absolutely NO HOT WATER . I was in room 423. I let the water run for about 5 minutes because I knew sometimes it takes awhile for higher floors to get hot water . Well that didn’t work because there was absolutely no hot water & not even warm . So I paid $130 bucks for a room to use for about an hour just to take a shower but had no hot water . Disappointing when that’s the only thing I needed the room for .
- Verified traveler (6/5): - We came to use the pool but was informed that it was closed when we got there. Check out is at 12 but we kept having people trying to enter the room prior to this time. One of the times I was alone with my baby and I was using the restroom. We got a call about 45 min after we left at 12:45 asking if we needed to be charged for late checkout because they had “just” checked the room and we had belongings in there which was not true because we were already in another town having lunch.

- Julie (10/5): - Great service. Comfortable room and bed. Nice amenities and hot breakfast. 24 hour coffee in lobby. The only “complaint” was there wasn’t a microwave in the room (but there is one in the lobby) and no dog area (although there is an empty lot around the hotel, but be careful, there are “stickers “ that get into paws and a lot of ant hills.). Overall, though, we had a really nice stay. There is a McDonald’s and Walmart with a Subway restaurant within walking distance. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay again.

- Deborah (4/5): Don’t get sick & need an early check in or a hot shower - Nice large rooms Clean rooms Comfy bed We arrived early and asked to check in. The lady was very insistent that we could NOT a check in early. We needed to check in. one of us had gotten sick on the trip and needed to shower. We were willing to pay for the early check in or another room if ours was unavailable. She was very insistent no checking in before 3 She did not go out of our way to accommodate us even though we had a medical problem. Went back after 3 and finally got checked in. Only to be told they the pool was not in service and I could not use it. The lady was checked us in was very nice Tried to shower no hot water even though I let it run. When I told the desk clerk he told me they you needed to let it run for a long time to get hot water and he would refer it to maintenance. That of course didn’t help me get my shower cause I was leaving What a waste of water The coffee is in the lobby area but no coffee is available in the breakfast bar. You need to go back to the lobby to get your coffee. The ladies restroom in the lobby has a handicapped bathroom but the lock does not work on the door. Another stall has leaky toilet flusher when you flush it. This is not the first time we have encountered problems at this hotel. On a previous occasion we tried to stay there and was told we didn’t have a reservation. We left and called booking.com who confirmed we had a reservation. The hotel called us back but by then we had secured other accommodations. It is a beautiful hotel and I wouldn’t. Mind staying there but some of the staff are not interested in trying to accommodate to a travelers needs which occasional change and need to be addressed. It is unfortunate that the hotel is run this way I expected more from a Hilton hotel Of course no compensation was offered

Staff friendly & allowed us to check-in a little early so we could dress for the event at FLETC. Acknowledged our Hilton membership and offered the free bottles of water. Easy parking. Quiet and clean.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Good hotel for a family trip - The hotel was a nice facility with good complimentary breakfast and coffee. The indoor pool was nice but it isn’t heated so it was freezing. We needed room towels and pool towels during our stay and were told there were no towels clean in the entire hotel and to check back later. The hotel does room cleaning every other day. The girl at the front desk during the night shift is incredibly rude and unprofessional but the guy during the day is polite and helpful.

The peloton bike could not be used because it was not updated. Parking was onsite and hotel is located very near the Walmart for shopping. Downtown Artesia is only one or two miles away.

I especially loved the soft towels, better than another Hampton on an earlier stay. Pets accepted. Though we didn’t have one, we saw a kitty in a window when we left. Nice breakfast, too.

- Veronica (6/5): - Our stay started off great. The room was nice, spacious and clean. We had dozed off watching TV and woke up around 1am to turn it off. After that, it was horrible. The people next door (Rm 304) were blasting music and making a ton of noise. We called to the desk and the night clerk said she would handle it. It never stopped. We called again. Same response. I finally went down to the desk at 2am and the night clerk said she would have them escorted off the property because they've been told several times. I'm not sure if that ever happened but we were finally able to fall asleep thanks to our AC unit that drowned out any noise. I'm assuming they never left because when we woke up, we could still hear people in that room. I'm sure there was a language barrier but in any case, I dont appreciate being lied to.
