• HSIN-YI (8/5): 乾淨的民宿 - 房外即可停車，民宿主人很熱心，很仔細說明房間的使用方式。我的房間有上下舖，但上舖可能不適合高大的人（坐起來會打到頭），衛浴也非常小，高大的人會非常不便。日本很重視垃圾分類，住宿旅客請務必協助垃圾分類。最近的便利店可能要走個5分鐘。

• Claudia (9/5): Superb - Location is awesome, only 5min walk to the gondola station (and less to amazing coffee at Ronin), 5min walk to a convenience store, 5min walk to bus or 20min walk to the supermarket. The unit was super warm, clean, spacious, and well equipped. The host is awesome, picked us up from the train station and even took us via the Lawson so we could get some supplies without having to walk in the dark and snow :) Great stay! Only mark down is because the bed is quite uncomfortable, and if you are a couple you will roll into each other in the middle because it sags a bit. Would probably still choose to stay here though, everything else is worth it!

• Amanda (10/5): Exceptional - Basically had your own little cottage! Very spacious room that can hold big luggage, snowboards and have room to relax. Pretty comfortable beds for travel standards. Bathroom was on the smaller side but efficient use of the space. Location is perfect- 5 min walk to bottom of lift! Bar on the adjacent block and convenient store 5 min down the road. Coffee shop on the way to the mountain- 3 min walk, serves great food! Did not serve breakfast bec it’s not a hotel. Was not a make it or break it for us just an FYI!
• Cara (9/5): Cozy cabin a short walk from resort lifts - The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and was well located a short walk up to the Kitanomine chair lift. The wooden interior made the room feel very comfy. We enjoyed being able to wake up in the morning and see the hill from the window. There has been a lot of attention to detail in the practical set up of the room, and there is ample space to store snow boards/skis and gear. Mr. Shinojima is a lovely host, and drove us to the train station on our last day. Nothing, all of our needs were met

Beautiful interior, the host was so kind! The bed was pretty uncomfortable. Not a big deal, but this was the only place we stayed in Japan without a bidet.

• Bing (6/5): Good location for a reasonable price relative to the ski resorts - Location was close to the ski area and there was indeed parking, but limited to 4 cars for 4 rooms (4 cars will be a tight squeeze though, especially on snowy ground). Rooms came with a small kitchenette and the host was helpful in recommending places to eat. Heating wasn't very strong, but liveable. Limited hot water meant I wouldn't want to gamble with the idea of being doused with freezing cold waters in the middle of the winter halfway through my shower. Walls were kinda thin, we could hear speech from the neighbouring room.

• Joy (6/5): Pleasant - It was convenient whereby there were many great and affordable food areas around the corner! The host was also pretty proficient with English and that made the stay more convenient as we had a detailed information book to refer to. The problem with these type of resting areas is that there is no housekeeping. On top of that, we are required to sort out our own rubbish and help to throw them out. While in general, the housing seems to be adequately tidy and neat, we unfortunately got the unit with the rubbish chute directly outside. As such, there were many flies which defeat the purpose of having such an aesthetic view, given that we could not open the windows. On top of that, the previous visitors may have barbecued or cooked in the housing without turning off the aircon. As such the ventilation was pretty bad and we had to search for various means to reduce the uncomfortable smell.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable stay - This is the 2nd time we stayed at this accommodation abs the owner was very helpful and punctual in coming to meet us to open up the place and explained the facilities. He kindly helped us to call to book the restaurants we wanted to go to but lacked the ability to communicate in Japanese with the restaurants who don’t have online booking facility Some neighbours were inconsiderate and we could hear loud talking until close to midnight but this is something that is out of control for the owner.

It lacked privacy from the street thru the windows and therefore no outlook. It wasn’t very comfortable or relaxing for a long term stay but perfect for a short term stay as we had to shop for food to eat in and kitchen not really set up to cook and no cleaning products.

Host was very welcoming A little noisy with neighbouring guests. It took a while for the heater to heat up the room in the afternoon (coming back from snowboarding). The drains were noisy and had an odour. the bathroom was quite small, though manageable. Towels were quite thin. No hair conditioner.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great self contained accommodation! - The room is well laid out, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is small so it is a bit tricky to get change in the bathroom. But all in all we enjoyed our stay, and the hospitality of the hotel owner. We would stay again when visiting Furano again. Our only suggestion would be to change the spring bed in the near future as it is dipped/uneven. After a day on the mountain, it is hard on the back.

• Kelsey (9/5): Superb - The host was very helpful. He offered dinner suggestions for some really good food. The room was spacious and we liked that it had a kitchen and a refrigerator so we could get groceries and cook. Extra toilet paper could be stored in the room especially since the rooms were restocked daily.

• LoveFurano (6/5): - We booked for two nights based on the online info. The location is good, however after spending the first night in the house we realized that the bath room is very tiny that one’s arm constantly hit the wall during the shower, and the wet body will touch the dry toilet paper after getting out of the tub. This might be the reason that there is no photos of the bathroom shown online. Also the water heater generates some smell in the whole house when the unit is turned on, although it looks very new. The linens are very old. To us the property should be called cabin, far from a house.

• LN (10/5): Great place to stay for a few days! - Super clean room. Parking available. Very good host who explained how to use all the appliances/switches in the room upon checkin. Better to have your car to travel to sight-seeing places. Rooms are not super sound-proof though not very noisy either. Would definitely stay here again.

• Hermes (10/5): a very cozy wood house - We love this brick house very much. It’s very cozy, inside is wood so it’s warm too. The location is quite convenient than I though, there’s 7-11 and post office nearby. The landlord is very nice and very helpful!
• Verified traveler (10/5): - This was a fantastic place to stay in. The owner was very friendly and explained everything in English. The place had a cabin lodge feel, with a loft bed as well. It also comes with a kitchenette, so some light cooking is possible. Not that it is necessary though, as there are plenty of food options nearby, many within a 15 minutes walk. Perfect place for 3-4 adults to share. The only possible downside is that the toilet is tiny, but that is quite expected of Japanese toilets in general, so we were not too bothered by it.

It's accessible to everywhere in Furano, all places are just within a few KMs. A cosy small town which you can explore in the morning(jog or brisk walking).

The property is well maintained as the owner is really care about this property and keep explaining to the guests of how to use the facilities. The drawback is the guests are only allowed to check in within 4pm-7pm, and need to check out 10am.

• Yyeo (4/5): Not a good staying place - Room facilities not up to hotel standard eg. quality of toiletaries not good and only provided with old and very rough towel, bathing gel shampoo and conditioner no other things which we can find in even a budget hotel in japan. No privacy when talking as surrounding building structure no sound proof and can hear clearly when somebody talking at next door. Not convenience if raining day no shelter outside Check in and check out take too long as need to go through inventory check. Child stay asked to pay extra yen2700 per head Overall satisfaction: not worth of price we paid per night for more than $200 which we can stay in better hotel in japan.
