Ich komme wieder. - Ich war in dem Stand-Zimmer nicht in dem Hotelkomplex / Pool Bar und Strand direkt 20 m von meinem Zimmereingang. Der Service an der Stand Bar (Bare-Foot) und auch am Empfang war außergewöhnlich gut. Der Service am Pool ist nicht aufmerksam und denkt auch nicht mit. Das geht im selben Hotel deutlich besser-- siehe Standbar.

• Stephen (6/5): Comfortable stay. Policies need work. Staff AMAZING. - What I liked: The staff were fantastic – friendly, helpful, and easily the best part of the stay. They really carry the place. Overall cleanliness was good throughout the hotel. Food options at the hotel were decent with a good range to choose from. What I didn’t like: The hotel is quite dated and could really do with some renovations to modernise it, which affects the overall value. Taxi pricing advice didn’t match reality. We were told 700–1000 pesos to Olongapo City, but local drivers quoted much less (350–500). House rules were confusing. “No outside food and drink” actually allowed snacks and water, and the laundry rules sounded stricter than they really were. Clearer wording would help. Water provision wasn’t consistent. It was supposed to be daily, but only happened when housekeeping came and if we asked. There was a private event with live music near our room, but no heads-up or apology for the noise. Food at the hotel was slightly overpriced for the quality, especially given the restrictions on bringing in outside food. Some kind of guest discount would help. The sliding door in our room had a large gap and didn’t feel secure even when locked.

Zimmer müssen renoviert werden um mehr Komfort zu schaffen. Betten austauchen und das Bad erneuern, vorallem Wasserhahn und Duschbrause sehr veraltet. Haarföhn sowie Wasserkocher sind Kleinigkeiten, jedoch sehr nützlich für die Gäste. Badetücher austauschen- waren nicht mehr weiss sondern gräulich eher veraltet.

There are some policies I don’t like (about outside food,) for example. But I can understand why they are there. It’s a larger place so you have some corporate BS involved. It’s an older property but they have done a good job bringing it back up to standards.

• Mark (9/5): Lovely hotel with all the right facilities, perfect for bars and restaurants - I have stayed at this hotel 8 or 9 times now. Love rhis hotel. The only problem was the beach bar next door blaring out loud music at 6am and 5.20am during my stay. It's not the fault of the hotel they have such an inconsiderate neighbour but this could have a negative impact on their business.

I’ll search for something - There are 3 different restaurants including a nice bar near to recreation. A restaurant overlooking the beach and the food was not bad The location and first appearance from the entrance looks horrible and filthy.

• Solli (5/5): - Bassenget var veldig bra. Bra beliggenhet med muligheter for rom mot stranda. Rommet var ok, men dårlig vedlikeholdt. Prisen og kvaliteten på maten var ikke bra. Heldigvis var det mange steder rundt med god mat til en rimelig penge. Måtte bytte rom pga. Tett sluk og det var kakerlakker på rommet. Generelt dårlig vedlikehold på hotellet. Noe nedkjørt. Har vel sett sine glansdager.

Restaurant food is expensive :) The rooms that are on booking.com are the ones that are not kept well. The bathroom in my room have mold in the shower and have baby roaches ;( They do have a beachfront rooms that are on a higher price range.

The staff were mostly friendly and sweet, I think they know how awful the hotel is and feel unable to do anything about it! This hotel is end-of-life! Just don't book here, we ended up leaving half way through our stay. It's dirty, falling apart and very poorly maintained - in the main public areas, there are roof leaks everywhere. They will try and charge for everything! For example, they wanted money for a second pillow on the bed, for a replacement towel, for anything that isn't listed in their insane breakfast ticket system! For example, one of our group asked for toast and bacon at breakfast, and we got charged extra for it, because it wasn't on the ticket, even though the American breakfast (which is on the ticket) had bacon and toast in it! Stupid.

• Aaron (8/5): - It’s a clean and quiet place and the staff was extremely friendly. Just out in the beach there was a tent with Filipino food and drinks that were cheaper than I can imagine. We had a good time there and enjoyed our stay.

• Eric (10/5): Very great! - Hi, we recently stayed at Wild Orchid just yesterday. I really don't do reviews, but I'm amazed on how friendly your hotel staffs are. From the front desk to guards. The lady at the Moby Dick bar last night was very friendly and accommodated us until the closing time without rush. May I know her name if it's okay with her? You can remind her of us last night we're the family who's playing billiards until 11pm

Trying to overcharge even the reservation was done on the app. Lady asked more than double because I didn't pay online. After she gave me a room where the air conditioning was not working. Bad experience.
• Thomas (8/5): - Wild Orchid is a decent hotel with friendly staff, good food, great pool, and a nice location. My only complaints are minor but considering the price I paid, I'll mention them. The closet doors at first were stuck (immediately repaired), but there was never any hot water in the shower during our stay and the TV didn't have cable or satellite channels, only YouTube etc. The AM can be noisy with karaoke, loud music and some events in the garden, but over all the room was very spacious and modern with ample desk and table space. I'd stay here again.
