Can recommend doing a cooking class with chef Tina! The guest experience is what made the stay. They were happy to book restaurants and wine tastings on our behalf as part of the experience. Their resto reccs were brilliant and the local restaurant on the site is delicious. They upgraded our room free of charge and let us check out later which was much appreciated. Such a peaceful stay!!! Nothing all was exceptional

Wir haben ein tolles Zimmer bekommen, mit unglaublich schöner Aussicht. Wir konnten von unserer Veranda aus direkt über die Felder blicken. Das Restaurant benutzt ausschliesslich lokale Produkte und das Essen ist hervorragend. So schön, werden nur lokale Produkte verwendet. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Auch der Poolbereich fühlt sich speziell an, weil er so offen ist. Man sieht über alle Felder. Wirklich ein aussergewöhnliches Erlebnis. Der WC Ring war etwas kaputt / verschoben. Sonst alles super

Every single member of the staff were kind, courteous, friendly, and extremely likeable. Every interaction with staff was warm and friendly. They were absolutely looking after us in the most generous way possible, as they were super attentive and catered to our every out-of-the-ordinary asks and needs. When we had arrived, we were immediately greeted warmly and we felt welcome right away. We were also lucky to have been given a gracious upgrade to the honeymoon suite, which was incredible. The rooms were extremely clean, and the views of the surrounding areas were so verdant and lush with nature - pure green (Our stay was in Spring in early May). We definitely plan on coming back for our next getaway, and might not even go anywhere else! We give our heartfelt thanks to Inderpreet, Marco, and all of the staff that made our experience unforgettable! (We forgot the names of the 2 beautiful young ladies who assisted us every day. 1 gave me a towel with ice cubes to ice down my eye, which had gotten swollen either from an insect bite or an allergic reaction. For the other lovely young lady we managed to find and include a picture of a hand-written note of recommendations of places to eat she wrote out for us - which we absolutely loved!) Absolutely nothing I can possibly think of that was not up to par. Everything from the cleanliness, attentiveness of staff, and helpfulness was the best we could possibly receive. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

• Harry (10/5): Best stay we’ve ever experienced. - As a couple we’re frequent travellers, and we have said this is the best place we’ve ever stayed, ever. The views are breathtaking, the food (and wine) is the best we ate in all of Italy, and the staff we amazing. It’s a once in a life time place to stay - don’t miss out. It’s so out of the way of normal life, never felt so relaxed. Big thanks to everyone working at Locanda, for making our trip to Italy so special. Nothing - everything was perfect.

Nestled in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, the hotel offers breathtaking views that capture the essence of this picturesque region. The staff were exceptional, anticipating our needs and promptly responding to all our requests, from arranging wine tastings to making dining reservations. The rooms were beautifully appointed with luxurious amenities that blended seamlessly with the rustic charm of the surroundings. Our daughter was particularly enchanted by the unique bathtub in the living area, which provided stunning views of the rolling hills. The swimming pool was another highlight, offering a serene spot to relax with drinks on the deck chairs. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a gourmet experience. The need for reservations is a testament to its popularity, and the cuisine did not disappoint. We savored excellent meats and other Italian delicacies, complemented by an extensive wine list. Breakfast was a delightful buffet with a wide variety of options, including made-to-order eggs, enjoyed in the lovely outdoor seating area. Practical amenities were equally impressive, with ample free parking and an easily accessible location via maps. Overall, our stay at Locanda in Tuscany was a perfect blend of luxury and authentic Tuscan charm, earning a well-deserved 10 out of 10.

• Kemckinnia (5/5): Didn’t live up to expectations - The hotel was nice, however a little tired and quite uncomfortable. The outdoor area and pool were good The hotel was lacking in any charm and felt to shabby chic, it wasn’t comfortable and simple things like working WiFi, charging points by the bed or bedside table that you can actually use, only one working plug socket in our room, a luck luster breakfast, unhelpful staff and just general tiredness of the hotel.
• Peter (5/5): The fantastic location in the Val D’Orcia deserves better - Location Pool service No pool parasols and a lot of wasps in and around the pool Overpriced for basic accommodation ( 450 euro per night ) For diner the portions were too small and too expensive. The hospitality of the people in charge of the accommodation was lacking
• Verified traveler (10/5): Traumhafte Atmosphäre mit kleinen Störfaktoren - Die Location ist traumhaft! Wir waren vollkommen begeistert von der wunderschönen Anlage, der faszinierenden Umgebung, der geschmackvollen Einrichtung und dem eleganten "Vibe" der Unterkunft. Das Personal war freundlich und auch das Essen war top! Ebenso die Sauberkeit. Der einzige Nachteil des Zimmers war die relativ starke Zugluft und ein etwas störendes Rauschen aufgrund des Kamins im Raum. Für eine oder zwei Nächte OK, bei einem längeren Aufenthalt hätten wir uns wohl beschwert. Wir hatten zudem etwas Pech, da während des Dinners ein Videoshooting stattfand und die romantische Atmosphäre durch laute Drohnen über den Köpfen der Gäste gestört wurde. Am nächsten Morgen wurden wir durch Gestank eines Pestizides, das frühmorgens auf der ganzen Anlage versprüht wurde, geweckt. Die beiden Situationen können zwar vorkommen, jedoch hätten wir für ein eher luxuriöses Etablissement wie dieses eine Entschuldigung oder ein Entgegenkommen erwartet.

• Leslie (8/5): Very good - The restaurant was amazing and so was the restaurant team. The food was excelling, both dinner and breakfast. Very comfortable bed. For the price and being 4 star I think you should have screens on your windows so you can have them open without flies coming in. Also while our room was large there is no comfortable seating and has room for a small loveseat or a couple chairs. The nightstands are ridiculously small. I also thought someone would have had our luggage in or room upon our arrival and offer to come carry our luggage down on checkout morning - I mean it is a somewhat pricey hotel. We had to pay for 2 rooms as my son could not make the trip, and our friend had a 3rd room…I think it would have been nice to offer us a complimentary drink or something given we had 3 rooms that we paid for. Front desk staff was nice but not overly working to accommodate as we’ve found at other smaller places.

F&B offer; very disappointed with the breakfast, the pizza night was very little food with little wine for the price. the wine list is the exception - well done.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Simply beautiful - We had a lovely stay at Locanda in Tuscany. All the staff were fantastic and the views are just beautiful. The pool is very picturesque if a little bit cold but you soon get used to it. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was just perfect - the decor lovely; bed very comfortable and shower was fantastic. The breakfast was very good - traditional italian cakes with eggs available on request. We had to leave very early on the morning of our departure and we were left a small bag of food for the morning in our room the night before. The only thing that was a slight disappointment for us was the food in the restaurant in the evening - everything was very salty; quite expensive and not a huge amount of choice. You are not limited as although this is secluded, with a car, places like Bagno Vignoni and Pienza are easily accessible where you can get a lovely meal for a slightly cheaper cost. All in all, this would not deter us from staying here again as the hotel itself is simply beautiful.
• Verified traveler (10/5): 풍경이 멋지고 힐링되는 곳 - 매우 멋진 곳입니다. 스탭도 굉장히 친절합니다. 주니어 스위트 객실 2개 중 하나는 스위트로 업그레이드 해주셔서 2층을 사용했는데 매우 좋았습니다. 다른 하나인 주니어 스위트는 풀장하고 가깝고 객실은 훌륭하나 벌레가 많아 아쉬웠다고 합니다.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - This place is amazing. It is so beautiful and relaxing. The staff are exceptional. In the restaurant there, they were so accommodating for my gluten free food request. I did not feel deprived one little bit as they made me special breakfast items and dessert for dinner! The only thing that was wrong was that we couldn’t stay longer!

It has been lovingly restored with stylish touches. The rooms are quiet and well appointed and exactly like the photos. The staff are some of the most friendly we came across in Italy. We thoroughly recommend this as a great place to explore tuscany.
