Guest Reviews
- Sebastian (5/5): -
- Peter (8/5): - Location is in a leafy area of MC. There is a terrace to enjoy the evenings. The bird life in the accommodation is very active with humming birds. Fernando is a charming and helpful host. Not sure if the TV worked, perhaps the host could provide instructions. If it is hot overnight the lack of air conditioning could cause discomfort.
- Linda (10/5): A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We felt like Fernando was an old friend. - Our host, Fernando, made us feel at home and gave us a lot of information about the area. He made us an amazing breakfast every day. The garden is relaxing to sit in with many singing birds. Coyoacon is a historic and quiet area of Mexico City. We were just a few blocks from the Frida Kahlo house and a few blocks the other direction from Plaza Centenario.
- Ingrid (10/5): -
- Amy (10/5): A place to feel at home! We hope to return! - This was absolutely a charming place to stay, full of authenticity! We intentionally chose this neighborhood to be off the beaten path a little and have a more neighborhood feel. Our room was large and comfortable and it was considerate that each day the trash was removed, new water was left, and our bed was made! Breakfast was a highlight of the trip, the meals just kept getting better and better with different sauces and preparations. The host Fernando is a wealth of information and offers a genuine feeling that you are being welcomed into his home and the rich history of his city. Stay here if you want to feel like you are staying with family!
- Andrea (9/5): -
- Thomas (10/5): On reviendra vite! - Super localisation, accueil chaleureux, petit déjeuner délicieux et terrasse formidable ! Néant
- William (10/5): Small B and B where you get to meet incredible international fellow travelers over breakfast. - The host Fernando was wonderful. He accommodated our need for clean laundry although this was not a usual service. The included breakfast was different every morning and was great . In his career Fernando bhas owned restaurants. No complaints. All good.
- orit (10/5): - Wonderful place
- Sarah (10/5): We will be back for sure! - Fabulous breakfast with other guests, facilitated by the most gracious owner/host, Fernando! Beautiful, serene courtyard, and room decor was so pleasant.
- Colin (10/5): - Fernando was an incredibly nice and gracious host, absolutely beautiful accomodations and delicious breakfast. Cannot wait to come back
- Keiko (10/5): -
- Dana Longeway (10/5): Did I mention the breakfasts!?!? - If you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable stay in Mexico City then the area of Coyocoan is perfect. In this quiet, lovely residential oasis is the Maria Del Alma - and we couldn't have asked for a better home or host. Fernando was more than helpful and gracious and being an ex-restauranteur, every breakfast was a new and delicious culinary delight that will set you up for your day of exploring - definitely a bonus! Highly recommend!
- Kate (10/5): - What a beautiful balance of shared and private space in the home of the warmest hosts. I needed a day to work before jumping into full vacation mode. My little private patio was the perfect perch. I’ll be back again for more time in beautiful Coyoacán!
- Jonas (9/5): Quiet, safe and nice. Homemade breakfasts - Such a nice and quiet place. Feels like home away from home. Run by the nicest and most helpful guys. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Nothing to dislike
- Ann (9/5): Oasis en la ciudad! - Fernando and Jorge were fabulous hosts! Great location - we enjoyed the quiet garden and balcony and friendly exchanges with our hosts and other guests at morning breakfast (uniquely, authentically Mexican) /MDA house is an oasis in Coyoacan!!
- Tuomo (8/5): Good facilities, good breakfast. - Quiet location, comfortable. Nothing
- cassandra (10/5): Highly recommended base for both relaxing and exploring Mexico city - Great breakfast and hosts. A good base to explore Mexico City. I had a comfortable room (there are 4) within the hosts' sizeable house and garden in the Coyoacan neighbourhood - lovely, leafy place and felt like a home away from home. I am already hoping to return! The only thing I would change (which is true of most accommodation in Mexico) is to move from single-use plastic bottled drinking water to a reusable/refillable system.

- Keiko (10/5): I appreciate the stmosphare of the beautiful Mexican traditional jouse. - Host and the stuff were very welcoming and kind. Very well maintained traditional Mexican house had a wonderful atmosphere, there is a beautiful balcony and yard. The breakfast took at the patio was delicious and the little bird’s family sang for us! The Coyoacán are is the best artistic area in Mexico City, and we enjoyed walking around. This tiny hotel is a real gem!
- Miguel (6/5): Very uncomfortable - Appearance, location The room was on the ground floor in the rear of the property. There was no ventilation . Windows could not be opened. The room was very humid.
The ground around my room had patches of moldI. It was Very warm mid afternoon and very cold at night.
The house has no heat or ac. The shower was not comfortable to operate. Hot wadis not last long before it went to cold . This is a very attractive property that is also very old and has not been modernized. I left one day earlier.
. And I cancelled a future reservation.
To be fair, I am old, maybe younger guests would not mind this discomfort.
- Johan (9/5): -
- Myra (8/5): - Hele vriendelijke hosts en heerlijk ontbijt Het bed was aan de kleine kant.
- Guest (10/5): Gorgeous garden property with amazing hospitality (and breakfast) - 10/10 Recommend! - The location was perfect and very easy to find. Our hosts, Fernando and Jorge were absolutely amazing, kind and welcoming. Once we walked into the property through the archway - our chins dropped. It was stunning. The garden was beautiful and warm. The room was exactly what we wanted - spacious, bright and comfy. The outdoor patio was like a dream space to sit and listen to the birds in the morning. Even the hummingbirds stopped by for a visit. The bougainvillea's were gorgeous. Plant goals!
Breakfast was fresh, delicious and filling. We met another family staying on the property and had great conversations for breakfast both days. A chef's kiss on the food and service for breakfast. Way more than expected. The hospitality is 5 star worthy. The breakfast area was outside and was bright and warm with the morning sun.
The Maria Del Alma House is within walking distance of the mercado - great food and shopping - several parks including the Fuentes de los Coyotes park. Frida Kahlo museum and several others. And loads of retail & restaurants. An easy taxi ride to downtown to the plaza for more shopping and great food.
Overall - we will always choose this location when we return. Thank you Fernando and Jorge!! That we had to leave. :)
- Margaret (10/5): My home stay - Meticoulosly clean, nice staff , fantastic breakfast Everything was perfect
- Jennifer (9/5): Charming, warm, authentic, conveniently located - in the heart of a wonderful neighborhood. - Fernando is the owner of the property and he really is a wonderful host along with Jorge. They are both so helpful - with good ideas for what to see and do - and some insider tips. Strawberry jam to die for! Fernando was very communicative in advance of my arrival. As I was traveling alone to a pretty unfamiliar city, it was great to have someone I felt I could ask for information if things went wonky after I arrived. He's also a terrific cook with tasty meals and very accommodating of people's needs. Both he and Jorge speak English and Spanish, and probably some other languages :-) The room was cleaned and straightened daily. The property is very nice - old school charm. Nothing trendy, but very traditional and welcoming - thank you! Things to note, but not dislikes - as with the few houses that I've visited in the area (and according to friends who live there), lack of air conditioning and screens in fairly normal. The temperatures usually cool off enough at night so getting a good cross breeze going when returning for the evening was just fine.
Also water pressure is also something that is often lower in the area. It's quite usable, but if you need power shower you might want to call in advance to any place you're considering. However if you want authentic and a bit of the magic of Mexico, then it's just part of the experience.
- Belinda (9/5): Superb -
- Gabriele (10/5): Wonderful place - This is a beautiful place, and the hosts make everybody feel at home. Great freshly-prepared hot breakfast, fruit and good coffee. Wonderful room with sunny terrace in a green patio, room design reminiscent of the Blue House. Would definitely stay there again. -
- Leah (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (7/5): Great location, kind hosts, needs a little improvement. - The location was great, walking distance to the squares, museums, markets and many cafes and restaurants. I enjoyed the outdoor space where we could lounge in the sun. The hosts were very kind and helpful. I wanted to give this place a better rating because the hosts are so nice but there is definitely room for improvement here. The worst part of our stay was the shower. (We were in the “queen” room on the lower level). We had barely a trickle of barely warm water throughout our stay of 4 nights. It was quite uncomfortable and difficult to wash the shampoo out of our hair. Also the water took at least 10 minutes to get warm. Besides that there was only soap provided no shampoo or conditioner or anything else.
The bed is smaller than a true queen and is okay as far as comfort.
The floor made my socks dirty and one day we came back to no clean washcloths with our dirty washcloths, that were piled on the floor, rinsed out hanging to dry. This did not happen again after we mentioned it.
Breakfast was mediocre. It consisted of coffee, juice, good fruit, pieces of white bread, and varied Mexican eggs.
- Melina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melina (10/5): Exceptional - Maria del Alma offered an authentic Mexican experience in a beautiful home that has been in the owner’s family for over 100 years. We did not lack for anything during our stay - the house was located in a safe walking neighborhood, the rooms were extremely clean, fast WiFi was available, the showers had hot water, and you were even able to flush toilet paper in the restrooms. We also loved the fact that their housekeepers refreshed our rooms and even changed our bedsheets extremely often. It was a joy to wake up to breakfast and coffee cooked by the owner each morning, who was extremely intelligent and knowledgeable in multiple subjects. He was happy to give us suggestions for our itinerary and make sure that our stay was as pleasant as possible. A convenience store (where you can purchase packs of water, toiletries, and other essentials), many coffee shops and restaurants, a pharmacy, the plaza where a market is located, the Frida Kahlo Museum, and a tour bus stop were all located within blocks of the house, making this an ideal location for any tourists. We are so grateful to Don Fernando and Don Jorge for their hospitality and loved every minute of our time at Maria del Alma.
- Cherie (10/5): Exceptionally pleasant - Jorge and Fernando were so kind and helpful. The grounds are lovely; the location is ideal. Our stay felt so comfortable, safe and accommodating. It was a pleasant surprise that our room was cleaned and refreshed every day. The breakfasts were excellent; in 10 days we did not have the same breakfast twice, except every breakfast began with a delightful serving of fresh fruit. If I have the opportunity to return to Mexico City I would want to stay at Maria del Alma House! Hmmm...one night my husband ended up with numerous mosquitos bites. I had none! We did keep windows and even the patio door open for the fresh air. It would have been nice to have some programs like Netflix; I watched Mexican news channels instead!
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Kristine (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, nice staff, lovely breakfast We had a large room that was great but the double bed was small. I would suggest putting at least a queen bed there- there is plenty of room!
- Anne (10/5): Wonderful!!! - We had a wonderful 8-day stay at Maria Del Alma House. Fernando and Jorge are welcoming hosts and gave us good advice about things to do and see as well as practicalities of things like transportation. The room was comfortable and very clean, the patio and garden are delightful. Daily hot breakfast with fresh fruit was delicious. We enjoyed meeting and talking with the other guests over breakfast as well. Located on a quiet street, but very close to the central plaza of Coyacoan. Honestly, everything was great.
- Ashleigh (8/5): Sweet oasis in a great location - Fernando and Jorge were absolutely delightful and kind hosts. The property felt like a lovely oasis but steps away from all the places we wanted to be. The water pressure was just a trickle in the shower.
- Nina (10/5): I have to say this is one of the best places (and I travel a lot) that I have stayed. The hosts hospitality is top tier - The hospitality
Location
Hosts
Cleanliness There isn’t anything I did not like
- Marc (10/5): Family Style Breakfast - Very nice place, wonderful breakfast and very quiet, great location, great neighborhood, a little overpriced for the neighborhood, but I would recommend it very highly if you like family style breakfast in the morning with all the other guests.
- Howard (9/5): Superb - Fernando is a warm and gracious host; his breakfasts reflect his experience in fine dining. The property is gorgeous, the grounds well kept, the room and bed quite comfortable and the location, between Viveros and the center of Coyoacan and a few blocks from the Casa Azul, can't be beat.
- Valeria (10/5): Great stay, friendly staff - Es una casa tradicional de Coyoacán, los anfitriones son muy amables y accesibles Breakfast is only served for an hour (super early)
- Lea (10/5): Exceptional - This guest house is amazing! My room was huge and overlooked the beautiful gardens below, and it had a large terrace with lots of plants and birds - quite an oasis. The location is great, a few blocks from the center of Coyoacan but very safe and quiet. Fernando and Jorge were so welcoming and helpful.
- Alyona (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jannemiek (10/5): Exceptional - The owners are the most friendly and engaging people you can imagine. That and breakfast with the other guests was wonderful. It all felt wonderfully homey.
- Clarisse (10/5): It was a great choice and you should book this place if it’s available - The breakfast, the garden, the accommodations Nothing
- Caroline (9/5): Amazing stay in the heart of Coyocan - We had an amazing stay! Fernando and Jorge were very attentive hosts, always made sure we had everything we needed and gave us great advice for things to so and places to visit.
The breakfasts were delicious with freshly squeezed fruit juice, fresh fruits, toasts with jam, and a different hot dish of local breakfast food (homecooked by Fernando) every day.
The room was spacious, comfortable with all the equipment needed, including new water bottles every day. The balcony allowed us to enjoy calm moments with a view over the very pretty garden.
Lastly, the location is awesome, just a few blocks away from the main attractions in Coyoacan (Frida Khalo museum, main Plaza, market, etc)
Pick-up was also a breeze from the airport and there are plenty if Ubers in the neighborhood to go explore other places of the city.
Can't recommend this place enough! The only thing I would say is that there are no blackout curtains in the room so the room is very bright as soon as the sun is out. This could be an issue for some who want to sleep in or in the summer when the day is up early.
- Kleven (10/5): Exceptional - The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating - they maintain a charming home that feels like a garden oasis in the middle of Coyoacán. Each morning, they cooked us a delicious authentic breakfast, and for a small fee, they did our laundry for us. The room was clean, beautiful, and inviting, and we had access to a lovely balcony area. I can not overstate that the friendly staff were the best feature. They made us feel at home and relaxed in a city foreign to us.
I highly recommend staying here. My wife and I will certainly return someday. When we do, we will make fewer plans just to spend more time at the house.
- Dolores (9/5): Superb - Room was wonderful. Bed could have been a bit bigger Bed was small. Shower doesnt have alot if power
- William (10/5): A relaxing and facinating introduction to a beautiful part of Mexico City - The host, Fernando, was wonderful. He prepared a delicious breakfast every day and provided us with all kinds of local knowledge. Room & patio were peaceful and comfortable We liked everything
- Patrica (10/5): My home in Mexico City! - Terraces, ambiance, location near markets and Frida Kahlo museum. Hosts wonderful.
- Alice (8/5): We had a good time in Mexico City and our hotel was a private home that was turned into a hotel - The breakfast was wonderful and it was outside on a patio. Coffee could have been better.
- Jeffry (9/5): Superb - Breakfast was great, bed was good. The location offered a quieter more serene stay. Host was very nice and wanted to make sure we were enjoying our stay
- Stephano (9/5): Warm, welcoming, humane + outstanding breakfast, - Fernando and Jorge are very pleasant, gentle and nice persons … Nothing to mention
- Alicia (7/5): Overall It was a nice stay but I expected a better quality for the high daily rate. - The host Fernando and Jorge were very kind and eager to satisfy our requests. The gardens are beautiful as well as the terrace. Breakfast was excellent and every day it changed. The location is perfect and close to the center of activities in the old town. It is more a high end bed and breakfast place. The hot water was not constant. There was no ilumination in the yard and when we came in late in the evening we had to use our phones to see our way into the room. The owners should install some light outside. The bathroom was too dark, damp and cold. The room furniture should be revamped. The matress and pillows were too soft. The TV set is just a litle monitor, hard to see the picture and to listen to it. I recommend they buy a TV set more convenient in terms of size.
- Marsha (10/5): Home Sweet Home in Coyoacán! - This gorgeous homely property was a delight and Fernando an excellent and charming Host. Only footsteps from the legendary Frida Kahlo museum and a short walk to the centre of beautiful Coyoacán. It was lovely to stay in a more intimate setting than large hotels. All the guests could breakfast and chat together. Giorgio (George) looked after us all at breakfast exceptionally well.
Our blue room with terrace was like our own Casa Azul!
- Christopher (8/5): A lovely place to stay where you feel very welcome - It has a great location in Coyoacan. It is a lovely building with attractive inviting rooms. The bed was very comfortable in a spacious well decorated room. The woman doing room service does and great job with daily cleaning and remaking the bed. It's nice touch.
The breakfasts are really good, and add a special touch to staying there. I found myself feeling pretty cold for the first couple of nights, when temperatures in the area dropped. It would have been nice to have had a wall heater. I didn't use the small portable electric heater over night, since there have been a reports of the danger of these heaters tipping over.
And, the shower drain wash partially clogged.
- Francisco (10/5): Perfect stay in coyoacan - Location No AC
- Alice (9/5): Great City, great food, great attractions, great stay. - The room is basic but comfortable and very clean. There's a wonderful adjacent patio. Every morning an incredible breakfast. The hosts Fernando and George couldn't be nicer. A few blocks walk to the Coyoacan Zocalo, hopping during Day of the Dead. A million restaurants, plus a nearby market. The drawback of location is that museums, town center are far. We did use the metro, metrobus, an a couple of the smaller buses. That can be confusing, so we'd more often than we thought used Didi. I highly recommend that app, also have Uber as an alternative. NEVER TAKE A METERED CAB unless no other options. You'll pay 3 times as much in metered taxis. Coyocan is lovely, but if you're interested in the main cultural activities of the City, you might want to stay in Roma Norte or Sur, La Condesa or el Centro. Definitely Mexico City is one of the great cities of the world. We'll be returning for sure. Maybe just the distance to central attractions, but honestly also loved Coyocan. Not much not to like.
- Margo (8/5): Very good -
- Romaguera (10/5): Maria del Alma - Fernando and Jorge were amazing hosts. The property was beautiful
- Jean (10/5): Quiet sweet hideaway in Coyoacán. - This little hideaway is just perfect. Your hosts are so sweet and breakfast was delicious. My room was spacious and quiet, and the location is ideal. I really recommend this place! Loved everything about it.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb -
- Amelia (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast is delicious😍
- Christina (10/5): Our stay was pleasant, the hotel is beautiful and our hosts were kind and welcoming - The hosts were kind and helpful I liked everything
- Babcock (10/5): Exceptional -
- Evelyn (10/5): - Fernando & Jorge made us feel right at home. They are very accommodating. I will definitely come back to stay☺️
- Pablo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cecilia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christina (10/5): Beautifully kept house that made us feel right at home in Mexico. It felt safe and there was a lovely breakfast each mor - Beautifully kept garden and fabulous breakfast. The room was cleaned every morning and we had a balcony to relax and overlook the garden. There was a bit of an ant issue in the bathroom, but it seems the house cleaner noticed and got rid of them because we didn’t notice them on our last day. It was also a bit hot at night so we had to leave the balcony door open to let in a breeze.
- Hannah (10/5): Beautiful gardens, delicious foods, inspiring art and atmosphere - I stayed at Maria Del Alma House for 5 nights of my two week Mexico trip. I am so glad that I chose to stay in Coyoacán for the “see and make art and chill” part of my trip because the vibe and energy is very relaxed compared to other parts of Mexico City. I loved walking around the neighborhood— close to Casa Azul (Frida Kahlo museum), Trotsky museum, El Historico (large shady park with tree nursery), many smaller parks and squares, artisan markets, and historical sites. I also enjoyed visiting many cafes and checking out the vibrant street art that decorates many buildings and walls all around. Public transit is easy and cheap and Uber can get you anywhere in the city (beware of unpredictable traffic, though!).
The house and garden are really lovely. I enjoyed having breakfast each morning on the patio— always fresh fruit and juice, delicious coffee, pan and jam, and a unique hot dish created by Fernando (a former chef). I was so well fed that many days I could wait til dinner for another meal. Some days I just ate multiple snack meals so I could try many things (check out Tostadas Originales at Mercado de Coyoacán). Fernando makes great conversation and offers suggestions and help when making plans. His staff work hard to keep the entire place so clean and comfortable. My room was very comfortable and had everything that I needed. It was very spacious which allowed me to unpack and settle in a bit with my books and art materials, and that made it extra comfortable. I would highly recommend and hope I get to return again someday.
- Christer (10/5): Exceptional - Kind and informative hosta. Large room with nice terrace, garden and lounge with parrots. Delicious breakfast with fresh fruit. Perfect location close to the Frida Kahlo museum, the market and the Cyoacan center. Nothing
- Laura (10/5): Lovely, welcoming and friendly place to stay. Fantastic hosts. - Each morning the breakfast was different and always delicious. The homemade jam was awesome, if it was available to be purchased, I'd buy some for myself and bring back more as gifts for friends/
- Victoria (10/5): Beautiful atmosphere, Great hosts, Superb Experience - Fernando and Jorge were superb hosts. The beauty of the garden and patios and the symphony of birds each morning all created a respite from busy bustling Mexico City. The delicious breakfasts made by a superb chef surpassed our expectations. We felt happy, ready, rested to meet each day in Mexico City because we were under the watchful wings of Fernando and Jorge. -- Victoria Wish our internet in our room had been a bit better. We stayed in the middle room which I understand is between two sources....but otherwise I understood it is fine for everyone else.
- Colleen (10/5): Wonderful! - The location was ideal and the place was charming. I enjoyed the quiet outdoor spaces. Internet was very quick and stable. I would prefer a bit more water pressure in the shower.
- Evelien (7/5): A place with character in a good location - Great location in Coyoacan: a very short walk from the Frida Kahlo museum. The room was clean and spacious and I enjoyed the creative and personal decoration. It definitely feels very unique and not like your average hotel or guest house. The garden was also nice, it has a family of little hummingbirds and nice flowers and some places to sit. Breakfast was alright and sufficient. The owners were friendly and welcoming. Overall I can recommend staying here. Unfortunately the hot water didn’t work when we were there so we had to take a cold shower. When we mentioned it to the hosts, they said to leave the water running for a long time to allow it to get warm, but we had done this (and tried both taps) but that didn’t work. This was probably an exceptional situation and just bad luck for us. The hosts did offer us a discount on our next stay which is nice but it would have been more useful to get the discount directly because the chances of us traveling to Mexico again in the near future are minimal given that we are from Europe. In either case I would recommend the owners to provide guests with this instructions for the shower if that is what is required to get hot water. Another minor thing is that you can only pay cash here. We used USD and were told we would get our change in Mexican pesos the next morning. Not sure why it could not be given to us directly. The next morning they forgot to give it to us. We didn’t ask for it because we didn’t want to make a point of begging for small change but at this price point I would expect the handling of the bill to be done a little more professionally.
- Rollin (10/5): Exceptional - It is a lovely property. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff friendly and very helpful. Nothing
- Claire (10/5): - Fernando and Jorge were great hosts; beautiful room and great breakfast.
- Alvaro (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is very friendly, Fernando is a great host, the rooms are incredible and the breakfast is another level. The only bad point for us that we solved first day is that the property does not have access 24h and due to security reasons you need to call for getting in later than 10 pm. I think they should find the way to allow entrance 24h and then will be the perfect spot!
- Amaury (9/5): Superb -
- Manuel (10/5): It was my second stay and I hope to return. - The friendliness of the owner and staff. The breakfasts in a common table with other guests in the garden. The location. Nothing

- Peter (6/5): excellent area to stay, felt very safe but facilities are in need of updating - The breakfast was good but limited. The area felt safe and was very pleasant to walk around The facilities are in need of updating, especially the electricity connections. The shower had very poor water pressure and was not hot enough. 2 pin electric plugs instead of 3 pin. Poor communication on arrival at property in the evening.

- Rah123 (10/5): A gem in Coyoacan! - Wonderful hosts! The house and the rooms are very pleasant (and the bed comfortable). The breakfast is fantastic with variety every day. The hosts went out of their way to kindly accommodate my early arrival and late departure - much appreciated. I will definitely come again. I stayed for 6 nights and loved having Coyoacan as my base. As a solo single woman traveler, I felt very comfortable and safe. all good!
- Jamie (10/5): Pleasant haven in the city - This is a lovely, quiet hacienda just minutes from the bustle of Mexico City. The rooms are comfortable and roomy and the hosts are gracious and welcoming. They serve a delicious breakfast every morning with homemade dishes, like Huevos Rancheros, always accompanied by fresh fruit and coffee.
Coyoacán has many restaurants, cafes and shops close by, and the Hisorical Center is accessible by bus, metro, taxi or Uber. It's nice at the end of the day to return to a quiet haven. It's also nice to wake up in the morning to fresh air and the songs of birds. To get to downtown Mexico City, you need to take the bus, Metro, a taxi or an Uber. I preferred staying in a quiet neighborhood, but if you prefer being in the midst of the busy, touristy area 24/7, this may not be the best place for you.
- John (10/5): Highly recommended for an authentic B&B experience right in the heart of Coyoacán. - The proprietors were kind and thoughtful and they made excellent breakfasts each morning. Really made me feel at home in CDMX.
- Claire (10/5): My daughter and I were sad to have to say good-bye. We cannot wait to stay again! - The hosts made us feel as if we were among family. Fernando and Jorge are gracious and welcoming. The house is beautiful and felt like a home-away-from home. The breakfasts were always delicious! I can't think of anything that would make this property or our stay better.
- Ryan (10/5): An oasis in Mexico City. - Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. Beautiful gardens.
- Peggy (10/5): Exceptional - Fernando and Jorge were wonderful hosts. Their beautiful home was a perfect base for exploring Mexico City and a quiet retreat from the noise of the city! I will recommend their home to all my friends.
