- Gyalpo Lepcha (8/5): Had a comfortable stay overall. The hotel was clean. - Near to the airport, easy access to near by restaurants and saloon. One thing I personally didn’t appreciate was being approached and asked to write a review on the spot, this was the second consecutive time I had experienced the same I literally had to assure her I will write it. This is only making guests feel like they’ve been given a deadline to complete, which may feel a bit uncomfortable for me at least. Reviews should ideally be left to the guest’s own choice and experience. If the hotel continues focusing on improving hospitality and guest satisfaction, positive reviews will naturally follow on their own. Things like switch board was broken while I was checking in there must be a room inspection done before the arrival of the guests those are essential.
- Deepa (1/5): Utterly frustrating, noisy and no value for money. - Nothing is fine. Horrible place. I was given a room which was stinking and had to get it changed. The intercom and phone were not working. The corridor outside the room was noisy at 3:00 a.m. I had to carry my bags from my international travel with no trolley or help. I ordered fried eggs well done during breakfast, and what was served was utterly atrocious (ill done, tasteless). The masala tea was pathetic. When I mentioned the issues during check out and asked to talk to the Duty Manager, the DM did not even attempt to talk; he did not even take the effort to move from his chair and sent someone else to say sorry for the phone not working. Very pricey but no value for money.
- Ellery (7/5): - Easy stay arriving from the airport after travelling a long way. Khushi was extremely helpful at check out and left me with a good impression of the hotel. Upon check in and later in the evening, I felt that some of the staff was dismissive and not very helpful - not sure if that had to do with me being a backpacker. The dinner buffet was good, however I wanted to order à la carte but they insisted I eat at the buffet. The cost was 3600 rupees, which was not worth it in my opinion.

- Karen (8/5): Lovely and restful stay - very helpful staff - The location of the Pride Plaza Hotel is very convenient, and the property itself has a beautiful interior. I also really appreciated the cleanliness throughout the hotel. Most of all, I want to acknowledge the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help, support, and find solutions where needed. The room service was also excellent, and everyone we interacted with was kind, professional, and attentive. I would like to share some feedback regarding our check-in experience. At first, we were offered an upgrade to a king bed room with a bathtub instead of the twin bed room with a shower that we had booked. I asked if it would be possible to see both rooms before deciding, and Vipan at check-in kindly showed us both options. He explained that the twin room he showed us would be the same room category we could get, just on a different floor. Based on that, I chose to stay with the twin room and passed on the upgrade. However, upon entering our assigned twin room, it was clearly not the same category or standard as the room we had been shown. There was also a musty smell in the room. When I asked about the possibility of moving to another room, this was arranged, but unfortunately that room had the same smell. During this conversation, Vipan mentioned that we had booked a “basic room” and asked what more we expected. I did not agree with this approach, as we had booked a deluxe room, definitely not a basic room. And regardless of the room category, no room offered to guests should have a musty smell. It should be neat, clean, and fresh. That being said, I do want to express my sincere appreciation for the way the situation was eventually handled. We were transferred to another room, which matched the standard of the room we had originally been shown and promised. I really appreciate the help, support, and flexibility of the staff in resolving this.

I came to order an Egg and he was talking at a corner, when he see me he did came and he say i must order thru him, i did order and then go to my seat and wait for about 10mins No Egg and other guests was served, i then go to enquire and he CHALLENGE me that I never ever order any Egg from him which is very Bad, this can be check from the Camera! I am also a Boss and employee like him only the Doors out is good for your Hotel reputation!! YOU NEVER EVER CHALLENGE A GUEST AND IF YOU HAVE DO A MISTAKE, BEST IS TO EXCUSE.

- MIHAELA (5/5): - Les lits étaient confortables, la chambre propre et la location à proximité de l'aéroport dans un cartier correct, mais ça s'arrête la.... Je m'attendais à plus d'attention aux détails pour un hôtel 5 étoiles. La douchette étais cassée. Dans la chambre l'air était lourd, chargé d'humidité et avec une légère odeur de moisissure.. La lumière dans le placard ne s'éteignait pas et dérangait car la porte du placard ne se fermait pas complètement. A minuit, apres un vols de 9heures, en essayant de remettre l'interupteur pour régler le problème, je me suis pris une decharge électrique... Il y avait une piscine , mais pas de vestiaire pour ce changer à côté, ni de robe de chambre pour pouvoir retourner dans la chambre sans mouiller les habits. Enfin la liste peux continuer, mais la cerise sur le gâteau c'est le moment du check-out, quand on m'annonce un reste à payer quelconque à haute voix; je passe la carte en sans contact, mais elle refuse de marcher et réclame d'être introduite; quand la machine tourne vers moi, je constate que le montant à payer est different de quelque centaines de roupie....en faveur du hôtel biensur... même si le montant n'était pas extraordinaire, j'avoue que le principe me dérange beaucoup...

- Alexey (8/5): - Good location, new building and everything is in a good condition My reservation was canceled with words ‘we are fully booked, but we can offer you a room twice more expensive’ Was too tired to try to find another hotel. As most indian hotels - it is dirty. Windows, mirrors, tv screen, tea drops on the wall, even toilet bawl 🤷♂️

Ich habe nach eine ruhige Zimmer gefragt, und habe eine mit Lärm vom Restaurant Viertel erhalten. Auch fängt Frühstück um 6.30, nicht praktisch für Frühflüge

- Zoe (9/5): Great stay, clean room, and great owner. Would highly recommend! - Good location- 10 minute walk to the Golden Temple. The room was clean and service was good. When I needed something the front desk was quick to answer and help me. Harman was great. As a solo female traveller, I was nervous getting to Amritsar by bus at 10pm. I spoke to Harman and he organized a taxi to pick me up and take me to the hotel. I was also a bit weary of walking to the golden Temple in the night- Harman walked me there and when I was walking home he saw me and gave me a ride back to the hotel. He also organized a private taxi to take me to the sites around the city which was great due to my limited time there. The other two employees did not speak any English so it was difficult to communicate with them when Harman wasn’t there. However, they would call Harman and I could talk to him directly so it was not an issue.

- Rajesh (4/5): Unacceptable Treatment During Family Stay – Will Not Return - Breakfast selection was good. Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The hotel is priced higher than comparable options, so we expected a higher standard of service. Instead, the staff were rude, argumentative, and made us feel very unwelcome. They even attempted to cancel our booking, which was completely unacceptable. As we were travelling with a young family, this caused significant stress. We will not be returning.

- Gion (3/5): Disappointing! - Safe location as close to the airport as you can be. This id definitely not a place to relax and enjoy i.e. at the end of your vacation. 9 sunbeds for up to 1000 guests!! You wanna chill in the evening outside and have a drink? There is a narrow aisle with 4 smal tables. Thats it. Just because of some marble this is not worth the name Plaza. Waiting in lines for everything, unfriendly personnel and overpriced. Not worth the dime. Look better for the other grand names.

I did arrive at 2:30 in the morning and my air conditioning wasn't working and instead of giving me another room straight away they wanted to send a mechanic, but I wanted to go to sleep. Eventually I got another room but they should have offered this straight away,
