Debbie (8/5): Exactly what we wanted for a four-night golf break - Calm, relaxed, friendly atmosphere with plenty to do, good food and ideally located for walking to two golf courses and short taxi ride to Tavira. Inevitably a nearly 20 year old hotel is starting to feel a little tired and could benefit from some refurbishment of the rooms. Not a problem, just an observation!

Nina (9/5): Wunderbarer Familienurlaub mit vielen Sportmöglichkeiten. - Wir waren früher schon häufiger dort, jetzt nach 15 Jahren wieder mit unseren drei Kindern, wir lieben die wunderschöne Anlage, der Baumbestand ist nun richtig groß geworden und bietet wunderbare Schattenplätze. Die Sportmöglichkeiten sind super und die Möglichkeit draußen zu sitzen großartig. Viele beschweren sich darüber, dass der Weg zum Strand beschwerlich ist, aber der Club liegt in einem Naturschutzgebiet und hat dadurch eine einzigartige Lage mit Alleinstellungsmerkmal. Wenn man es einmal auf die Sandbank geschafft hat, ist man am wunderschönsten Strand ganz für sich.

Die Golfplätze waren in einem erbärmlichen Zustand und dafür viel zu teuer. Die Anlage des Robinson Club ist insgesamt renovierungsbedürftig.

Eva (6/5): - Lage absolut super - Alleinlagen direkt am Meer. Bei Ebbe könnte man auf vorgelagerte Sandbank gehen. Beachbar ein Traum. Vogelparadies. Gutes, abwechslungsreiches Sportangebot. Total ruhig, 1. Stock mit Südbalkon Zimmer: Ameisenplage im ganzen Hotel. Boden im Bad richtig dreckig (das mögen die Ameisen) Essen echt lieblos. Es fehlen Köche. Robs im Showcooking können nicht kochen. Rindfleisch als Schuhsohle, Hummer trocken, Portugalabend ohne Tapas?? Der Hammer: Lebensmittelvergiftung f ca. ein Drittel der Gäste. Rezeption nicht hilfreich, vertuschte. Muschelvergiftung am 09.01.26? SCHADE Ich musste krank heimreisen. Es war nicht möglich, mich im Transfer Heimreise auf vorhandenen Bus zuzubuchen. Also eigener Bus gegen 70 Eur. In München nochmal 220 Eur Taxi f Heimfahrt, weil ich nicht senkrecht sein konnte wegen Magenvergiftung.

Das Hotel war ausgebucht. Es waren viele Gruppen da und die Speiseräume sehr unruhig und laut . Abendprogramm sehr dürftig. Einen direkten Strand gibt es nicht .

Gerhard (6/5): Wir konnten uns gut erholen. - Tolle Lage und ein hochmotiviertes Personal. Verglichen mit anderen Robinson Clubs war das Essen nur Durchschnitt, viele Bereiche renovierungsbedürftig, somit ein schlechtes Preis Leistungsverhältnis.
guy (9/5): Fantastisch - De locatie is fantastisch met het golfterrein er direct naast en mooie plaatsen als Tavira en Olhao kortbij. Verder is het eten bij alle maaltijden (en ook tussendoor) steeds van uitzonderlijke kwaliteit, heel divers, meer dan voldoende en steeds verzorgd. De all-in formule is effectief all-in, tot zelfs cocktails toe. De wellness is super met 2 sauna's en een hammam. Twee keer een massage genomen. Die is redelijk prijzig maar ook een aanrader. Alle personeel is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam. De gehele accommodatie is supernet en wordt dagelijks onderhouden. Ik kom zeker terug. Enige minpuntje was dat de airco niet echt werkte. Navraag aan de receptie leerde dat dit kwam omdat we in de overgang van warme naar milde temperaturen zaten en dat omwille van ecologische redenen de airco centraal 'lager' werd gezet. Men wou zeker op de kamer zelf even checken of de airco wel werkte, maar dat heb ik zo gelaten. Het was zeker doenbaar maar ik hoop dat dit einde mei 2026 zeker in orde zal zijn.

Alles beviel! Eén dame( Kirsten) bij de receptie was erg onaangenaam: wij hadden 4 kamers en de laatste dag was de vraag: kunnen we één kamer een uur langer hebben dan kunnen we nog volleyballen? Het antwoord was dan moet je 55 € extra betalen, dat vonden wij zo inflexibel.

Hannah (8/5): We had a lovely stay celebrating some special occasions with some friends. - Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Lovely pool with view of part of the golf course. Staff were friendly. Not too far to walk down to the beach area. Lots of options at the buffet for breakfast and dinner. Best dinner was when they did a street food style buffet outside. Fun activities like Pilates, water aerobics etc Rooms were a bit dated and could do with a refresh for the price you pay. Dinner sitting was only 2 hours compared to the much longer sittings for breakfast and lunch. hard to get a table outside or where it was cool especially If you want to sit with friends or family group. If you were later to dinner not much left.

Robert (8/5): Very relaxing time. - Staff - excellent, friendly and helpful, whether restaurant, dining rooms, bar, shop, or cleaners. Our junior suite was good size with a large terrace, 2 sunbeds and table with 2 chairs. Large selection of different food at each meal, something for everyone. Laundry room for guests. Noisy fitness music and aerobics leader at the tennis centre near our room. Car park far too small, should be extended, there's plenty of room to the west. I thought that putting notices on guests' cars asking them to move in order to allow outside guests for the gala to park was very impolite and proves the car park is too small. Not enough light to see inside the safe.

Katie (9/5): British couple at Robinson Resort - We stayed here for 4 nights, the staff are brilliant, and while it’s a resort mainly for German groups we felt well looked after as a British couple. The food offerings were fantastic at breakfast and dinner, we found lunch to not be great but this was just our taste. The drinks selection is great, all inclusive wines were all lovely and the cocktails are vast. The facilities are great and the golf courses on site are well worth the visit. It would be great to have a shop with better offerings, the shop on site is clothes and a very limited amount of snacks and drinks. We thought there should be more water points too, as it is a pain to have to go to reception or the bar every time.

There is only the buffet option for food, however the food was great and they even had a street food dinner on Wednesday which was a very pleasant surprise.

JANET ANN (10/5): Great club hotel - Excellent stay at this German club hotel. Surrounded by golf courses and nature reserve. Food choice and quality were of a high standard. All the staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. Lovely walks along the coast line. Great sports facilities and evening entertainment was brought in and of a high standard. Will stay here again for a relaxing stay on the Algarve. E bike tour was friendly and we really enjoyed the experience.

Jay (8/5): Nice experience for a few days. Expensive. Lots of activities - Buffet meals were excellent with a variety of options. Excellent pool and pool-side bar and evening music and shows. Nice clean room. Nice laundry facilities at no charge. Took an Uber into town and very much enjoyed seeing the real Portugal. Absolutely loved the silent music night with headphones and people dancing to their own beat. We should have this in more places. Matthias the GM seemed like a true hands-on leader who tended to us non-Germans. In our 4 days there, there was almost 75% repetition in the buffet items. Beach was quite far away and the tide came in so that you could not always walk to it. For the included beverages: beer was good, wine okay and liquor okay. Were isolated from the locals and town - but i guess that is what to expect in most Robinson locations - per my brother who was with us, and who lives in Germany.
Kees (8/5): Prima hotel om te eten en te sporten. - Het eten was er heel erg goed. Jammer dat je buiten maar beperkte zitplaatsen had om te eten. Binnen was het absoluut veel te warm ( geen airco ). Slecht geregeld dus. De bedden vonden we het aller slechtst aan ons verblijf. Airco in de kamer was ook minimaal met veel lawaai en de douchekraan levensgevaarlijk. Strand was er eigenlijk niet op het hotel het leek meer een duinpan en dus ook geen verkoeling mogelijk, maar wel met een nette wc, die verder op het gehele complex ook maar minimaal te vinden is. Omgeving was verder wel erg mooi in de natuur met ook de golfbanen nabij, dus ook de grasmaaiers. Ook bijzonder de mooie stranden ( zonder wc ) waar je met een bootje heen kon varen. 5 km naast het hotel. Jammer ook van de dreun op de achtergrond rond het zwembad, bijna de hele dag. Sport was er wel van alles wat te doen.

Die Hotelanlagen sind leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und haben im Restaurantbereich einen erheblichen Renovierungsstau.

Beautiful position by the huge beach in the Ria Formosa Nature reserve. 2 golf courses and numerous sporting facilities. As usual great food with wide variety and availability. Language never a problem and staff always helpful and friendly.

Aceee (8/5): Excellent ! - Stayed here for my fourth time and have always used this as a golf base for playing Cima, Ria and Monte Rai, If you're thinking about staying here then I don't think you would be disappointed highly recommend. Excellent staff attitude in every area of the hotel, they are just so friendly and genuinely appear to want to make sure everything is okay for you. The food had a wide choice of options and was always very nice. Highly recommend.
