- Said (9/5): Bien - Animation Ras
- James (4/5): Not worth the hassle and money. - The pools and waterpark is good however the rooms/riads themselves are filthy. The rooms are covered in flees, we came back from a day out and there was a bunch of flees flying everywhere alongside the room we booked was not how it was when we got there, we booked three beds one being a kings bed and got 2 singles and a rough sofa bed accompanied by a rug of a blanket. The riad itself has no wifi and the TV does not work so we had to constantly sit at reception to get internet connection.
- Andrew (7/5): Very relaxing, once we got settled, but very far from amenities. - Staff were all really pleasant and helpful, especially helping my wife who needs to walk with a cane.
The hotel grounds are very calm and beautiful when you get far enough from the music blaring out.
The food was reasonable. As a vegetarian, the options are limited, but I managed.
The buggy rides back to our block were very welcome as it was as far away as it was possible to be. We were packed off in an overcrowded minibus for the first night of our stay, due to work being carried out in one of the blocks. The other hotel was very nice but lacking in facilities and although they fed us, we had to pay for water! The whole palaver was undertaken with minimum information.
Our friends took their kids to the mini-club for 2 sessions. The girl member of staff left on her own with the kiddies was very gloomy and obviously wanted to be somewhere else.
- Olivia (4/5): Animations Enfant décevantes - Logement, piscines, restauration ATTENTION!

- Nixie67 (4/5): Disappointing - Photos on TripAdvisor and Tui website were obviously taken a long time ago. The rooms were shabby and dated, the cleaners came in everyday and left a bottle of water which was appreciated but did not change the sheets once in the week we were there. There was no lighting in the accommodation block we were in the corridor from rooms 500 to 510 was in darkness and we had to use our mobiles for lights. The pools look great but the water was freezing. Too many flies about when sitting by the pool and when the poolside entertainment is taking place they crank up the speakers making it uncomfortable for those not taking part. There is only 1 restaurant, limited snacks were available in the bar outwith meal times but no ice creams or things like that available outside the restaurant, food was very repetitive and restaurant often seemed chaotic with no organisation of seating and children literally running, one even on roller skates! aound the buffet. For all inclusive the choice and availability of food and drinks was poor. There is a shuttle bus to Marrakesh which runs several times each day, this is chargeable and needs to be booked at the activity centre. Although there is step free access in the main areas all of the toilet facilities were down several steps and several of the ramps are steep and difficult to walk down with sticks, would be even more difficult trying to control a wheelchair.
- mounirb (6/5): - Holiday vibes Needs a lot of updates
- Gibson995 (2/5): Won’t return - Paid for private transfer as we only had 2,5 days and wanted to make the most of every minute. Arrived at 12 noon, asked to return to reception in 2 hours for key. During that time we had access to the restaurant. Watched someone knock a glass over at the bar and glass was left lying on the ground while kids wandered around. Flies everywhere.
Returned to reception 2 hours later to be told there wasn’t a room available for us, we’d be transferred to another hotel. Taken to a hotel and left there with nobody knowing why. After 2 hours of making calls were told we’d been taken to the wrong place. Complete shambles and ruined our break.

- sue240177 (8/5): Great hotel - Staff really nice, very helpful. Lots of banter with the bar staff. Entertainment team work very hard.
Food was different each day, lovely salads.
Place is spotlessly clean, even the toilets next to the pool!
We spent most of the days at the Mango pool.
Mozzie and flys are hungry so take spray!
- Safari14178868786 (10/5): Top - Superbe! Equipe au top. On recommande
Ghany kiki mario joe sophy fedoua et heba
- H8527RUchrism (10/5): Family holiday - Best holiday we have ever had. Staff excellent, especially the kids club staff, kiki, heboch, sophie and katy. They created so many amazing memories for the kids. Great facilities and lots of choice at meal times. Will be back. I am a travel agent and would highly recommemd this hotel.
- gavinwB5406JD (2/5): Horrific - This is truly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
The pool area is filthy with empty plates and cigarett butts, the food is inedible, the entertainment unwatchable ( non in English at all)
Staff rude and in helpful
Thank god we are only here for 4 days
Prison would be better
Do not book and if you have cancel quickly
- 364georgias (8/5): Overall experience - Staff are very friendly and loving. They bonded well with my little girl and made her feel comfortable. She had a great time. Rooms are standard, cleaned daily and regular bottles of water given too which is good! Entertainment programme runs everyday and plenty for all. Only thing I would say that’s a negative is the lack of food options as each day is pretty much the same and all inclusive drinks are very limited too. But overall, staff made the experience for us!
- N767DThollym (10/5): Te - Very clean hotel and plenty of good food. Lots of very helpful staff and fabulous animation team specially fadwa with her big smile , had a few issues but rectified quickly and efficiently

- sandraaN836MW (10/5): Amazing holiday - We were really looked after by fadwa, the room was lovely, food was brilliant, not keen on the entertainment, but the company we had made up for it, fadwa made sure every day, that we were enjoying our holidayp
- sarahtG6647TR (10/5): Recharge days - Food excellent hotel clean and tidy
A little disorganised on arrival with bedding but rectified after an hour or so
- TrailBlazer721101 (10/5): Morrocco - I am here now the hotel is lovely, staff are amazing very helpful, animation team are excellent especially Fadwa. Food is good plenty of it.
They would be a good idea to put a toot toot on to take disabled to and from aquapark
- Trail828634 (6/5): Not great - Arrival
We arrived around midday, but check‑in wasn’t available until 3pm. As this was a package holiday with EasyJet, I found it a little surprising. If you’re arriving early with a tour operator, be prepared to wait. That said, it wasn’t a big issue—wristbands were issued straight away, so we used the time to explore the hotel.
The Grounds
The grounds are pleasant and reasonably well kept. Nothing spectacular, but clean and inviting enough to enjoy a stroll.
Facilities
It’s clear the resort has invested in activities: paddle boarding, tennis, football, volleyball. Plenty of pools and loungers spread across the property, so you’re not short of options to relax or keep active.
Accommodation
This was the weakest part of the stay. We were in block 500, and “in need of a revamp” would be putting it mildly. The air conditioning barely worked, ants in the room, holes in the walls, broken sockets, no toilet roll holder, and a soap dispenser just left on the sink. Exposed wiring with no bulb fitted didn’t help either. Honestly, the room felt closer to 1–2 star standard.
Food & Drink
The main buffet was often hectic, mostly because of its size, but the food itself was generally well cooked and tasty. The biggest frustration was the glass situation—it felt like a scavenger hunt trying to find one at meal times or the bar. Bars were fine but limited, and peak times got very busy. No table service, and again, glasses were scarce. My tip: bring a flask if you want to avoid the hassle.
Summary
Overall, we enjoyed our short 5‑day stay. For that length of time, the faults didn’t overshadow the holiday. Any longer, though, and I’d have been disappointed. The hotel has potential, but the accommodation and food/drink setup really need attention. Fixing something as simple as the glass shortage would make a big difference. If improvements are made, I’d consider returning—but as it stands, once was enough.
- 502pizzar (10/5): Great place - Fantastic in every sense, food is great, staff very good and helpful, I recommend this place for family holidays
- jeanie1959 (10/5): Fantastic hotel - After reading some of the reviews for this hotel, it actually made me want to swap not only the hotel but the location as well. However, I arrived here 10th/17th April with my granddaughters aged 15 and 6 to a thunderstorm that made us divert to Agidir. After finally arriving at the hotel we were taken by buggy to our room.
The room was large enough for the 3 of us and we were in 834 which is opposite the water park. It was clean and had plenty of sockets for our chargers. Even though it was after midnight, the hotel opened the restaurant and a great variety of salads was available for us late arrivals. The room was cleaned daily to a great standard by a lovely friendly young lady.
The rain continued over the weekend but didn’t dampen our holiday spirit as all the kids still played happily in the heated swimming pool which was amazing.
After the sun arrived and we’d explored the resort we actually couldn’t understand why this is just a 3* hotel. Every single member of staff we came across was polite, helpful and kind. The food was a great variety every day and had 2 microwaves, if like me you like things piping hot… do not get me started on the delicious desserts, the fact that I came home 4lbs heavier speaks volumes! The moral of the story is, don’t believe everything you read, this hotel is a little hidden gem, and I’ll be returning in September. We had an amazing time from start to finish. Thank you to the staff of this hotel that work long hours but keep smiling and nothing is a problem to them. See you all again soon. 🥰
- andotcom30 (10/5): Fab week - What can I say…. An amazing week had and so much so we already booked for same time next year.
All staff work endlessly and the animation team was one of the best we have seen. Times pumping all day atmosphere was fab.
Food didn’t disappoint and recommend the omelette at breakfast.
Cleaners are outstanding and our room was left beautiful every single day and fresh bottles of water left in room.
Only few things I’d maybe change. The bars ran out of glasses every night especially in sports bar! We found the bar quite poor. And where asked to pay for spirits but we are all inclusive.
We always bring our own juice cups so that was a blessing.
We loved our stay and definitely recommend ❤️
- P4397YDmeganf (2/5): Please don’t go to this hotel. - First of all, we didn’t even book this hotel, we actually booked Dar Atlas who separated us from our family and sold us this hotel as an adults only, and forced us to check in here instead, due to over booking because they were having refurbishments. To say these rooms are outdated is a pure understatement. They were completely nasty, unclean - not once did the bedding get changed, there was all sorts of insects, dead and alive hanging out in cobwebs in the bathroom, pubic hairs melts coming back up in the sink, mould around all of the silicone and even around where water comes out, the shower head was so bad that my hair would go greasy when I washed it, it wasn’t the water as it was fine in the outdoor shower. At one point we were not given clean towels, we chases this up 5 times with reception who kept laughing at us telling us different things, so we never actually got our towels, we ended up just checking out. There was a massive thunder a lightning storm with huge downpours, we were in Riad 8, so when we got to our disgusting room
The door wouldn’t even open, my friend had to walk back to reception laughing at him drenched. There was also no phone in the room. The balcony was so disgusting I wouldn’t even wear a hazmat suit to sit on it.
If you’re not French don’t expect to be treated well by staff, they’re completely discriminant, we
Asked for late check out, they’re told us every day to comeback, we did, on the day of departure they told us three times to come back at different times, to be told there’s none, but we watched a French family get late check out. The suitcase area is not secure and my case had been opened and a zip snapped, they couldn’t have cared less. The food was rubbish, we only had it here one night, it was so cramped and small. Every time I was in the room my throat and tonsils would hurt severely but when I’d leave it they would start to get better, so who knows what is wrong with the
Room. The lights to the stairs of the blocks never work at night so it’s dark and dangerous. I’d rather sit in a bath of acid then ever return to this abhorrent hotel. If you are British, please don’t
- 300muhammady (10/5): Amazing experience and excellent service - To be honest I was very skeptical after looking at the negative reviews however our experience was more than fantastic. Water park, pool were well maintained and staffed. Main pool was heated and aqua Park with multiple slides was so thrilling for the kids. Bar has constant service for drinks throughout the day. There was so much food variety for kids to pick and choose. Staff at the restaurants and servicing the rooms were very friendly at polite. Reception staff was always helpful.
Few suggestions, there should be map of the resort which should be handed over at start to get idea of where things are.
We arrived late at night and it was raining heavily, it would have been ideal if we were guided to our building and room.
The room that we were first allocated wasn't the best so the next day we changed to a different which was all good.
There is bus service to Marrakesh city which is cheaper than taxi available from outside. However it needs to be booked a day in advance.
Overall experience was good and good value for money.
- L7398BUpamelaf (2/5): If stay here be prepared. As it might be an experience that you never forget and not in a good way. - What an experience it was at this hotel, and not in a good way. After reading reviews I thought it can not seriously be that bad and it was.
At meal times you have to hunt for clean glasses and cutlery.
Staff mainly the men are so rude it’s unbelievable.
If you have a purple wrist band you are ignored by most of the staff. Check in on first day arrived after a flight delay man on reception was so rude, didnt even explain where we needed to go for our rooms, was just expected to find them.
When it says all inclusive it’s not, there is limited time you can get snacks and trying to order them at the snack bar is a challenge in self.
Only good thing about the hotel was the cleaning lady nabiela she was fantastic so friendly and accommodating to us communication was excellent, fresh towels every day.
Our rooms were in the block 900 and our rooms went to bad beds were comfy, had to turn the fridge of as was very noisy.
My advice if you are coming with children is pack water toys as the shops tried to charge me 500 dm for two rubber rings that you can get in Poundland for a couple of quid.
Bring water bottles also as they only provide one bottle of water per room per day.
There are water stations in restaurant where you can fill up them when they are working.
The weather was not great when we were there so we didn’t get the full entertainment package.
The water park is great kids loved it but not everything was open to access and they only had 8 rings for everyone to use, so kids had to wait until I had a word with the lifeguard as same family used them multiple times and quite a queue was building.
I dread to think how the hotel operates at the height of season with everything over all.
I reported everything that I felt needed improvement to the customer services manager.
This hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel I’d say it’s lucky if it got a 3 star rating.
The hygiene for cutlery and glasses is very poor staff rinse through a bowl then dry and put on table and disposable cups go through the dishwasher.
There was good and bad with the whole experience but I would never return to the VALERIA MADINA club resort again.
My grandsons loved the heater pool and the entertainment staff at the pool were excellent all friendly and welcoming.
I think that a hotel that has different coloured wrist bands for different nationalities says a lot about the place.
English is purple and other nations are turquoise and staff are more accommodating to the turquoise band wearers.
If you have booked the hotel just be open minded as your experience might be totally different to ours.
Taxis are cheap to catch to places.
My lot did the quads and said it was a great experience.
Make she bring insect repellent and plug ins as they were biting and very painful when they did.
- 618chantelleg (2/5): AVOID! Completely disastrous. Substantially below the required standard. - Our stay at [Valeria Madina] was a profound disappointment. Having read positive feedback prior to booking, I am in utter disbelief that this resort/ establishment has received any 5-star reviews; our experience was the polar opposite, defined by systemic failures and safety risks.
Furthermore, upon addressing several issues with staff and management the lack of care, concern and nonchalance was quite frankly appalling!
Critical Issues:
• Health & Safety: We were served dangerously undercooked poultry and encountered cockroaches and bird droppings in dining areas. Unlit pathways made navigating the resort at night hazardous.
• Accessibility: Management ignored our request for a room suitable for our autistic child, placing us hundreds of meters from reception in a location that caused him severe mental and physical distress.
• Facility Failures: No functional AC, no Wi-Fi. The constant failure of our room key cards was beyond frustrating, especially given the repetitive, exhausting treks to reception it required. One balcony was unusable due to nesting peacocks, and clean towels were rarely provided.
• Service: The "all-inclusive" bar frequently ran out of basic drinks and ice, some staff members were rude, and promised services never materialised.
This trip was a source of significant stress and financial strain. Given the professional standards expected of an easyJet Holidays partner, the reality of this experience fell abysmally short!
- Stay21959109302 (2/5): AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!!!– unsafe, unhygienic, and completely unacceptable - This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. What was meant to be a 40th birthday celebration turned into a stressful and genuinely concerning stay.
The hygiene standards were appalling. We were served undercooked poultry multiple times, which is a serious health risk. The dining area was infested with birds flying around while people were eating, leaving droppings on tables. We also saw cockroaches in public areas, and one of our rooms had a fly infestation.
Also the toilets and urinals were blocked and flooding onto toilet floor.
The hotel is poorly maintained and unsafe. Pathways were completely dark at night, making it dangerous to walk around the resort. The door to one of our rooms was so stiff it required full body force to open and close, which actually resulted in injury. Key cards constantly failed, forcing repeated long walks to reception.
We specifically informed the hotel about an autistic child in our group with mobility difficulties, yet we were placed far away from facilities with no consideration whatsoever. Combined with the lack of lighting, this caused real distress and could easily have resulted in a serious accident.
Basic amenities were either broken or nonexistent:
• No working air conditioning
• No Wi-Fi despite it being advertised
• Constantly having to chase for clean towels
• The bar regularly running out of drinks at peak times
Customer service was just as poor. Staff made repeated promises (like currency exchange “tomorrow”) that never materialised, and one member of our group was treated very rudely.
This hotel falls far below acceptable standards in every way—hygiene, safety, maintenance, and service. It should not be sold as part of a holiday package in its current condition.
AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST!!!!
- A3885BDandreag (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE!! - Arrived to have to wait 4 hours for a dirty room, then we had no toilet paper and no towels. The staff and management were informed and still unable to provide the standard of service they said they could
- Trek33150832316 (10/5): Amazing family holiday! - We have had an incredible holiday. The staff have been incredibly friendly - from the entertainment team to the housekeeping and waiting staff.
A big thank you to Ouma, Aziz, bono and Salah for making the poolside fun and keeping everyone entertained.
Very clean, lots of choice and overall am amazing option for a 3 star holiday.
Will definitely be back!!
- sadielady85 (10/5): A perfect stay! - We had a fantastic holiday here! There was plenty for the children to do and they had an amazing time. We went on many excursions which we really enjoyed and everyone was so kind and welcoming. The staff at the hotel cannot do enough for you, they went out of their way to be so kind and lovely. The grounds are kept so beautifully clean and the staff work tirelessly. The rooms were run down but the beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean, we only used the room to sleep so it was no problem. They are refurbishing the hotel rooms at the moment. We would absolutely return here, the only thing is if you have teenagers they might be upset that Wifi only works in the reception area but I really enjoyed not being contactable for 8 days for a proper break! We would absolutely return here it was a bargain!
- Navigator556604 (10/5): Wonderful holiday - We come here for a week for my niece's 4th Birthday. There was 11 of hs altogether, we had a fantastic week. The food was amazing. The entertainment was also amazing, they had entertainment around the pool throughout the day and the daytime/evening entertainment near the restaurant was brilliant. The animation team were all brilliant with the children and made such a fuss of my niece for her birthday. We will definitely be back! Thank you to all 😊
- TheCousins04 (10/5): Hopefully wonderful - We arrive in July family of 6... 2 rooms booked. Can't wait live Morocco. How do we ask for low rooms and near each other due to care needs... thanks in advance
- 202kristinef (6/5): Disapointing - The room lacks a coffee or tea station. A deposit of 300 dirhams is required to have a kettle in the room, which is provided but not with cups, spoons or tea/coffee making utensils. I always travel with my own coffee and sugar. One of the two room phones is functional but the number is unavailable for calling reception.
Wi-Fi is only available near the front door. And the reception area and bar.
The snack bar offers limited options primarily pastries and frequently runs out of beer and wine. Many of the vending machines and water dispensers are also broken.
The pizza and chips area is consistently busy. Only one person is making a 10-inch pizza at a time and managing the fryers and serves only two slices. There are many pasta options available. However, I personally prefer Moroccan tagine which is rarely served. The tagine is always vegetarian. Turkey legs are made sweet and chicken legs are also. The beef steak is not tender and is difficult to cut with a knife or chew. The lamb leg lacks flavour. I was very disappointed with the food. The dessert choices are also unsatisfactory.
The animation team primarily spoke French and interacted with French people.
We are five people in two rooms and returned to our rooms to find that two of our five bath towels had been taken by the cleaners and not replaced with clean ones. The bathroom was also not cleaned during our stay.
A positive aspect of the hotel was that one of the pools was heated and we enjoyed the good sunshine when we were there in early April.
- VED47 (6/5): Limited information and average stay - We are at the resort now and really wanted to love it but sadly have been disappointed. We arrived late at night and weren’t offered any assistance with our luggage despite the room being some distance away and on the second floor without a lift. We then discovered we only had 3 beds and booked as a family of 4. We had to visit reception twice to ask for another bed which took about an hour to arrive and made an already cramped room much smaller.
We found the kids club and Spa really good and spent most of our time at the pool by the water park which was lovely and quiet. The food is okay, it was very busy over Easter weekend and it did often make the buffet experience stressful.
The main problem we had was the lack of information from the hotel staff who didn’t explain anything on arrival, it took us almost 2 days to figure out how to refill water bottles despite asking at reception more than once.
The other issue is that not only is the entertainment geared towards French guests but it is also exclusive of other nationalities. This has impacted our stay as it didn’t always feel welcoming.
- 925farahh (6/5): Average Experience. - My stay at Valeria Madina Marrakech was an overall average experience. While the resort has some nice features, there were several issues that made the stay less enjoyable than expected.
One of the main problems was the number of mosquitoes, which made it difficult to relax, especially in the evenings. The room itself was also uncomfortable due to the lack of air conditioning, making it far too hot to sleep properly.
The room size was another major issue. We stayed as a family of four, and the room felt very cramped with four beds squeezed into a small space. It was not comfortable at all. When we asked to change rooms, the alternative offered was also unsuitable—switching from three beds to four beds in another small room didn’t solve the problem.
The food was another disappointment. While it was acceptable, the variety was quite limited and became repetitive over time. I was hoping for a wider selection, especially considering the location.
Service could also be improved. There was no assistance offered with carrying luggage to the room, which was particularly frustrating as the room was located quite far from the main areas of the resort.
Overall, the experience was just okay. With better attention to room comfort, service, and food variety, it could be a much more enjoyable place to stay.
- mariamaA5556BB (10/5): marrakesh vaction - Location is beautiful with nice weather and rooms. Staff are also very kind and the resort is regularly cleaned and maintained.
- adebisio769 (10/5): Morocco Vacation - Bushra gave us a warm welcome and we stayed for 7 nights and everyday was packed with amazing experiences.
They served varieties of great meals which were available throughout the day
Staff were happy to help when we had issue with the door of our room and it was fixed with no time. The o ly issue we had was that the Ac in our room didn't work well and it could be warm at time for Scottish traveller.
Entertainment was great and the environment is lovely with so much to see.
Kids loved the place and absolutely had a great experience.
- sarahsI7169QH (10/5): Valeria Medina team were fab, so much fun for the kids! - The Valeria Medina Animation team were brilliant, very good for the kids and they interacted very well!
- nicholah630 (10/5): Animation team - Ghana and animation team were amazing, they were fun and entertaining, always getting families involved, but not being pushy. Although there isnt much around, The animation team make the hotel a brilliant place and you are entertained day and night, amazing fun team, pika and Katy too, there english was good and always had a laugh, whether it be in the dining hall or around the grounds A++++++ myself and my husband and kids will miss the team, they are GREAT
- W1089YLwendyd (10/5): Excellent family holiday - Not a good experience at the airport was worried about the holiday but when we arrived at the hotel things were easy food to suit everyone rooms cleaned daily entertainment team was excellent got everyone mixing and having fun must do quad bikes on get my guide around £15 each will return
- stace1989 (10/5): Amazing animation - Experience was ok , food and drinks not the best but the animation team safa will and the rest were fab !!! Thank you
- joditM1174IY (10/5): Brilliant animation team - The animation team are brilliant safa and will especially , the weather wasn’t great the drinks were not great either but I suppose serving so many people can be difficult. Food was ok we are British not much choice for brits but you don’t starve chips pasta pizza nuggets. Any concerns were dealt with straight away. But the animation team did a brilliant job enertaining all day everyday . You get what you pay for and I wouldn’t say I wouldn’t come again, just get to know the hotel on your first day.
- emmalouiset2026 (10/5): Vey happy - Clean rooms & great for family’s lots to do for kids, reps have been great with kids Safa has been very helpful
- L955FXlaurah (8/5): Brilliant holiday - Great pools
Great resort
Great food
The only downside I would say is not being able to self serve soft drinks as you can at most all inclusive resorts making very long queues for drinks at times and often running out of cups! If this was fixed would give 5 star review
- tealovinghelen (6/5): Pleasant - has the makings of higher stars with some improvements - I visited this hotel for a short break through Jet2 with my 2 daughters.
I was a bit worried from reading some of the reviews on here but we had a pleasant time and I think some of the other reviews have been unfair. Jet2 have this as a 3 star hotel - I would say it had the makings of a 4 star if cleaned up a bit.
Pros
- All staff we came across were really friendly and professional - even when others were rude to them.
- We really enjoyed the food. Lots of Moroccan dishes to choose from, plus fruit, salads, pasta dishes. I liked how the pizza, chips and chicken nuggets were outside as it encouraged my youngest to try something different. Huge choice of desserts. It wasn't, however, labelled very well for vegetarian diets - some salads had meat / fish in with no labels. Staff were really helpful when I asked though.
- There are some really pretty areas of the resort when you wonder around. The buildings feel traditional - we loved the lounge next to the bar.
- The aqua park was a nice bonus and our room was located really close to this (we were in the 600 block)
- The main pool is heated which was nice. Looked like it could have done with a clean / filter though as it was very popular.
Cons
- We found the resort quite noisy as music was playing for most of the day next to the pools (even at the zen pool). There were a lot of people who loved this though, it just wasn't for us.
- There is a culture of reserving multiple sun loungers first thing in the morning even if not using until the afternoon. Lots of loungers with towels on so limited options for where to sit but not all we're actually being used.
- No ice creams next to the pool 😕 - although there was ice cream for dessert at dinner times
- The hallway leading to our room was really dark at night. It didn't feel as bad after the first night though.
- When we arrived it was quite late at night. We were given directions to our room but got very lost and it was quite scary walking around in the dark. Once we returned to reception someone then took us to our room (we would never have found it by ourselves as it was so dark). Thank you to Rachid who helped us find our room in the end - he was really friendly and helpful 🙂
- Myself and my eldest had stomach upsets whilst away (but my youngest was ok). Nothing serious, just uncomfortable and inconvenient.
- The toilet in the room smelt a bit and the tiles on the wall needed a clean. Also, we only had 2 towels between 3 of us - we got an extra one on one of the days when we asked but not the others.
Coffre fort payant
- Aymane Slimane (10/5): -
- satbir singh (8/5): Good stay value for money - good location . Staff is very helpful not pushy at all . Everyone is very friendly. Only 30 minutes away from central by drive. Kids loved waterpark and quad bike next to resort. Bit tricky to use AC. And we had to chase and give deposit for iron.
- catherine (8/5): - Bonne ambiance RAS
- Christine (8/5): Excellent value for money - Good wifi, good heating/AC, table linen in evenings, plenty of room in restaurant, heated swimming pool, quiet adults only swimming pool, plenty of sunloungers and seating, good choice of food. Distance from town center.

- Cristina Silva (10/5): What an Amazing Experience - The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. The food was amazing and with a huge variety of dishes for every meal, every day. Heated pool and spa made it extra special. Daily activities like aqua fit and yoga are a must. Highly recommended. Nothing, all was good.
- Hajar (9/5): -
- Oladotun (10/5): I love my stay even though the only complain was about air conditioners blowing warm and not cold - It’s full of a lot of activities The room air conditioning system only blows warm and not cold

Trop loin
- catherine (8/5): - Bien bonne ambiance
- Anne (8/5): - La piscine est chauffée
- Drif (6/5): - Viga Ia musique
- X4946XOwilliamc (6/5): Poor hotel - Valeria medina is a disappointment our room in Riad 8 was dated, had no view, was poorly cleaned and there was no light in the stairwell leading to the room. Reception staff were unhelpful, money exchange isn’t available every day and access isn’t good for mobility restricted guests.
The restaurant caters for French patrons only, the food is bland and repetitive, the tables are dirty and only wine is served at meals.
The bar is a joke, one barman on duty at pre-dinner drinks meant very long lines of thirsty patrons. The liquor is of a cheap quality and the beer frankly stinks, is served from lukewarm bottles into dirty glasses.
The pool areas are ok but nothing special. The hotel shop has nothing a traveller needs.
This hotel is to be avoided.
- marioncA8081QK (6/5): Entertainment team - Brilliant entertainment team. Fadwa is particularly friendly and involves British people although guests are mainly French.
- Passenger696030 (10/5): Amazing holiday - The whole workforce @ this resort, entertainment, restaurant, housekeeping & reception staff cannot be commended enough with service . However as a British speaking holiday maker we are over looked in communication when it comes to inclusion of events & on 2 occasion all french speakers went off to Amphitheater & left in main bar/balroomwith not even music playing!! Which was not a feeling you want on your holiday. Please acknowledge this response & make changes for total inclusivity in this resort?
- barrieanderson (10/5): Fun and enjoyable - Absolutely brilliant, great place fantastic staff.
Great entertainment, Annie comes across she doesn't like the English, Adwa is fantastic as the rest of the entertainment crew. But games Taylor towards the French would be nice if English were invited to join in
- N171RXdawnb (10/5): Brilliant holiday - Had a great holiday, made better with the fun games and laughs from the entertainment team, very entertaining day and night, food and accommodation great, only down side is most of games focused on French residents , would be great if we was all integrated as a whole .
- 993suet (10/5): Amazing - Stayed here for 1 week... accommodation wonderful, fantastic food.. only downside is most of the entertainment is catered for the French people. We did have fun and games with some of the entertainment team..special shout out to fadwa, joe, Kiki and pika..
- 455hibak (10/5): Bravo au spa - Amazing spa experience!
Thank you to the team for the excellent management and service especially oumaima
- RajnishMal (2/5): Horrable, Terrable, Worst resort - A truly disappointing and uncomfortable stay.
The rooms were run‑down, the air conditioning didn’t work, and there was no hot water. The shower was broken, and at one point, there was no running water for hours. I requested a room change, but nothing was done.
The issues continued throughout the property:
- The bar had no ice, so drinks were served warm.
- The restaurant toilets had blocked urinals.
- The poolside showers were not working.
- The common bathrooms had no hand soap and broken hand dryers.
- Birds were regularly eating from the buffet food, which is extremely unhygienic.
On top of all this, the staff were unhelpful and did not seem interested in resolving
- Naima Hassi (10/5): -

- zirem2026 (10/5): Absolutely amazing - Absolutely an amazing trip, so welcoming, food was amazing everyday, staff were so friendly and helpful with all that we needed. The heated pool was a delight (children loved it)
Shout out to Pika, Joe, Ayoob (entertainment) and Omar from the restaurant thankyou for always having our table ready.
Najib from snacks bar, for always looking after us.
Management were very welcoming and checked on guests daily.
Bar had endless amazing drinks with friendly bar staff
Parties for children and adults in the evening 5* entertainment
An amazing time was had overall and definitely will be back!
- harrisonR187 (10/5): Excellent felt like I was at home - I’ve stayed in a lot of places, but my experience at Valaria Marina in Morocco genuinely stood out — not just because of the setting, but because of the people.
The entertainment team? Elite energy.
From day one, they didn’t just “do activities” — they created atmosphere. You could feel the intention behind everything. Whether it was poolside games, evening shows, or just casual conversations, they brought personality, humour, and real presence. It never felt forced or rehearsed. It felt natural. Confident. Engaging.
You can tell when a team actually enjoys what they do — and that makes all the difference. They made guests feel seen. Included. Welcome. That’s rare.
Now let’s talk about the bar.
Consistent. Professional. On point.
The bartenders didn’t just pour drinks — they crafted experiences. Quick service, clean presentation, proper measures, and always delivered with a smile. Whether it was cocktails in the evening or something light during the day, the standard never dropped. Good music, good vibe, and a level of attentiveness that makes you want to stay for “just one more.”
What impressed me most was the balance — relaxed luxury without pretension. You could unwind properly. No chaos, no stress. Just smooth hospitality done right.
Overall, Valaria Marina isn’t just about the building or the location. It’s about the people running it. The entertainment team and bar staff elevated the whole experience.
I’ll definitely be back.
— Harrison (room 711)
- chanelm440 (10/5): Happy to be back again ✨ - This is my forth time staying with Valeria Madina, And it’s safe to say it always delivers.
I’ve travelled here with my bestfriend and he equally has fallen in love with the place too.
The food is amazing, All the staff are fantastic! A special mention to the entertainment team and Kiki for their high energy and enthusiasm ❤️
Thank you, And see you soon x

- Gracejessica13 (10/5): Incredible!!!! - What a place this is!
Hotel reception - exceptional
Catering staff - exceptional
Even had managers and directors walking around to make sure all the guests are happy and happy to help in any way.
The reps in this resort are the best we've ever seen! We take our 4 children (aged between 3-12) away every year to all inclusive hotels and this has by far been the best! We have to say Kiki was so attentive and made us and the children feel so happy and comfortable! Kiki you're the best and any hotel would be so lucky to have you!
So much so we have rebooked for next year!
Thank you to all the staff, we had the most fantastic time and we see you next year! Xx
