Guest Reviews
- Melissa (9/5): We all loved it - Was a great location and spacious The heating system very loud
- Aidan (8/5): -
- William (10/5): Brilliant will definitely be back -
- George (8/5): Very relaxing and very nice location. - No extractor in the bathroom! It should really be normal in a bathroom/ shower room! Non there!!!
- Brianna (7/5): - Location and views. The manor was gorgeous The cottage had poor volumes of hot water and the heat was challenging to increase.
- Colin (9/5): Wonderful. - Everything was just perfect. Restful and peaceful. Disability access to the hotel cellar bar.
- Jeff (8/5): -
- Moira (7/5): - Beds felt damp
- Lyndsey (8/5): Party of 5 - Setting was fabulous! Our cottage felt a little cramped for 5 people but we spent most of our time outside, so not a big problem.
- Jane (8/5): Relaxing - Great location and quiet
- Alan (9/5): A cozy venue with great views of lough Erne. - It was cozy and had a well equipped kitchen. It was good all round.
- Galligan (9/5): Unknown Gem. - Views are fabulous, and there are plenty of things to do on site between pitch and putt, 9 hole golf, tennis courts, boat hire etc. Food was very good in the hotel and nice atmosphere in both the bar and lounge areas and lovely to be able to relax in the study and soak in those views with a drink and a paper. Recent refurb looks very well. Lodges are dated and some TLC needed to them and the greens on the golf course. Unfortunately lodges don't have free access to the leisure centre.
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gillian (10/5): Wonderful cottage in a magical location - The location is wonderful with a view of the lake on one side and the facilities of the hotel on the other side.
The cottage is very well equipped and spacious. You could happily live here! It is warm with plenty of hot water. The beds and sofas are comfortable. The bathroom is very good with a good supply of hot water. We cooked a meal one evening (the kitchen had everything we needed) and went into Enniskillen on the other evening.
When we weren't out and about, during the day, we were able to sit outside and play games on the picnic tables. In the evening, we watched TV.
The staff are very friendly and the check in and check out processes were easy. Parking directly outside the property was an unexpected bonus. The age of the property means there aren't many sockets for charging phones. I had to dry my hair in the living room or move a bed to find a socket. But that is genuinely the only fault I could find and it really wasn't a problem. It was a magical place, with or without many sockets!
- Maureen (6/5): Girls wanna have fun.😁 - Health suit was lovely and food in hotel. No welcome hamper only 2 toilet rolls .
- Richard (9/5): Superb - Nice and peaceful location No being able to get dinner in the hotel on Easter Monday because we were staying in the chalet and not the hotel itself.
- Saulius (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marise (10/5): Excellent value for money, all the appliance and equipment needed - Pet friendly, in first row with beautiful view No boats to rent in March
- William (9/5): Superb - Great views.
Faulty toaster replaced immediately when reported to reception. Due to weather/time of year, cottage took 36hrs to warm up to comfortable temp.
Caused some condensation on outside walls for a time.
Great after walls had got warm.
- Denise (6/5): Overall, a fairly enjoyable experience. - The cottage had everything required in the kitchen. Heating and hot water were instant. We had hoped for a cottage just facing the lake as requested, as the they were all free except one other. We had a nice view. We booked one of the Manor House Cottages from Wed 16th - Sun 20th October. The cottage felt damp and a little musty. It didn't take long to heat up, but I feel it would have benefited from having had the heating on prior. The mattresses were very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, we ended up coming home a night earlier than planned due this discomfort and family picking up a cold.
- Patriche (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is wonderful, the location is excellent, the view is fantastic.
- Andrew (8/5): Quiet relaxing location, comfortable environment - The key where in the front door when we arrived Nothing
- Kevin (6/5): We had a very good time. - Good scenic location Cleanliness
- Samantha (9/5): Peaceful location and warm, comfortable accommodation. - Fab little chalet cottage, perfect for our needs, great location and beautiful setting. Need to return to explore the area and enjoy the facilities more. Would have liked easily accessible electric sockets in the bedroom.
- Tautvydas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanna (9/5): Great location with loads of activities for everyone -
- Jill (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional - The staff on site were very helpful and kind. The site/accommodation was very clean and tidy upon arrival.
- Tomasz (9/5): Superb -
- Elysha (7/5): Good -
- Ruth (9/5): Superb -
- David (4/5): Very disappointing - The location was good and the views from the accomadation The greeting was not at all friendly, the accommodation was disappointing, bed hard and uncomfortable, the games room was closed and when the children asked they were told it would open in 2028 !!! there was washing up liquid, not salt or pepper, no milk in the fridge, tea or coffee in the cottage. The reception was closed Sunday so we were not able to communicate with anyone during our stay. The cost was very expensive and not at all value for money, too much for what was being offered
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely view's
Friendly and helpful staff
- Sharon (10/5): Surrounded by beauty and so relaxing - We were self catering in a cottage with everything you need. Hotel food was delicious. Location was perfect. Really relaxing and the kids enjoyed it. Check out 10:00, although you can pay £20 for late check out for £20, latest is 12:00. Bring extra toilet roll to the cottage. We didn’t leave the grounds and the cottage only supply 2 toilet rolls. That’s just a heads up, everything else was perfect
- Nicola (9/5): great stay with the family and our dog. - clean comfortable and everything you need. we loved that we could bring our dog. nothing
- Joanne (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (5/5): Chilled out during the day. Tossed and turned during the night. - We were self catering. The location is excellent. Very scenic and quiet. Hot water and shower were very good. The bedding was uncomfortable. Double bed and two singles. Also thought when we booked we had a lough view cottage (full lough view) only to find out on arrival at reception that we had a partial lough view cottage. The receptionist informed us that all cottages have a lough view and had we requested this. So you would then have to request this even though your perception from their literature would suggest you already had this!
- Barbara (8/5): Very good -
- Sam (9/5): Really chilled out and relaxed, just what we needed . - Location is just stunning and the chalet is very well presented and equipped. We'll definitely be back !
- Akvile (10/5): Exceptional -
- Radu (9/5): Superb -
- James (9/5): Excellent stay at the Manor Marine Cottages. - The location was excellent, beautiful and quiet overlooking the lough. The cottages had everything you needed for a self catering holiday, they were better than I was expecting. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend a stay at the cottages. The only thing that would improve it is the lighting on the way up and down to the hotel along the path :)
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mairead (9/5): Superb - The stay was very nice and comfortable. Great location, the cottages had everything we needed. Beautiful views. Unfortunately due to the winter hours, no staff was on site. The path and roads were extremely icy and dangerous a few family members and other guests had fallen. It was extremely icy on the steps leading to the cottages which made it difficult to get up and down. I understand we can't control the weather but I would recommend a communal grit box on the grounds for guests.
- Farrelly (9/5): Superb -
- Nial (7/5): excellent base for exploring and chilling - nice quiet location, well stocked and furnished house no power point in bedroom
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Valerie (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - The location overlooking the lough
- James (7/5): Good - Cleaner cobwebs bedding stained
- Keith (3/5): Location great but let down by property. Will not visit again - Location Too small, not clean. Towels worn, need’s refurb
- Dawn (9/5): We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend. The cottages have everything you need - Great location, lovely view and really comfy beds Unnecessary chairs in bedrooms - too big, get in the way
- KAREN (8/5): - It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!
- Paula (10/5): - Had a great time away with husband and friends the cottage was clean and tidy and very close to Marble Arch caves which we thoroughly enjoyed will worth the trip.
- Jul (10/5): Manor House cottages - We stayed at the Manor House cottage for two nights; they were warm, comfortable and very quiet with a beautiful view over the marina. As well as accessing the golf course, we were able to avail of the hotel for any extra meals we required. The cottage was, therefore, an excellent combination of self-catering and use of local amenities! I thoroughly recommend the cottages-other family members were able to join us on the second evening at no extra cost. A superb choice when you are unsure who can make the stay due to busy schedules.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Looking for an excuse to return! - Spent a really comfy weekend at the cottage. Cottage itself was spotless. Beds were extremely comfy. Lovely view from the large living room windows. Can’t wait to return!
- Elizabeth (8/5): Weekend break. - The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Our son and his wife and baby joined us on the second day and like us they loved the views and the tranquility. It was an ideal location for visiting the Lakelands. Would love to return ,hopefully for a longer stay, and take advantage of the leisure facilities at the hotel. A lovely weekend.
