Il est fâchant de payer plus cher pour une chambre avec lit king et se retrouver avec un lit queen. L'employé de la réception ses excusé en disant que rien ne pouvait être fait.

• Roberta (8/5): Very nice stay but be aware of the safely of your vehicles. - Comfortable Room. Good breakfast One of our group had their Car stollen on the Friday night of their stay. The hotel has “clubs” available for the safety of the vehicles on their property but they were not offered until after the theft occurred. Being proactive might be bad PR but damage control is worse. Are there cameras in the parking lot? There should be warning signs up and the front desk should alert the guests. Very disappointing event though not the hotels fault.

• Joyce (5/5): Ok: the location was convenient to my needs, very clean, but soulless like all these chains are. - The hotel's location was fine; there are very few places to stay in this part of Montreal. Breakfast was bizarre, a cordoned off section of the well, lobby would be stretching a point. Quite expensive, prefab food. Doesn't fly in a city like Montreal.Not in Kansa Dorothy! Reception was indifferent and unhelpful: two boys who were basically robots and not about to do anything.

Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist begrenzt auf fünf Varianten die jedoch sehr rasch und frisch zubereitet werden. Da das Hotel einwenig abseits liegt sind die Einkauf Möglichkeiten circa 15 bis 20 Minuten entfernt, je nach Ortskenntnissen und Fahrweise.

• 207matthewr (2/5): Avoid This Property — They Don’t Respect Guests or Marriott Policies - To the hotel management: this experience was unacceptable. I’m a Lifetime Platinum member who trusted the process and followed it exactly. A Marriott Bonvoy agent cancelled my original reservation for me and rebooked me at another Marriott property. Everything was done correctly on their end. Your hotel still charged me for the cancelled room. You refused to acknowledge the cancellation. You refused to take responsibility. You refused to reimburse me, even after Marriott confirmed the agent handled everything properly. As someone who has been loyal to Marriott for decades, I’ve never dealt with a property that disregards both its guests and Marriott’s own policies this way. This isn’t just disappointing—it’s shocking. I hope Marriott takes a serious look at how this situation was handled, because no loyal guest should be treated like this.

(8/5): - I called the hotel itself to confirm if the pool is open as it was indicated it's under renovation in expedia.The lady I spoke with answered the question and tried to book me already thru the phone.I told her I am going to book thru expedia and she started talking about trouble that I may encounter if I book thru expedia.and was pushy that I should book with her over the phone.Not to mention, the price she is giving me is actually MORE expensive than what I can get from expedia.So I told her I never had issues with Expedia and was firm that I will do the booking my self.The call was recorded if it needs to be reviewed, date was Oct 11 at noonish.. As per the pool, my kids love it.There are 2 options of sauna: dry or steam which is great.There is life guard on duty and pool toys are provided.The life guard lady on duty on the night of Oct 11 was nice and welcoming.BUT there were swimming lesson happening in the pool and one of the swimminh instructor told us to move on the other side because they need the lane for the lesson which is not possible too because it is being used by someone.The HOTEL admin must make sure guests are being accomodated FIRST in the pool rather than being squished in one spot because all these swim lessons are being held.

Prices for food and nonalcoholic beverages are expensive even by hotel standards. At check-in I was advised that we’re in a high auto theft area and steering lock (provided) is advised.

• Kristin (8/5): - The hotel itself wasn't bad but we were traveling on motorcycles and I was told from some locals that I should make sure the motorcycles are very secure because the area has a very high crime rate. Luckily there is a very large covered patio entrance in the back of the hotel and we were able to pull the bikes right up to the building so we at least felt better about that. The restaurant in the hotel was decent which was a good thing because there is nothing else near the hotel that we saw other than the highway.

I pushed back on that and they cleaned it on day 2. We get no discounts for cleaning only initially so why should we accept this.

• LivinglifeinPA (10/5): Good Hotel! - We stayed overnight here, along with the other 40 people on our bus tour. Everything was handled very well......room keys were promptly distributed (all our rooms were ready when we arrived!) so check-in was easy. Our room was clean and everything was in working order. Our room was very quiet.....no noise from the nearby highway. An extra chef was called in to prepare all our meals in their Bar Morgan 44 restaurant. Our food & drink there was perfect..thanks to Jay. He's a keeper.......definitely as asset to this hotel! Easy access to/from the highway too. Definitely met all our needs and would stay here again.

We had asked for a crib when we booked and when we checked in late the crib was not in the room and had to wait a long time for it. Rooms are large but need repair (peeling wall paper, towel holders falling out…) Would not book here again because of their lack of customer service.

There is a set of drawers to put some clothes in, but enough for a weekend stay. As there were 4 of us, those drawers filled up quick so had to live out of suitcases too. Beds very comfortable and hotel quiet at night so slept well. The thermostat of the shower was hit and miss. Would not stay a constant temperature but that’s a maintenance issue. Room comes with coffee machine, fridge and ironing equipment. The fridge was hit and miss. Fluctuated between not so cold to freezing. If you are storing medication that needs refrigerated, you may be best asking the hotel to do this for you. Had a good view of the car park below so I could check my car was there every morning! Towels and bedding were done every second day. WiFi in the room was hit and miss. Aircon was excellent. ________________________________________ 🍽️ Food & Drink: 4/5 Morgan 44 is the restaurant within the hotel. Marriot do not own this but merely lease the space out. As we were here for 2 weeks, we exhausted the menu pretty quickly and got a bit samey after a week. Nevertheless, the quality of the food is good. We did go out on occasion for meals to mix things up a bit. If you are staying like I did and fancy lunch at a later time or mid-afternoon meal, then unfortunately the restaurant is closed for a period throughout the day. They serve breakfast, lunch up until 12:45 then don’t re-open again til 17:00. Failing that, if you do want a cold drink or so, the hotel does have a small convenience shop for snacks etc. Thanks to Jay and the staff for serving us during our stay. ________________________________________ 💬 Staff & Service: 4/5 Staff were always helpful and responsive. You felt welcome. For the life of me, I did not see any value in having a lifeguard at the pool. I’ve stayed in many hotels over the years and this is the first time I have seen one in a hotel pool! The money would be better spent by having a night security guard for the car park. ________________________________________ 📍 Location: 2/5 You are a 20 minute walk from Baie d’Urfe where there are local supermarkets etc if you need to get anything and around a 10 minute walk from the railway station. Apart from that, there is nothing else really in the nearby vicinity. Anything substantial, you’ll need a car. Handy for getting on/off the highway though so can see why it is appealing for people transiting through! Met a guy whose onward journey from the hotel was to Newfoundland! In terms of local crime, when we checked in, we were recommended to take a steering lock provided by the hotel for a small deposit as the area has a history of cars being stolen from the hotel car park (read the other reviews). During my stay a car got broken into, so if you are reading this, do not leave any valuables or suitcases in your car here overnight. ________________________________________ 🧹 Cleanliness: 3/5 The hotel was very clean throughout. However, where it lets itself down is that the pool has public swimming lessons, and the parents of the kids wear their outdoor shoes poolside, making it dirty. The pool attendant does nothing about this, even after raising it with them personally. I have read other reviews noting this, but clearly they are doing nothing about it. ________________________________________ 💰 Value for Money: 4/5 Reasonably priced for what it is. ________________________________________ 📸 Other facilities: 4/5 The hot tub is still broken and going by previous reviews, looks like it has been broken for a long time. Pool is heated and steam room and sauna were operational when I was there. There is laundry facilities in the basement. See photo for pricing. The gym is basic, should cover the basics of what you need. ________________________________________ ✅ Would I Recommend It? For a night or a weekend away, yes. For a lengthier stay I would go elsewhere due to the lack of local amenities.
