• Selina (8/5): - Gute Lage direkt am Meer mit schönem Ausblick vom Frühstücksbereich. Der Naturpool ist top und eine gute Abwechslung. Das Frühstück hat sich etwas schwieriger gestaltet :D Man musste gezielt nach Kaffee/Tee nachfragen und an den ersten beiden Tagen haben wir das Getränk auch erst bekommen, nachdem wir bereits fertig gegessen hatten. Wir waren 4 Personen und haben anfangs 8 Scheiben Toast bekommen (obwohl einzelne Gäste direkt 4 Scheiben serviert bekommen haben). Bei Nachbestellung wurde dann immer eine ungerade Zahl und nicht für jeden Person weiterer Toast gebracht.

It wasn't the most economical option but the food was good and very convenient as there wasn't many cheaper options nearby. The A/C worked really well as did the showers. No WiFi on the second floor meant no TV channels

• Jessica (4/5): Just a room - Good air conditioning. This was the worst hotel we stayed in on our visit. Not really a hotel, you just rent a room. There doesn’t seem to be any manager there, just a girl sat in a room. It’s a soul less place. The staff that were there were pleasant enough but maybe could do with some training or managing. You can’t swim in the freshwater pool as it never gets deep enough, more of a paddling pool.

Auch das Essen im Hotel war gut. Das Servicepersonal sehr hilfsbereit . Auch bei den Ausflügen sehr hilfsbereit , organisierten ein Taxi oder TukTuk. Grundsätzlich nichts. Mein Partner ist im Rollstuhl (querschnittsgelähmt) es hat 3 einzelne Tritte die Mann hat auch im Zimmer zum WC wo er Hilfe benötigte. Aber das ging ganz gut .

Очень приветливый персонал, который готов помочь в любом вопросе (забыли вещи, их нашли и отправили нам в другой отель). Очень вкусные и сытные завтраки (фрукты, панкейки или омлет, тосты с маслом и джемом, чай и кофе). Так же можно пообедать и поужинать, все очень вкусно. Номера чистые, уборка раз в три дня, удобные кровати, хороший душ. Рядом с отелем есть сувенирные лавки, кафе и магазины.

• Siddhesh Arun (9/5): Overall, our experience was excellent — especially the property’s beautiful location and the stunnin - The breakfast was included in our stay. However, one morning we had to leave early for whale watching, so we requested a packed breakfast. On returning earlier than expected, we handed back the packed breakfast untouched and requested a fresh breakfast instead. Unfortunately, our request was denied. I believe this was a very minor issue that could have been easily managed by the hotel’s staff or management with a little flexibility. Later, when we offered to pay for a fresh breakfast, we were again refused, with the reason that breakfast hours were over — even though, in reality, the serving time had not yet ended. This small instance of rigidity in service left a slightly disappointing impression, as everything else about our stay was otherwise pleasant. The management and front desk staff seemed a bit rigid at times and were not very helpful in handling small requests, such as the breakfast situation we faced. A little flexibility and guest consideration would make the experience even better. Otherwise, it’s an excellent property — comfortable, clean, and a wonderful place to stay overall.

Frühstück war gut. 400 Meter am Polhena Beach kann man gut schwimmen. Zur anderen Seite 700 Meter am Turtlle Point haben wir jeden Tag Schildkröten gesehen. Das gesamte Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Meeresguscht tut ihr übriges.

The location is great, very close to several restaurants. The breakfast was a bit boring—we noticed that Sri Lankan breakfast options were available for locals but were not offered to us. If possible, we recommend choosing the Sri Lankan breakfast instead We would have appreciated having the towels changed during our 3-night stay, and it would have been more convenient if coffee and water were refilled without having to ask each time. One thing that really saddened me, though, was witnessing a staff member trying to chase away a stray dog by throwing a stone at it. We believe animals should be treated with kindness, and this experience left a negative impression.

• Matthew (5/5): It's okay, I had better expectations. - Very close to the beach and close restaurants nearby also they have very spacious parking. Breakfast was good. Overall the hotel was dirty, paint was peeling off the wall, furniture worn down. It could do well with a good renovation.
• Jayne (4/5): Disappointing - There were a good few restaurants around and the beach next door was beautiful. The air con and the shower were really good. The room was full of mosquitos, there were ink stains on the sheets. The hotel was very very tired and needs a good renovation. The pool is tidal, so depending on the time of the day, depends if you can swim in it. We booked for 3 nights to end out journey in Sri Lanka and relax before we flew home, however we checked out after one night and went back to Negombo, as we just weren't happy with the hotel or the weather in the south.
