• Carolyn (10/5): Home from home. - The host was so welcoming and a lot of thought had gone into making the room and the stay an excellent one. Complimentary bottled water, a tray with a range of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Also a cup of tea made for us on arrival by our host and advice on the best walking route into Stratford plus a lovely chat. Plenty of choice in the excellent breakfast and homemade jams. There was nothing we didn't like. It was perfect for us. Maybe, as we came from Stratford side and Sat Nav was a little patchy, a couple of landmarks to look out for to help locating No 61 on a long road would have been useful. However this really was a tiny detail in a lovely stay.
• Sliwinski (10/5): Would highly recommend. - Moss Cottage was perfect for our one night stay. Bill's communication was great. We asked to drop the car off earlier and he was happy to accommodate. He even had the room ready so we could spruce ourselves before heading out to a birthday lunch. The room was spotless and really comfy. It was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was excellent. Can't think of anything.

• Samantha (10/5): - The host of Moss Cottage was very welcoming and knowledgeable about his home town. Every detail of this BnB is extremely detailed and professional, down to the beautifully presented breakfast. The host obviously enjoys looking after his guests. My room was homely and very comfortable and the cottage is a pleasant walking distance from all the sights in town. I highly recommend a stay at this accommodation. Not applicable.

Überaus freundlicher Gastgeber, der uns unser Frühstück selbst mit viel Liebe zubereitet hat. Unter anderem selbstgemachte Marmelade auf selbstgemachtem Toast und frisches Rührei. Sehr sauber, ruhig und einfach toll! Klare Empfehlung!

We were given information on where to go and what to see and excellent stories about Stratford’s past. I would highly recommend staying here and I look forward to visiting again next time we come up to the RSC. Nothing, it was all fantastic.
• June (8/5): - Lovely place bathroom was big and great for us as I need help in shower ect . Wasn't keen on sharing table with other guests at breakfast but thats just me in the morning I like my own table. Fabulous knowledge from host very welcoming .parking was a bonus .about a 15 minute walk into town .

The room was immaculately clean, fully equipped, and had everything I needed. Breakfast was great and made to order. The location is a 20-minute walk from the city center, but I didn’t mind that.

Very good pub on the way into town The Bull and the Dirty Duck near the theatre. Stratford Racecourse just down the road. We shall stay again.

• Gina (10/5): Highly recommended, we will be back! - We had a lovely weekend stay at Moss Cottage while visiting the RSC. We were greeted with tea and cake, and had a warm and comfy room. Parking right outside, and SOA within walking distance, as is The Bell at Shottery, where we ate on the Friday. Excellent breakfast. Handy little shop opposite. Very welcoming host, who supplied us with leaflets and RSC programmes to read. Nothing.

The room was a good size and the bathroom comfortable. It was an easy walk into the old town. Bill gave us good advice on where to eat and how to spend our time in Stratford. Nothing was too much trouble. We would absolutely recommend staying at Moss Cottage. We liked everything.

• Tracey (10/5): A must stay in Stratford Upon Avon - Moss Cottage is a very cosy & comfortable bed and breakfast. It is not too far from the main town which provides you with a lovely walk to it. Bill the host is brilliant, he provides you with lots of knowledge of the area, and has some funny tales to tell. The breakfast is lovely and he even provided me with a breakfast roll for when I left really early to go to the airport. The homemade jams and marmalades are lovely. Definately recommend staying here. Nothing

• Agata (10/5): - Very cozy and safe, the owner was very sweet and carrying, breakfast was excellent with the huge variety of homemade jams ❤️ there was an option to leave the car close to the house after the check-out, which was perfect for me, since I was sightseeing Stratford just before heading back home on the same day. The location of the cottage is very good, only 20-25 minutes walk from Shakespeare’s birthplace, there is also a bus stop almost next to the cottage. I can highly recommend this place, I’ll certainly be back during ny next visit in Stratford 🙂

• Peter (8/5): Great location for overnight stay in Stratford. - We had a lovely welcome and overnight stay at Moss Cottage. Our host was very helpful with advice on walking into town as we had booked to see Macbeth at 'The other place'. We like walking so the 15-20 min walk was easy and saved having to worry about parking our car. Our room was a good size with a large bright bathroom. Easy to park outside and although Moss Cottage is located on a main road noise was not noticeable nor a hindred to sleep. Shower control was tricky to set to the right temperature.

Water, cookies, tea & coffee in room. Excellent breakfast with good choices, served at your chosen time. Bill was welcoming and friendly - even gave a guest a lift to train station after breakfast. He was full of fascinating insights to the local area & history with suggestions of what to see (outside the usual tourist spots). Provided local map and info on RSC shows. Very happy and would book again. I guess Sky tv channels would be a way to go but I didn't visit Stratford to stay in my room so terrestrial tv was fine! Maybe a radio for music/news.

• Mike (10/5): Heartwarming experience - Upon our somewhat haphazard ,later than expected arrival with depleted numbers, Bill met us with a welcoming cup of tea and a lovely slice of cake. As one of our party had to pull out with a fractured wrist, and two others broke down on route and couldn't arrive until next day, Bill was more than happy to accommodate our unexpected renewed plans. He provided us with all local knowledge and pathways......mostly to pubs ! , but it was all reassuring and helpful. Beautiful comfy beds ensured a great nights rest, to welcome our incoming friends and a lovely breakfast to boot ! Although he didn't have to....and we wouldn't have complained if he had, he even only charged us for the time spent there by our friends and didn't even charge for our friend who couldn't attend. Such gestures are few and far between in business these days, and we appreciate that greatly. If you ever require a place to relax or explore Stratford , we would highly recommend Moss Cottage. • Darren (10/5): Exceptional - When you first arrive it can be a bit overwhelming as things are done a bit different here. Bill the host will firstly ensure you relax with a cuppa and homemade cake upon arrival. You will soon be chatting like you're visiting family. It was like having a guide included as the local knowledge of places to visit and their history was exceptional. The attention to detail in every aspect from breakfast to room cleanliness was fantastic and the hosts really work to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay gain if visiting the area. Only real dislike - stay could have been longer. This certainly isn't a dislike at all but I want to address the elephant in room - there's heaps of them! Loved them all. You'll see what I mean when you visit! Seriously from price, hospitality, location this place is hard to fault.

Værelserne var store og rene, og der var stille. Vi oplevede en rigtig behagelig velkomst, hvor Pete var rigtig venlig og behjælpelig i forhold til forslag til aktiviteter og spisesteder i byen. Vi satte stor pris på, at Pete gerne ville bruge lidt tid på at hjælpe os. Parkeringen var lige ude foran, så det var rigtig godt. Intet at bemærke.
