• Henry David (10/5): Great choice for Brookings to overnight or stay - Very comfortable clean and spacious- fully kitted. Easy access to anywhere. Please put a few microwaveable dishes with lids into the kitchenware. A simple kettle would be great too

• Ahlara (9/5): A great place to stay with the family! - It was very clean, beds were comfortable, very close to the beach, and it was very accommodating to have a kitchen in the room. Some people were loud outside our room in the evening.

Glad to report that all of the staff was kind and accomodating, and everyone near our room was quiet during the day. Would definitely stay again! None to report.

• lenvision (10/5): A motel that makes you feel like staying put. - You know it's a great spot when you walk in the office and the aroma is a calming and natural scent. Ocean Suites Motel makes you feel like staying put! The motel is super clean, perfectly appointed, well located, and supported by a genuinely friendly staff; I didn't want to leave! Hot coffee in a ceramic mug while still in the room, water pressure for days, a toaster for the sourdough bread loaf I purchased earlier, comfy bed, local bath products and decorated with a local artist's prints. Seriously, one of the best hotel stays on our trip.

Could camp out there for weeks! Plenty of room, separate sleeping area, full kitchen & living room space. It’s the most spacious setting I’ve ever stayed in, outside of an VRBO OR AIR B&B. Only down aside no ocean view. Can’t have it all I guess. 😁 No ocean view or beach access

Everyone made me feerigh - The entire staff signed a happy Thanksgiving card and left me a gift bag of soap and goodies, this represents a form of what we call. Amazing Aloha in Hawaii. • John (10/5): - A very unexpected surprise. Staff was exceptionally helpful. Rooms were spotless and well appointed. Please understand, this is an older motel, not a luxury resort. With prices on the lower side for the area, I was very happy with what we received in value. Clean, friendly, and well appointed. Parking and amenities were exceptional for the price range. Staff went way out of their way to accommodate your needs.
• Anna (10/5): - Cozy and very spacious room with good supplies (reusable plates and cutlery), we felt like home. Location was convenient. They had clean rooms and the soap smelled very nice. Would consider staying again if we were in the area. We were quite cold during the night - it turns out that the windows had been left open before our check-in behind the blinds, so we did not notice. Not really a fault with the hotel, just something to check for if you like it warmer like we do.

The kitchen and apartment was very well appointed~we were surprised and happy there was even a wine opener and glasses 😉 The bed was very comfy. The facility is off the main drag and very quiet. The queen bed in the living room. Did not need it and it was cumbersome. I did not realize that was what I had booked so it’s my fault for being in a hurry😊

• Crystal (10/5): - The room was very clean and had a private bedroom which was great while traveling with kids. They provide a Netflix account you can use instead of having to sign into yours. Had very good internet in the room. Very good price, well worth it. The room had a damp smell to it and was a bit smaller than expected which made the large recliner in the room in the way. Only had a nightstand on one side of the bed in the main area.

Strong water pressure comfortable bed. Solid value for the money in comparison to other properties in the same area. Folks hanging out socializing outside could be heard in the room.
• Wanderer563537 (10/5): Clean and decent affordable lodging - The suite was smaller than we expected, but it was perfectly decent. It was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. While not lavish or abundant, the appointments were adequate, and the fixtures and furnishings were in good condition. The unit was reasonably quiet. NOTE: Our unit contained two queen beds, with one bed substituting for a couch in the living area. Because of the small size of the unit, more than two guests would make for a crowded space.

The Mgr gifted us with a present when she found out it was our anniversary! We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay there and highly recommend it!

• Janet (10/5): - I had read mixed reviews about this property and was hesitant to book it but decided to take a chance. I’m glad that I did because it has been a GREAT stay. The rooms have been remodeled and - although it’s not upscale - EVERYTHING is thoughtfully functional: comfortable beds (with extra blankets in case you sleep cold like me), bedside tables with plenty of options for plugging in electronics, double room-darkening curtains, individual heat controls for each room if you have a multi-room suite, plenty of towels and hot water in the bathroom, etc. etc. And it is all METICULOUSLY CLEAN. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the parking lot and walkways are spotless (take notice of the potted plants near the office - they are stunning). There are several restaurants located in the harbor area near the property (the office has a list of all of the restaurants in town). The office also stocks a freezer with a good choice of frozen foods if you prefer to cook in your kitchen (including Klondike bars and/or Talenti and Hagen Dazs ice cream pints for dessert - thank you very much!). No, there’s not a view - but everything else is quite definitely all right!
