• Anthony (7/5): - L'emplacement, lema literie et le petit-déjeuner. Les propriétaires du Riad ne vivent pas sur place et cela se ressent pour certains "détails", notamment au niveau du service. Nous avions deux chambres et l'une d'elles était au rez-de-chaussée et était moins accueillante: plus sombre, plus humide et plus petite.
• Lebrun (6/5): Bof bof malgré super emplacement ! - Le lieu est sympa. Entrée avant le Riad pourrait être éclairée. Il fait sombre et donc insécurité (sentiment). Enfin, ça sent l’urine de chat avant de rentrer dans le Riad Les femmes qui vous accueillent font énormément de bruit ! Elle font le ménage la nuit et crient ! J’ai du dormir avec des bouchons ! Dommage !
• akker (8/5): Mooi hotel op goede locatie - Locatie van dit hotel is erg goed, vlakbij de souks en de Secret Garden. Het hotel is prachtig ingericht en goed verzorgd, de kamers ook. Ik was vooral blij met het bed, niet te hard. Het ontbijt is goed maar wel veel zoetigheden, op sommige dagen was er qua hartig alleen een stukje smeerkaas. We kwamen vanaf een ander hotel waar het ontbijt net iets uitgebreider was, daardoor viel dat extra op. Het zwembad is koud maar op warme dagen daardoor lekker. Het hotel ligt vrij dicht bij een moskee, dus oordoppen mee is wel handig. Ik denk overigens dat dat voor veel hotels in de medina geldt. Er lag glas in onze douche (wij hadden niets laten vallen), en dat lag er nog nadat de kamer extra schoongemaakt was. Daar staat tegenover dat ze al het beddengoed en de handdoeken vervangen hebben nadat mijn dochter ziek was. Verder was de service in mijn ogen vrij beperkt, maar ook dit weer ten opzichte van ons hotel in Essaouira, waar de manager ons met van alles hielp.
• Karen (8/5): Staff were v nice, riad was also v clean and pretty but that is not a pool! - lovely breakfast, great location in the medina, room was v small but v clean we paid extra for a pool. It was not a pool and it is false advertising to say it was a pool. It was 12 foot long by 9 ft long.

• Elias (10/5): At the edge of Medina - Staff is very serviceminded and kind (special shoutout to Ouma), and the location is perfect, just inside the Medina but still very quiet. It is also a beautiful Riad. It is very sound isolated from outside, however, within the Riad you hear everything. As there is no key or passcard, every guest needs to ring the doorbell, and this can be heard in all the rooms. It is annoying, but manageable. That the place offers parking is a bit of a stretch, even the closest parking is a bit of a walk.

• Elke (8/5): Beautiful Riad in good location - Riad Anjar is beautiful and calm, and very well located in the medina just a few minutes away from Jemaa el Fna. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served on the beautiful terrace. No breakfast when you need to leave before the breakfast time which starts only at 8:30.

• OLIVIER (4/5): Client déçu par la chambre la chambre de bonne au dernier étages ! - Nous n’avons pas pris le petit déjeuner. Le Riad pourtant décrit comme bien équipé ne dispose pas de personnel pour porter les bagages. La chambre de bonne, normalement destinée à stocker du matériel et située sur la terrasse au 4ème étages propose une surface exiguë de 8 m2 et un décor primitif et d’une sobriété spartiate. Lors de notre départ à 7H00 du matin, nous n’avons croisé personne. Un Riad exempt de personnel! Le minimum, quand loge dans un Stah dont la porte n’à même pas de serrure vérouillable est de s’occuper de l’acheminement des bagages.

Mainly nice staff except Uma - The property was in a great location and the pool and sunbeds were perfect for our stay Uma was incredibly rude to us which we were surprised about considering the rest of the staff were so lovely! She gave us someone else’s cold coffee pot (recycled) at breakfast as she wouldn’t make more and shouted at us about our bags even though we were told we could leave them in the property after we had checked out.

Host was very helpful with advice on do’s & don’ts In town. Breakfast was a lovely little spread. Nice roof top - sun loungers etc. v quiet at night. Peaceful oasis would def recommend. Def advise let them collect you from airport. Finding Riads would be v challenging!! (Plus you run risk of accidentally committing to a random local ‘helping’ you)

• Beatrice (8/5): Manager poco profesional y nada comprensiva. - La manager del Hotel, Emanuela que fue muy poco flexible, nada agradable y que además nos mintió respecto su disponibilidad en el hotel. Existente muchísimos Riads preciosos en la Medina y que tienen política de devolución flexible. No volvería a este Riad ya que perdimos una noche de alojamiento que no nos quiso cambiar, ni de fecha, ni anular la última noche habiendo llamado al día siguiente de la reserva y con más de un mes de antelación. También comentar que nuestro Taxista de Booking la llamó, por iniciativa propia, para que el Hotel enviase a alguien a recogernos hasta donde él podía llegar con el taxi, puesto que el avión se retrasó y ya era muy tarde para andar solas por la Medina. Emanuela contestó de malas maneras al taxista y dijo que no mandaba a nadie.

Tuvimos problemas con el transfer que contratamos para nuestra recogida en el aeropuerto, pero fueron causas imprevistas y nos lo compensaron con un desayuno gratis.

• Beate (9/5): - Beliggenheten er sentral og helt perfekt for turister. Riaden er magisk, rolig og vakker, med en fantastisk takterasse. Det var flott å sitte her på ettermiddagen, se utover hustakene og høre bønneropet. Det er rent og lukter nydelig overalt. Personalet var vennlige og hjelpsomme, men generelt negative til alt vi hadde ordnet og booket selv, av restauranter og turer. Det var tydelig de ønsket mersalg. Vi valgte å lytte til hotellet og booke middag på en restaurant vi fikk anbefalt. Det viste seg å være en skikkelig turistfelle, og ble en stor skuffelse.

• CharlesPanhead1951 (10/5): Excellent d'un bout à l'autre. - Ce riad est une pure merveille. Emplacement génial, proche de tout. Un personnel d'une gentillesse et bienveillance incroyable. J'en profite pour remercier particulièrement Hakima, qui a tout fait pour être à nos petits soins. Prochain séjour sur Marrakech, je sais déjà que l'on retournera dans ce Riad et pas ailleurs.

• Akifa (7/5): - Beautiful Riad, clean and situated in a great location. Staff didn't clean our room after the 1st night we had to ask for clean towels. We then asked for them to clean our room the next morning and came back to what looked like a clean room with clean towels but the bedding hadn't been changed. When cheking out, there were no staff available at all, the cleaner showed us where to put our luggage as our flights weren't till later on in the evening and then when we returned to collect the luggage, we looked around for any members of staff to say goodbye but couldn't find anyone at all. A little bit disappointing because overall the staff were lovely and we had a great stay.

• Ailish (10/5): A little quiet gem in the heart of the medina. - Perfect quieter location but right in the medina. Really easy to get to and all the main sights. We stayed in one of the annexe which is your own mini riad and was so nice and homely. We will definitely be coming back and telling friends to stay here. The breakfast in the main riad rooftop was delicious. There is a small plunge pool but we didn’t have time to use.

• Carla (9/5): Short walks to everything, beautiful Riad - The location is great; everything we were interested in checking out was a 8-9 minute walk away. The staff responded quickly to all my questions and helped make the stay lovely. The breakfast was good! The hammam bath was not what I expected; I should of done more research but the lady who helped me did not communicate much. There was several moments when I didn't know what was happening or if it was over. It was awkward at times and I wish I would not have done it at all.

• Sergio (10/5): Fantastic experience to repeat for sure - Everything was as nice as expected. Very well located with easy access in all areas of the medina. We only had dinner at the riad the first night and was by far the best dinner we had in Marrakech. We went in other more opulent places but the dinner they made us there, tanjia lamb with olive, lemon and prunes, was just superb. Breakfasts were very good as well. The riad is next door to a mosque and the call to the prayer is very very loud. But I guess in the medina there are so many mosques that it would not make such a big difference.

• sarah (10/5): Would definitely stay here again - Beautiful accomodation at a reasonable price. Lots of food offered for breakfast, lovely staff. Airport transfers made things very easy Loud creaking doors, very noticeable at nighttime
