• Jeff (5/5): The rooms are basic but clean thanks to the diligent cleaning staff. Some general maintenance needed - Despite breakfasts being advertised, none were available. The location was good, although Ayr is not a big place. Air con went off through the night. Luckily, I had an extension lead in the car that I could plug it into another socket. No after hours contact to raise these issues with. We noted someone working in the kitchen with no shirt on. Gladly we were not eating there that night.

• Brenton (3/5): would never recommend i would sleep in my car before going back - location is about all aircon not working properly reported it they checked it room was so hot then told it ok you have shower to cool down? then told smoking not on property area was 50m away in full sun next to bins a joke whatever they cleaned the kettle out with kept the taste like cleaning fluid, should be advertised property non-smoking, no toaster in room all room normally have toaster, kettle and microwave not here. it's not what it is advertising online. i am normally easy-going things happen but this place made my blood boil

Woke up from one of the single beds in the room very itchy, unfortunately. This has been a one off, otherwise, we usually don't have any issues when we've stayed previously.

• don (7/5): A good place for a night in Ayr. - The motel was very conveniently located for downtown Ayr and was surprisingly quiet for being right on the road. The room was quite comfortable and very well maintained. The wifi needs to be better.
