It was so relaxing at the end of each long day to sit and take a dip in the pool and talk with the other guests. Frederic was a fantastic host. After a wonderful breakfast each morning, he would talk with us and give us information on sites nearby to visit. The best night of our two weeks in France area, was the dinner that Frederic hosted for us and the other guests. We were able to meet, talk, laugh, and of course, dine and drink, with some wonderful people. Gordes is a beautiful town and should not be missed.

- Nancy (10/5): Stay at Les Terraces - you won’t be sorry. - Our stay at Les Terraces was exceptional. Our host, Frederic, personally greeted us and provided us with the perfect place to stay. The room was comfortable and relaxing. Frederic tended to our every need, from providing a glass of wine after we settled in to cooking the most delicious meal that we have had in France. The grounds are beautiful! Our room was so tastefully decorated and included a private terrace. Frederic offered a delicious breakfast each morning and was available to provide suggestions on farmers markets, local restaurants, etc. Our stay wa absolutely perfect. Thank you Frederic! The place and meals were perfect - nothing to approve upon.

- Mark (10/5): - We can't wait to return. Frédéric and Christina are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable hosts. The property is beautiful, private, relaxing, and close to many charming nearby towns. We had the room by the pool and pretty much had the property to ourselves every afternoon since the other four guests were off exploring the nearby towns. The smell of the jasmine bushes and the trickling of water in the pool made for an excellent lounging experience. We stayed for four nights, but next time we will book for at least a week. And by the way, you can confidently disregard the 4/10 review from “Greg, Las Vegas.” Maybe there was an issue with the air conditioning in 2019, but as of 2024 it works perfectly. Also, the hosts are super friendly and eager to help. And the breakfast options are excellent. We had local honey, cheeses, ham, bread, and pastries … and I'm probably forgetting a few items. There was more than enough to eat and everything was delicious. But you can't come to France and expect an American breakfast. Stay at home if you don't want to try something new.

Cristina ist nicht nur herzlich und hilfsbereit, sie macht alles möglich. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben tolle Gespräche mit ihr und den Gästen geführt. Eine sehr gepflegte Immobilie inclusive beheiztem Pool!
- Lucy (10/5): Gem near Gordes - Les Terrasses is perfectly situated for exploring Gordes and the surrounding area. Our accommodation was better than anticipated (even better than the photos suggest); Perle was incredibly spacious with a very comfortable bed and an excellent bathroom. We loved the two little terraces and easy access to the pool. The breakfast was superb and it was great to meet other guests and to chat to Frederic and his partner. Some great other touches too, like an aperitif one evening, which made this an exceptional stay. -

Le petit déjeuner est copieux composé de produits locaux et fait maison. Notre chambre "Isabelle "nous a séduit par sa décoration et sa très belle vue. Merci à nos hôtes pour ce moment...

Oui nous sommes arrivés avec 15min de retard au Check in (heure max 19h) mais on avait l’impression que c’était la fin du monde - petit déjeuner : pâte à tartiner expirée depuis plus de deux mois. Ma compagne demande si il y’avait autre chose que des cerises et demande si nos hôtes ont des kiwis. Ils nous répondent qu’ils n’ont pas de kiwis alors qu’on en voyait dans le saladier… Dommage la maison est magnifique et les chambres très belles.

- Greg (4/5): Left Early & Would Not Stay Again - They advertise air conditioning however there is no "air flow" ventilation. They seem to have a concrete floor chilling system which water condensates on making it slippery. The day we arrived we expressed our concern with comfort and my wife asked for a fan/ventilator and the owner indicated he did not have one. Without any air circulation the room was uncomfortably warm so we did not sleep well. We booked for 3 nights and decided to leave after night 2 since we could not sleep. The owner indicated he would agree to work with us on early cancellation, but after we finally fell asleep at 5:00 am we slept until 11:00 so the owner decided he would not cooperate since we passed the checkout time. Also the Hotels photos show all sorts of beautiful foods but the breakfast provided was pretty much a standard continental breakfast as you would get at a regular hotel, so we were a bit disappointed with that as well. The owner is not a good host as he is more argumentative with his unhappy guests rather than being apologetic. The place and the location is really beautiful however. It might have been a different experience if we went in spring or fall when the weather is cooler since the rooms are too warm in summer heat.

- Montse (8/5): Casa rural estupenda para pasar unos días de relax - Pasamos una sola noche pero la casa es fantástica, sobre todo para disfrutarla en verano porque tiene un jardín con chill-out y una piscina atemperada. Esta muy cerca de Gordes que es un pueblecito de la provenza con un encanto especial. Visitamos también la cercana abadía de Senanque, toda una joya cisterciense en la que se respira la paz de la vida monástica. La estancia en las Terrassas de Gordes fue muy agradable, la habitación muy limpia y caldeada. La ducha y el lavabo muy nuevos y en conjunto todo muy bien decorado, con un estilo rústico y a la vez elegante. Recuerdo todavía el aroma del ambientador con perfume de la provenza que le daba un toque especial a todo el conjunto.
