• Lynn (6/5): - Rooms cramped. Too tight around wardrobe area. No full length hanging for dresses. Poor breakfast. Breakfast buffet poor layout. Staff not very friendly except housekeeping staff who always greeted us.
• robertmK1543QO (6/5): Nice hotel spoiled by poor food - Staff were very helpful and pleasant , the hotel was 5 star quality and a great location near to the old town .The biggest draw back was the food which was certainly not 5star quality. We were on half board so meals were buffet style, the problem was the cooked food was rarely hot and had been stood for some length of time as evening meals were from 7 to 9 . Breakfast was very similar and not much variety. We complained to the manager and the same night there was an improvement, we were also told we could choose off of the main menu at no extra cost.This was much better as the food was cooked to order and had not been stood for some time going cold.At times the plates were hotter than the food, all in all a nice hotel spoiled by sub standard food.I will not be going back

Friendly and helpful staff. On the terrace you have to go through the cafe part to use showers & Sauna better if they had a door going straight out We had a city view which was lovely, if you pay for a Beach view there are Trees and a Ferris wheel in the way of the View Would highly recommend
• stuartGeorge (10/5): Very convenient clean hotel - This is our second time in Budva and we chose this hotel because of its closeness to old town. Place incredibly clean and staff very helpful . The pool area is a bit on the small side but gives good choice of lunch food and drink. Staff at pool also very good. We booked half board so if I come again would do B&B. They didn’t offer buffet evening meal but a set menu each day and whilst food was delicious menu had limited choice. We decided after two days to eat out in evening as there was so much good choice nearby. Would definitely use hotel again if we came and we loved drinking on the outside terrace in the evening people watching.
• martinaannehegeo (8/5): Summer stay in Budva - Nice room and balcony facing the seaside promenade, but still quiet. Great breakfast and possibility to sit in the yard. Poolarea is small but very nice, both for sun lovers and if you want shadow. Nice staff, very helpfull and serviceminded.

• williamwQ3306UZ (10/5): Excellent Hotel - We stayed at Hotel Budva from the 27th June to 4th July. The hotel location is excellent for access to the beach front and old town. We asked if we could move room for a better view and the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating in facilitating this. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is well decorated and very clean everywhere. We could not fault this hotel and would definitely book to stay here again.

• amypx (10/5): Gorgeous hotel, friendly staff - The hotel itself is stunning! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a nice size and always spotless following a housekeeping visit. The food was lovely, with a large range of options for breakfast. The pool area was nice and quiet. We paid a bit extra for a sea view room which I imagine would be much better than looking at the shopping centre on the other side. Couldn’t fault the hotel at all and would absolutely stay here again! :)
• Nhaddad (10/5): Excellent Hotel with a great location - I visited this hotel as a tour leader with a group of 25 persons, in April 2025. Excellent hotel in all ways. Firstly, the location of the hotel is unbeatable. at a very short walking distance from the old city and located just in front of the sea front with all the restaurants and the cafes. Nice, welcoming and professional staff. Beautiful, comfortable large rooms. fully equipped bathrooms. Excellent breakfast Will recommend strongly this hotel

Completely refurbished sizable rooms with a balcony facing the sea and impressive garden. Roomy walk in shower. A minibar full of drinks and snacks. • 9purplestars (2/5): Not what was advertised - Arrived to find a funfair in front of the hotel instead of seaviews. Left immediately . Definitely not what was advertised. Told Ferris wheel would shut down lights and music at 11. Not very helpful for restful holidays. Nothing else to say except this won't let me leave a review less than 200 letters so writing useless words . The hotel may have been nice but we did not stay long enough to find out
• Dustin (10/5): Perfect! - One of the best hotels ive stayed at hands down. Very clean, great location, affordable, staff was very friendly, breakfast was great and room was comfortable and quiet.
• 2018_Lea_2018 (6/5): This didn't feel like a 5 star hotel - Day 1 - I asked for an iron and ironing board. I was told by the reception staff that it was a 5 star hotel so they don't supply these items as they offer a laundry service you have to pay for. This is the first time I have been to a 5-star hotel that doesn't supply you with an iron. Spending my money on ironing is not something I want to do with my holiday spending money. The items I did need ironing were just left in the bathroom with the shower on hot, to steam out the creases. The bathroom products were not 5 star. The towels were small bath towels The breakfast certainly wasn't 5 star. Some of the choices were chicken wings, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. Chicken hot dogs that looked like the most processed food item I have ever seen. The pastries were mediocre only 2 to choose from, the cake selection didn't look great. Fruit was fine. Tea and coffee were from a machine. I have never been to a 5 star hotel were the staff didn’t serve you your tea and coffee at breakfast. The staff were slow in collecting your used plates and cutlery and the 2 times we were at breakfast at 8am there was no staff at all until about 9am. Once the spoons at the tea point ran out they didn't seem to be replaced. A few days into our holiday the peppermint tea had run out. So I asked if they had more the waitresses proceeded to get a full box from the stock cupboard under the tea point. So they weren't even checking on the supplies for the guests. Location - was perfect for the old town 5-minute walk however the area at the back of the hotel that faces the beach is very run down. So not a great view. This is where you have your breakfast. Sun loungers - about 98% of the sun loungers had a rip in them making them slightly uncomfortable to lie on as your body dipped in the centre. The hotel was very clean and modern so looked like a 5-star hotel but certainly didn't feel like I was on a 5 star holiday.

We booked a room with sea side but there is a big ferris wheel just in front of the hotel. Coudn’t see anything. Gym and sauna work just until 7pm. Staff seems bored most of time. Location is good, near old town, but noisy. For sure there are better 5 stars options in Budva.

The services and amenities are all good, but not excellent. I would say it is more of 4 or 4.5 star hotel.

Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, even a supermarket. Clean and comfortable room (we took the seaside view, and had some noise on one evening). Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was fine, but did not have enough variety. Water in the shower was not sufficiently hot in the evening (morning ok).

• Shaheen7865 (8/5): Hotel Budva - Montenegro - The hotel is really well placed for everything in Budva. Was it 5 stars? Not so sure but it was lovely, clean and effort had been made to make it look like a 5 star hotel. We went for bed & breakfast stay. The breakfast was standard. The highlight being the fruit platter which was amazing and fresh each day. The rooms were cleaned each day and comfortable. Budva is a beautiful place to visit…and is worth a visit. People can be brusque, unfriendly and almost rude in manner and this can be quite off putting as a tourist coming to the country to enjoy a holiday. Either they are being deliberately difficult or I felt made no attempt to try and speak English. Only negative really. The old town is a must!!! Although cards are accepted - word of advice cash is still preferred in many places.

We stayed here for a special birthday trip we couldn’t fault the hotel food was excellent the room with a balcony was spotless yes it was noisy with the hustle & bustle but that was all part of the experience but once you closed the balcony doors then it was all peaceful The staff were lovely especially the chamber ladies always smiling and up for a bit of humour The only thing that needs toning down some of the waiters when together were a bit loud but apart from that the whole experience was lovely would recommend without hesitation know it’s in a perfect location for old town bars and restaurants but when using restaurants ask if they take card payment a lot don’t but conveniently they own a cash machine which charges €5 plus offer you a really expensive exchange rate the machines give you the option take euros let your bank do the exchange rate you will save 7-8p a euro
• atchell2016 (8/5): Best situated hotel in BUDVA. - This hotel is superb,clean everwhere,quiet rapid lifts,superb staff,helpfull reception,really comfortable bedrooms with very uptodate tv,in several languages. WE stayed severn nights,air con,fridge and kettle,room cleaning was exceptional,and what a varied breakfast buffet,in the resteraunt each morning. 5 minutes walk along the front to the old town,15 minutes walk to main autobus station,from here you can go any where in MONTENEGRO,. We would stay here again.

• dazzafrosty (8/5): Almost but not quite perfect - A lovely stylish hotel right next to the beach and minutes walk from the old town very comfortable clean rooms very friendly staff excellent selection for breakfast great views if you have a sea view room couldn't really fault much about the hotel but if I'm going to be really picky (considering it's a 5* hotel) the outside pool is freezing cold and the pipped music that's on a loop that plays continuously from early morning right through to late evening in reception will drive you mad especially if you've got a room on the first floor near the stairs as it travels upwards it doesn't serve any purpose otherwise all good.

Need to mention Nikola who is very professional and very much service oriented. However for housekeeping I find it weird to have the room cleaned in less then 5 minutes!! Also a box of tissue and a coffee machine in the room would be appreciated for a 5 star hotel

• Ljulja (6/5): Beautiful but uncomfortable. - The hotel is beautiful and the location is great. The beds and pillows are very uncomfortable. It’s two very flat and hard twin mattresses pushed together for form a double bed. The linen and pillows are very uncomfortable. Overall, hard to get a good night sleep. I would expect more from a boutique hotel. Also, they don’t offer beach beds at coco beach like they used to…so expect to pay to use a beach.

• Jing (6/5): - The property is marked as 5 start hotel but it actual fall short of the professional standards. The hotel is next to v busy main pedestrian road and other clubs, it is v noisy throughout the whole days and even at mid nights. I hardly have any quite nights next to my windows with incredible loud dancing and sing music next to my ears fr the balcony on one night that last until 1 am in the morning ! And this only our 2nd night at the hotel with the 1st night a large group talking loudly under my balcony until midnight and so similar to the rest of our stay. I had to catch up with my sleep for half day the next day due to lack of sleep . And although the hotel balcony has a sea view , it is mostly blocked by the tall in front of it . The hotel has not much privacy for the clients as when u seat on your balcony, there will be strangers sitting in front of your balcony watching into your balcony . We even had terrible night experiences being followed by a group of strangers who seem to be coordinating with each other fr the restaurant near by to near our hotel. We felt being watched by some evil doers while we stayed in budva. As a result of this , we felt unsafe to stay any longer and had to checked out earlier and wasted one night stay at the hotel because it is i refundable and the hotel manager refuse to do refund to us despite of the issues we had during our stay .

• Andrew (6/5): Expensive and noisy - We came here after the wonderful Hilton in Podgorica, it was significantly more expensive for a much lower quality hotel experience. The rooms were simple, modern, but basic. Good dinner. Breakfast average, with fruit juice that tasted like children’s cordial and poor quality coffee. At breakfast and dinner, very loud children - not recommend for a quiet couples get-away. Beach view was limited. Overall, a nice hotel, but I’m not clear why it’s so popular and expensive.

• Craig (10/5): Great place to stay - Great property right on the marina and only 5 minutes from the old town. Stayed there one night on the way down to Albania. Perfect place to get your head down and go out to eat in town. Parking was free and easy, check in simple and the pool was clean and warm. I would return to this hotel.

• Verified traveler (10/5): THE Place to Stay in Budva - This has to be the best place to stay in the entire city. Everything was so clean and the decor was beautiful. The free breakfast featured an omelet bar and a buffet! To top it off, the staff was friendly and helpful. If I visit Budva again, this will be the hotel I’m staying at.

• Artan (10/5): Impeccably clean hotel, amazingly courteous staff - Amazing staff, super welcoming and courteous. The facility is in impeccable condition. Breakfast, which is included with the stay, is really good too. Location is perfect, it's in the waterfront, walking distance to Old Town, and just a short 12 minute drive to Sfeti Stefan. If I'm coming to Budva again, and being so close from Kosovo, I will be back, I won't think twice about going elsewhere. Hotel Budva is where it's at. Keep up this standard of hospitality, you are amazing.

Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Nice outdoor pool area looking toward beach. Only negative was the gym is tiny and outdated.

Tidy and clean .. was more of an IKEA type of furniture in the rooms .. unfortunately there was no Coffee maker nor water bottles were provided for the guests .. breakfast was not impressive as i noticed if you were getting in at 9:00am most of the Chef Dishes were empty .. no one cared to refill hot dishes .. there were bites of breads .. and the remaining hot dishes were cold, not even warm .. i complained but that was a bit late as i was checking out ..

• Chelle (10/5): A gem in Budva - When we arrived we were welcomed by the friendly staff on reception. Despite being early they managed to get us into our rooms and put us next door to each other. The pool area is a nice place to relax and the bar staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us, every time we ordered drinks they knew what we were having. Tijuan (hope I spelt that right) on reception was great, a slight misunderstanding but she helped turn it around, was happy to help and arranged taxis for us for a trip to Kotor and the airport. Breakfast was not short of choice and the choices were plentiful and everything tasted great. The staff were friendly and were quick to clean away. The young lady welcoming us for breakfast was amazing, she was personable and always smiling. The room was exactly as pictured online, it felt luxurious, spacious and had plenty of storage. The cleaning ladies did a great job every morning and always ensured we were topped up with toiletries. Being a pasty Brit the air con was a brilliant and welcomed addition to the room. The only downside would be the music at night from clubs along the road, I did read previous reviews and packed ear plugs. Would be a good idea to have these in the room for those that don't pack them. I loved my week in Budva and Hotel Budva added to this experience. I would love to return to Budva and would definitely book with the hotel and will definitely recommend it to friends.

Local area nice with restaurants neat and old town about 10 minute walk. Lots of construction in the area but hotel cannot change that. Classy hotel.

• PlantpotPete (8/5): Beware of the noise, we won't be returning! - Lovely hotel, decent eating places but during July and August the noise between 10.00 pm and 1.00 am is horrendous. We changed rooms 3 times at Hotel Budva and still could not sleep until after 1.00 am. Consequently we were still tired every morning. Budva is developing its holiday services and there is still some scope for improvement, so don't expect much sophistication and try to stay close to the Old Town because the nearer you are to Becici the noisier and more crowded it becomes. However, despite the noise there doesn't appear to be much rowdiness or drunken behaviour in the evening. Beware when booking through Expedia as they are not best value. Check other providers and remember you need to pay for transfers. An interesting holiday but not a patch on Dubrovnik and we won't be returning to Budva.
• Robert (8/5): Nice hotel let down by small things. - The hotel was almost completely satisfactory as a 4*+ hotel. I rate hotels, however, on the basis of the fruit juice served at breakfast. On this basis, the hotel only rated 2*. The fast, reliable, secure WiFi was totally unreliable.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Probably the best you will see in Montenegro - This hotel is a level above Montenegro in general. Staff are ever accommodating and friendly. Not all items on restaurant menu are available but staff will make pleasing recommendations. Close to 'nightclub' area, so very loud at night. Did not see any other hotels of comparable high standard in Budva, however.
• Claire (8/5): Nice hotel, good location - Hotel Budva was very nicely decorated and in a great location right by the beach and a few minutes walk from the Old Town. The hotel itself had good facilities, but it felt like we were there out of season even though we visited at the end of May with the pool closing at 5pm and the sauna not set up (in fairness, we didn't ask for them to turn it on). Breakfast was decent and the 1 meal we had was good too. The hotel is located at the end of the strip so we could hear music in the room which went on to the early morning. In addition, although the hotel was very smart, the surrounding area outside the hotel was pretty shabby and Budva in general was disappointing. Felt a little over priced - but that's probably more due to Budva than the hotel itself.

• QINGWEI (10/5): Very Nice Hotel - Very nice hotel with perfect location for both city beach and old town. Modern and new hotel. Comfortable room. Would be more than great if the twin beds get a bit larger. Restaurant, street food and supermarket around the hotel. Staff was friendly. A variety of selections for breakfast. Overall quite good. Strongly recommended.
