- skytan16 (2/5): Will Not Stay Here Again - I’m sad to leave this review because I don’t have much to say that is good about this hotel. Front desk staff were unapproachable and rude- not helpful in any way. Only found out that I had to pay $15 per day to park after we checked out. Maybe I was told this upon check in but front desk girl did not speak clear English. I don’t remember seeing this charge on the website when making reservations. The pillows are horrible- the mattress sinks in the middle. There are no upgrades in this hotel for elite status members. No complimentary breakfasts. The customer service at the bistro was questionable. The cook however made up for that being personable and nice. Cleanliness of hallways was not great. Marriott Bonvoy members pay a lot to be of an elite status and expect a certain level of quality during their stays- this hotel does not live up to the quality at all sadly. Will not be staying here ever again.

- valeriesQ2980FQ (6/5): Steps away from the beach. - This Courtyard is in a great location at St.Augustine Beach, just steps away and across the street from the beach. The hotel atmosphere is average and the employees are extremely helpful and friendly. A lot about the hotel seems outdated, like no microwave ovens in each room, also every other day housekeeping. There is ample parking and many restaurants nearby within walking distance. This hotel will do in a pinch but is one of a few in the same category that offer better amenities.

- travelnutmidlothian (4/5): Didn’t Meet Expectations - I was not happy at check-in to be informed there would be a $15 per day parking fee. As Marriott Bonvoy members and having stayed here several times in the past, that was new to me and it was not easily found in their hotel description. In addition, they have a very small coffee maker in the room and no microwave. This may not be a big deal had they had a complementary breakfast or at least coffee in the lobby and the bistro in the hotel is way overpriced. There are several places within walking distance where you can purchase breakfast. The room was standard and looking worn. The pool is not heated and the water was very cold. In the future, we will definitely look elsewhere to stay when visiting St Augustine.

I love the layout of the lobby, nice area for my family to hang out in. My refrigerator did not get that cold. Also, the room temperature was inconsistent throughout the night.

Short walk to the beach and plenty of places to eat within walking distance. There was a pool but we chose the beach. It looked small but nice spot if you had little ones and wanted to spend some time in the pool. Why not a higher rating? First, housekeeping is every other day unless requested. This would have been wonderful to know upon checking in. Second, I am a big coffee morning coffee drinker and since we had no house cleaning, the coffee wasn't replenished . No biggie but when I went to the front desk they only had three pods they could give to me. Last, there is a daily 15$ fee for parking that I didn't see on their web page for the hotel. Maybe I missed it? Maybe it's buried in fine print or not listed at all, but I didn't like the surprise fee.

Room was nice but public spaces in the hotel look like they're under maintenance, but there's no indication that they are. Paint chipping, floorboards removed. Swimming pool is ice cold. Outdoor temperature 47° f. Pool still open. Free parking, a plus. This hotel is not convenient to historic St Augustine. Don't mistake St Augustine Beach for St Augustine Florida. They're two different places about 20 mi apart. I'm not saying St Augustine Beach is not a good place, it's just not a great place to visit in the winter. Prices here were significantly lower than in St Augustine.

- 494jaimealbertol (2/5): The worst service experience - This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a hotel, especially considering this is a Marriott property. I stayed at the hotel from December 23 to December 26, in room 446. After leaving and while driving back to West Palm Beach, I realized I had forgotten several personal belongings in the room closet: two brand-new blue Perry Ellis shirts, one beige pair of pants, and two white women’s jackets. I immediately began calling the hotel and have continued to call every single day since then. Each time, I was placed on hold, transferred from reception to voicemail, or redirected to another voicemail without any follow-up. No one took responsibility or provided clear assistance. Only today did someone finally respond, informing me that the items were “not found” and that nothing could be done. When I asked if that meant I was simply going to lose my personal belongings, the call was abruptly disconnected. This level of negligence, lack of communication, and disrespect toward a guest is completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel chain that claims to uphold high service standards. The handling of lost items and the way I was treated reflect a serious failure in customer service. I would never have expected this from Marriott, and I would strongly caution other guests to think twice before staying here.
- Stay04392447495 (2/5): Full Occupancy Is Not an Excuse for Poor Planning - We booked a contracted room with a guaranteed check-in of 4:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM, yet when we arrived on time, we were told no rooms were available because management had granted too many late checkouts. We — along with six other families — were left waiting in the lobby for nearly two hours past check-in, with staff unable or unwilling to provide a realistic estimate of when a room would be ready. Simply stating that the hotel was at full occupancy is not an excuse — it is a failure of planning and management. This situation reflects inefficient and lazy management. Late checkouts were clearly oversold without regard for incoming guests, and there was no urgency, accountability, or proactive communication. Guests were left in limbo while management avoided taking responsibility for the problem they created. For a Courtyard/Marriott property, this level of operational disorganization and disregard for guests is unacceptable. We will not be returning and would caution others to reconsider staying here if timely check-in matters.

- Dawn (8/5): Overall decent stay and would probably stay again. - Breakfast not included, Bistro never knew operating hours so never got anything to eat at Hotel, went to go to lunch one day at 12:30 and it was closed. came in one evening and it was closed then. One room had had the shower remodeled but the other one did not. Other than that it was good and might stay there again if I go to St Augustine in the future. Better Knowledge of the Bistro hours and a little more knowledge of the trolley route. Also thought the courtyard meant you could go from your room to the courtyard without having to go out into the hallway to get there. Also the fire pit was very nice but was only on one night of the stay we were planning to sit out on thursday with our granddaughter and have something warm to drink after going to the night of lights. - wb1150 (6/5): Be aware - 2026 they will charge for parking $15 a day. - Be aware 2026 they will charge a daily fee of $15 for parking which does affect how I rate this hotel. This Marriott even with high status does not give water bottles—-only a large water container in the lobby (concerns me about germs or cleaning of the container that is refilled every day). Also with Marriott status you are only given $10 per person for breakfast. The cost for a breakfast item without coffee or juice is at least $14 so you will pay what a normal breakfast cost out even with a $10 credit. This hotel has a good location, but we will stay elsewhere because of the new parking fee.

- Katharina (9/5): Schönes Hotel, gute Lage - Sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtete Zimmer. Es war sauber und mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Der fitnessraum ist ausreichend: Laufband, ergometer, Kurzhanteln. Kaffee von Starbucks ist auch sehr gut. Es sind ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden und abends fährt alle 15 Minuten ein Shuttle nach St Augustine Downtown bzw. Bis zur Brücke. Diese muss man zu Fuß überqueren, aber ein tolles Angebot!! Wenig freundlicher Empfang.

- johnlucian (8/5): - Being in a good location, close to the beach and restaurants The hotel was during renovation on our floor. It should have been much lower cost for that reason
- Carole (8/5): - This property has been renovated and I’ve stayed there before. All in all it’s good. The bathroom had signs of needing a little attention but it wasn’t major. We had no microwave in our room and that was odd. Had to ask the front desk for a TV remote but the team member was quick to provide one so a very minor issue that was easily resolved. All in all I’d stay there again.

- Karl (8/5): - This used to be a great hotel, now it is just a good hotel. As the carpets and bedding age, they are using more chemical cleaners and air fresheners in the room. We had a headache from the perfumes.
- DR SUSAN W (10/5): - We have stayed at this property several times...Always a very good experience...We use the Beach Trolley/ Old Town Trolley every time...Very convenient...No need to try to park in St. Augustine !
