• Daniela Christel (2/5): - Nie wieder! Das Zimmer war schmutzig und alt/abgewohnt. Das Bett im besten Fall ein Campingbett. Das Personal an der Rezeption äußert unfreundlich. Beim Frühstück gab es nur eine ganz kleine Auswahl, es sah unappetitlich aus, Tauben liefen durch den Speisesaal.

Rooms are old, very old.You can't even get a kettle to the room to boil water for baby milk...You can see on the walls killed mosquitos and they were with us 11 days. Cleaners were very nice but they do what they are allowed to do....Once it was raining so we had water on the floor from balkony. Shower was leasing but at least they fixed that. Food....every day same and standing in the queue 30min.....They say they have car park but receptionist was complaining we got 7 seat car....what can I say....Location is very good, near to the beach and main street, that is only one thing I can recommend.

Le seul défaut est que ce l’adresse mentionnée par Hôtel.com et par Google n’est pas conforme ni le téléphone du coup nous avons tourné en rond un certain temps il est urgent d’y remédier
• Svein Ove (10/5): Fantastiske dager på Ischia 😎 - Fantastisk opphold på ischia, selv om KLM ikke klarte å få frem bagasjen på 5 dager. Hotelbetjeningen var svært hjelpfulle med å kontakte currier, men ingen bagasje. Hotellet hadde en fantastisk sentral beliggenhet.

Our room was big and beautiful but noisy (we could hear neighbors like they were in our room). Needs full refreshment and will be perfect.

• Luca (4/5): - L'albergo è grande ed è situato in un pinto centrale di Ischia. Non lo consiglio per nulla per diversi motivi: 1) colazione: colazione peggiore che abbia mai visto. Ci sono 2 tipi di cornetti, uno alla crema (che non si sente, né si vede) ed uno vuoto; l'impasto è ottimo ma dì dolce non vedi altro se non un mini tortino (che una volta finito... ciaone). Chi l'ha preso, ok. Chi è arrivato tardi, non lo trova. Di salato non c'è praticamente nulla se non un pò di affettato (mortadella e formaggio) con pane talmente duro che sembra raffermo. 2) camere: la camera era grande, ma aveva molte pecche nelle rifiniture, la guarnizione della finestra era appesa, si sentiva ogni singolo rumore ed il letto cigolava. 3) reception: il signore con cui ho parlato era gentile, educato e per bene. Gli avrei messo 10 stelle fosse stato solo per lui. La signora che ci ha accolto invece stava sulle sue e ha cercato di spillarmi 12€ di parcheggio quando dopo le 18 potevo parcheggiare gratuitamente sulle strisce blu a 2 passi dell'hotel.

Ci è piaciuta molto la zona dove è ubicata, la vicinanza con il mare, il panorama suggestivo, le principali attrazioni di Ischia Porto ad un passo e allo stesso tempo la tranquillità del posto. Ci torneremo e lo consigliamo.

• Vanda (8/5): - Personale gentile e disponibile. Colazione sufficiente, relativamente al prezzo e all'elevato numero di ospiti. Soggiornato dal 2 al 7 agosto 2023 nelle camere ristrutturate. Da segnalare l'attenzione al clente: le reti mediaset del televisore in camera non avevano il volume, dopo averlo riferito alla reception, di domenica pomeriggio il manutentore ha risolto il problema.

Le petit déjeuner n'était pas agréable, bondé, il faut faire la queue pour le café, peu de choix, une ambiance colonie de vacances. Pour avoir accès à la piscine il faut un bonnet, chose non mentionné par avance. La localisation est agréable car proche du port, du ferry et du château.

• janadomaz (2/5): Review of the stay - The hotel located in the street with heavy traffic all day and night long, terrible smog way felt as well. Breakfast was ONLY sweet and very very basic. Not good value for money. Otherhwise thé room was clean.

Room two better but plaster coming of the walls Room three better but tiere Complained to management who miraculously found us a lovely clean new modern room with terrace Then dinner! Disaster was told didnt need to reserve. Sat down to be asked to move. Table we moved from was sea view. We were moved to middle of restaurant whilst a number of seaview tables remained empty all night! We have already paid for our meal so shouldn't it be first come first served! Day one ! Could this holiday get any worse

• Michael445040 (2/5): If you have booked - cancel the booking - I have just returned from this hotel after on week (to 13.09.19) The staff cannot be bothered, they are unable to smile or attempt any form of pleasantries - never have I experienced anything like this. Breakfast is free - it has to be as you would not pay for it - pigeons lite on tables and go into a feeding frenzy once the guest has left - this does not bother waiting staff The bar opens only at certain times - you cannot use cash - you are given a little yellow strip of paper and on it a bar code -the paper slip appears to have been cut out by a five-year-old using blunt scissors. We did get moved from a room that has not been redecorated since the 70s to a modern bright room however the shower had no power in it and what should have taken a few minutes, took 10. My coffee cup sat at the swimming pool for at least 36 hours and may well still be there. One night I watched as the pool attendant "bucked" chlorine into the pool and the next day (and again I have never seen this) the pool attendant hosed down the seating areas washing debris into the small pool (?) The one thing my wife did comment on that the room was well cleaned and always left very tidy - that is not or never will be enough to want to return to this hotel - I have seen care homes managed better. Our taxi driver asked why or who picked this hotel - at that I should have known

• Ann (6/5): Ok for the money - Booked 2 rooms for my large family. We were put on 2 different floors. One room Wasn’t ready until after 3:00. “Hotel & Lido” implies the hotel has a beach which it does not so we had to go to another beach which was nearby. Although the room was clean the bed covers were not and I noticed the cleaning staff did not have them in the carts so I assume they don’t change them for every guest. Convenient location close to beaches, port, restaurants and shopping
• Verified traveler (10/5): - The desk manager made sure we were upgraded to a sea view room at no additional charge the second evening, dynamite! All of the staff were so nice to us as we did not understand Italian. The Turkish spa is inexpensive and is so nice to relax and in. The half board was the best we have ever experienced and the wait staff is so helpful. The community of Ischia is the US equivalent to Key West,FL. We just had a really great time. We were only there for 2 days during the busy Easter break time. If you are going in the summer plan to take the Ferry (runs daily) and you can easily spend a week there in the warmer months. We will return again and pick this hotel for sure!
• OnAir542212 (6/5): Beautiful views sub par rooms and bathrooms - The rooms are bare basic with showers that redefine the word water closet. So small you have to turn sideways to get in and out. Food at the buffets really sub par, same dishes for each meal.beautiful sea views and great location.
• Anthony (2/5): - One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I dont even know where to begin. Firstly, forget the images you see online, we had no balcony and the view from our room was a brick wall. At check in you are given the key to your room, told which of the 2 buildings your room is in and that's it, work the rest out yourself. The breakfast "buffet" is as follows, Yogurt, a bowl of tinned fruit, a plate of plain biscuits, a plain or chocolate croissant, terrible machine made coffee, and a basket of old bread off-cuts which you can toast in the 1970's toaster. Indoor heated pool? Wow, the kids looked forward to that, well.... you have to pay to use it and you must be over 16 years old, and honestly you would not go in anyway. Forget what those internet pics look like, it's old, smelly and dark down there and when full looks like someone is making an old chicken broth! Use the outside pool right? No! You need a swimming cap to use that pool! Where do I get one? Dont know. Remember to BYO towels for swimming, because "its strictly forbidden to use hotel towels, and you will be charged". The rooms are seriously out dated, bathroom was mouldy, and the TV was the size of a shoe box! If you are not Italian (I am but my family aren't) or elderly (whom this hotel seem to cater for) you will be ignored. You cant even buy a coffee from the bar or send your kids to grab an ice cream, like ours tried, instead you have to go to reception and organise a pre paid bar card. This hotel almost
• Rosanna (2/5): Hotel da incubo - La camera assegnata era posizionata con il terrazzo a 3 metri dagli aspiratori della cucina. Quindi non vista mare ma con cucina e relativi odori. La ristorazione non era da hotel da 4 stelle ma da bettola infima. Cibo scarso, congelato,e scadente. Niente frutta fretta e prodotti locali ma occasionalmente qualche fetta di anguria o dolce che causava code per procurarsi una fetta. Tavoli piccoli e di plastica con tovaglioli di carta , brocche di plastica con acqua di dubbia igiene come il resto vedi locali. Stessa cosa per la colazione con l'aggravante della massiccia presenza dei colombi che condividevano indisturbati il cibo sui tavoli. Ambienti vecchi, sporchi con muri scrostati. Il centro benessere se così vogliamo definirlo aveva la sala fanghi sporche con attrezzatura vecchia e arrugginita, personale non qualificato,le piscine in condizioni igieniche da paura, mai pulite in 14 giorni. Ci sono tantissime cose che non funzionavano e penso che quanto scritto brevemente possa scoraggiare il soggiorno in questa pessima struttura che meriterebbe di essere chiusa e i proprietari multati perché utilizzano falsa pubblicità. Ho diverse foto per verificare le condizioni dell'hotel. VOTO 0
• Christian (8/5): Un buon compromesso in posizione eccezionale. - Le 4 stelle sono eccessive.La struttura é datata e andrebbe ristrutturata.La posizione é eccellente nel centro di Ischia Porto e sul mare.La camera era pulita e ampia con un bel bagno con vasca e un balcone con una vista mare spettacolare.La colazione purtroppo pessima,ci vuole poco x fare meglio.Nel complesso sono rimasto soddisfatto.
• Midwesternmember (4/5): WTH?!? - Last minute decision to take a ferry from Sorrento and stay overnight in Ischia. Hotels were sparse. Hotel is across the street from a busy beach. For the amount we paid for our room ($850), I would’ve expected a nice plush room. Walking into the hotel felt like walking into a 3rd world country. Old, moldy smell. Bathroom is tiny. Shower head was old and rusty, beds were very hard like sleeping on plywood, paper thin walls so you could hear the neighbors talking, room keys are actual keys with large heavy key chains in attached, no room decor, furniture was extremely old and fragile and our room was below the bar. Loud party music followed by chairs and tables moving across the floor until 2am and dishes banging in the early morning. If this was a 4 star hotel then my expectations were way too high. I’d rate this a 2 star at best. Who ever gives a good review of this dump is on something. The only good thing about this hotel is that the AC worked really well in the room.

• Ane (4/5): Ringe service - Hotellet ligger formidabelt lige ved havet og tæt på hovedgaden. Udsigten fra værelserne er smuk. Disse er de eneste årsager til jeg ikke giver hotellet nul stjerner. Servicen var elendig, morgenmaden var ringe (langt under italiensk standart), hotellet var små slidt og værst af alt være de ansatte ikke i stand til at forklare diverse regler vedrørende parkering på engelsk. Ved ankomsten efterspurgte vi parkering på stedet, dette kunne ikke lade sig gøre. I stedet for kunne hotellet udstede et dokument for 24 euro, hvilket gav os tilladelse til parkering og til at køre i en bestemt gade. Vi takkede ja i god tro. Desværre viste det sig, at det officielle italienske dokument INTET havde at gøre med parkering og vi fik en bøde. Da vi beklagede os, spurgte hotellet hvorfor vi dog ikke havde benyttet deres parkering...hvilken frækhed! Det endte med at vi måtte betalte yderligere 24 euro for at parkere på hotellet. Kan IKKE anbefale dette hotel medmindre man gerne vil har en fin lokation og er ligeglad med service og mad.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Close to the beach. - Room was newly updated & with air con. Hotel was large & break was ok but simple. Pool Was small & was arm (thermal Island so to be expected) to use the pool all swimmers need a swim hat . Can be purchased in ishica shop for 2 euros. Overall good hotel , communal area a little worn but not important when next to the beach . Has a pool & air con.

Linen is washed every other day, no in room WiFi, breakfast window is only 2 hours. Check out is 10:30 a.m. that’s a little early considering that Ischia is a vacation location. Staff was decent for the most part although no one was really outstanding.

• Patricia (4/5): Lovely island awful hotel - Hotel was a real disappointment. No WiFi room clean but badly in need of updating. Basin was cracked, towels were thin, hard and not absorbent. A double room with only three pillows, plastic cups provided and not replaced. Breakfast boring with no fresh fruit - only tinned mixed fruit. Toaster was extremely slow. On the plus side the waiting and cleaning staff were polite and helpful. Sadly the same could not be said of the reception staff, some of whom had great difficulty in acknowledging you needed help - and very begrudgingly assisted. The location is the only thing going for this hotel. Not somewhere I would recommend you stay!

• Verified traveler (8/5): Hotel is visited mostly by Italian pensioners. - Good location. Near a nice beach, close to shops, the bank, the bus station and the port. We most enjoyed Thermal spa Giardini Poseidon 35 min by bus. In the half-board the dinner was from delicious and varied Italian cuisine.

• Lorna (6/5): Lovely Location and Staff - This is our third visit to this hotel and it really does need some money spent on it. The pool area and breakfast area are very nice but the bedrooms and restaurant need updating. The food in the hotel has gone down hill and there is not as much choice as there has been in the past. I'm glad we where only B & B.
• Jane (4/5): Close to the beach, but not a grand hotel - Front desk staff was very friendly. The rooms were a bit outdated and the shower leaked considerably. Irons are not available in the rooms nor at the front desk. Late check out is not available. This is a reasonably priced hotel if you don't plan on being in the room much; just consider it a place to sleep. A "queen" size bed was actually just two twin mattresses pushed together with a fitted sheet placed over them. The wind caused the door to rattle even after securing the deadbolt. If noise doesn't bother you then that's not a deal breaker. Ask for the wifi when you check in; that information isn't offered.
• David (8/5): Nice beach holiday,. - Great location at the beach - near shopping . Hotel is nice, staff are friendly and weather was perfect.. Breakfast was good continental - but dinner was pretty basic and rushed. Opt out of dinner if you want something better or different - lots of choices in the area! Wifi worked in some areas of hotel
• Mike (8/5): Nice Hotel close to the beach - Our stay was great! We stayed on the third floor with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Perfect spot to watch the sunset over the hills! Close to many restaurants and the beach is just steps away. Hotel is about a 15min walk from the pier which was fine because you got to walk right through the town. Would stay here again without hesitation in the future.

You line up for 15 mins to order cappuccino The breakfast croissants were stale ,the cereal was coco pops ,the juice was cordial ,the eggs were like a rock , last day didn't even go for breakfast ,just stayed in 6 different hotels where if it wasn't great at least it was fresh and there were over 100 people at breakfast and they couldn't even serve fresh bread ,oh the cheese was that plastic cheese and the ham was Spam u wouldn't give your dog The view was beautiful , they saidwalking distance from the port 10 mins ,not 25 with suitcase and up a hill ,get a taxi
