Please be aware that 100% of their rooms allow smoking and have a strong cigarette smell. The Hotels.com website is incorrect. To their credit - they offered us a full refund... which didn't help a lot because we booked this in advance to save money only to have to book something last minute (same day) which was double the cost.

This was in the room we had this time but last time we had a shower that wasn't doing this because of its position.

La chambre est jolie, on aimerait aimer des rideaux plus occultant car la lumière extérieure éclairait notre chambre toute la nuit. La salle de bain est plutôt propre mais pas très moderne. L'accueil n'a pas été très chaleureux et on manquant d'informations sur les serviettes de piscine, sur le petit déjeuner et sur l'heure de check-out. Je recommande quand même.

- Zoi (7/5): Overall recommendable - The new pool and bungalows right in front of it were nice. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the cafe next door great! The bathroom is wheelchair accessible. It’s also a nice short walk to the night market, the mall, laundry, massage and restaurants. It does require severe renovations in some parts. Our first room close to the old pool had mold in the bathroom. They changed us to another one instantly though. In another one the AC wasn’t working. And I hurt my knee on some broken tiles inside the kids pool. But overall I’d still come again a it’s great value for the price and the staff go out of their way to help you.

- David William (8/5): - The janan villa was a great experience. The accomodation was ok, but lacked some simple things like tea towels, and wasn't especially clean. Itvwas comfortable enough and staff were attentive and helpful. The pool and grounds are awesome and the groundsmen keep the pool very clean. Blend cafe/resturant, next door was absolutely great. There are good shopping food places within walking distance. For the price it was good, and suitable for our family. A couple of small improvements in cleanliness, and fixing a few fixtures in the room and it would have been great.

Beds were not made up when first arrived, had to ask numerous times for the quilts to be put on. Bathroom was dirty. Rat poo around our kitchen area, no water provided or gas for the stove.

Swimming pool is very good, the villa area is well maintained and is a pleasure to hang out outside. Naturally surrounded by trees and the sound of wild life can be heard which is very relaxing. The bathroom in our villa is not maintained, the bath cannot be used as it's simply dirty and need proper scrubbing, also the drain was very dirty and creates strong smell.

Breakfast was limited with only one option and no indonesian option. Room could do with some light curtain on upstairs windows ( 2 story) as light is very bright on the one side. No water provided or tea and coffee in the room despite having stove and cooking facilities.

- Rino (8/5): Very good - Rooms were spacious. The pool was a good size running between the villas on either side. It is within easy walking distance from Sindhu night markets and Jalan Tamblingan. Payment is made on arrival and a fee is charged if pay by credit card. That is ok but it would have been good if this is mentioned when the booking is made at Booking.com

The room was very generous in size 🫶 The smell of the bathroom lingered quite a bit and because of the area (mossies) we could never air out our room and the bed upstairs wasn't so comfy. - Roxana (3/5): low price but not clean at all - the pool is very nice with a small pool for kids the studio is big the position is good low price not clean at all: cleaning is done daily but only superficially. there were rats in the garden, gekos in the house, geko poo on the curtains. we found a tampon under the matress. the bathroom in not clean and full of spiders and ants. we asked for a drier and they told to ask other rooms. the common spaces with the sun beds are not clean and the matress are stiky.

- Carlos (6/5): Strange mix - Big room with upstairs bedroom. 2 great pools. Big Comfortable bed. Clean Receptionist should try harder, we had to go back and forth asking her for information that should be provided at check in. e.g. is breakfast or food available, WiFi pass word, pool towels, etc. Driver was hopeless, apparently wasn't their normal driver still useless. At airport pickup, went passed the hordes of drivers as usual all with A4 paper with names. Did 3 embarrassing circuits, couldn't find our name. About to contact hotel and saw paper with my name on it lying there, but no driver. I held the piece of paper up and all t h e other drivers were trying to find my driver. There he was lying down on his phone. No conversation or help with the luggage Location is down a street about 10 to 15 minute walk to main street. Lastly, I have travelled extensively throughout Asia and India, use to seeing the odd rat about This place has a serious problem with rats around their garden. Many scurrying about. In a half hour by the pool I saw half a dozen, and never in my 2 days there, was I outside and never saw a rat. I suggest investing in a few cats.

- Tom (4/5): Great location but would not return. - Great looking pool and location. Dirty. Room was very unkept - dirty bath, dark, seemed to not have been cleaned for a little while. Staff at check in/out were not friendly - not sure if this is due to us only booking one night due to an early departure?
- Christoffer (4/5): Rotter og overpris - Der er rotter over alt i villaen. Rengøring er mangelfuld, idet der ikke gives mere toiletpapir eller rene håndklæder. Villaen tilbyder tøjvask, men vil pludselig have dobbelt pris, grundet vejret. Ved poolen efterlades der øl og chips i timevis. Vi var tilmed uheldige med andre larmende gæster.

- Julie (8/5): - The property was beautiful and peaceful. Our family really enjoyed the grounds and swimming pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. We were very happy with our stay. Breakfast options were limited, but tasty.
- Helen Ruth (8/5): - This is a great property tucked in the back of Sanur - 10 minute walk to the shopping road and Sindhu Beach, or a $1.50 taxi ride. The property needs perhaps some maintenance around the grounds, but the staff work hard and our 2 bed apartment was clean and functional. The two pools were amazing, and breakfast was provided each day. Would stay here again.

- David (4/5): - Property looked as if it had seen better better days, was not very clean and ran down. Restaurant that appeared to belong to hotel is now vacant and up for rent. On the plus side we did not pay a lot and this suited us having arrived late at night for a minimal stay but were glad to move on. Beach is about a ten minute walk.

- Anna (8/5): - Unterkunft war ruhig und sauber. Die Lokalität war traditionell . Ein balinesisches Haus mit allem, was dazu gehört. Sehr interessant. Vor der Haustür waren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, aber auch die Möglichkeit, an Reisfeldern spazieren zu gehen.
- Neville (6/5): To be honest if there had of been a happy vibe I could have put up with the negative side - The massage place out the front was amazing. The accommodation that we were moved into after complaining was pretty good. One window couldnt be closed which made us feel a little unsafe and mosquitoes were flying in as well as caterpillars non stop We were put in a room first, like test customer reaction the place was falling to bits When we complained they couldn't get us to a decent room fast enough. The staff were so sour, and this place had an unhappy vibe. They had the electricity hooked up to a timer that just randomly switched off one night and left us in the dark. Rats were running around the place and rubbish had been left around the place.

We ended up cutting our stay to only one night .Also was told the beach was very close within walking distance but it wasnt
- Carmel (8/5): Very good - Staff very helpful. Breakfast was a limited range but well cooked and delivered. Two swimming pools very clean and good to use. Being able to have a two bedroom apartment, each with it's own bathroom. Great for friends who prefer not to share. Great little spa in front of hotels. Some great little warungs close by as well.

- Leeton (4/5): Better value for money elsewhere - Pool Booked for 3 people but then told they don’t have extra beds. The staff seemed unhappy and very on edge and the facilities are basically falling apart. Guests were checking out early and moving rooms due to issues. The location isn’t bad but it’s more expensive than places of similar or better quality

- Aneesah (7/5): Good - The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The swimming pools were lovely. There's even a kiddies pool! Although the rooms were tidy, it could do with a deep clean. Everything else was great.

- Peter (6/5): The staff are wonderful, but we would not stay there again. - The staff Could not swim in the pools, the hottest pools I have ever come across in my travels.Needs a tidy up. No kettle, had to use a pot to boil water to make our tea and coffee, fridge and single gas burner is outside on your veranda.
- Bill (7/5): OK - Nice long (shallow) pools. Quiet back street location, though some traffic noise from highway. Nice plunge pool. No daily drinking water, you have to buy a bottle. No electric kettle, so you have to boil a kettle on the hob, for which you need gas (a charge for this was mentioned but eventually not billed). A/C unit is under-sized for such a large room, and was either in need of a clean or servicing as it didn’t work well.

- Sharon (8/5): Lovely, relaxing stay. - Room was large, pool and gardens were beautifully maintained. Quiet location not too far a walk from shops and restaurants. It’s a little run down but everything worked as it should and the room could do with a good deep clean as opposed to just a surface clean. But these are only minor complaints it wouldn’t deter me from staying again.
- Eliane (4/5): - The bedroom is very basic, bed is so hard, you might as well sleep on the floor. The old dark faded bed lining and old towels didn’t feel very clean and the room was generally in a state of disrepair. The beach was a good 20 min way, it takes forever to get there and there’s so much hassle on the way. The roads are very dirty and smelly, it makes very hard to walk on flip flops. Unfortunately nothing good on this one, staff not helpful and didn’t speak English.

- Usha (6/5): Pleasant - Location is ok ok, good wifi, clean swimming pool. No drinking water facilities, we reached late night but didn’t find mineral water bottles, I asked receptionist they said they can’t provide, very less breakfast options and breakfast location is bad.
- Alex (7/5): Cheap for a 2 bed, needs basics upgraded - Good space, nice and quiet, great pool. Nice neighbourhood kind of area and only a short walk to some nice restaurants, great massage place out the front. Bed mattress and pillows desperately need to be replaced. Bathroom smelt very musty and sliding door had broken glass fixed with duct tape. No hot water
