Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): Superb! - Staff is nice and friendly. Responds quickly in email. Free upgrade to a room with balcony and pyramid view! Hot shower. A heater in the room for cold night in winter is a plus!
- december (10/5): Amazing place to rest and recharge - The hotel staff at this hotel are one of a kind. I made great friends with Abraham, Tata, and Thomas. Such wonderful people. I can’t wait to come back and visit Egypt again. I’ll be staying at the place for sure :)
- Tom (4/5): Right at the Pyramids - The location is ideal for seeing the Pyramids, however, the place is basically a hoarders house with lots of clutter and dust everywhere in the middle of horse and camel stables. The host does well to have beer available on site at a fair price and will deliver food from nearby places. I would stay in Cairo and just travel to Giza for tours. The town is crawling with swindlers. Only use Uber in Egypt. The taxis are notoriously sleezy.
- kenley (10/5): Great hotel great staff - Thomas is the man the owner of the place, helped me with activities really looks out for you. the whole staff really, right in the middle of everything, great pyramid view, wish I could of stayed longer.
- Matt W. (10/5): Still In Awe - The pictures of Egypt seen in history books and many forms of media was not enough . Filling that void prompted me to take a trip to the beautiful land . My only disappointment was on my behalf . I did not have enough time to extend my adventure . But I loved every moment . I disregarded the rumors of danger and turmoil and took a chance . The hotel is situated in a authentic neighborhood whose locals encourage interaction . I learned and felt connected to the people I engaged with ... whether residents or other tourist . The facts and history lessons from guides were sufficient but left me craving more . On and off site the food was amazing esp. the " egyptian pizza " and koshari . You can read reviews all day and stare at pictures at night but there is nothing like first hand expeience .
- Verified traveler (10/5): Just one night not enough - Nice rooms and a great location for the pyramids, I would have like to have stayed longer, but alas this was a last stop before the airport. Other guests, who had been there longer, seemed very happy.
- tracy (10/5): Great location, amazing staff - This is a great guesthouse very close to the pyramids. Sunsets from the rooftop deck are amazing. Thomas and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. He will help set up any excursions you might need. Highly recommend !
- Bruce (8/5): Grat View of Pyramids, friendly staff. - Contact the hotel to arrange a ride from the airport. Look for "Pyramids Loft" sign outside. I found the hostel descent with many different private rooms. The bathrooms are seperate but private. They also have kitchen you can use. Cheap cold beer and they can arrange any activities for you. The pyramids are within walking distance. The view from the rooftop lounge is amazing!! I reccomend a room with AC in the summer.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent location in Giza Pyramids - Nice view to pyramids, excellent staff, i recommend to my friends and travelers this place to stay.
- Roy (10/5): Kool pyramids view - Friendly staff on-site tour guides slept with door unlocked save place pyramids I view of hotel
- Christopher (10/5): Amazing View! - Overall this was a wonderful stay. Thomas the hotel owner can ensure you stay safe and get you tours and anything else needed for a cheaper price than can find advertised. Worth checking out!
- Don (10/5): Great homestay - Fantastic location for the pyramids. Beautiful view from roof terrace. Great value for money with very friendly staff. The fellow guests were all like minded travellers/backpackers etc who understand the importance of this type of homestay. A thouroughly enjoyable 2 night stay
- Verified traveler (8/5): 1 night Stay - location abit hard to find and not much taxi driver know the exact location but the hotel room condition and the owner services are excellent !

- Autumn (8/5): Great stay with a great view - Excellent view of the pyramids from the rooftop, clean room and bathrooms. Thomas is an excellent host. Very safe and secure location, with many places to buy goods, food, and atm close by.
- joel (10/5): great stay great staff. must go. - was a great stay. Thomas and his staff are great. Thomas can make almost anythinf happen if you want to do something, talk to him. he's your man.
halah was an amazing tour guide as well she's a great 'sugar mama'
- Rowena (8/5): - When I booked my accommodation I was contacted by Thomas, the owner and asked if I had any questions/information that I wanted answered. He was very polite and helpful. When we arrived he had upgraded our room which we found to be very clean and spacious. The view of the pyramids from the rooftop was just amazing. There are local shops and restaurants just a few minutes walk from the Loft. You could go horse or camel riding. Thomas also arranged for a guide, Hala Ahmed to show us around the pyramids. She was very knowledgeable and made the experience very pleasant. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Loft as I found everyone so friendly from the staff to the travellers and hopefully when I come back to Egypt I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us :-)
- Amrit (8/5): Great location and friendly staff - Thomas - the hotel owner is extremely friendly, helpful and professional in every way!
- NIKOLAOS (10/5): Amazing stay, with amazing Pyramids view - The pyramids hotel is located nearly 1 min walking from the giza pyramids entrance. It has one of the best views to the pyramids and the light show. Thomas the owener is an amazing guy. Everyday tries to do activities and show his city to his guest. He is very involved. We were about to go to the pyramids and he joined us just to make the tour more easier for us without problems. He knew everything regarding the history and the secret spots for nice pictures.
The hotel rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Thomas offered us free upgrade of the room.
The rooftop and the view is the highlight of our stay.
Thanks Thomas, we will come back soon
- Verified traveler (10/5): This is the way to see Egypt! - If you're coming to Cairo, stay here. The rooms are spacious, the location is convenient, the other guests that know about this place are friendly. Overall, a great experience. Thomas, the owner/operator is an ideal host who will set you up with an itinerary that will really make your stay in Egypt awesome. I have had a great time with my stay here and hopefully when the pool is finished, I'll return.
- Prayut (8/5): Great service - Thomas is a very good and super helpful man. I'm glad that I met him there.
