- Norbert (9/5): Ein wunderbares Hotel - raus aus dem Alltagsstress! - Top Lage direkt über dem Nebelmeer. Im Tal lag der Nebel und wir konnten die Sonne geniessen. Alles sehr ansprechend eingerichtet, wir wurden herzlich willkommen geheissen, mit Begrüssungsdrink und kleinem Snack. Das Hotel ist ideal gelegen und nach wenigen Schritten ist man iim Wanderland. Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet mit allem was man für ein langes Wochenende braucht. Gerne wieder! Alles top!

- Ariane (9/5): absolut empfehlenswert - Sehr gutes Frühstück, zwar keine große Auswahl, aber die Qualität war hervorragend. Das Hotel liegt sehr abseits und ruhig, was es außergewöhnlich macht. Die Aussicht aus dem Restaurant/beim Frühstück ist atemberaubend. Das Gebäude selbst ist bisschen in die Jahre bekommen, hat aber Charme und würde ich auch garnicht geändert haben wollen. Die Zimmer und der komplette Innenbereich sind neu renoviert und erfüllen den aktuellem Standard. Der Wellness-Bereich ist ebenfalls nagelneu.

Das Zimmer im Nebengebäude war grosszügig geschnitten und verfügte über einen grossen Balkon. Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig und abgelegen – mitten in der Natur mit toller Aussicht, perfekt zum Abschalten.

- Chris (10/5): - This hotel is far from everything but on top of a hill (beautiful countryside view) in a very nice forest surrounding. Surprisingly on friday night there where many people (probably from Bern) who came to have dinner in this secluded place.The staff were very wellcoming and helpful. They let us have half board for free, as there was apparently a mistake on the voucher (on which it was written half board instead of breakfast). The normal room was simple but confortable. If you stay more than one night, you can enjoy many beautiful warks in the surrounding woods.

The hotel is renovated and our superior room was very cosy albeit small (this is not NYC or Hong Kong). The furnishings in the room are very functional and stylish. All of the staff are very friendly except for the receptionist/owner who is edgy. They can do fast iron service for a fee. Negatives: receptionist/owner, no iron availble for guests either in room nor at receptio (a first for any hotel I have ever been too, considering this is a 3 star hotel where prices are well above 200 USD not acceptable), no tea/coffee making facilities in room.

The breakfast was amazing with all the tasty European breads and pastries. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

- Todd (10/5): Happy Experience - We stayed two nights. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms are recently remodeled and are clean and fresh. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The soft sound of cowbells in distant fields adds a real Swiss feel to the location. The view of the valley below is amazing. If we are ever in the Hotel Moosegg general area we will go out of our way to stay here again!
