Guest Reviews
- Rina (8/5): Simple pleasant hotel. - Simple pleasant hotel. A warm atmosphere.
- MARIA (10/5): Que hotel - Excelente atención , muy desayuno , limpio, luminoso , camas comodas
- Hilda Maria (8/5): Conforto e sustentabilidade.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff was great and accommodating. They spoke excellent English and knew the area well.
- IC (10/5): - Great, clean property that have beautiful ocean views and friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a beautiful property and the people who run it are really nice.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Average stay-almost no WiFi first day, breakfast is decent and probably the best aspect of this hotel. It is away from the city center but walking distance to everything. Last day, staff came in without knocking
- JOSE CARLOS (10/5): - Personal muy amable. Estancia muy agradable
- Verified traveler (10/5): Incredible hotel and world-class staff - I can’t imagine a better place to stay if you visit Southern Patagonia in Chile. El Muelle is a boutique hotel near the water front in Puerto Natales. The rooms are large, modern and well appointed. The common areas and staircase are bright and inviting. But the highlight of our experience were our interactions with the hotel manager, Jairo. We were already impressed with the delicious eggs he cooked us for breakfast. But then we approached him with a major problem we were facing as one of our passports had gone missing during our stay at a very remote location at a Refugio in Patagonia where there wasn’t any phone connectivity. While we tried to make contact in various ways with the Refugio, Jairo moved heaven and earth for us that morning. Finally, he was able to get in contact with the general manager of the company that ran the Refugio, and share with him directly the details of our situation. Even though the Refugio didn’t find the passport at first, they kept at it and several hours later Jairo informed us they had found it at a partner company’s office. However, had it not been for Jairo’s efforts, we can’t imagine our situation would have been treated with the attention it needed to get resolved.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The staff were very friendly and helpful and the wifi was excellent. Unfortunately, there is no control over the shower water temperature and on our last day, the water was cold. Not great for a fairly new hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Friendly staff and modern hotel - The hotel was overall excellent and is close to the waterfront and also to many restaurants. The rooms were comfortable, clean and modern with a great shower. As the weather was a bit cold the heating was on and the rooms and reception area was warm. The staff were very friendly and helpful and helped with booking a taxi to the bus station as we had to leave early in the morning. They also were very accommodating and set up the breakfast a bit earlier as we had an early morning tour on one of the mornings.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location, easy to walk everywhere. Staff is extremely nice and helpful too. Janice was super helpful.
Breakfast is poor even though they do try. It’s the same everyday where they give you a plate of cheese and ham and you have bread biscuits cereals to choose from.
For the price they are charging and it was off peak; it’s not worth it. It’s pretty basic and is a bed and breakfast and not a boutique hotel.
The service is great nonetheless.
- Astrid (10/5): Recomendadisimo!
Si volvemos a puerto Natales, reservaríamos allí otra vez.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great hospitality, good location , enjoyed the stay. The view from the window was beautiful!
- Joanna (10/5): Perfect place to stay before/after trekking! - Wonderful place to stay before and after our Torres del Paine trek! The hotel kindly stored our luggage between our stays.
Excellent and spotlessly clean bathroom and a lovely modern bedroom which was light and airy. It was wonderful coming back to such lovely accommodation after all the trekking. They also recommended a good value and fast laundrette very nearby for after the trek, which was much needed!
Would highly recommend!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It is a basic small hotel. They don’t offer cable TV. Being so small, the breakfast buffet options are very limited. A few blocks from the city center. It is OK to walk, but I guess it’s not so funny with bad weather! Nice WiFi and nice personnel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - They treat their guest as family. They even reserved a bus ticket for us, the hotel staff is just amazing. Best hotel on Natales. Food was great too.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great for a short stay - Basic hotel, but clean and tidy. Very friendly staff who fixed a breakfast bag for us because we had to check out before regular breakfast hours.
God frokost. Anbefales!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very close to everything and a beautiful, simple place.
- YW (10/5): - Very roomy and clean, comfortable bedding. Staff very helpful, even arranged private 3 day tours to the Torre de Paine National Park for us. Highly recommended.
- Tracy (10/5): - This is a wonderful small, boutique hotel. The location is perfect. The rooms are spacious. We had a room with the view of the water which was lovely. The bed and pillows were comfy. The shower was really outstanding. The breakfast was good. Annie, the manager was above and beyond helpful to us. She knows the ins and outs of how things work around town from rental cars (if you are driving into the park) to the best restaurants in town to tours/ activities you might want to do. She can guide you on anything you need. We had to modify our planned activities a little due to weather and she turned into an advisor for us on that. The hotel is definitely a wonderful place but as we all know, it always comes down to the people and El Muelle is lucky to have Annie managing the hotel. Also, they helped pre-arrange a car service from/to the bus station to help make our travel plans a little easier if you also need that service.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Awesomely helpful staff and great location however noise does carry a bit throughout building and wifi was really only usable in the lobby and sometimes the hallway outside the bedroom.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved this little gem in the heart of puerto natales! The staff was amazing, especially anette was so welcoming and had so many tips and recommendations for us. Could not thanks her enough. The bed was super comfy and the rain shower was a plus after so many days on the road. Loved it!
- George (8/5): Solid little boutique hotel! - Nice little boutique hotel in Puerta Natales. Spent several nights here before and after doing the W Trek in Torres Del Paine. Really lovely and helpful staff who made me feel very welcome and were most helpful in the run up to the W.
Breakfast buffet is good. Cereal, yogurts, meats, bread, cakes, fruit and nuts. Scrambled eggs on request also. Good tea selection and coffee in a thermos.
Room was clean and well laid out. A room on the first floor gives you a view of the mountains and lake but there are also other buildings in view. Bathroom was clean with good toiletries and a solid shower.
Really enjoyed my stay!
- Hui-Hsien (10/5): Quiet, Little and Comfortable Hotel - A short walk from the middle of town. This little quiet hotel is amazing. Right by the water with great views. The staff are amazing, friendly and extremely helply from helping you book taxis, tours and provided great recommendation for amazing restaurant s around the area if you are a foodie.
There are no TVs in the room, however it was kinda great as it really help you relax and get a good night sleep before or after the W Track.
Would definitely stay here again if we return to Pueto Natalies
- Verified traveler (10/5):
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Nice hotel but too expensive. There are better hotels in Puerto Natales for less money
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great hotel. Excellent staff and service. Looked after our luggage whilst we were in the park. Very comfortable beds!
- Woraphan (10/5): Lovely & clean hotel - The hotel's lovely decorated, clean and with comfortable bed.
- Steve (10/5): Three year old hotel with bright rooms near pier. - Welcoming staff quickly checked me in to an immaculate room with a view of the bay. The next day I was able to store my luggage while going out exploring.
- Boris (10/5): Romantic - Love it! Great escape! Good service, perfect location with view to the channel,
- dylan (8/5): Nice hotel with great service - Great location, you can watch the sunset from your room. Modern furnishings in the room, with a large and comfortable bed. Some wear and tear in my room but it was the end of high season. The standout was the staff, they are really accommodating and helpful, they will ensure your stay is an enjoyable one. Would recommend this hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Modern, clean, comfortable. Awesome shower! - Lovely breakfast and enjoyable stay. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful, clean hotel near the water - Highly recommend this hotel if you are in Puerto Natales. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Delicious breakfast. We were able to leave our bag while we were on the W Trek for free. Very charming space. Close to everything.
- Dorothea (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel near water! - 2nd stay in P. Natales...this place is only a year old so is modern . Receptionist is lovely. This is near the water and several restaurants. No TV but Wifi is excellent. Beds comfy, breakfast good.would come back!
- Brenda (8/5): Beautiful views from a pretty hotel - Our room had a beautiful view of the lake from the window. The room was clean, modern and spacious. We appreciated the refrigerator in the room. The staff was helpful and kept our big bags while we hiked in Torres del Paine.
- Brenda (8/5): Modern hotel with a beautiful view - The hotel isn't really pretty with a great view of the lake. They kept our bags while we trekked in Torres del Peine whichever we really appreciated.
- Valery (10/5): Nice, simple, and pleasant hotel - A very nice hotel for the price (but only if the second floor, then you have a view). Recent rooms with exposed wood, simple and pleasant. A nice breakfast. We stayed at Costraustralis next door which was much more expensive, but we liked this place better.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Happy with the stay. Would stay here again.
- John (10/5): Excellent. Cosy, minimalist, friendly and classy - Great boutique hotel in Puerto Natales. The place is still relatively new so it has that feel of being fresh and welcoming. We had a stunning view overlooking the lake and adjoining mountain range. The room was small but spacious enough. Excellent heating, shower, water pressure. Very comfortable bed and pillow. A fantastic breakfast full - a small selection but very well done with high quality produce. Finally staff were very welcoming and friendly. I dont have a bad word to say about this and fully recommend to others.
- jennifer (10/5): Fabulous hotel -- clean, modern, perfect !! - We stayed at El Muelle for 2 nights earlier this week during our vacation to Torres Del Paine national park. This hotel was FABULOUS. Its a very clean and simple yet very stylish designed botique hotel. The room was fantastic, especially the bathroom. Wonderful walk-in shower. Also, the lounge area was fantastic for spreading out and relaxing. The best part -- the hotel SERVICE !! The front desk manager was very polite and responsive. The free breakfast normally doesn't start until 6:30am, and we had to leave by 6:15am on our last day. So, the frontdesk manager accommodated us by making sure the breakfast was laid out 30 minutes early so we could enjoy it on our last day. Overall, we could not be any happier. Highly recommend !
- Rafael (8/5): Nordic like, clean and new - My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Nothing flashy about the place but a very new and fresh feel. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff very helpful. Would defintely go back.
- Catherine (10/5): Perfect stay - Absolutely perfect place to rest after doing the W trek in Torres Del Paine. This hotel was beautiful, with real floorboards, great lighting, everything was new, clean and bright, with a nautical theme and rustic touches. The shower was AMAZING, absolute luxury. The service was so pleasant and professional. And breakfast was some of the best we've had in the region. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
