Guest Reviews
- Ismael Alvarez (10/5): - It’s always a pleasure staying at this property.
- Daniel (8/5): - Very convenient hotel!
- Christina (2/5): - There needs to be clear communication and guidance if you arrive on an international flight and need to stay at the hotel on how to get access to the hotel. I was routed through customs and out to arrival only to find out that the hotel was inside the terminal. I could not access my room, had to pay the full price and had to find another hotel late at night.
- Xian (2/5): - Hotel is located within the restricted terminals, so unable to access to it. Frustrated, I had to book another hotel close to the airport. Unable to cancel it. Wasting mymoney. Terrible experience !
- Gabriel (10/5): - Friendly atmosphere.
- Floyd (10/5): - Very convenient
- Tatsiana (10/5): - Very convenient place to sleep during the layover. Everything was perfect@
- Magna (10/5): - Very nice, clean and convenient airport’s hotel.
- Geoffrey (10/5): - Great property within GRU transit area that is convenient for a short rest. There is quite a walk if your flight departs from Terminal 2 gate area because gate assignments are not known until a fews hours prior to departure
- klaus (10/5): - Para pasar una noche a la espera del vuelo es genial. No hay bulla. Uno duerme tranquilo. Mi cuarto no tuvo ventana pero está bien acondicionado.
- JUAN (10/5): - Best way to spend 8-10 hours layover at night. Waking up and heading straight to the gate is fantastic
- ANNETTE LUCY (6/5): - Basic and clean hotel. Decoration lacking
- Justin (10/5): - Nice place
- MARCIO (10/5): Praticidade - Muito pratico e confortável
- Henry (10/5): - Perfect option for an international overnight transfer, so much easier than leaving the airport, could get up an hour before my flight left. Take heed of all the warning that you must have boarding pass and no bags to pick up
- fernando (10/5): - It is an excellent option for transit hotel at terminal 3
- Rodney (10/5): - Great place! I think the directions to get there should be more clear and also need more signage at the airport. Airport staff isn’t aware of the location!
- Lyla (10/5): - I think more airports need to have hotels like these for long overnight layovers.
- Jeff (10/5): - very enjoyable stay
- Abraham (4/5): - Be Warn. I booked the hotel thinking it was a good choice but no. The Hotel is in the Departure area of airport but if you can't go there, you'll miss your check-in date. I couldn't go to departures cause I needed a barding pass to get through security but the airline wouldn't give it to me. So, I missed my check-in date and had to get a Hotel outside the airport. And after repited fail attempts to contact the property, I don't know if they are going to charge me for the booking.
- Javier (8/5): Convenient - Very practical as it is inside the terminal. The same room and service would cost a third outside the airport.
- Paula (10/5): - Eu vi alguns reviews negativos e sinceramente nao sei pq as pessoas reclamam tanto.
- JUAN (10/5): - Incredible access within the terminal
- William (10/5): - This hotel is in the airport and right near the gate I needed to go to in the morning! Staff was amazing front desk breakfast and bar housekeeping as well the rooms were spotless! Only reason I didn’t give facilities 5 is the shower didn’t drain well and the air seemed not so fresh in the hotel but other than it’s perfect
- Lisa (2/5): - I was told I had to leave and pick up my luggage and then could not even get to the hotel for the 8 hours I wanted to sleep there. There was no one answering phone and I had to buy other accommodations. They refused to refund. WORST EXPEDIA EXPERIENCE EVER. Avoid.
- Ton (10/5): Excelente - Excelentes instalações.
Bom atendimento.
Café da manhã bem-servido.
O checkin à noite pode ficar concorrido por conta do hotel ter parceria com operadoras de Lounges.
- Petek (8/5): - Hotel location is very convenient for international travelers.
Air system needs upgrade, way too noisy. But clean and comfortable.
- Emory (2/5): - The hotel is located inside of the terminal, which is very inconvenient. We had to go through customs with our bags just to enter the hotel area. The next morning, we had to go back through customs with our bags and check them in at the terminal. It was an awful awful experience..
- Steve (10/5): - My stay was very helpful. I did have difficulty finding it. I think signage could be improved.
- Geoffrey (10/5): - Very conveniently located inside Terminal 3
Great restaurant option. Clean rooms.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good - We booked this hotel to make our 12hs stopover at GRU airport more comfortable, and the hotel did its job. Quiet room (though windowless), complimentary breakfast, and a small garden to breath an outside air. The amenities are quit basic and quite expensive for the hotel's grade, but still I'd chose this one again than having to move to a better hotel in Guarulhos city.
- Homero (10/5): - Very good place.
- Hortensia (2/5): Horrible Experience - Imposible to find the Hotel. You have to check in first and that doesn’t leave you with time to:
1.- find the hotel because signs don’t work
2.- you only get nearly 3 hours before boarding
- Wilson (2/5): - Address of the hotel was confusing. Either it was within Terminal 3 or it wasn't. We were given an address outside the airport but we never got there. Also, we were told that a shuttle bus was part of the package. We waited for that bus for 30 minutes and it never showed up.
- Valery (10/5): Highly recommended - Having stayed at this hotel several times, I can highly recommend it. This time we had a 12 hour layover and we felt totally refreshed after a shower and a good sleep. Also includes a good breakfast if you are there during these hours.
- Zoe (10/5): - Conventient, within the airport, gave us a hot shower with good sleep
- Suzy (8/5): - It was a perfect place to get sleep before our 3am flight
- Johnathon (8/5): - It’s the most convenient option you have for staying at/near the hotel. Only real complaint was that most of the hallways smell like nasty cigarette smoke because they let the smokers take over the interior garden area and they leave the door to that garden open a lot.
- Emilio (8/5): - Good hotel, but the hotel could has gym
- flavio tagliassachi (10/5): - Excelente opção para quem vai realizar conexão internacional no aeroporto de Guarulhos.
Quarto bastante silencioso.
Café da manhã satisfatório.
- Denise (2/5): - I have not checked on this property because it's after checking in not before.
- Juan-Ettienne (8/5): Layover in São Paulo - Had a 9 hour layover in São Paulo. Was a a good option to rest and relax away from the busy airport while still being inside the building close to my departure gate. Well positioned hotel with everything you need for a layover.
- Adnan (10/5): - We are big fans of transit hotels for late night departures as we have a toddler, not to mention being able to freshen up after a long day. This hotel met all expectations and we went from bed to gate just 30 minutes before our scheduled departure. Good, clean rooms, friendly staff and good food. The convenience is priceless.
- Matthew (10/5): - Very quiet and very restful. Ideal for long layovers.
- Luciane (10/5): - I had a 20 hour layover in Guarulhos. Tryp Hotel was such a blessing to help me enjoy that unexpected idle time.
- Denis (10/5): - Na
- Denis (10/5): - Great staff
- Emily (6/5): - This stay never ended up happening… I may have missed some fine print but it was not clear to me anyway that this hotel is only for those making international connections as you can’t access it from just any terminal. We were coming in from an international destination but our connection was for another spot in Brazil. Just as an FYI. I am sure the hotel is lovely but we were fortunate to find a last minute reservation at the Fast Sleep hotel which is available for domestic connections.
- Pierre (10/5): - Clean
- Fantasha (10/5): - Very friendly and accommodating reception staff. Room was clean and sufficient but the TV is broken (screen has 4 bright dots and the rest of the screen is dim and dark). Other than that, I’d recommend this property if you have a long international layover.
- Veronique (10/5): - The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
The property is perfect for an overnight stay in between flights.
The breakfast is very good.
- Fabio (10/5): - Very clean, comfortable room, has a great restaurant (staffs are amazing) and super close to the gates on terminal 3 GRU
- Jannine (10/5): - It was a great location to stay overnight for my 12 hours layover. It was comfortable and staff was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious.
- Caron (10/5): - Very clean, safe, and easy
- Daniel (10/5): - slept like a rose
- Marinda (8/5): - The absolutely friendliness of the staff are beyong words. Thank you for a pleasant 20hour transit at the airport!
- Fidel (10/5): - Frendly staff
- Glenn (8/5): - Very convenient for connections
- Marco (6/5): - There were problems passing through security point, even though a valid boarding pass was presented. Is just difficult to get to the hotel, even with the proper required documentation.
- Terrence (10/5): - Perfect for sleeping during a long layover between flights.
Rooms very clean & modern. Excellent bath room. Individual room thermostat for heat/AC. Great WiFi, excellent TV, plenty of electric sockets & nice chair & desk. Structure is sprinklered with fire extinguishers all over the place. Airport duty free shops & pub food within building only 100 yards away.
If it matters, no closet. Only one of those pants/shirt trees. But for a layover sleep, does it matter? Also, it's obvious that you're in a box inside a building. But again, does it matter?
- Olga (10/5): - Great staff, good asommodation
- Kelly (10/5): - The hotel was great. Very clean.
- Elias (10/5): Excelente - Muy bien
- GABRIEL (8/5): - Convenient and confortable location for overnight prior an early morning flight
- Andrea (4/5): - Tuve la sensacion de que estaba molestando al personal del checkin.
Es lo mismo que dormir en una caja de zapatos. Habitacion muy chica.
Restaurante cerrado. No pude comer.
Por el precio esperaba MUCHO mas.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Awful experience!! - I made reservation at this hotel to stay for the night while waiting for my international fly. I come to sao paolo from Brasilia. Flying from sao Paolo to Dominican Republic. I could not stay at hotel as they required for me to be checked in for my international. Checkin was not going to happen until next day hours before my fly. So hotel did not allow me to stay. I lost my money and had to spend the night sleeping on a bench at airport which was really scary as anybody could come in tonarea where was sleeping. Felt unsafe!!
- Gerardo (10/5): - Excellent hotel
- Jose (10/5): - Room very clean. Breakfast very good
- Liana (10/5): - Excelente stay
- Baptiste (2/5): - This hotel is not accessible for no international transit people! When you find out they don't reply like that they don't have to get you money back! very bad customer support.
- Mary (8/5): - Ideal for short term stop inside the terminal.
- Andele (6/5): - Room was tiny and had no window. Very claustrophobic.
- Florencia (10/5): - Stuff is super kind and welcoming. Always keen to fix any issue.
- David (6/5): - The hotel is fine but you can not enter without a boarding pass and the airlines will not issue a boarding pass for the next day. You can not check into the hotel the night before you fly!!! This hotel is only for passengers in transit!!!
- Mohamed Hassan Ibrahim (8/5): - The staff are friendly and helpful.
The room was clean but a bit small.
They didn’t have Apple Pay as a method of payment and not all credit cards (issued abroad depending on the country) works in Brazil.
Check-in lento. A unidade é limpa. Não recomendo o hotel de forma alguma.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great easy stay
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Could not access it
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I didn't have a boarding pass, but they let me check-in anyway. Also, they let me stay until my afternoon flight departed, so there was really no set check-out time, not for me, anyway.
- Wagner (10/5): Nice place for layover - Nice place to layover while you wait for you next flight.
You can check in anytime at the day of your booking.
Breakfast (complimentary) and Lunch (R$100) in "a la carte" - 3 course style with startes, main and drinks.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent service. On top of the cleanliness in all areas
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Perfect location for transit travelers, you don’t need to leave transit zone to stay in the hotel. Desk price starts from $236 for 12 hours vs. $100 for a night if you book on Expedia. Service is very basic (i.e. you can’t borrow electric adapter on reception, only buy it for $14). Keep in mind the majority of the rooms have no windows, if is critical - mention this when checking in. We were offered a room with 2 beds (single queen size) for the standard price as we were traveling with 2 children - big tanks for that. No water, coffee or minibar is available in the room however, there are a number of cafes and restaurants you can visit in the airport.
- Rodolfo (8/5): Great for long international connections - Very simple hotel, but room size and comfort are appropriate for an in-terminal rest. Lack of a more robust room service is a problem for me, who instead of just checking in and staying in my room I had to go back out to the terminal for a meal. Also, all restaurants in GRU are operating normally, even during these COVID times. Why isn’t the Hotel bar and restaurant?
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This Hotel do not specify need on be at transit/connection area at airport. If you arrive in a regional flight and have to wait for a international Flight more than 6 hours this hotel is useless because one can not access the area where hotel os located.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I was traveling with a toddler and a baby and the hotel staff have been more than helpful. Staying at the hotel worths it even for a couple of hours, specially flying with kids.
- Pablo (10/5): - Great staff, felt very welcome
Lack of warm blanquets in room
- WBolognesi (10/5): - Excellent place to relax and recharge before a long trip, awesome breakfast !
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Horrible communication between front desk and guests. There’s no phones in the rooms and they never answer the phone number they provided for communication. I found lots of dirty things in the bedroom including a cup left to drink coffee. I have pictures of everything. It made me wonder if the sheets me and kids were laying down to rest were actually clean. Very disappointing.
- Patrick (8/5): Light at the end of the tunnel - After a 13hr flight a clean room, comfy bed and good shower are priceless. Its a little bit of a nightmare to get to but worth the effort. Male sure your luggage has been cheked through and have boarding pass for next flight ready.
- Federico (10/5): Amazing stay - Very good i will come back
- Rassie (8/5): - Convenient location being inside airport, great for in transit passengers
- Marylin (2/5): - The AC wasn’t working. We called and asked for help and nobody showed up. Very disappointed!
- Louis (4/5): - They were located on the outbound international side of the airport which if you were coming in from an international you could not go into the hotel in the airport after you reach through customs and get your luggage. The people would
not allow you to go go back into the international side to stay at the hotel which was not disclosed on their webs
There was about four of us that we’re staying at the hotel this all happen to
- RudyCabrera (2/5): - I was not allowed to check in and had to go to the Pullman a mile away
luckily there was a room or I would have been at the airport 18 hours
- Tania (8/5): - I wish they had room service
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I didn’t even get to check to this place. No one answered the phone and it is very hard to find with the lack of directions on their website
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Inside the airport. Cannot easily go in. Be prepared to scrutinize!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - We booked this hotel, located inside the security zone of the Guarulhos airport, to allow us to get up and go directly to our departure gate. If that had worked, I would give it a good rating. We arrived at 8 pm to check in for our flight and found that Latam won't take your checked baggage until three hours before flight time. We ended up taking our checked baggage through security (losing a number of items to security). In the morning, we were up early to depart the airport (which led to questions at security) and proceeded back to check in, any time advantage being lost. We dropped our bags and proceeded through security. Checking in twice with the same boarding pass turned out to be a security issue. After two hours, we were back to the hotel in time for breakfast. I would have thought that an arrangement between the hotel and airlines would have existed.
- Ronaldo (8/5): - The location after the gate area is a limiting factor for when you are staying in the city for a day and would require an early check-in, but it is very convenient for early flights, considering the chaotic traffic of Sao Paulo and the volume of travelers passing by security. It will be definitely my choice for my next trips if I do the same schedule of early Saturdays back into the US.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I DID NOT GET INTO TJE PROPERTY!!! Nowhere did you inform me that it requires check-in to your flight before you can access the hotel!!!! Avianca Airlines WOULD NOT check me in until 4 hours prior to departure!!!
Such, you figure out the rest!!! It’s a shame!
