Julius (10/5): LOVE IT! - By far one of the best places we’ve stayed at in Lake Tahoe! What made it even more convenient was the fact that we had a stovetop so we saved so much money on going out to eat! Staff was very friendly and so was the front desk manager! I would definitely recommend staying here again!!!

Location is very ideal with short drive to South Lake Tahoe sites and restaurants. Very helpful to have a small kitchenette. Unit is modestly renovated. Bathroom and shower is very small and tight and need some updating.

Public beach close by - would be nice to get the swimming pool fixed though... I know, it's costly, but for some of us "Oldies" Lake Tahoe is a bit chilly. But no complaints, many thanks!

Vincent d (6/5): - It was okay. It was cheap, and I got what I paid for. The lone staff member whom should have been at the front desk for my check in was at wal mart. He left his number taped to the desk and was able to provide the code for room entry at least when I called him. That’s a first for me. Also the front desk office area wreaked of pot. Not a big deal to me, but frankly extremely unprofessional. Just smoke a bowl out back buddy. The AC was too small and had trouble cooling the room, the room was clean though, and aside from that it was fine. It was a $250 room, but on a very busy weekend, and it was the cheapest thing around. It was worth no more than $100 on a typical weekend though.
Lynda (2/5): - Bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Walls were paper thin so you could hear every conversation and action next door. No AC. Bare minimum furnishings. No side tables in the bedroom. No screen on the bathroom window looked out onto an alley. Stick on decorative frostings on the windows that weren’t fully stuck. No shades. Shower door was from 1956. The pool was filled with mud. Not a great experience at all and certainly not worth the money. The coffee was good at least.

Fermin (2/5): - Absolutely horrible experience. We stayed here with our kids, and the room had rats running around all night. It kept everyone up and raised serious concerns about our health and safety. To make matters worse, there was no management on site, and we were unable to speak with a manager over the phone despite multiple attempts. The staff on-site seemed unprepared and offered no real help. When we finally reached someone later, they refused to refund us or take responsibility. There is no excuse for rodents in a guest room, especially when children are involved. Not only was it disgusting and stressful, but the lack of basic customer care made everything worse. If you value your health, sleep, and peace of mind, avoid this place at all costs. This was by far the most unprofessional and unsanitary lodging experience we’ve ever had.
Billie (2/5): - It was extremely overpriced. The kitchen cabinets had most of the hardware missing off of them. There was a hole in the wall in the kitchen where you could see outside the large sliding window the lock was missing so anyone could come in at any time. It was so small that you barely had room to walk past the bed to get into the bathroom. There was no lights that worked the breaker tripped so we woke up to no coffee machine in the refrigerator had went off. It had a nice pool, but there was no water in it. The property outside was very pretty had large trees in a nice sitting area in the staff was nice but again this is $100 a night hotel that I was charged 250 a night for.

Celine (6/5): - Room is small and smell. Not as the pictures posted. The posted pictures look clean and nice. But in the reality it’s not. The environment around the room is good and relax, but very dirty for the table and chair outside. Maybe there is a bear at night time, that’s why the lady in the office told us not to put food in the car, bear will break the car windows. I saw food prints in my car in the next morning. Don’t know is it bear’s food print or not. It looks big like a man food print. Price is high. Not really like it. Will not stay the second time.
Glenda (2/5): - No hot water. They have a sign in the bathroom to run the water for three minutes so the hot water kicks in. Well it never did. Impersonal customer service. They have a sign to call the numbers listed. As I was checking out & make them aware about the lack of hot water, they told me I didn’t need to do anything, they’ll take care of charging my card. When I mentioned I wanted to speak to someone since I didn’t get to shower, a lady came to the front area. She said she would speak to the manager about any credit. When I asked her what card she had on file, she told me her computer system was down & couldn't pull up my information. Walls are thin in the room, you can hear other people’s conversations & their alarm clock in the morning. In the end, I only received a small credit & still ended up paying $200 for a room with no hot water. Unfortunate experience.
Kevin (1/5): Not worth the cost, there are so many other options. I would recommend any other place - I like how they charged me still the full price 500$ for a 2 night stay after they told me that they canceled my reservation There was no communication from them and they acted deceitful
Christine (2/5): Uncomfortable, would not recommend. - Clean rooms. It’s just not a good sign when you pull in and see the pool is drained. It’s a sign of other things. The lock on our door kept saying low battery. We notified the staff but they didn’t fix it while we were there. Outside furniture is in disrepair full of cobweb and dirty. Room was clean but very uncomfortable overall. No working heater so it was freezing , no extra blankets. Walks are thin so you hear Everything your neighbors are saying and doing at all hours of the night. The bathrooms are tiny and it took awhile to figure out the shower faucet. It seemed to be either cold or very hot. The pictures of the facility are deceiving.

Empty flower pots, Front lobby was closed with a sign to text to check in. Outdoor furniture needs updating. The place has excellent bones and a great location it's just not taken care of. It was clean which is appreciated. The location is great. Burger place next door is yummy. Hopefully the owners can take some pride and put a little upkeep in a place that could be great.

Oscar (2/5): - Well first it was late at night had to call a number to get checked in after unloading all my cargo from my motorcycle which took some time to do. I arrive around 12-130ish or so. I get its late but man after a 6 hour motorcycle ride in the blistering heat wanted to take a shower yeah nope couldnt do that because there wasnt any hot water avaliable at the time. So fell asleep all nasty uncomfortable bed wasnt the best. The service was horrible nobody insight to take care of this matter. Only reason they are in a scale is because of the lady cleaning the rooms felt so bad. Be also recommended places she apologized heavily. Either way worse experience ever. But i was told i was going to be taken care of by hotels for this horrible experience. Thanks hotels.com

Called hotel about 4 times, finally got a hold of someone and they said wrong room so they were gonna text us new room. After 10 minutes of waiting for new room number, never got a text so we called back. They sent our new room number to a different number, told them to send to the one we’re calling off of. Finally got a text with new room number. After 30 mins of being in our room, someone tried opening our door because they also received wrong room number. Felt so unsafe, will never come back. Also had dirty & wet towels in bathroom?

Never got hot water luckily my daughter was staying next door and used her shower. Did not even offer anyone to look at it, or switch us rooms or anything of reimbursement. Then my daughters bed had a insect in it and her boyfriend got bit. I have proof. Will never stay there again. Our room number was 112 not hot water the whole stay. Room 111 had the bug in the bed.

Corvello (10/5): Pleasurable stay. - Checking in is a little bit quirky, but not a problem. Got checked in real quick. Room was very clean and comfortable. Any negative posts before must of just had a bad day. The property is quiet, plenty of parking, and the staff was friendly. There are dining options close by and a 7-Eleven just up the street. This is our new go to place when we come to Tahoe. The room met all the basic needs with a bed, tv, bathroom, microwave, refrigerator. Takes a bit for the hot water to get going, but that is nothing big. Really enjoyed the stay.
Lisa (6/5): Pleasant - Location, the layout of the room - kitchenette , dog friendly , clean and comfy beds So sad that the owner doesn't want to do the small details that make the stay so tons better . It was a freezing cold In the room when we arrived late evening at 30 ° F . No hooks for the towels . Noticed that the other room had a little table and chairs in the kitchen. Our kitchenette didn't have a table and 2 chairs. And there was a big hole in the wall , was probably supposed to be the kitchen fan . The location is amazing walking distance to 2 great restaurants. I love it when a hotel room has the kitchenette. But it was so poor that could have bern easy fixed by some paint and an efficient area for the stove and microwave . Also, it was missing 4 of each thing. A Plus for the coffeemaker
Ian (1/5): Worst experience ever. Do not come here - Nothing Nobody there to let you in. Didn’t have access to my room until 5 hours after the agreed time. They said the room wasn’t ready. Room was dirty, sheets and pillows were dirty. Mattress was so dirty I didn’t sleep on it. Owner is rude and a liar. Owner asked me to light a pilot light for another guest (seriously). Heating wasn’t working in our room.

Maryhmelle (3/5): Poor - Heater barely worked so my family was cold. The electricity went out twice while trying to use the portable heater that the lady provided so we had to stop using it. Either freeze or have no electricity, those were the options. Had the place booked for 3 nights but decided to leave after the first night to find somewhere else to stay.

Kenney (1/5): It was horrible. The kitchen sponge should have been thrown out months ago. There was no washcloths. Only 1 spoon and th - I liked that there was a grassy area to play ball with my dog. The room and the outside was dirty, rundown and broken. The outdoor chairs dirty stained pads and dirty and broken chair frames with splinters in the wood. The outdoors smelled of dog feces. The pool had brown sludge looking water in it.

They didn’t change linens, the bulbs are not working, the electric fan was too noisy to use, if you are tall and big you won’t fit it the shower. Terrible terrible place!!!!
Jennifer (8/5): Family Cabin - We really liked the family cabin. It had it's own entrance which was nice. You could tell it was an old building but had a modern day vibe. There's a burger place right next door in case you get hungry.
Verified traveler (4/5): Not worth the stay - Smelled like there was a gas leak. Stove did not work. Heater did not work. Missing corbon monoxide detecter. Kitchen and bathroom windows did not have screens. There was missing floor boards. Floor was dirty. Shower floor had loose grout. Door code took a few tries to work and door nob felt very loose. Walls were different colors, did not look estheticly pleasing. When we went to take our dogs out we spotted a bear in the parking lot. We were unaware of this danger. Very outdated facility. Not worth the price we paid.

Andrea (2/5): Not worth it - I didn’t expect much going into it as I knew it was a lower rate, but it was probably the worst room we have stayed in. Our non-smoking room smelt so heavily of smoke and some sort of fragrance spray they had tried to use to cover the smell. All of our allergies were out of control the entire weekend when we were in the room because of that so we were miserable. There were spiders in every corner of the room, including the shower. The shower needed a good scrubbing as you could see mildew build up on corners, no ac in the room and all the screens were either broken or there weren’t one. No counter spaces. Luckily we had no plans to use the pool as it was empty with only about a foot of black water left in it. During check in no one was there and was advised to lift the tissue box and to grab a certain card # but all the other cards also under the tissue box displayed room #s and the codes to enter those rooms so not the most safe way to go about. Would not recommend to anyone.
Melissa (2/5): Disappointed - The room was super small, no ac, but the moment I touched the bed I knew we weren’t staying here. We spent less than 15 minutes there. We didn’t even take our things out of the car. I knew if we’d stay we wouldn’t sleep. It was for my birthday weekend and I didn’t care about the lose of money. As you can see we booked a different hotel the same day. The second hotel was way better.
