• Juan (10/5): Magic - Peaceful and a breath of positive energy. Don’t have a pool but that’s temporary since Andrea is building one.
• Manuela (8/5): Beautiful property and great location, with helpful hosts, but some rooms need attention regarding moisture and mold. - The B&B has a great location in Las Galeras, and the entire property is beautifully designed and decorated with attention to detail. The rooms were overall stylish and comfortable. We also appreciated that breakfast could easily be ordered in the morning and was nicely presented. However, upon arrival there was some confusion regarding our reservation, as we had booked two rooms but apparently only one was initially available. An alternative room was offered to us right away. In the first downstairs room we were shown, there was visible mold, so we did not feel comfortable staying there. After we mentioned this, the host showed us other options. The room on the upper floor was free of mold and much more comfortable. The French double beds are rather small and quite narrow for two adults. This is something future guests may want to keep in mind when booking. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and the host reacted well to the situation, although the moisture or mold issue in some rooms should be checked.

De plus si l’on paye par carte nous devons rajouter 10% de frais total à la note ce qui n’est ni précisé sur l’annonce ni a l’entrée dans le logement.

• lisa (9/5): - Bra och mysigt boende som ligger i fantastisk miljö. Vill du ha lugn och ro så är det helt rätt ställe. Vi behövde ta ut pengar för att betala kontakt på plats, vilket var omsmidigt och på grund av uttagsavgifter blev det dyrare än priset visar på booking.
• Jennifer (8/5): Sehr gut gepflegte und ausgestattete Oase - Freundlicher Empfang und Betreuung durch den Gastgeber. Sehr gepflegte und saubere Anlage sowie gut ausgestattetes Zimmer. Zum sehr schönen Strand sind es nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß. Parken direkt vor dem Grundstück möglich. Frühstück und Getränke aus der Bar gegen Aufpreis möglich. Die große und gut ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche darf mitbenutzt werden. Insgesamt eine unserer besten Unterkünfte auf der Insel und sehr zu empfehlen. Leider haben wir die Dusche morgens nicht so warm bekommen, wie wir uns das gewünscht hätten.

El hotel es bonito, en un entorno rodeado de verde, con la playa del aserradero a 5 minutos andando. La habitacion comoda y luminosa. El agua caliente se cortaba rapidamente pero andrea nos dijo que lo revisaría para arreglarlo

La ubicación estaba a 3 minutos de unas de las mejores playas para mí. Los desayunos son estupendos y deliciosos. El sitio tiene un encanto espectacular, estás en plena naturaleza. Si vuelvo a las galeras me alojaré de nuevo en este alojamiento. Te hacen sentir en casa. Recomendaré este lugar a todo el mundo. Me gusto todo.

• Andrea Lain (9/5): - Il gestore è accogliente e disponibile (ci ha anche aiutato a prenotare per una cena particolare in una struttura unica, chiedere a lui di El Cabito), la struttura è una piccola coccola. Noi abbiamo passato solo una notte e ci siamo accontentati di una camera piccola (che per una notte va benissinmo) ma dispone anche di spazi diversi. Le aree comuni sono davvero accoglienti. Proprio per trovare il pelo nell'uovo: la camera era spartana ma per una notte a quel prezzo non si può davvero chiedere di più.

Nos puso en contacto con un chico para hacer la excursión a playa frontón y playa madama con un precio muy bueno. Está muy cerca de playa aserradero, un entorno muy acogedor y con mucha naturaleza perfecto para desconectar. El último día, el agua de la ducha no salía con presión ni caliente. La cama un poco incómoda. Se necesita coche para llegar allí.

• Danièle (5/5): ich und mein Partner werden definitiv dort nicht mehr übernachten - Der Garten ist sehr schön und die Möblierung auch. es war definitiv nicht am Strand, sondern sondern einige 100 m entfernt. die Bar war schlecht bestückt und hatte nicht einmal genügend Bier. Der Service war sehr langsam, aber freundlich. Das Brot mussten sie zuerst noch einkaufen. restaurant existiert nicht, auch in der Umgebung nicht. Habe nur durch Zufall in einer versteckten Ecke ein Lokal entdeckt. die Treppe zum ersten Stock war teilweise nicht stabil genug.
• Jeannette (9/5): - Sehr ruhig gelegen und ganz nah zum wunderbaren sandstrand. Andrea, der Besitzer war sehr nett und hilfsbereit mit Tipps und Tour buchen. Wir haben sogar eine Nacht verlängert. Die erste Nacht in der kleineren Einheit war etwas eng. Wir konnten danach easy wechseln.

Il centro di Las Galeras per andare a cenare si trova a 5 min in macchina Camera pulita ed ordinata. Consiglio vivamente di soggiornarci. Niente, solo qualche dettaglio.
• Konrad (10/5): - Lokalizacja - spokojna, cicha, bardzo blisko piekna piaszczysta plaża (kilka minut spacerem). Można sie zreleksaować i odpocząć. Pokoje czyste i przyjemne, jak zresztą cały obiekt. Wszystko bardzo ładnie utrzymane (apartamenty, ogród). Na miejscu jest również bar :)

Las camas y almohadas muy incómodas, parecían hechas con retales, el jacuzzi vacío… en fin, no entiendo la puntuación que tenía en Booking.

Le personnel local pourrait être plus souriant et moins bruyant (notamment au téléphone qui est utilisé un peu trop). Le prix du petit déjeuner est élevé.

El apartamento está muy limpio y es amplio, con tu terracita privada. La cama es muy incómoda, muy blanda. El agua de la ducha apenas dura caliente. Para ir al supermercado tienes que coger coche.

• Dorota (8/5): Very good - - peaceful and quiet place in a beautiful area, next to the beach - nice host who did everything we asked for - good breakfast (DOP 450) - huge and delicious cocktails - free drinking water (when the bar’s open) - good AC - mould on the bathroom wall, kitchen ceiling, hammock, and sunbeds; the jacuzzi didn’t look clean either - sticky and stinky kitchen cupboard - poor to no cleaning; the place’s declared frequency of towels and bedding change wasn’t respected either - spotty wi-fi
• Arthur (4/5): Great location, cheap owner, felt deceived by what we got - The pool table is very nice, the coffee is really good, access to a kitchen is great, and the staff was super kind, but the cheapness of the owner made us feel deceived Know what you’re getting into. Owner is cheap and it shows. WiFi didn’t work in our room, jacuzzi does not heat up, bed was tiny. Very different than we expected. Everything also has a cost. You want AC? 10$/day. Want to wash your clothes, 500DOP. And more seriously and suspiciously, even if you book online, you have to pay in cash. If you want to pay by card? 15% extra. Owner had promised us a cheaper rate as we were paying in cash, and online it was stated you could pay by card at no extra fee. last minute he flipped the promise on us and we had to pay full price in cash. So we had to pay for cash withdrawals fees (which aren’t small) from the only ATM in town. He also laughed at our face when he flipped his promise on us. Unprofessional and made our experience in this otherwise pretty nice place, much worst and frustrating.

• Janne (7/5): Cozy, clean and affordable - It was a very cozy place with a pretty garden. A little out of the Way from town center, about 20-30 min easy walk along the Beach. Closest Beach is nice but the pretties beaches are in the other side of the town center. They were building new rooms and it was noisy. But they started at 8-8.30 in the morning. Could have done without the noise but at least not an early start.

• Nelly (10/5): Clean and nice - The Italian Manager is very nice, rooms are clean (and this is Not Everywhere in the DR) and the best Beach is very close. Parking is outside on the street. AirCon costs 10€ extra. We recommend 21Palms. And the Espresso is Great. Grazie!
• Alessandro (9/5): Great option in our favorite area of DR! - Quiet place in a nice setting, just a few minutes walking to the beach. The room is small but cozy. The Italian owner is friendly and booked us a tour to visit Playa Fronton which I strongly recommend. You need a car to get to the town of Las Galeras. Wi-fi was not working much in the room.

A "must go" for sure and amazing stay in option. Will come back without thinking whenever opportunities arise. Hopefully we were as good guests as they were as hosts. Loved everything...nothing bad to say and will find it very difficult for someone to make a bad remark
• Iris (9/5): Superb - We really liked the quite and peaceful surroundings. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would remove one tiny little star for the accessibility without a car. We did make our way around using the route via the beach and reached the center and the bus stop within 30-40min. We convinced the guagua driver to drop us of for an additional 300 DOP. We would always come back. The bed could be a little bit broader.

• Eliane (10/5): Great place! Great host! Loved it! - The apartment was great, spacious and clean. There was this cute balcony where we had breakfast. The hot tub was a nice feature as well. We could use the kitchen to prepare quick meals and they provided drinking water. The host was a very nice Italian man, always with a smile on his face. It wasn't waterfront as advertised. We had to walk a little. The wi-fi worked very poorly in the bedroom. But I would definitely go back there. I had a great time (except for the little frogs because I'm terrified of them lol. But even still I loved it)

• Damien (6/5): A little price, no breakfast included, parking is a little dodgy. - There are beaches nearby, and the facilities are very nature-oriented, with the accommodation surrounded by greenery, trees, and fresh air. The host, an Italian guy, was really nice and helpful. When the TV didn't work, he only charged us for one breakfast instead of two, which I really appreciated. The room has AC and a kitchen, so I guess people come here to escape and cook their own meals. I found that customer service in the Dominican Republic wasn't great, and this was true at all four hotels we visited, not just this one. That's why I mentioned the Italian guy—he was friendly, chatty, and helpful, which was a nice contrast. The local staff, on the other hand, were less friendly. So, when visiting the DR, don't expect exceptionally friendly service. That was the only negative thing about my stay. Parking is not ideal, nothing the hotel can do about this due to its location.

• Ionut (10/5): Exceptional - The property was very beautiful, adorned with flowers, and located in a stunning and quiet area, just a short walking distance from one of the most beautiful beaches in Las Galeras. The hosts were very kind and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, and the cocktails were delicious. We even play to return one day! Nothing to complain about.
