The surveillance camera at the front entrance wasn’t working perfectly. There were some very rude and aggressive taxi drivers in that area or in the city, the taxi driver tried to hit me using hi car. Very bad expression of the city and the people there.

Language could be a communication problem in having your request met and satisfied. It is helpful and advisable have a phone with a translator from Chinese (Mandarin) to English and vice versa. I will most likely return back to this Holiday Inn next time I visit Jinan as long as the price has not skyrocketed and the facility is still well maintained.

- Mark (6/5): Modern hotel but far too hot and stuffy to sleep - This is a very clean hotel with a lovely large room and comfortable bed. The breakfast is decent and overall it was good value for money even though it's not very central and you have to take a taxi to go anywhere. But I'd never go back due to the temperature of the room. The hotel believes that guests like their room at 80 degrees F. Even though there's an AC control in the room you can't lower the temperature. According to management most guests like this so they won't change it. They will however provide you with a fan. If you like sleeping in a stuffy hot hotel room then it's a great choice.

Had to go across to the Sheraton for a meal 1 night. The hotel is nearer the airport reducing the congestion worries getting to the airport.
