Marko (10/5): Eine tolle Zeit - Tolle Lage. Nah zu Fuss zum Strand Los Alemanes. Bequem erreichbar mit Wassertaxi rund um die Uhr (24h/24). Die Besitzerin war sehr nett und bemüht, um sicherzustellen, dass wir einen schönen Urlaub verbringen. Wir bekamen sogar ein kostenloses Upgrade auf bessere Zimmer. Die organisierte Abholung vom Flughafen war auch ein toller Service. Gute Klimaanlage, schnelles Internet / WLAN. Ausstattung etwas rustikal, könnten etwas mehr Küchenutensilien vorhanden sein.
Nikola (10/5): - Excellent location to enjoy the beach and a good night rest. The boat ride takes 2 minutes from the main port to the Chalet which is situated in a natural setting. Two really good restaurants nearby. Thoughtful and very helpful host.

MARINA (10/5): - La propiedad esta muy cerca de la playa, en una zona de Puerto Ayora muy tranquila. Las habitaciones y el sector de estar y cocina son muy bellos y tienen todo lo necesario para una estadia perfecta. Las vistas al mar y a la naturaleza que teníamos en las habitaciones eran hermosas. Pilar estuvo muy atenta y cordial en todo momento. Sin duda volveremos!
Janine (10/5): A little slice of paradise - The property is in a fantastic quiet location, 1 minute from a beautiful swimming beach and 3 restaurants located by the sea. To reach the property you take a water taxi from the waterfront. The taxi costs $1 and leave every 5mins 24/7. I stayed in an upper level suite, which had a view of the ocean, a deck with a hammock, private bathroom, lovely breeze and very comfortable bed. There is a communal kitchen/lounge for the guests to use. The host met me when I arrived and was very helpful in suggesting things to do/see in Galapagos, restaurants/food to try etc. The property on a lovely quiet walkway and feels very safe. I’d love to stay again😊 I liked everything about the property.

Gesa (10/5): Best place ! - I really enjoyed my time at the Galapagos chalet . Pilar has been a kind and very helpful host. She even went above and beyond and showed me Tortuga Bay. The location is very safe and close to high end restaurants with excellent breakfast options as well as lunch and dinner. A water taxi connects you to the main part of Puerto Ayora. The rooms have sea view and there is even a balcony with a comfortable hammock . It is quiet and and an incredible spot for stargazing . Pilar can connect you with taxi services and day trips. I could have not asked for a better place. 😄😄😄

Heidi (10/5): Relaxing and charming place. - I loved the chalet, it is quiet and has a chill atmosphere. It is on the tip of Puerto Ayora Island and you hear and see the Ocean from the balcony. There is hot water in the shower. And there is a lovely little beach a two minute walk from the chalet where you can snorkel and se baby sharks among other wildlife. Las Grietas, which is a tourist attraction is also located on the same island. There are two nice restaurants next to the dock, where you take a watertaxi in to town. It cost only 1 dollar and it is a charming experience. Would definitely book this hotel again. Nothing!
Richard (8/5): Paradise - Helpful host / owner, great wifi, powerful shower, proximity to beach and nature. Pilar, the owner, helped us arrange transport when we arrived and departed for the airport, and shared her local knowledge with us. One very minor issue was that we needed to borrow cafetiere and mugs to make a coffee in the morning ( from the communal kitchen ) and the nearest shop is a boat ride away - it could really add to the guest experience to include tea/coffee making supplies with the room - we figured it all out after a couple of days. Great cafe 10 mins walk away just inside the Las Grietas park which you can access without needing to pay the 10 dollar entrance fee.
Camilo (10/5): Exceptional - There are no words to describe how much I loved this place. The Chalet is located in one of the most beautiful places around Puerto Ayora, where you can hear the ocean and walk to the beach. The rooms were comfortable and they always kept them clean. Having a small kitchenette was super convenient also. Muchas gracias! Nothing
Mark (8/5): Very good - Die Location ist very quiet and only a five minute Taxi boat ride too busy downtown. The boats go back-and-forth 24 hours and cost one dollar. I would always stay on the side of the bay if you would like some peace. The owner, Pilar is very friendly and helpful. I arrived without any tour bookings, and she helped me find good deals. Thank you Pilar.
Alex (9/5): A relaxing stay in a beautiful chalet by the sea - The chalet is located in a very peaceful area south west of Puerto Ayora, less than 5 minutes’ walk from the beach. I had a beautiful wood-panelled room with a balcony, a hammock, a view of the sea and an ensuite bathroom. Pilar was also a very friendly and accommodating host. I had a very pleasant and relaxing stay. The only minor inconvenience is that you need to take a water taxi from the pier near Galapagos Chalet to get to the main town, Puerto Ayora, as it is not possible to walk there. However, these taxis tale only 3 or 4 minutes and cost only $1.
Michael (10/5): Five star experience. - Gorgeous, peaceful and quiet yet minutes from the bustle of Puerto Ayora. Spacious accommodations and the host Pilar is so loving, compassionate and helpful. Fantastic experience, I wouldn’t consider looking for other accommodations on Santa Cruz. I don’t have anything negative to say, I had a phenomenal stay at Galapagos Chalet.

Verified traveler (4/5): It's not a chalet - After we finally got checked in, turned the AC on and it was not cold. Owner told me it would cool down and to let her know if I didn't need it "cold like hers (friend's room) I would be fine but I could switch it in the morning. Let me be clear, the AC did not work AT ALL and when we returned it was hotter in the room than outside at 9pm. Couldn't open the windows or doors because the of the mosquitoes. The owner was not on site, so I ended up having to share the room with my friend instead of staying in the room I paid for. Owner was fully aware the AC didn't work and moved me to a new room the next day. She did not check if the AC was working in the new room. It did not, so I immediately went to notify her and was basically accused of doing something to this air-conditioner. If you're going to have guests, common sense would say you check to make sure the air conditioning is working in a room they booked and then check to make sure the AC is working if you are putting them in another room. I certainly did not appreciate being made to feel like I did something wrong because she didn't bother to check to make sure AC was working. Won't stay there again
