- Bryan (6/5): Ho hum - Rooms are nicely appointed and the bathrooms appear to be newly remodeled. Breakfast is the usual hot steamer & waffles setup commonly found in mid-range hotels. The pool is small and shallow, but the pool/hot tub area has heavy chlorination which eventually burns your eyes. Pool towels are provided. However, room cleanup is by request only, and the little tag you hang on the door outside requesting "maid service" doesn't work.

Breakfast was really good with decent selections. The only minor issue we had was with the DIRECTV. We like to tune in to local news to watch weather forecasts but never did find any.

- Marilyn (8/5): - Sadly we had to cut our trip short and left on Monday 5/26. I spoke to Mohammed and explained we had a medication issue and needed to go home. Mohammed was able to get authorization for a refund if one night as we were originally scheduled to check out on Tuesday 5/27. He was very polite and understanding. SO THANK YOU MOHAMMED!!

We did have a couple of issue's with our room. #1 When i went to put our clothing in the drawers, the top shelve had oranges, candy, and grocery bags in it. #2 when we plugged our phone charges up, we noticed how dusty the lamps were top to bottom. Otherwise the stay was ok. We really enjoyed the complementary breakfast, FREE SNACKS when you enter, Pool, and hot tub.

- AndyANew (8/5): GrandStay Hotel & Suites Valley City - It was our first time at a GrandStay hotel. We stayed one night. Our room was clean and quiet. Beds were OK. The room had a microwave and refrigerator. The morning breakfast had a good variety and the staff replenished the food very frequently.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Hiking trip - We arrived after spending a week in the mountains and then driving 10 hours to get to the hotel. Looking forward to a shower only to discover a long hair hanging over the body wash dispenser. Fortunately I brought my own.

I went back to the desk and it was a different staff member working, I asked about a different room as I was told it would would accommodate the number of adults and it didn’t. There was nothing they could do for us at that point and it was very disappointing.

- Becky (8/5): - Grand Stay was a very quiet hotel. My kids adored the random snacks in the entry and the breakfast was good. The rooms were a bit small and the lighting in the room was terrible. The pool was very strong with chemical. It made made everyone cough after a short time and actually damaged my young daughters hair.
