Guest Reviews
- Benjamin (8/5): Good value - Really decent size apartment with good amenities. It’s a little dated but more than happy with it considering the price and central location
One thing to note is that the lock needs looking at as it was jammed a couple of time and difficult to lock upon exit.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This property is like a home from home, with everything you need for a lovely stay and is in an excellent location within 5 minutes of Yonge Dundas square and the subway.
- Amy (2/5): - Dirty, uncomfortable and bad smell avery where!!!!!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This property look ok, close to shopping walk around .
- Richard (8/5): - Good size apartment
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not recommended, dirty - The first room was filthy and AC broken. After we found used syringe, we changed rooms. Second room was cleaner but not great. Apartment manager asked for info on who is subletting apt w/o their knowledge.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location, nice apartment with a view, friendly staff.
- Kristy (8/5): Cheap no frills/ amazing location - You absolutely get what you pay for, it’s cheap and in an amazing spot! No frills living which was okay for two friends traveling together. All of our complaints were handled quickly by the owner/manager which was nice! Just needs a deep clean and maybe an update!
- Robert (6/5): - The location was great for getting around downtown. Building is full of students, forget peace and quiet on a Saturday night. Mohammed was helpful & curteous.
Apartment was worn and needs decorated, the parque flooring was damaged and needs repaired properly.
If you’re a single guy hitting the town, this is ideal. Not for families with young kids.
- Milton (6/5): - I found it was a case of you get what you pay for. the contact person was unprofessional and was inconvienced by having to register us.
- Vittala (8/5): - For family especially people who want to cook at home it is good place.
- Mike (4/5): - For a furnished apartment is not fully equipped, had to ask for glasses, bought dish and face clothes ourselves. Limited utensils. Garbage left in the front closet, several bugs crawling around in the kitchen area, no range hood on the stove. For tv lovers, beware, this unit had antenna tv and very limited channels.
Great location and building well secured though.
- William (8/5): Clean, and Good Deal For The Money - For the money it was an acceptable room. The bathroom was clean as was the refrigerator. The bed was comfortable. The a/c was up on the ceiling and I had to stand on a chair to adjust it so not ideal. The location was fine -- within a 20 minute walk of everything I needed to get to for the Toronto International Film Festival. Surprisingly modern building on a block of old houses.
- Charmaine (2/5): - No Bed bugs but beware!!!!! Our apt, was extremely filthy and also infested with cockroaches. Not worth the money and will never stay there again!!!!
- Lucilia (8/5): Ótima localização/prédio antigo - A localização é maravilhosa!
O prédio é bem antigo e o apartamento segue a mesma linha.
- Elyse (4/5): Great location - Don't be lured by the photos. the unit does not look anything like them. A bit old and scruffy looking with dirty carpets in the hallway. They wanted to charge 35$ for the bedding for the pull-out couch.
The downtown location is great for,the price.
- markyboy81 (6/5): Good location could have been a little more clean - Met by a friendly member of someone managing the property who helped with bags etc. Had the place for 2 weeks. 2 towels left (one was covered in mould never came across that before) the apartment itself was in a poor condition and needed some serious money spent on it. Mattress was so uncomfortable I took the sofa bed mattress in the living room and put it on top. Large cupboard with broken things in it. Bit of a health and safety nightmare with our little child. I would find it difficult to rate it 1 star and we did pay good money for the 2 weeks. It served the purpose and the WiFi and cable was the only thing going along with the air con.
- Chad (2/5): IceTray The Game - I stayed in a room for 4 days with no heat. They came twice to fix it and didn't. They also never switched my room. I was there for New Years and the weather was -20°C . I was highly p'd off. They also had roaches . Not a hotel, should not be on this site. It was great price and space wise but the building was nasty.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Convenient but could do with updating, deep clean - Overall the place is a perfect and reasonable place to be literally around the corner from everything. We had a great view on the 32nd floor. Intially we had cleanliness issues but those were taken care of for the most part by the owners. Don't expect a hotel like experience or appearance. It is great for convenience at a reasonable price and it grows on u.
- Ömer (8/5): - Very good for this price.I recommend since. 23rd floor had a nice view. There is no Front desk but you can easily reach the management bu e mail and phone.
- Jon (6/5): Great location, clueless staff, slightly unclean - Good things: location was great, nice view, full large kitchen
Bad things: staff was late to check us in, weren't sure if we had paid or not, didn't ask for a $250 deposit that the Expedia site said was required, wouldn't give us early check in even though it was advertised on the Expedia site, only gave us one set of keys, didn't tell us the right wifi network or password, room was clean except for some streaks on the walls in the bathroom and kitchen, couch and futon smelled a bit stinky (had to febreze the place), air conditioning was pretty much useless (bought a fan to get a breeze going through), cleaning lady showed up a full day before we checked out, not enough towels or toilet paper provided (kitchen included a single dish towel, bathroom two towels, no hand towels).
We weren't expecting much for the price we had paid, so overall our expectations were met. But I would think that a few of these issues could've been easily dealt with, or handled better.
- Darlene & Gary J. (8/5): Very good for what we needed. - Close to every thing / toilet leaked water and Wes said he didn't know when would be fixed.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Uncomfortable - The hotel was really close to the centre and so in a good location but the flat was really dirty with dust inside every room and we stayed two nights without lights. We let the agency knews about that but didn't provide to fix the problem
- Bertrand (10/5): Full One-Bedroom Apt with Kitchen - This hotel room is actually located in an apartment building. It's not a 5-star hotel but, but the price is absolutely unbeatable to get a one-bedroom apt with full kitchen.
- Nicole (4/5): - The location was great, but we booked for 4 people and the room wasn't set up for 4. There weren't enough towels (only gave us 2) and they said that if we wanted proper bedding/ a cot that we had to pay $20 extra per night. Seeing as there was an option to book for 4, this shouldn't have been an issue. Other than those things though, the place and area was nice.
- Buffalo Family (8/5): Good Hotel in downtown close to everything - Hotel is in downtown Toronto, with very affordable basement parking. Hotel is near subway (college station). So you can just purchase a subway day pass and a city pass to visit CN Tower, Aquarium, Casa Loma, and Royal Ontario Museum, etc. Chinatown and many other attractions are just one or two miles away from the Hotel.
Kitchen is not as clean as what we thought. But considering the low price and super location in downtown, this is not a critical issue.
We lived in a one bedroom suite with kitchen and cooking utensils.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Goid place to stay - Great place - central location. Only issue was lack of a wide range of TV channels and weak wifi at times.
- Ruth (8/5): Excellent location! - Very good Flat. Close to everything including subway. Different countries restaurants all around with an affordable price.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Don't go there under all the levels - Kakerlaken Dreckig und keinerlei Niveau altes Mobiliar also nicht zu vermieten
- jenny (2/5): Terrible !!!!!!!! - It was terrible !!! OMG!!! They didn't give us right room as what we saw the pictures on the website also staff was not kind. I booked for 4people but they gave us room for two people. Even though I asked to bring the bedding and towel , they said no. I asked again and again........... Than, They brought it the next day. The bedding and towels was dirty and old. We stayed there for 4days, but they didn't change bedding and didn't clean the room. Also, I need to buy towels . Do not stay there!!!! We never ever believe this site reviews.
- Sherri-lyn (6/5): - There were no linens there should be bath towels face cloth hand towels in bathroom the kitchen needs dish towels and cloths garbage bags we were not informed that these things were not supplied also a pull out couch is advertised but no lines for it either ????
- Richard (2/5): Cockroach Convention - In the interest of putting this very disappointing experience behind me as quickly as possible, I'll keep my statement brief. The unit that I was given was basically a cockroach-infested dump. These were absolutely the worst accommodations that I've had, by far, in my 40 years of travel experience.
- Piotr (2/5): nie polecam, ten lokal powinien zniknąć z oferty. - To jedno wielkie oszukaństwo.
- nao (6/5): room is too dark - There are only a few lamp in the room. Especially in the living room, there is only one lamp and it is at the corner of the room. When you eat dinner after the sunset, you cannot see what you eat.
Cucina: vedere foto casalinghi.
TV: Si vedono a malapena 3 canali.
Sala: No commenti i peli bianchi sul coprivano
- joe (8/5): Right in the heart of Toronto - Toronto had many sights and was close enough to Niagara to take that in too--never dreamt the boat went so far into the waterfall!!! We didn't rent a car but relied on public transport and it was very good, subway and trains and buses easy to follow. The CityPass was good and offered lots of the signature places, and even got you to the top of the line in some attractions, like the Aquariam, which was just incredible with the 54 million gallon tank and the full sized sharks swimming overhead the tunnel you walk through. We also thought the lunch cruise on Lake Ontario was a good trip, lots of pictures with good food also. The zoo was a bit disappointing in that there was so much walking and often the features were closed when you got there, plus many others we have visited were better--of course the pandas were their signature presentation. All in all the town was very good and a place to revisit in the future.
- Maria (6/5): Best location at the center of downtown Toronto - Room size is decent for a single or couple traveller. Used the folding extra bed f or our daughter.
Room is old, clean, equipped with cooking and dining utensils, ac and wifi + tv was very efficient.
We tried the pool once but looked dirty and not maintained well so we didn't tried again.
Sauna is not working. They have laundry facilities which is good.
Overall, we had a comfortable stay and can't find any other place with this price at the center of downtown Toronto.
Paid extra for the parking per night, but that's fine since it's very convenient and safe.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Price+ location+ kitchen- hygiene- - Great location, very reasonably priced and has parking at a reasonable cost. Cable Tv, wifi and air-con. Basic apartment, no kettle, microwave, or pans; pretty dated. Home to a cockroach.
Not the sort of place you'd take your wife/gf/bf or children, but okay for friends/students etc looking for a cheap, centrally located apartment in Toronto.
- Verified traveler (8/5): good - Really good location. Was simple and clean enough.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location. Friendly attentive manager. - 11 day stay. Wonderful location. Was great to have an apartment as I wanted to be able to make most of my meals and do laundry. It was a quiet, friendly building.
- Verified traveler (10/5): nice place to stay!!! - This was a very convenient location with everything that you would need for a comfy stay. The dollar store was close by so I was able to pick up a few things that the kitchen was lacking.
